Harry went up to his dorm, getting the picture out of his pocket, smiling at it before putting inside his nightstand, planning to ask Hermione the lock spell. Looking over at the clock he noticed it was time for dinner soon, getting ready by combing his hair, straightening his tie.
In the Great Hall, there was quite a commotion going on, everyone's eyes were at the staff table. Harry sat next to Ron and Hermione, gapping. Mr. Flickwick was on his chair. Revealing his secrets to the whole school, 'What?' Harry wondered. Everyone in the castle was spooked by the elf. Including Snape and Professor Quill. Getting creeped out by him. He usually is a quiet elf, speaking only a few words at a time. This was unusual for the teacher. Harry realized what happened, turning to the twins, "You gave it to the wrong one," he whispers harshly to them.
"Sorry about that, but at least it is still entertaining."
"It is not entertaining," Harry looks back at the staff table, "this is just sad. Do you have anything that can stop it?" Fred showed him a liquid bottle, that had the antidote in it. Harry snatches it and walks over to the hallway doors. Running over to the staff door, slowly opening it, trying to get Snape's attention. He was close by, just in case he needs to escape again. Harry waves in his direction. Mr. Quill noticed him, looking over at Snape, giving the hint. Severus' eyes meet green, confused. Going over to him, Harry waits outside in the hall, "Potter?" he did not know why he was getting his attention. The Golden Boy held up the bottle, "what is this?"
"I am sorry, I will explain everything tonight during our detention. Just give this to Mr. Flickwick," he puts it in one of his hands, before running to the front doors. Leaving Snape to ponder, looking down at the antidote. Realizing what it was for, going back to the staff table.
Harry watches as Severus heads over to Mr. Flickwick with the drops, whispering something, then opening the bottle, holding his head back, dripping three drops. Harry watches the elf swallow. Feeling relieved, looking over at the twins. That is the last time he will get their help.
Harry headed down to the dungeons, wondering how to explain what just happened. Knowing that his house will probably get in trouble. Stepping off the spiral staircase. Going straight to the office. Snape was waiting for him on the other side of the door. Opening when he heard his footsteps, "Well, Mr. Potter, I am very curious on what happened one of our teachers," Harry walked inside, sitting on the sofa, "well, explain I am waiting," he taps his foot on the concrete floor.
Potter looked away, "It was my fault Professor."
"You slipped him something?" Snape was shocked at that.
"No…not me. It was someone else from the house. It was my fault to not stop it though," Harry looked at his hands, "the truth is…we were wanting it on someone else at the staff table," Snape pointed at himself, "No not you. It was Professor Quill ok?" Severus gapped at him, not thinking they would catch up to Mr. Quill, "we have a feeling that Mr. Quill is up to something, we just don't know what yet," he watches his teacher, looking at his feet, "What's wrong Professor?"
"If he is up to something…I can handle it."
Harry was surprised at that, "You mean you all this time you knew?"
Snape sighs, not knowing if he should say. Though if he does not, it might end bad for the rest of the staffs. Seeing they drugged one which should be punished by house points. "I am going to tell something, "He sits down next to Harry, "Quill is up to something…" Potter knew it, wanting to tell the headmaster. Snape was against it though, "no need to bother the headmaster with that. I got it under control."
Harry looked down at his leg, "The night when you got bitten…you were stopping him weren't you?" he gets up from the sofa, "Don't you see how dangerous he is? You could have been killed that night!" Harry turns away from him, "And you just want to blow it off like it was nothing."
Snape grabs his shoulder, getting him to look at him, "I was able to fight off the dog, wasn't I? I can handle him Potter. Now I will take point deduction off your house. For drugging a teacher."
Harry sighs at that, "Can you just give me detention instead?" Severus thought about this, "please don't blame the entire house for this. It was my doing, mine alone."
Severus was surprised at this, knowing it was not Harry doing something as cruel as that, it was someone else in his house, thinking about the twins, 'They must have been behind it?' he inwardly sighed, "Very well Potter, detention with me for another month."
Harry sighed, knowing he should not have taken the fall for the twins' mistake, but they have parents, and he does not. The Dursleys would care less about his actions. Especially in the wizard world.
He headed upstairs, to the dorms. Seeing Ron was not here, knowing he is with Severus now. Flopping down on the bed. After telling his teacher, what happened during dinner, Severus got him to work. First cleaning cauldrons, the dungeon bathroom and then cleaning the spiral staircase. Still, he is grateful that the head mistress does not know about them sneaking around at night.
It was time to get ready for bed as Harry runs over to the bathroom, having his PJs in one hand and toothbrush in the other.
