The headache Kirishima had was horrific, he could barely think as he ate fries with Denki on his couch. It was the following day, Denki and Sero crashed at his apartment. Woke up at 2pm, ordered greasy fast food and crashed in his living room, reliving the night before. The place was a pigsty, rubbish and his friends' jackets/bags thrown on the floor. Visible by the bright sun peering through the window, the city scape contrasting greatly against Kirishima's messy apartment.

"I checked in with Uraraka and Iida, they got home safe" Sero turned to the couch to relay the information, he was lying on his back holding his phone above him.

"Awesome I'm glad they were ok, I guess it's just Bakugo and Deku we haven't heard from then? Think their hungover?" Denki asked.

They all checked their phones; no unread texts or phone calls from them they were completely MIA. Denki started to yammer on about the night, simultaneously as he eats his chicken nuggets. Kirishima was half listening as he scrolled through his feed, could not help but help his chest tighten from the lack of news from his boyfriend. Anxiously refreshing his app, before he can scroll, he is met with an interesting article from a drama account. The cover photo a cropped photo of him and Bakugo.

"Oh no guys we are so screwed! Look at this!" He pulled Sero's phone out of his hands and shoved his in its place, his face dramatically changed as he looked through the photos.

"Jesus Chargebolt, you look crazy! I however don't look half bad" he teased as he prodded Denki in the knee, making him squirm and insight an attack from his foot and his terrible meme socks.

"Shut up I look at hot as always! And get off you dick!" he squealed.

Continuing to scroll through the photos, as Sero pulled Denki off the couch and playfully fighting him. One of them catches his eye, of course he looked very drunk and that was beyond embarrassing. But it was the photos of Bakugo that caught him off guard.

"Will you two stop trying to murder each other for one second" He asked very calmly, as his friends looked at him.

Denki was pinned under Sero, in their classic 'No Homo' and 'of course we aren't smitten' interactions with each other. Passing them the phone, they examined the photos of interest. The start was normal, a few far away shots of Bakugou with the group. And him in the background while the photographer takes photos of the other heroes in the group. Then came photos of him with Deku, standing in front of the bathroom coming out together red faced and clearly bewildered by the flash of the camera. Then there we some very out of focus and slightly blurry photos of the group as they leave, including a separate shot of Deku and Bakugo making their way by themselves.

"At least their together, you think they got into an argument in the toilet. They were always going off to fight in high school wouldn't be surprised." Sero spoke in a very relaxed tone, not fazed by the pictures.

"I'm worried more about our agency seeing these, we are going to get yelled at for sure".

"Yeah, you might be right, but even if that's it where is they? Do you think they got a little too violent and ended up at the hospital?" Kirishima voiced his concerns, his friends listening intently clearly noticing his anxiety.

Denki got back onto the couch beside him, cuddling into his side, offering his comfort that he clearly needed.

"I'm sure they are fine but don't let them, or more specifically Bakugo off the hook for this! He's made you so worried, its not fair on you".

"Yeah bro its really messed up; we can help you put him in his place. This better be all a big misunderstanding no excuse for being an asshole".

Kirishima began to laugh at all the crazy solutions his friends made to punish Bakugo, as he finished reading the article. Of course, it had speculations of Bakugo secretly hooking up with Deku, Denki and Uraraka hooking up because they cuddled and lots of other accusations. But he was not fussed, this happened all the time it was just part of the job. Heroes are treated like celebrities, lack of privacy and creating fake stories for attention. Kirishima once read an article which used photos of him visiting his Grandfather, and they accused him of being a gigolo. The media was crazy, and he did not care for it, but he had this anxiety within him. Bakugo was his first boyfriend, and he was not sure what the rules were. Should he be mad? Was he overreacting? He had no idea, and it gave him a stomach-ache, he trusted him and loved him. Hopefully, that was enough.

Eventually his phone vibrated and saw Bakugo's name show up on the screen before he could even say hello his boyfriend was apologising profusely. Explaining everything that had happened and beating him self up so intensely Kirishima could barely keep up. Apparently, he and Deku had a lot to drink like the rest of the group, and he ended up going to Deku's place with him and crashing on his couch. When he eventually woke up in the afternoon his phone was completely dead and had only just made it back to his place with his phone and rushed to charge it. He sounded so sincere and angry at himself Kirishima could not help but pity him, and not give him the silent treatment as Denki had suggested. He calmly told him off and said he better make it up to him for making him worry. Bakugo apologised once more before telling him he loved him and ending the call.

Denki grumbled as he and Sero left the apartment, as his advice went ignored and they finally made their separate ways home. Kirishima cleaned up his place and was surprised by the lack of communication from his agency. Only making the likelihood of an in person scolding higher, but he was happy knowing his boyfriend and friend were safe after such a crazy night. And tried to use the rest of the day productively, to put the apartment back to its tidy glory.

Bakugo let out the biggest sigh he possibly could, he sat on his bedroom floor in the space between his bed and wall with his phone plugged into the outlet. He had smashed the screen as he fumbled out of Deku's apartment in a hurry, ignoring his friend's calls of concern. Through all the cracks, all the incoming messages from his friends came in including the later ones from Deku. But he simply locked his phone, brought his knees up to his chest and held himself tightly into his body.

"What have I done, I crossed the line and ruined everything. How can I face anyone after this?" he thought to himself, memories of the night flooding in.

"My first boyfriend and I cheated? I never thought I would become such a scum bag but here I am! Kirishima deserves so much better than me, he is the kindest and most caring person in the whole world. And he deserves someone like that, and so does Deku they are both better off without me."

His self-loathing was interrupted by his phone vibrating again, he slammed his fist into his cheap nightstand behind him. Shattering the front draws and bloodying his fist, now he was both mentally and physically hurt. Feeling utterly defeated he checked his phone; it was from his boyfriend.

"If you feel better, can I come over tomo? I'll bring some snacks and we can hang out, but you better make me lunch :P How's 2pm?"

The silence was deafening, but he felt that cancelling was not an option after everything he had done. He agreed to the plan and used the rest of his day to mentally prepare himself and what to cook for his boyfriend. To set his story straight, and to generally figure out his life choices. He would get little sleep that night.

The next day he woke up early and got himself ready, wearing T-shirt and sweatpants for a chill day. He stopped off at the grocery store close to him to grab some food, he barely had enough for a meal. When he got home, he put his groceries away and promptly began preparing lunch. Kirishima's favourite foods always included meat, nothing he seemed to love anything that was meaty or the occasional sweet snack. Waiting on the rice cooker Bakugo prepared sliced pork with a soy sauce marinade, grilling it with various vegetables. As he finished cooking, he heard his front door open, and his boyfriend call out to him as he took off his shoes. Following the delicious smell Kirishima greeted him and kissed him on the cheek before resting his bag of convenience stores goods on the counter. There was little small talk as Bakugo plated up their meals and placed it on his small table, ushering his boyfriend to sit down. One bite and the red head was in heaven, but nothing could remove the tension in the air.

"Thank you for lunch Baku-bro this is awesome! You need to give me more of your cooking lessons" the red head smiled chowing down on his pork.

"Of course, what did you expect? Few get the pleasure of my cooking so eat up".

Bakugo ate his food at a much slower pace to his partner, the sounds of chewing filled the apartment, but it was still deafly quiet. Looking up from his meal, Kirishima could not help but notice his boyfriend's tense expression. He assumed he felt awkward and embarrassed from the previous night. He wanted to comfort Bakugo, he was not upset like before he was relieved, he tried giving him a smile to ease his mind. Looking up the blonde met his eyes and sighed.

"I can't believe my phone died what a pain, you had to go through all that because of me. I hate going to bars and clubs it always ends up like this, with stupid shit going down".

"True, good thing we don't go out that often, thanks to our work schedules. What did you and Deku get up to? Denki figured you got into a fight like the old days".

Bakugo's face changed, looking down at his meal to escape his boyfriend's gaze.

"Uh yeah, it's been a while I can't even remember why. Must have been feeling nostalgic, probably arguing over some something stupid like All Might".

As he spoke Kirishima reached over for his phone, but Bakugo flinched and stopped him.

"Oi what you up to?" Bakugo snapped.

"Woah I just wanted to see that nasty crack, it's all chill Baku-bro did that happen yesterday?" Eyes widened, Bakugo let go of his wrist.

"I…I'm sorry guess my reflexes kicked in. Yeah, smashed it outside the bar, it's going to suck to get fixed."

Kirishima slowly drew his hand back, utterly confused but he dropped the topic. The rest of his visit went ok, but he replaced some of his anxiety with new worries. They watched some TV and ate snacks after lunch, but Bakugo was much quieter than usual. Kirishima leant into him but he tensed up, so he decided not to stay too long and left after they finished a couple episodes of their favourite show. Lingering in the doorway as he put his shoes on, Bakugo stood by and watched. They simply said their goodbyes and he left; he was not sure what he was expecting. His boyfriend and been a lot more affectionate recently but this felt like a step back, he could not help but feel almost mournful. Hopefully, the new week will change things.
