Sunny

Willow flew next to Zoro as they rushed back to the pirate ship. Upon arriving Luffy dashed right out onto the beach and started throwing punches again. "Why is he doing that when he knows it won't work?"

"That's Luffy," Chopper said.

"You'll get use to him," Nami said. "We all have. More or less."

Willow huffed as the other pirates rushed forward. She wasn't going to get use to this. Or, at the very least, it was going to take a very long time. Keeping on Zoro's shoulder, she watched as the pirates rushed about. Some distracted the blob while Robin and Nami snuck around behind it. They threw the orbs. Rising in the air they collided. Black smoke poured out and onto the blob.

The blob released a bone chilling shriek as it shrunk in size. Then it was gone.

"Yeah! Take that!" Luffy said.

"He does know he did nothing, right?" Willow asked.

"Who cares? It's over now." Zoro eyed the ship. "Now I can have a drink."

Willow sighed. "I get the feeling I'm going to be hearing that a lot." Shaking her head, she flew around the Sunny. It was a nice ship. Big, if only to someone of her size.

"Hey, Robin," Usopp said as they loaded up. "Did that stone back in the temple say why that creature was created in the first place?"

"It was created to be a defense weapon," Robin said. "But they lost control of it when it mutated into being able to think for itself. They wanted to destroy it but the blob overtook the temple. They couldn't get back in. They had no choice but to abandon the island."

Willow turned away from the pirates as they kept talking. She watched as her home faded into the distance. This was it. Despite not wanting to be, she was a pirate. A Straw Hat pirate. She sunk down onto the railing.

"It's going to be okay, you know." Zoro came up to her.

"Maybe for you." Willow glanced at him. "Or were you forced from your home as well?"

"No." Zoro shook his head. "I wanted to leave my home so I could become the world's greatest swordsman. Though it wasn't my choice to become a pirate with Luffy."

"What do you mean?" Willow glanced up at him.

"I was paying off a debt for someone else. The navy strung me up without food and water. Long story short, that navy brat wasn't going to hold up his end of our deal. Luffy freed me and I agreed to join him."

"So you're a loyal idiot."

"Hey! Stop calling me that!"

Willow laughed. "At any rate... thanks. I feel a little better now. Maybe being with you pirates won't be all that bad."
