Chapter 19: Making The Appointment
As soon as they reached the penthouse Riki went to the balcony to have a smoke while Iason went and make the call to Quiahtenon. Iason wonted to get Riki seen as soon as possible. So he went to his office and sat down at his desk. He was not sure how long the call would last. Heiku liked to gossip about everything and anything. He was most likely as bad if not worse then Omaki. After the phone rang once it was answered.
"Hello this is the Quiahtenon residence. Sarius speaking. How may I help you." Came a soft tender voice.
"Sarius, this is Lord Mink. Is Heiku there right now." Iason asked with authority in his cool voice.
"Yes Lord Mink. Just one moment please." Sarius said.
It didn't take to long for Heiku was on the phone.
"Will Iason I was wondering when I would hear from you! Omaki said that you had gotten a pretty wonderful pet. One that has never been seen in Eos. And may I assume your calling for a check up?" Heiku asked with a little laugh.
"Yes I am. And how much has our dear brother told you?" Iason asked knowing that Omaki would of told him that Riki was a mongrel.
"While enough to know that he is extremely gorgeous and while behave for what he is. Which is a mongrel, the lowest thing on this planet." was the reply.
"Firstly brother he is not a thing. His a person and one that I dear say should not have been in the slums to begin with." Was Iason response.
"Do tell brother!" Heiku was now intrigue.
"I'll tell you at Riki's appointment. Which will be when." Iason said not wonting to say anything over the phone. You never no if someone was listening.
"Will how about this afternoon around 1300 hr. at my private office. If that is good with you." Was the reply.
"That would be great. Thank you for this. I owe you one." Iason said. Happy that Riki would be seen today.
"It is not a problem. As long as you tell me everything when we see each other." Heiku said and could not wait until then.
"Alright! See you then." Iason said and hanged up.
He know he wouldn't get out of Riki's appointment with out Heiku knowing almost everything that he know. The gossip is going to go wild after this. But he wont let it get out of hand. He has to find out more about his pet. As far as he can tell Riki shouldn't have been in Guardian.
