This is a one shot suggestion by Braxton54 about Brax having a teenage daughter.

"Why are you being so stubborn?" Brax stares at his brother.

"I'm doing the books now aren't I?" Kyle groans.

"Days after I first asked you to! You never used to be this slack." Brax says, just as his daughter walks in. "Soph, make sure you actually do well in school, if you don't, you'll end up like him." Brax says, pointing at Kyle.

"Hey, I finished school with great grades!" Kyle glares.

"Yet you're still living here long after Casey and Heath moved out. Actually, long after me and Rick started our own family." Brax says.

"When are you going to find yourself a girl?" Sophia asks.

"I had a girl." Kyle frowns.

"And you lost her to another guy." Sophia rolls her eyes. "Get over her already, she's clearly over you! If you need help setting a date up with someone, then just ask me. I'll happily send you on a blind date with someone."

"I am not being sent on a blind date by my 15 year old niece. I don't even want to think about who'd you even set me up with." Kyle dreads. "And anyway, I don't have time for a girlfriend when I'm being made to work double shifts all the time."

"As I've already told you, that's only while Ricky is away. You're off for a week when she gets back!" Brax shakes his head.

"Anyway, can I go to a party tonight?" Sophia asks her Dad.

"No. What did your Mum say?" Brax asks as he grabs the books from Kyle to see what he was actually doing to them, Kyle trying to grab them back as he knew his brother wouldn't be happy with the draft work he did.

"Mum said I have to ask you because you're in charge." Sophia says.

"Fine, then I say no. Your Mum is only in London for another 3 weeks, and I'm going to make sure nothing goes wrong in that time." Brax says, shaking his head at Kyle again.

"I haven't finished yet!" Kyle mutters, managing to get the books back to finish them off.

"Uncle Kyle said I could go, and he has before as well when you and Mum have been away." Sophia says, wanting to go to hang out with all of her friends.

"Don't bring me into this." Kyle mutters, not even daring to look other at his brother.

"Well I'm not your uncle Kyle, and he isn't your Dad." Brax glares at his brother. "Didn't you say you have a big project that you needed to do for school?"

"Yeah, but everyone I know is going to this party. I'll be seen as so lame for not going!" Sophia groans. "Uncle Kyle, tell him!"

"Is your boyfriend going to be there?" Kyle asks.

"Boyfriend?" Brax buts in. "Why is this the first I'm hearing about any boyfriend? Who the hell is he?"

"Great, thanks Kyle." Sophia stares at him.

As Kyle had always lived with them since before Sophia was born, they had a really close bond. It was also because Sophia was an only child, so Kyle was almost like a big brother to her at times which she loved. And when he annoyed her, she always treated him like a big brother as she knew she always got away with it more. It was times like this that she was going to treat him like an older brother, so he couldn't complain about her being annoyed with him.

"I thought you told them!" Kyle defends himself.

"I'm waiting for an answer and neither of you are leaving till I get them!" Brax warns them both, even though he knew Kyle wouldn't dob on his niece anymore than he already had.

"He's not even my boyfriend, we just hang out sometimes." Sophia shrugs.

"A name." Brax firmly says.

"Rory Chapman." Kyle mutters, only loud enough for Brax to hear.

"You're going out with a cops kid?" Brax scoffs. "I don't believe this!"

"And again, thanks Kyle!" Sophia glares, turning back to her Dad. "Like I've already said, we just hang out! Don't even think about going to confront him over this because I don't need you embarrassing me!"

"Don't you worry about what I'll be doing, now get and do your project for school. I want it done by tonight." Brax firmly says before turning to Kyle. "And you, get those books done properly, I've got more paperwork that I need you to do after that and I don't want it taking days like this."

"I've been busy. I'm doing them now aren't I?" Kyle shakes his head as he stands up.

"Where are you going, you haven't finished the books?" Brax asks.

"I'm going to finish them at Angelo's, get the other paperwork done, and then I'm going to get myself a girlfriend considering none of you think I can." Kyle huffs.

"We didn't say you can't get a girlfriend, we just said you can't keep them for long before they get bored." Sophia smirks.

"Which is pretty much the same thing." Brax smirks.

"No one likes it when you two team up like this. I'll be back later." Kyle shakes his head as he walks out.

"If I can get my project done now, can I go to the party?" Sophia asks.

"No, it's not happening. And I'll be checking on you all night, so don't even think about sneaking off. Now go and get that project finished." Brax orders.

"I won't go to this party and I'll get my project done on one condition." Sophia says.

"Which is?" Brax asks.

"You have to help me set Uncle Kyle up on a blind date." Sophia says.

"Okay, but only cause I don't need him being moody over that ex of his any longer. Who did you have in mind?" Brax asks her, getting a smirk in reply.

"So did I do great or what?" Sophia smirks as she watches Kyle on a date with her friends older sister, who was about Kyle's age.

"Yeah alright, you did good." Brax nods. "Now you and this Rory kid?"

"Ugh, I've already said we just hang out!" Sophia groans, not wanting to go into this with him. "I know you don't like him because his Mum is that cop who has arrested you a couple times, but you don't need to worry about you. Kat hasn't arrested you in years, so what's the problem with me being friends with her son?"

"I don't trust him."

"You don't trust anyone. And besides, you don't even know him. I think if you got to know him, you'd like him." Sophia says.

"How come Kyle knew about him and I didn't?" Brax asks.

"He caught me hanging out with Rory a couple weeks ago, but I swore him into silence." Sophia grins.

"With what?"

"Nothing you need to know about just yet."

"So he's really your boyfriend?" Brax asks.

"Fine, yes he is! But please don't go embarrassing me by giving him the good old 'Braxton warning'. Uncle Kyle already did that when he caught us out." Sophia rolls her eyes, just as Casey walks in to join them.

"Hey." He smiles as he sits down as the spare chair.

"Hey Uncle Casey." Sophia grins.

"What're you up to?" Casey asks, noticing that grin a mile off from all the times she'd played pranks on him. "You haven't put vinegar in my drink again, have you?" He asks, cautiously glancing into his drink that they got for him before he arrived.

"Nope, she's set Kyle up on a blind date with someone's sister." Brax says.

"And you allowed that to happen?" Casey scoffs as he glances over at them, seeing they did look like they got on well.

"He promised to help me as long as I got my school project finished and didn't go to a party tonight. So in a way you didn't have a choice, did you Dad?" Sophia smirks. "Anyway, is Uncle Heath coming tonight or is it just us? I'm starving now."

"He's running late but should be here soon." Casey says.

"No change there then." Sophia says. "So about that weekend you go away on with Mum next month, who am I staying with?" She asks Brax.

"There's no way you're staying with Kyle after today's big reveals. I'll see if Heath and Bianca will take you in." Brax says.

"What's Kyle done now?" Casey asks.

"Turns out he's been giving in to Sophia when me and Rick have been away, like that last party she went to. Oh, and he also knew that she's in a relationship with Kat's kid and didn't tell me." Brax says.

"And you let him get away with that as well?" Casey raises an eyebrow. "I would have been murdered if that was me."

"I didn't really have a choice, and anyway, Sophia's blackmailing him with something." Brax says.

"Like father like daughter." Casey laughs, just as Heath walks in to join them.

"Who's that with Kylie?" Heath asks.

"His date for the night. I thought it would be good for him to get back out there and find himself a girl who he can be happy with." Sophia says as he sits down.

"Is that a hint that you want him to move out?" Heath smirks.

"No, I like Uncle Kyle living with us. Don't you want him to be happy as well?" Sophia asks.

"I don't have to see him moody face everyday, so it wouldn't bother me." Heath shrugs.

"Real charming aren't you, Uncle Heath?" Sophia lightly glares. "You should want your brother to be happy and start his own family like the rest of you."

"You sounded just like Ricky then, that was uncomfortable." Heath mutters.

"She has a point." Brax shrugs. "Now let's order."

"I already know what I'm having. An extra meaty meat feast." Sophia grins.

After they all ordered, they stayed chatting most of the night. Kyle joined them after his date finished, and had already planned a second date with this girl, which didn't go without some teasing from his brothers and also Sophia. They went back to the Braxton house after that, Heath and Casey joining them to watch a footy game that was one.

"So what was that school project you had?" Casey asks.

"Are you seriously wanting me to bore you with the details of it?" Sophia laughs. "That's like me asking how your day at the gym was."

"Wow, you seriously went there again?" Casey scoffs.

"Yeah, I did." Sophia grins.

"Oi, you should be going to bed, it's getting late." Brax says as he walks over to join them.

"But it's the weekend and it's early for a weekend!" Sophia groans.

"I don't care. Now hand the remote over and go to bed." Brax orders.

"Nope. I've just seen that Titanic is on and you know that's my favourite movie. I texted Mum and she said it was okay for me to stay up and watch it." Sophia grins as she shows Brax the text.

"I am not watching that film again! Darcy and Bianca made me watch that the other week and it went on for hours!" Heath complains.

"Tough. You won't want to upset your favourite niece, would you?" Sophia asks. "And you told Auntie Bianca you were staying here tonight because you'd all been drinking, so what's it to be?"

"You're going to watch all the scariest horror movies I can find next time I'm in the bay." Heath glares.

"She's 15." Brax shakes his head.

"And she is bossy." Heath retorts. "I bet she always gets her own way with you, you've turned soft since having her."

"I have not." Brax glares, frowning at Sophia and his two youngest brothers who looked engrossed in the tv already, so he looked to see why. "Seriously, you two?"

"What?" Kyle and Casey ask in unison.

"We've already started it now, so we can't turn it off." Sophia shrugs. "Now can you please be quiet because we're missing the film."

Brax sighed as he sat down in the armchair, glancing at Heath, who now looked just as engrossed in the film as their brothers. He didn't know why he was surprised at the fact that they'd all sat down to watch a film instead of the footy, Sophia always got her own way with her uncles, and she always picked the films. Although he couldn't help but smile, he was glad to know that she'd always be looked after if he wasn't around for any reason, and he was grateful for that.
