Izuku had the job he worked so hard for, a talented musician he wanted to get others as inspired as his middle school teacher got him. So, he went to a good university, studied intently and become a teacher at a local Tokyo middle school. He lived a decent life, busy but fulfilling work and a small group of close friends. Life was quiet, but Izuku had often wondered if this fulfilled him. But an evening playing his piano in his small apartment soothed his soul, this was enough. Until he met the new P.E teacher at his school, and his life completely changed.

It was a Monday at 8:00am during autumn, all the kids were back from their summer break. Mr Midoriya was on his way to a sudden staff meeting, he dressed smartly but comfortable for the cold weather. A button up shirt with a jumper over if, black suit pants and brown slacks. He stood out with his cute curly green hair, and the jingling off his keys attached to his pocket. To open the music rooms and instrument storage room. Co-workers joked that he was like a cat with a collar. His mint green Coffee travel cup in hand, he arrived at the busy staff room. All his colleagues sitting around the table, all familiar faces, friends and fellow co-workers. English teacher Ms Uraraka, Math teacher Mr Iida and Mr Kirishima the P.E teacher were the ones he was closer to. But there were several other teachers, who were very friendly, but he was too shy to see outside of work. But there was an unfamiliar face at the head of the table, sitting next to the Vice Principal Mr Aizawa. He had medium length black wavy hair and had bags under his eyes. His presence commanded everyone around him, Izuku highly respected him. Taking his usual seat next to Kirishima, the red head shot Izuku a smile before putting his attention back on Mr Aizawa.

"Thank you all for coming this morning, we have a new member of staff joining us. He is a new P.E teacher to help us expand our sports department, would you like to introduce yourself? Aizawa asked the new teacher.

The man stood up from his chair. Tall, blonde and muscular. He was quite attractive Izuku thought, but his face was kind of scary with an intimidating resting face.

"My name is Bakugou Katsuki, I aim to streamline and improve the sports department here at UA Middle school, it's a pleasure to meet you all" He sounded very stiff but clearly dedicated to his teaching area, once he finished, he sat back down almost immediately. The chair awkwardly screeching beneath him.

"Most likely nervous…" Izuku thought to himself.

Aizawa looked at Bakugou with a surprised look on his face.

"Ok...Well now onto the announcements for the day..."

After the announcements everyone got up from their seats, taking a moment to talk with fellow teachers before preparing for their day. Many of the teachers flocked to Bakugou to introduce themselves and welcome him to their school. Izuku tried to introduce himself also but could not squeeze past the others (and he was not one to push). Before realising he had to prepare for first period band, this would have to wait anyway.

"Hello Midoriya!" the booming voice of his co-worked Ida always caught him off guard.

"Ida hey! Are you ready for our Monday commute?" They joked as they left the room together, both their first period classrooms were very close together on Monday mornings.

So, they would walk together and catch up about their weekend plans, Izuku appreciated this time greatly. It always relaxed him and got him ready to deal with a room of teenagers, although nothing could really do that.

"So, what do you think of the new teacher? He seems very knowledgeable hopefully our students treat him with respect and get the most out of it, should help Kirshima manage the workload with the new Baseball team". Ida asked Izuku.

"He certainly seems nice; I hope I can properly introduce myself. Completely took me off guard, but I have a good feeling!"

Ida chuckled as opened a set of doors in the corridor, allows Izuku to enter before him. Another part of their routine.

"Midoriya you always have a good feeling, you're a very nice person!"

"Ah hey that's too kind, I wish students felt the same way. Instead of getting angry at me for turning the DJ setting off the keyboards. I really hope they did their homework…"

They got to Ida's class, and they waved to each other and Izuku went around the corner to his classroom. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the door, it was quite large and stiff, so he had to give it a hard nudge to get it open. The room was quite large, the walls he had decorated with posters of inspirational musicians, diagrams for notes and tips for playing instruments. All handmade by Izuku, very cute and colourful, a wooden desk in front of a large whiteboard. Infront a circle of metal chairs and music stands, and the back of the room a set of doors leading to a storage room for instruments. The room was not perfect, the linoleum floor was cracked in places and dented from people dropping instruments or music stands. And there was only so many places you could cover scratches on the walls with posters before it became an attack on the senses. But Izuku considered this his home, his classroom for the last five years. He shared an office too with other teachers, but this was his favourite place in the whole school. Setting up he set up his desk, tidied up the chairs and stands and wrote the lesson plan up on his whiteboard.

The first class of the day went smoothly, quite a few of his students did not do their summer homework. But Izuku was known to be quite lenient, as long as they got it in within the end of the week, so they didn't fall behind and become stressed out. His student's wellbeing and mental health was the most important thing for him, along with their enjoyment in his classes. Sure, people where quite tired, there was a lot of yawning due to waking up before 1pm. His year 7s had picked instruments first semester and learned the basics and scales previously, now they were learning a piece of music for the end of year festival. Along with occasional music theory and scale tests to keep the students confident in their ability to perform. The first bell rang loudly, and the students dragged their feet to put their instruments away and get to next period. Apart from a small group of students who always spoke to him after class, all avid musicians who always asked for tips and to discuss musicians.

"Sensei I saw you at the Summer Jazz festival! I wanted to say hello, but my parents dragged me away to get a good spot. Still got stuck right at the back though, we should go there on a school trip!" a short boy with curly black hair and umber skin approached his teacher.

"Really I had no idea! Its ok though Akihiro I am glad you for a seat, I ended up standing for most of it. That is a great idea I will talk to some other teachers and hopefully we can get it rolling, maybe next year we will be seeing it together".

"Sensei I've been practising really hard at my flute this summer, I even played for my grandmother, and she loved it!" A tall brunette with tan skin approached him from the right, he had missed talking to his students, so he welcomed everyone to chat with him.

"I can tell the way you hit those high notes was much better than last semester, I'm very proud of you too Daitan!".

The students waved goodbye as they left the classroom, all apart from one last student. Katsuma Shimano, one of the students that Izuku privately tutors. He has a small group of only three students that he teaches piano to, their parents pay and the play at other schools and competitions all over Japan. Of course, he loved all his students equally, and would never pick favourites. But Katsuma was talented, though he was a very shy boy who stayed mostly quiet during class. He expressed himself in his love for the piano, who ever heard him was truly moved by his music. And Izuku could not help but be proud, he was only a first year, but Izuku saw great potential in him.

"Hello sensei, I um wanted to check that my Piano Lesson form was sent in by my parents. So, we can have our first lesson this week?"

"Yes, I checked this morning, and we are all set, I'm looking forward to another semester of classes Katsuma kun" Izuku replied cheerfully.

Katsuma smiled before giving him a small way as he left for his next class. The rest of the day went quite quickly, he found himself already buried in paperwork in the teacher's office. It was a long room filled with desks and computers facing each other, its where teachers did all their admin work away from their classrooms. Its also where students were called to if they wanted to discuss their assignments or discuss problems they may be having. But today it only had a couple of teachers working away, making small chatter as they worked. Hours passed and the bell eventually went for lunch time, Izuku sighed. Leaving the office to head to the staff room, this was pretty much his routine, so it was not special. But today, was very different. The room was bustling, just like this morning with the new teacher swarmed by other teachers. This time as they all sat together round the table, being louder than usual. Bakugou was quite loud and had an air of confidence in his voice, it was quite jarring to listen to. But Izuku tried to ignore it as he retrieved his lunch, a premade bento from a local convenience store with chicken, rice and vegetables. As he walked to end of the table where he usually sat, Kirishima approached him suddenly. Making him jump a little. He was tall, spiky red hair and very muscular. Very friendly and cheerful almost all the time, he didn't event need coffee like Izuku.

"Hey Izuku! Have you met the new teacher yet Bakugo? He's really cool and so manly, you know he used to play baseball professionally?"

Before he could respond, Kirishima called over to Bakugou gesturing from him to come over. Chair screeching as he stood up, making the table slightly shake. Bakugou certainly had a presence, as he approached them Izuku found himself quite intimated. Bakugou was much taller than him, he felt himself having to look up just to make eye contact. With deep red eyes that looked him up and down, like he was checking to see if Izuku was worth his time. Just like Kirishima he was quite muscular, but something about his build really got his attention. Blonde spiky hair, a white T-shirt with three red stripes off the shoulders. Black shorts that end at the knee, highlighting his large calves and trendy trainers that Izuku had seen on celebrities. Way out of his budget. Trying not to stare Izuku tried to gather the courage to speak, and not stare at his new co-worker.

"H-hello Mr Bakugo! My name is Izuku Midoriya I teach music and tutor piano, I help plan our end of year musical piece for the festival. The students work really hard!" he blurted out awkwardly.

Bakugo simply stared at him for a moment, placing his hand on his hip as he stood.

"Right…Midoriya I'll try to remember, and you teach music? Great very important subject…lots of jobs in that for students" he responded in a snarky tone.

"I think I have some students who you tutor, yeah some in my regular classes and the Baseball club which I've decided to lead. As long as you don't get in my way or my students' performance, we should be fine, though not sure why anyone would play the piano sounds kind of boring to me. "

Izuku stood there stunned as Bakugo pushed by him to leave the staffroom. Boring? Get in my way? No jobs in music? So rude! Izuku clenched his fist, his first meeting with his new co-worker and he was furious. Mr Bakugou seemed like a total asshole, and he would now have to deal with him for a while. This semester was going to be rough.
