Snape catches his breath while making to the Gryffindor floor. He needs to get back into shape soon, knowing he gained a few pounds while being here. He stood in front of the Fat Lady. She asked for the password. Which the wizard knew, since Albus told him, just in case he needed to get in for Harry.

He peeked in the Gryffindor living room, looking over at the fireplace. He remembered this place when Lily was around, being able sneak in here thanks to her. He heard footsteps coming from the stairs, "What are doing here Professor?" he turned to the Golden Boy, his face shocked at seeing him here.

"You were not in my class, so I decided to look for you?"

"Didn't Ron tell you that I am not coming anymore?" he was about to go back to his dorm, when Snape paces over, stopping him, "what do you want Professor?" Harry looked away from him, wanting to hide back under the covers.

"Potter, look at me?" Harry shook his head, Snape got impatient, forcing him to look up at him, "you cannot just not show up to class, it can get points deducted from your house. Not to mention the headmaster would not be to pleased, if you didn't show."

Harry pulled away from his grasp, "Is that all you came to say sir?" looking down at the floor, "you hurt me Professor, more than anyone in the world," he closes his eyes, not wanting him to see the pain behind them. About to walk back to the dorm.

"Damn it Potter!" he shoves him inside the room, shutting the door behind, not meaning to cuss at the child, "what do you want me to say!" Harry sat on his bed, listen, "Do you want to be your mother for me? Is that it! To replace to her?"

Harry shook his head, having just about enough of this. Standing up, moving towards him, "Snape just sit down on the bed and listen to what I have to say?"

Severus looked over at the clock, knowing he had go back to his students. Inwardly sighing, sitting down, crossing his arms, "You have my attention Potter?"

Harry breathed in, letting it out before saying the thing, he wanted to say for a while, but knowing it is going to upset his teacher, "Professor, I know for a while now that you were friends with my mother, perhaps even more?" Snape looked away from him, looking at the floor, "she was quite important to you, wasn't she?"

"Of course, she was Potter…she was my friend," he focused on his hands, looking to see if any of his nails had dirt on them.

Harry sat next to him, "Not just a friend, but a person you loved right?" Severus gapped at him, wondering why he would think that "I know these things Professor. There was a heart next to her name on the back of the picture," Harry said a spell on his nightstand, getting the photo out, showing the heart. Snape looked over at it, grabbing it, looking at them being kids. He covered his face with hands, not wanting to show this child, the emotions he was feeling.

Harry puts his arms around him, "It is ok Professor Snape," Severus wanted to push Potter away, but did not have the strength to. Harry removes his hands; hidden emotions were lingering. He puts his arms around his teacher, "I know it is painful sir," he strokes the back of his head.

"I loved your mother, Potter…she saw me as friend though…"

"Were you wanting more?" he nodded, looking away from Potter's eyes. Harry looked over at the clock, "Won't your class be wondering where you are?"

Snape shook his head, "Not to worry about that Potter. I simply told them I was seeing Albus." Harry nodded, letting go of his head, "Will I see you in my class from now on?"

Harry thought about this, thinking, "Will you just think of me as a student still?" Severus gapped at that, looking away, "what I have been noticing, is you do not think of me as just a student. If you really thought that way, you would not have come all the way up here. Instead, you would have talked to Dumbledore about my absence." There was commotion downstairs, Harry gasped at that, hearing voices. Looking over at Snape who seemed to panic, not wanting them to know he is up here, "quick hide!" he told him to lay flat on the bed, as he covered him up by a blanket, then shutting the curtains around his teacher. Right on time too, as students filed in, Harry looked over at the clock, 'Is it that time already?' Snape was up here for quite awhile now.

Ron and Seamus came up here, seeing Harry near his bed, "Hey Harry?" Ron said, "feeling better?"

"I am Ron," he smiled, "I am coming back to class after all."

"Good then I don't have to be alone dealing with Professor Snape," Ron smiled at that, "Speaking of Snape, he just left the class and never came back, so in his absence we just had a blast," Harry gapped at that, happy that his friends were enjoying themselves. "Only Hermione obeyed Snape, continuing to do her work."

Harry looked over at his bed, knowing his teacher will not be pleased with this news. He looked back at Ron, "Sorry I missed it," he smiled. Ron nodded, going to the bathroom. Seamus walked back downstairs.

Harry looked at the bed, taking the sheets off, he did not seemed pleased with his students right now, "What did you expect when you left them?" Snape looked up at him, sitting up, "lets talk more during detention?" Harry heard the toilet flush, "here I will provide a diversion, so you can sneak out," he geared Snape over to the stairs, letting him to wait in the corner.

Harry went down to the living room, getting everyone's attention. Asking about their day and what they would want to eat for dinner tonight. What spells they have learned so far. Snape was able to sneak past them without much effort, thanks to James Potter's son.
