The Uchiha house was by far the most beautifully decorated house on Christmas, there were lights everywhere, golden and silver baubles and ton of inflatable decorations for the kids to enjoy. Naruto went all out with the décor, every single year you could find him on the sales department buying every single thing he could get his hands on, his house had even appeared in a magazine along with a three page interview in which Sasuke had only answered a single question.

Boruto breathed in deeply, closing his hand so tightly his girl looked at him with a shy smile. "You're even more nervous than I am, and I am the one meeting your parents" she said with a soft laughter. Boruto gulped and laughed nervously. "Sorry… it's just… you know… it's the first time I ever bring a girl home… and i…" – he stammered

"I feel flatered" – she teased

The door opened before the teen could reach for it and Sarada appeared behind it with a devious smile on her face. Boruto gave her a look that screamed "don't you dare", Sarada opened her mouth ready to scream and the older boy pounced on her, both rolling on the floor, one if a fit of laughter trying to call her dad at the top of her lungs and the other desperately trying to cover her mouth.

"You must be Sarada, nice to meet you" – the girl interrupted their banter barely hiding her smile. "My name is Sumi" – Sarada stopped her mock fight and stood up dusting her jeans and shirt.

"Uchiha Sarada, nice to meet you. How brave of you to date this ugly monkey, I really admire your courage" – she said, eyeing her brother. Sumi laughed and extended her hand

"I try my best" – she answered to Boruto's dismay.

"Papa's in the kitchen, i'll distract him. Dad's in the living room with Himawari. Uncle Tachi will be santa this year, for the little ones, prepare the camera, this is going to be epic" - Sarada and her tomboyish self walked away with a wave and Boruto took his girlfriend's hand to stand up.

"Your sister's the best" - she laughed

"I beg to differ, but whatever you say" Boruto joked, making his way through the mansion to the cozy living room.

Sumi gasped at the sight of the humongous Christmas tree on the farthest corner of the living room, right near the fireplace.

Himawari was the first to spot them. "Bobo" she screamed, wiggling from hee father's tight embrace.

"How cute" - Sumi giggled as the toddler ran to her big brother

Sasuke stood up, his whole presence exuded elegance and control, the girl thought.

"Nice to meet you, we've heard so many things about you, all good i might add" he said with a smirk.

"It is an honor sir, I've also heard only wonderful things about you"

"Feel yourself at home, Boruto you can take her to our private library, I've heard you are an avid reader"

"I am sir" - Sumi blushed. "I'll leave you two alone, this little monkey needs a diaper change" - he said, Himawari giggled. "I poopie daddy" she laughed along with both teens

Sasuke gripped his son's shoulder in a reassuring manner. Boruto was beaming, one dad down, the hardest down to go.

Naruto knew they had arrived, he heard the commotion at the house's entrance, heard the crash of the siblings fighting like a pair of wild foxes. He rolled his eyes when Sarada entered the kitchen with a stretch "sooooo, what's up?" -

"I know what you're doing, sometimes I can't even believe grandpa Fugaku made you his sucesor after Sasuke"

"That was totally uncalled for" - Sarada huffed

"Was it?!" - Naruto teased

"I thought you were going to run out there and shower her with love" - Sarada made a fish face and made kiss sounds.

"Mini Sasuke, go get everyone ready. Everyone will be here soon" - Sarada saluted as a soldier and ran out, leaving Naruto alone with his thoughts.

Sumi closed the door of the library behind her, she had told Boruto she was going to the bathroom but that was totally a lie, she snuck around trying to find the kitchen, she knew Boruto's other dad would be there, alone.

And right she was, Naruto was standing with his back to the door, his hair was longer that she was used to seeing on the magazines, his body was shaking in silent laughter while watching a video on his phone.

"Sorry to interrupt, I wanted to meet you so badly" - she blurted out, Naruto turned around with a blush adorning his cheeks, his eyes were wide in surprise but as soon as a second they changed into loving adoration, Sumi couldn't help but fall in love.

"I didn't mean to be rude, sorry for sneaking around" - she apologized. "I've heard so much about Sasuke-san but the most adoring things I heard have been from you, from Boruto's papa" - she said. Naruto did not say a single word, he just walked right at her and enveloped her in a tight hug that felt as if they had known each other for a lifetime.

"I can finally meet you, welcome home" - he said with a smile that made Sumi truly felt that she was home.

"There's so much i want to talk to you about, but I'm afraid my bathroom escapade has taken more time than i expected"

Naruto laughed and gently pushed her out the door. "I'll show you the embarrassing pictures later tonight and we'll chat as long as you want to" he winked

Sasuke who was listening from the dining room smiled, it seemed he didn't have to intervene just yet.

As stated before, covd made me return, i was debating on posting this since a looong time has passed since my last update here but whatver, i dont care anymore.
