That Awkward Time I Fell In Love
Ch.10
It had been a whole week since Naruto had dinner with Itachi. And outside of working, there hadn't been any contact from the raven. For someone who wanted a relationship, he didn't show it very well. On the bright side, Kakashi and he had settled on a book cover and pricing and everything related to putting a book on shelves, so his first book would be available next month.
Naruto sighed, going in to work that day and paused at the elevator, even though Sasuke was already in it.
"Hurry up, dobe," the raven grumbled. They didn't have time for coffee this morning, seeing as Kakashi woke up the raven later than appreciated. And Naruto's alarm wasn't set.
"I'm coming, teme," he growled out, walking in the small box. They rode up, though Naruto swore he was going on a coffee run soon, so he didn't know why he had to travel all the way up to the top floor, just to leave again.
As soon as the doors opened the two trudged to their desks, Sasuke slamming his door, and Naruto sighed again, knowing it would just piss Itachi off. Sure as can be, less than a minute later, the older man came out, glaring at Sasuke's door, like it had offended him. In a way it had, making such noise so early in the morning.
Itachi walked up to Sasuke's office, ripping the door open and slamming it shut as he walked in. Not a good sign. Naruto debated getting coffee for the three of them, but he just didn't have the money for such luxuries. It was only three minutes later the door opened calmly, and Itachi walked out, slowly closing the door.
"Naruto," he started. "Could you please go get coffee for the drama queen?" Itachi pleaded, pinching the bridge of his nose, eyes screwed shut.
"Um, I don't have the money for coffee," the blond stated, unsure.
Itachi looked at Sasuke's door venomously, then gave Naruto his credit card. "Just get some for all three of us then," he stated, walking to his office, the hand pinching his nose now ruffling through his long hair.
Naruto nodded, though the other couldn't see it, and left to get coffee for all of them.
