Hi I'm back again with another chapter. Anywho I hope you enjoy!
Naruto P.O.V.
Btw they are now 8.
"Go Naruto, run and find Sasuke!" Mum shouted to me as she dodged another kunai.
"But-" My parents interupted me "Go!" they shouted and I turned and ran, ran from the wreckage, ran from the enemy and ran from the sadness.
I ran as fast as I could. The wind felt like it was smacking my face over and over again but I didn't stop running, The ground felt like it would give out underneath me but I didn't stop running. I didn't stop running until my feet gave away but just as I was about to hit the ground a pair of arms caught me.
Without thinking I started to try to get out of the persons grip when "Calm down Naru it's just me" Sasukes smooth voice snapped me back to reality.
"S-Sasuke m-my clan they're-" I started but then was cut off by sasuke.
"I know Naruto I know The same things happening with mine."
"What are we gonna do then?" I questioned feeling my worry spread across my face.
"Well we'll only get in the way if we go back to our villages so let's go to the meadow" He said a thoughtful expression on his face.
"Y-yeah ok" I replied to shaken up to think at this point, how the hell was he so calm?
When we got to the middle of the meadow I collapsed shaking. I wrapped my arms around myself, curling in on myself. I felt tears slip down my cheeks, slow at fast but then becoming quicker soon becoming a waterfall of emotions.
All of the kids I was friends with in my clan, all of those people, my family, being killed. I couldn't bear the thought of it all but my mind played all of their screams, their cries, their pleas for help.
I felt like ripping myself inside out but then a pair of arms wrapped around me and I found myself on none other than Sasuke's chest. Sasuke was holding him tight as if afraid that his best friend of 1 year would suddenly be taken from him aswell as his clan.
"Sasuke! Naruto! Where are you two?" Came a voice from the woods. I recognised that voice, it was-
"Ita-Nii were here!" shouted Sasuke but when Itachi came out of the woods we saw that it wasn't Itachi it was one of the killers!
"Hahaha you dumb kids actually fell for that!" he shouted sneering at us. Taking out a kunai then man rushed forward and me and Sasuke still sitting in fear couldn't dodge and he sliced the knife across Sasukes cheek.
I looked at Sasuke wanting to ask if he was ok but then I saw the long cut blood oozing out of it.
It was bleeding.
Sasuke was bleeding.
The man made Sasuke bleed.
White hot rage bubbled inside of me and suddenly burst. I jumped at the man, grabbing a lump of his hair and pulling it so hard that his scalp started to bleed. I brought my knee up to his neck making him choke and fall "d-damn b-b-brat" he said. He then fell unconcious from lack of air.
I was about to ask Sasuke if he was ok or not when I felt a sharp blow at my side. I flew across the meadow and landed into the lake with a big splash.
"Naruto!" came Sasuke's voice although muffle from the water I was in. I swam to the surface coughing and spluttering getting the water out of my mouth and lungs.
"GAAAAAHHHH" came a shout and a bigger splash of water next to me. I quickly swam to the ground and ran back to Sasuke who was breathing heavily with Itachi standing next to him. I looked at Sasuke and gasped. They both turned to me with quesioning looks.
"S-sasuke your eyes" I inhaled "You've unlocked your sharingan!" I shouted and itachi spun him around and looked at his eyes.
With a soft smile on his face Itachi poked him in the forehead and congratulated him. But smile was soon wiped away as we heard an explosion from the direction of the Uchiha clan. I saw tears prick up in Sasukes eyes.
I hugged him wishing I could make his pain go away. Wishing, hoping against hope that this would just end already. Itachi drew us in close and wrapped his arms around us as we sobbed into his shirt.
After what felt like years Dad finally came into the meadow followed by Mum. My smile dropped, where was everyone else? As if on cue about half of our clan followed them into the meadow some carrying the younger kids and injured people.
I ran to them jumping into their arms crying a fresh batch of tears. I saw Sasuke and Itachi running to their parents with their clan behind them, like ours they only how about half of their members.
We all stood there as the rain came pouring down on us, drenching our clothes with more pain and sadness. One by one we went up and gave flowers to those who had fallen. After I had put my flowers down and said words that had been inside jokes between us I stood beside Sasuke. His hand found mine and he interlocked them giving mine a small squeeze. He was saying that it was going to be ok, that we would live through this.
The Uchiha clan had decided to stay at our clans part of the village since it was mostly still in one peace. Mostly.
They put a futon in my room for Sasuke but he didn't use it as he sat on my bed. "Naru look at me please" He whispered taking my hand in his.
I looked at him tears slowly falling down my face and onto the soft covers of my bedsheet. "Naru it's gonna be ok, we're gonna get through it" He continued.
"H-how can you be so sure?" I asked, my voice trembling from crying.
He looked at the moon, staring at its spots, taking them in. "they left us yes" He started "But just because they left doesn't mean they're gone forever you know, as long as we remember them and carry on their stories they will never truly leave" He finished.
I stared at him. He looked back at me and opened his arms. I threw myself into them silently thanking him because now I felt a lot better and more determined to pass on the stories of the ones who had died, to keep them alive.
Our parents had allowed us a week to grieve but then sent us back to school. Instantly Sasuke was getting worried looks and questions from all of his fangirls.
He ignored them and dragged me to our seats. Sakura, the girl next to us, kept shooting him sympethetic looks which I could tell was really annoying him.
"Sasuke-Kun are you ok?" she asked. I wanted to punch her in the face and shifted slighly when I heard a voice in my head. "Don't kit your teachers gonna kill ya" It said.
I jumped slightly and Sasuke gave me a look that said "What happened to you?". I gave him a look that said "Tell you later". He nodded and turned back to listen to what Iruka-Sensei was saying.
'H-hello?' I asked unsure of what the voice was.
"Hello there child" came the voice again.
'U-um who are you and what are you doing inside of my head?' I asked it.
"Well you see I'm more of inside your body than in your head kit"
'kit?' I was confused. Why did it keep calling me kit?
"well your a kid so yeah kit" I sweatdropped at this.
"I'll explain this more tonight c ya then" It said. I sighed turning my attention back to the lesson at hand.
Outside Sasuke told me to explain my 'wierd' behaviour in class.
"There was this voice in my head so I talked to it for a while" I said and he just let out a sigh. He was vulnerable.
I poked his forehead with a grin. He looked at me dramatically and poked my forehead. I retaliated and it ended in an all-out poking war. Sasuke won in the end and left me to sulk about it while he dragged me back into class.
At night I closed my eyes and fell asleep wondering when the voice would come back.
I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a sewer looking place laying infront of a huge gate. Everything wall was a dull gold colour, bordering the gate were purple blocks with darker gold swirl patterns and there was a seal on the gate.
"Ah so I see that you have finally arrived young one" Came a deep voice from behind the cell doors.
"Hi there what's your name?" I asked a smile on my face trying to show that I was friendly.
"My name is kyuubi young one" It said. I frowned.
"Is there something else I can call you because kyuubi means nine tails" I didn't want to call him 'nine tails' even thought he might have them.
"Hmm very well then you may call me kurama" It said coming into the light.
I sucked in my breath. It was a huge fox with orange fur, red eyes, a black snout and nine large swaying tails.
"Now I see why you called yourself the nine tails" I said my eyes wide with amazement.
"So I told you I'd explain so ask me any question you want" The fox said laying down.
"Well um first of all are you male or female?" I asked because even though it had a deep voice I wasn't sure it was male.
"Well no ones ever asked me that but then again no ones ever properly spoken to me, but to answer your question I am a female" Now dubbed she said.
"Ok next question is why are you inside of me" Feeling I couldn't hold back the question any longer.
"Ah theres that question, well kit sit and I shall tell you" She began "It all started when Madara Uchiha decided that he would take control of me and..." After listening to the story I couldn't help but feel bad for the fox as it wasn't exactly her fault that she was stuck inside of me.
I yawned and stretched my limbs. "Go to sleep now Kit you must be tired" Kurama said her tone soft and caring. I smiled at her and waved as I layed back down and fell into a peace full sleep.
FINALLY I FINISHED!
After three or four days I finally managed to finish the chapter, this is by far the longest chapter I have ever written. Please tell me if you enjoyed it and I would like some questions for Naruto to ask Kurama in future chapters if it's not to much to ask!
