chapter seven.

I shook my head and scratched my neck

"umm.. where's Sasuke?"

Kakashi sighed and took a step back from me. "He's in the other room eating some breakfast."

"Ah, okay. Thank you!" I replied with a smile and bowed my head. He nodded and left the room.

I got up and I fixed my hair after rubbing my eyes.

ugh so tired~!

I slowly left the room and went to the kitchen where Kakashi and Sasuke were.

"Sakura-chan is still resting" I said as I grabbed the chair and pulled it out to sit next to Sasuke.

"Oh, right you have the room right next to her." Kakashi said still focusing on cooking.

"Mhm" I hummed and stretched.

My eyes slowly looked to the raven teen next to me..but I broke out of the hold when Kakashi gave me some ramen and I smiled and thanked him.

He softly smiled back and turned back to cook something for sakura-chan for when she wakes up.

"What'd you eat sasuke?" I asked , noticing he wasn't eating.

"Nothing. I'm not hungry" He looked at me with the annoyed yet tired reply.

I shook my head and picked up a bit of my ramen and fed it to sasuke.

He then choked on it

"sorry-" I said in panic.

I got up and grabbed a napkin to aid sasuke.

"- wtf_?!" he yelled as he looked down to his lap where the ramen had fallen.

I kept apologizing and started to wipe sasuke's clothing.

I looked up at him as I felt his body stiffin. He was a soft red color..my~ is he flustered?

He solved me by making me fall to the ground. He snatched the napkin from my hand and cleaned himself up.

"sorry .." i said setting up and dusting my clothes

"Shut it, usuratonkachi." he said coldly, making my body shiver.

I blushed and then looked at the stove where Kakashi was once before.. I suppose he went outside to take a breather.

I sighed and sat back down "you need to eat if we are going to continue this mission.."

Sasuke just hummed his usual "hn" and sat back down more calm and collected.

I ate some and then gently handed sasuke a bit..he refused to eat. That pissed me off because I'm giving my food to him! And I hardly do that for anyone.

"Sasuke.'' I said sternly looking at him with a glare setting my chopsticks down on top of my bowl of ramen.

"Naruto."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Ughh! Sasuke please just a bit?"

".."

"Hn.."

He nodded. I can tell he was still kinda upset.

I smiled and grabbed the chopsticks again and picked up a bit of Ramen - a mouthful actually- but Sasuke didn't take the chopsticks away from my hand so i sighed and when to feed him but he didn't open his mouth "..Sasuke come on open up." Sasuke scoffed and took my hand with the chopsticks and fed himself. I blushed and looked away.

Time skip

(sakura slept in due to a rather sudden illness but said she was well enough to move around)

Naruto painted softly as he wiped the sweat off his forehead and looked down at Sasuke who was as well panting just as much. He smiled and began to move fast through the trees a few branches above the uchiha two were sparring but Naruto had a slight advantage due to the fact he can make blood-clones. Kakashi and Sakura are watching from afar. Naruto then stumbled on a branch that was a bit too high. He tried to catch balance but fell to do so, ending in him falling to the forest ground and hitting his back harshly, knocking the air out of him instantly. Sasuke froze in place and looked down at Naruto who was now coughing and gasping for air.. (how-?) He jumped down and sat Naruto up softly.

"Breath idiot.." he said as he leaned Naruto's back on a tree. Naruto shook his head fast saying he couldn't.

He kept gasping but it hurt to do so. Naruto's eyes started to water. Grabbing onto Sasuke trying to calm down. Sasuke grabbed Naruto's back and started to panic as well. Naruto's first breath was very pitched and sharp but he still got some air and so he slowly exhaled and inhaled. He sat up and hugged Sasuke still trying to catch his breath.

"Don't scare me like that usuratonkachi.." Sasuke said with a soft laugh as he felt Naruto's and his heart calm.. Naruto placed his head on Sasuke's shoulder and took a deep breath.

"Heh sorry, teme. I wasn't controlling my chakra enough.." Naruto then looked for kakashi and sakura.

Sasuke seemed to notice. "They are on the other side of the forest waiting for us to stop sparing." Naruto made a 'o' with his mouth and stayed close to Sasuke not wanting to let go. Sasuke sighed and picked the blonde up putting his legs around his torso. Naruto eased into the hold and held onto Sasuke as he started to run towards their sensei and Sakura.

time skip

(with the whole team)

"Naruto..you need to stop pushing yourself over your limits.." Sakura said in a worried tone as she checked him over with her medical ninjutsu.

"Heh..sorry! But I need to go beyond that to get stronger! If i dont go over my limit from time to time, how will I get stronger?" Naruto said moving my hands in weird gestures as he spoke.

"..please Naruto-kun. It truly worries me when you do so.."

"Hai, hai.."

Naruto looked at the young uchiha, who was by his side, talking to Kakashi about working on his Chidori. He might have seen the blonde looking at him because he made eye contact with him but he quickly looked back with a slight blush..Naruto looked back and blushed as well he shook his head.. He thanked sakura and apologized for the trouble he caused. Naruto sat up and got up on his feet.

His team looked at him in question.

"I'm going to my house..see ya" his voice was soft and a bit harsh due to the fact he woke up not so long ago.

As he left out the door Sasuke hummed and smiled he fallowed soon after saying his goodbyes.
