This is a one shot suggestion by Braxtonboyzz123 about when Heath starts teasing Kyle about his job being easy, they start a bet about who can last a week working each other's jobs without complaining about the job. When it comes to swapping jobs back again, Kyle refuses, meaning Heath has to stay at Angelo's for a while longer. Only Casey knows the real reason as to why Kyle would prefer staying at the gym a little longer rather than swap back to working at Angelo's again.

"I am so glad that shift is over!" Kyle sighs with relief as he flops down on the couch besides Casey, who was scrolling through his phone.

"Like your job is hard! All you do is stand around looking pretty, maybe serving some customers when you feel like it. We actually do some real work in the gym, but you don't see us complaining about how tired we are." Heath shakes his head.

"Are you kidding me?" Kyle scoffs. "You wouldn't last a week working in Angelo's with customers being assholes when they're pissed at something, or even keeping the books up to date pretty much everyday. Oh, and then there's opening up early, or not leaving until gone midnight, even doing both on a double shift, which I've done multiple times lately. And then there's covering for staff who call in sick at the last minute, or staff not even turning up on time."

"Please! You're just making it sound a lot worse than it actually is. We do real work that is hard most days." Heath says.

"I never said your job wasn't hard, I was just saying I was glad to be home after another long double shift. You're the one who started going on about how my job apparently isn't hard." Kyle rolls his eyes.

"Cause it isn't." Heath mutters under his breath, although Kyle heard it.

"Fine, let's make a bet. We'll swap shifts for a whole week, and the first person to start complaining loses. If I lose, I'll be your slave for a whole week without complaining or refusing to do anything you ask me to. If you lose, I take the money earned from both of our shifts at the gym and Angelo's without you refusing to hand it over." Kyle says.

"I think that's a fair deal, you should take it." Casey says to Heath, who nods.

"Bet's on little bro. We start on Monday and it will end on Saturday." Heath says. "I'll go let the big fella know of the changes."

"You do that." Kyle smirks as Heath walks into the hallway to find his brother.

"What's that smirk for?" Casey asks Kyle.

"I'm so glad he decided on next week. I had three double shifts, a private party and three late shifts that I've been dreading after today. Looks like I was stressing over nothing." Kyle grins. "Heath doesn't know what he's let himself in for."

"Are you going to tell him about that or let him find out for himself?" Casey asks.

"I'm not telling him. And anyway, the bet's already on now. It's happening whether Heath wants it to or not." Kyle says as Heath walks back out from the hallway.

"It's all sorted. We swap on Monday. I'll have to go and order an extra small top for you, or will that be an extra, extra small?" Heath smirks.

"You're so funny. I'm a medium, you know that." Kyle mutters, blushing slightly.

He was now feeling self conscious again. He knew he wasn't as big as his brothers, they were all a large or extra large, and he always hated when they teased him about how small he was. He was now thinking about maybe thinking of working out a little in his breaks at the gym, or even before and after shifts. It would be the ideal time for him to do it without Heath being around to tease him, and Casey had never teased him a great deal about it either.

"You're going to find out what real work looks like now little bro. It's going to be so easy working at Angelo's!" Heath smiles to himself as he goes to sit in the armchair. "If you think you're tired now, just wait until you finish a shift at the gym."

"Alright Heath, you've made your point. Next week will prove who's job is really more tiring and harder, so let's just wait to see what happens. " Kyle rolls his eyes.

"Since this bet was your idea, if we both last the whole week, you still have to be my slave and I get both of our pay checks." Heath says smirking. "Or are you too scared Kylie."

"Hang on, that's not fair! What do I get out of this for lasting the whole week?" Kyle frowns.

"You get to be in my company, although you'll hate every second of it." Heath grins.

"I'm going to bed as some of us have to be up early tomorrow." Kyle glares.

"Aw Kylie, it's like you're actually tired from carrying plates and pizza boxes all day. You'll be in for a shock when you do real work like us." Heath laughs as Kyle walks off, not wanting to put up with anymore of his brother's teasing.

"Oi, what's this bet you and Heath have made?" Brax asks Kyle, just as he was about to go into his room.

"He was saying how my job isn't hard at all and I'm basically being pathetic when I come home tired. I thought it would be a good idea to make a bet and swap shifts for the week so he can see how hard my job really is. I'm hoping he'll bail out first and will stop all of his teasing and digs towards me. You don't need to worry, I know exactly what I'm doing." Kyle quickly explains.

"Yeah, I think I do. Don't you have a few double shifts as well as the private party this week?" Brax smirks.

"And three late shifts." Kyle grins. "Don't worry, I'll still be on hand if you need me to do anything, but I won't be helping Heath out. I want him to realise how hard my job is compared to his, and this is the only way I can do that."

"Alright. What's in it for the winner?" Brax asks.

"If I win, I take all the wages earned by both of us during the week and if Heath wins, I have to be his slave for a whole week." Kyle replies.

"Okay, well I'll make sure Heath does hand his wages over if he starts arguing against it. Just don't decide you want to keep your job at the gym, I can't handle Heath being the new manager permanently." Brax laughs.

He knew Kyle's job was hard, and he worked way more than he should, but Kyle never complained about it. He tried to help out as much as he could, but he also has to keep on top of other things around Angelo's so nothing goes wrong. Ricky also helps Kyle whenever she's on shift, and also a couple times when she's been off shift. Despite all the hard work, Kyle wouldn't change his managerial position for anything.

It was now Monday morning and Heath was fitting in as much teasing as he could before he had to go up to Angelo's for the start of his shift. He'd teased Kyle more about being small, and Kyle ended up snapping back at him. Heath was sure he had it in the bag after that, wondering how long into the shift it would be before Kyle fully bailed and ended the bet between them. Casey managed to get rid of him after that so he could give Kyle an induction of the gym before they had to properly start their jobs as well.

"So what's the policy of working out during a shift?" Kyle asks as he wipes the equipment down before more people start arriving.

"Don't listen to Heath. Believe it or not, he used to be way smaller than you at our age. It's taken him years to get to the point where he is now and he only did it to start impressing girls. That's not something you have a problem with." Casey says, slyly glancing at the girl on the treadmill, who was checking Kyle out. "She's called Katie by the way, and she's single."

"Isn't it against the rules to date clients?" Kyle frowns, although he did think she was hot.

"Technically you're not an employee, you're more of a temp until this stupid bet is over. And Katie's been coming here for over a year now, so I'm giving a helping hand." Casey says. "What even made you decide on having a bet?"

"I just want to prove to Heath that my job is a lot harder than what he's got here. He doesn't understand how much it gets in the way of my life, or what I have to sacrifice for it. I know I didn't have to take on the job of a manager, but I chose to. I'm hoping this will prove a point and he'll stop being so hard on me for it." Kyle explains.

"You know he doesn't tease you in a bad way, it's just his way of having some fun." Casey says, knowing Heath took it way too far sometimes.

"I know." Kyle lightly nods. "And at least I can prove that my job is harder. All Heath does is supervise things around here and maybe fold some towels if he feels like it. It's hardly a back breaking job is it?"

"Don't let Heath hear you say that." Casey scoffs. "And you don't need to worry about doing any of that this week, Spencer's agreed to cover most of Heath's jobs, so all you have to do is supervise this place and manage new memberships."

"Sweet, sounds pretty easy." Kyle smiles.

"That's cause it is. Heath likes to think this job is harder than yours, but we all know it isn't." Casey says. "Anyway I've got a boxing class to set up for. If you need a hand with anything up here, then Spencer will be around to help. He let me know that he was starting a little later, so you've only got to man this place for about an hour."

"Okay, I've got it covered." Kyle says, his eyes finding their way back to Katie, who smiled at him.

"Well I'll leave you to it then. Just make sure to get some work done." Casey laughs as he shakes his head, noticing Kyle was drawn to her.

"Yeah." Kyle mutters, smiling back at Katie before turning to Casey. "Go do the boxing class, I'll be fine up here." He says, shoving Casey towards the door.

"Are you trying to get rid of me?" Casey scoffs.

"So what if I am?" Kyle asks. "I'm basically a manager considering I swapped with Heath, so you have to listen to me."

"I'm your boss while you're down here, don't forget that." Casey says.

"Can you just go already?" Kyle groans.

"Don't do anything that will affect Katie's membership. She's been coming here way before we took over and she's managed to pull in more business for us through her friends." Casey warns.

"So is she a client or a business partner?" Kyle jokes.

"She may as well be a business partner at this point. Now I've really got to go, don't mess anything up while I'm gone." Casey says as he grabs the boxing gear before walking out of the gym.

Four days into the job swap, things had been going well for Kyle. He'd been talking to Katie a lot more and they'd even gone on a date at the diner which made them like each other even more. Although he had started to panic about whether Heath really was going to win this bet as he'd been gloating about how well he was doing in Angelo's. Casey was sure he was doing it to wind Kyle up, and it was working.

For Heath on the other hand, things hadn't been going well as he was making out. He was trying to stay at Angelo's for longer so he could win the bet, but he was struggling with the thought of that. He'd never paid any attention when Kyle would come home complaining about arrogant customers trying to blag free meals, or people trying to get alcohol with no ID. Now he wishes he hadn't agreed to the bet knowing he was going to lose at this point.

"Come on, let's just swap back now and forget about this stupid bet!" Heath groans, blocking Kyle from doing any work.

"Nope, we agreed to do it for the entire week. That's unless you're willing to admit that you've lost?" Kyle asks, glancing at Casey, who watches on to see what happens.

"Seriously, Kyle! Just swap back with me and I won't tease you again!" Heath shouts. "It's not that hard to forget you made this stupid bet up!"

"Calm down, you're acting like a real loser now." Kyle smirks. "Hey Case, I'll finish the tasks you gave me then I'm going to see Brax about transferring Heath's wages over to me. How about we go on a night out, Heath's paying after all."

"That sounds like a plan." Casey nods. "And about those shifts you asked for next week, you still want them?" He asks, knowing it would annoy Heath even more knowing that Kyle was willing to stay on for longer.

"Yeah, I'm not going back to Angelo's for at least the next week. I spoke to Brax about it last night and he'd said it would be fine for me to work here longer if it's what I wanted." Kyle says, trying not to laugh.

"Why are you being such a dick?" Heath glares. "You've won, alright? Big deal! Now let's swap back so we can get on with our jobs."

"Nah, I'm good here." Kyle says, glancing at Katie, who just walked in for a workout.

"I wonder why." Casey mutters to himself as he follows Kyle's gaze.

"I am not working at Angelo's any longer!" Heath snaps, wrestling Kyle to the ground with a thud.

"Can you two not do that here? I do have clients that don't need to hear you two fighting again!" Casey groans, getting enough of this at home, he didn't want it at work as well.

"Tough." Heath shakes his head, staring down at Kyle.

"Do you fight everyone to the ground when they don't give into you?" Kyle asks, getting a hard punch in the arm. "Ow, Heath! Can you get off already?" He complains, not wanting to end up injured.

"Not until you learn some respect! I admitted that you won, and was willing to end this bet here and now, but you wouldn't listen. Instead you treat me like some moron who has to work in Angelo's longer. You're smaller than me little bro, so you need to respect me." Heath hisses.

"Maybe if you treated me with respect, I'd consider swapping jobs back. But you didn't, that's why I'm getting a bonus in my paycheck and you're not." Kyle grins, getting another punch in the arm, but this time was even harder and right in the same spot.

"Ow!" Kyle groans, knowing it was going to leave a pretty big bruise, luckily Brax walked in and saw what was happening.

"Heath, get off him!" Brax scowls, pulling Heath off their younger brother by the back of his shirt. "What're you playing at?"

"He won't give me my job back and was disrespecting me, so I was putting him in his place. They haven't stopped teasing me about this stupid bet!" Heath yells.

"You only think this bet is stupid because you lost. My job is so much easier." Kyle smirks. "You're just being such a sore loser!"

"You-" Heath starts, Brax cutting him off.

"You've got more than enough nicknames for them. You're always ordering Kyle around, laughing at him for no reason and teasing him every chance you get, don't even get me started on when you wrestle him. It's funny that as soon as you're on that side of it, you snap and beat him up." Brax glares at him, not impressed he was needing to deal with this.

"It was just a couple punches in the arm! I didn't actually put him in an arm lock this time."

"Only because I got here before you could. You broke his arm the last time you put him in an arm lock!" Brax shakes his head.

"Fine! I'll try to be less physical with Kylie!" Heath huffs, about to walk out when Kyle stops him.

"Hey Heath, we'll swap back on Monday. Until then, you're stuck at Angelo's. And maybe I'll agree to not mention you being a sore loser as much as you would if it was me." Kyle grins.

"You won't get away with this." Heath hisses.

"Yes he will, and if you even think about touching him, you'll have me to deal with." Brax warns. "Now get back to work, your shift doesn't end for another 5 hours."

"Fine! But as of Monday I am back here!" Heath huffs as he storms out, leaving his brothers to smirk at each other while Kyle rubs his arm.

"Why are you so keen to work here longer?" Brax asks his brother.

"No reason." Kyle smiles, walking over to Katie.

"He's in love." Casey laughs, knowing Kyle would see just as much of Katie when he goes back to Angelo's, as he'd heard them talking about it a couple times. This was the start of something new for them, and he liked to think he had something to do with it.
