Z
It was now time for "Night of Champions" and Mike was putting his US title on the line. He's been feuding with Daniel Bryan for a few weeks since they had a rough past from season one of NXT. Honestly, I never really liked Daniel. He never listened to what Mike told him and that is why he was eliminated when he was.
I was currently in the bathroom getting ready for the show. I didn't have a match but I was going in support of Mike. Looking in the mirror as I ran my hands down my pink shine bright sequin mini dress that laced in the back. The dress made my boobs pop and I smirked to myself. I just got done curling my hair and pulling it into a clip. I started on my makeup to match my dress before I walked out to get my heels that matched my dress.
"Absolutely gorgeous." Mike says as I walk past him on my way to the bed.
"Why thank you." I giggle as I lean down to put my shoes on. Looking up, I see Mike in a black sheer suit with a pink and black plaid type tie on. "Looking good yourself." I bit my lip as I look at him.
"I think you have me beat tonight." He smirks as he walk over.
"Mike..." I started, seeing that look in his eyes. "...we have a show to go to..."
"It can wait." He took my hands and pulled me to my feet. "I want to enjoy this view right now." He looks down at me.
"Miiike." I blush, trying to hide my face.
"No hiding." He lifts my chin. "I want to see that beautiful face of yours."
"Miiike." I blush more.
"Gorgeous." He leans down, giving me a soft kiss.
I close my eyes and rest my hands on his chest, sighing in content. I love these moments we shared. He made me feel like the only girl in the world and it was the best feeling ever. I never wanted it to end. Hearing a knock at the door, he pulled away from my lips as I groaned.
"I believe that's your brother." Mike chuckled.
"He can wait." I said breathless as I was lost in the moment.
"Bina, Mike!" Kevin called, knocking on the door again.
"Ugh." I groaned and rolled my eyes.
I stepped away from Mike and went over to the door opening it so Kevin and Shauna could come in. I walked form the door and over to the bed to grab my purse for the night. As I turned around, I saw Kevin looking at me shocked.
"What?" I shrugged nonchalantly.
"I think you should change..."
"You don't approve?"
"Nope. " He shook his head. "Not at all."
"Good." I grinned. "We can go now." I started to walk to the door.
I opened the door and took Shauna by the hand as we walked ahead of Mike and Kevin.
"Damn girl." Shauna said in shock. "Looking hot tonight." She grinned.
"Oh I know. We were almost late." I smirked.
"Ooohhh."
"I'm surprised you were both on time." I mention seeing her short sequin royal blue.
"We almost weren't either."
"Damn girl." I look over my shoulder to see Mike and Kevin behind us. "I see why too." I laugh since he was wearing the black jeans she likes and a loose fitting white button down shirt.
"Can't help it." She bit her lip. "He knows how to get to me."
"You do the same to him too." I grin just as we reach the elevator.
Just then, Mike and Kevin catch up to us. When the doors open, we try to rush in before them but we were not fast enough. The catch us and wrap their arms around our waist as we take the slow ride down. Being the good friend Shauna is, she kept Kevin distracted so Mike and I could have our moment. When the doors opened, he stepped out and headed through the lobby out to the parking lot. We got in the car while Mike and Kevin put their things in the trunk. They then got in the car and we started to head for the arena. The whole ride there, Shauna kept Kevin busy while Mike rested his hand on my thigh. I rested my hand on his as he kept glancing over at me. I looked out the window as we pulled up to the arena seeing all the other people starting to arrive. Mike finds a spot and parks the car. We all get out as Mike and Kevin go get their things out of the trunk. Shauna and I stand by the front of the car as I look around nervously.
"Don't worry." Shauna say lowly to me. "You'll be fine."
"I don't know..." I look around as I bite my lip. "...I just have that feeling again."
"It's been a few weeks and we haven't seen him at all."
"That's what I'm worried about. I have a feeling he's planning something..."
"He's not going to come near you anymore. You're back with us and we will not let anything happen to you." She puts her arm over my shoulder. Just then we hear the sound of the trunk closing.
"Please don't say anything." I give her a pleading look.
"Not a word." She moves her fingers over her lips, zipping them closed.
"Ready ladies."
Shauna links arms with Kevin while Mike puts his arm over my shoulder. We walk into the arena and down the halls on our way to Mike's locker room. Looking over to catering I see them. Justin and Heath as they stare at us as we walk by. I move closer to Mike, not letting him know who I saw. Once we arrive at the locker room, we walk in and Shauna and I go sit on the couch while Mike goes to get ready for his match later.
"Relax." Shauna tried to calm me down.
"I can't." I bite my lip. "I tried everything to avoid them yet somehow they knew where we would be tonight."
"Nothing is going to happen. We are not leaving this room tonight."
"I don't plan on it." I lean against the back of the couch. "I just wish he would move on and forget all about me." I start to shake.
"Come here." She pulls me into a hug. "We got you."
Mike then walks out in his attire and I bite my lip, all my feeling and thoughts fading away.
"That's one way to forget it." Shauna laughed.
"Shhh." I nudged her playfully.
Mike then walks over and sits next to me and I lean into him as his arm goes over my shoulder. Kevin sits next to Shauna as we wait for the show to start.
The show starts off like any other with a video package runs highlight tonight as an historic night where all WWE championship belts will be defended. We then see the video package focus on Sheamus defending the WWE Championship in a Six Pack Elimination Challenge and Kane vs. The Undertaker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. A graphic opening hits welcoming us to WWE Night of Champions. We go live to the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois where a huge display of pyro goes off in the entrance area of the stage. Michael Cole is the first to welcome us to the show and introduces Jerry "The King" Lawler and Matt Striker. Excuse me! Vickie Guerrero is on her way out with her NXT rookie Kaitlyn. She introduces the reigning and defending WWE Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler.
"God she is so annoying." I roll my eyes at the sound of her voice.
We sit there and watch the match between Dolph and Kofi. It was a good match, but in the end Dolph ended up retaining the title.
"As much as I don't like her, that was really cold of them to say about her."
"It was, but that is just how they are."
They show Edge warming up for his match later and Todd Grrisham asks about his strategy for the match.
The next match was with Punk and Big Show. Since I knew Mike's match was next, I didn't really pay attention since my anxiety was starts to eat away at me. When the match was coming to a close, Mike and Kevin stood up to head out for his match.
"I'll be right back." Mike kissed me quick.
"Kick that nerds ass." I grin.
"I plan on it." He smirks as he and Alex leave the room.
Shauna locks the door once they are out and comes back to sit with me on the couch. We sit there and watch as a video package runs highlighting the events between Mike and Daniel Bryan starting during the season season of NXT followed by his return to WWE last month at Summerslam.
"I really can't stand him." I scoff, crossing my arms.
"You and me both." Shauna adds as we sit there are we wait for Mike's match to start.
Wade
Knowing she was here and most likely alone, I smirked evilly. These past few weeks I've been laying low waiting for this to happen. I knew it would be a matter of time before he would leave her alone since he thought I forgot about her. That is exactly what I wanted them to think. Well, tonight is the night. I'm going to get her and bring her back to me where she belongs.
"Justin! Heath!"
"Yes Wade."
"You're sure you saw her."
"I'm sure. Who can miss her in that dress she is wearing?"
"Dress?" My interest became peeked. "Do tell."
"It's a tight pink dress and makes everything about her stand out." Heath grinned.
"You looking at my girl?!"
"No man." He backed up. "Like I said, who can miss her?"
"And his match. When is that?"
"Right after Show and Punk."
"Perfect. We make our move then." I grinned as I rubbed my hands together.
"You sure she'll be alone?" Justin questioned.
"Other than that other girl, yes, they will both be alone. Our plan worked."
Turning to the TV I see the video package of him and Bryan being aired signaling his match is coming up. Knowing he would be making his way to the ring, I head for the door and set out to my girl back with Justin and Heath right behind me.
Z
We watch as Mike and Kevin head to the ring. God I love everything about him and his character. He had so much confidence and I love that about him. I knew he was going to win tonight and go on to cash in his "Money in the Bank" contract and have both titles. Once they were in the ring, Daniel's music hit and he made his way to the ring. When he was in the ring, the ref held up the title and handed it off before signaling for the bell.
Daniel Bryan goes in for a few takedowns and Mike avoids Bryan. Bryan attempts his LeBell Lock early on and Mike bails to the outside.
"Haha! To early!" I laugh.
Mike drops Bryan's arm off the top rope and goes to work on his left arm. Mike sends Bryan shoulder first with his left arm into the corner. Mike with a quick back suplex on Bryan. Mike pulls back the arms of Bryan and then drops down driving his knees into his back. Bryan counters into a backslide for a nearfall. Mike responds immediately with a boot to Bryan's left shoulder. Kevin gets in a quick cheap shot.
"That's my man!" Shauna cheers.
Mike continues to work over the left shoulder of Bryan. Mike with a snap armbar drop on Bryan. Bryan attempts a comeback with big elbows to Mike, but Mike comes back with a boot to Bryan's shoulder. Mike charges, Bryan tosses him out, hits the ropes and hits a huge suicide dive on Mike falling into the announcer's table similar to his NXT match with Chris Jericho. Bryan with a huge missile dropkick on Mike off the top rope. Bryan with a kick to the face and Mike gets a shoulder up after two. Bryan with a jumping kick to the face of Mike for another nearfall. Bryan with some stiff kicks to Mike in the corner followed by a big dropkick in the corner to the chest of Mike. Bryan with a stiff kick to the head of Miie and another close two count. Bryan has Mike up on the top rope. Mike crotches Bryan on the rope and clotheslines Bryan with force off the top rope. Mike hooks the leg and Bryan kicks out. Mike drops his knee over the back of Bryan's neck and pulls back on his left arm working on the shoulder. Mike attempts the Skull Crushing Finale. Miz counters into a rollup for a close two count. Mike counters LeBell Lock attempts when Riley jumps up on the ring apron. Mike takes him out by accident. Bryan rolls up Mike and gets another close two count. Mike tosses Bryan to the outside. Bryan dodges an attack from Kevin and Kevin hits the steel ring post.
"Ouch!" We cringe.
Mike with a small package on Bryan and gets a nearfall. Mike mounts Bryan and drops some big left hands. Mike gets in the referee's face. Bryan drops Mike and locks in the LeBell Lock. Mike is reaching out for the ropes. Mike hangs in as Bryan locks in the LeBell Lock even more.
"No no no!" I scream as Mike taps. "Damn it!" I throw my hands up.
We sit there in shock that that nerd took the title from Mike. As the cameras fade and go to the next segment, there was a knock at the door. We both looked at each other since Mike and Kevin were still in the ring.
"Z!" I heard. "It's Gail."
"I'll get it." I say as I stand up from the couch and walk over.
I unlock the door and slowly open it, not seeing Gail anywhere.
"Gail?" I look out the door for her.
"Hello love." I hear the sound of Wade's voice and try to close the door, him stopping it with his foot.
"Z!" I hear Shauna call.
"Leave me alone!" I scream, trying to push the door closed.
Shauna runs over, trying to help me close the door. I hear Wade laugh evilly from the other side as he pushes the door open and Shauna and I fall back into the locker room.
"Miss me?" I look to see Wade smirking as he, Justin, and Heath walk in and close the door behind them.
"No!" I spit, moving back as I try to get up. "Run!" I yell to Shauna as we take off for the bathroom in the room.
Shauna makes it inside only for Wade to grab my arm and stop me from going in.
"Z!" Shauna calls in fear.
"Go!" I yell to her. "Lock the door!" I pray they don't do anything to her.
I hear Heath and Justin trying to get the door open and panic sets in.
"Leave her alone!" I cry. "Do what you want to me, just leave her alone!" I plead.
"Oh I will." Wade hisses as he hold my forearm tightly. "Let's go." He barks as he starts to pull me to the door.
I can hear Shauna calling for me from the bathroom and I break down since there was nothing I could do in this moment. Wade gets me to the door and Heath makes sure the coast was clear before I was dragged out of the locker room and pulled down the hall away from the direction Mike would be coming from. Tears began to fall from my eyes as I was once again back in his grasp.
Shauna
Seeing him as he walked through the door, fear and panic came over me. I could not let him take her again. Watching as Justin and Heath appeared behind him, I knew there was nothing I could do. I stood up, grabbing Z's hand as we ran for the bathroom. As I go in, I felt her hand leave mine and saw he had her once again.
"Go!" She yells to me. "Lock the door!" As much as I didn't want to, I did what she wanted. I knew she was trying to protect me like she always did. Just then I hear Heath and Justin trying to get the door open and panic sets in.
"Leave her alone!" I hear Z cry. "Do what you want to me, just leave her alone!" She pleads. I bite my lip at the fact she is willing to go through that for me. Tears start to fall to my eyes as I slowly go to my knees.
"Oh I will." I hear Wade hiss as he leads her farther away. "Let's go." I hear him bark and their voices get more distant.
I sit there and shift so I can bring my knees to my chest. I put my head on my knees and cry, wishing there was something more I could have done.
"Z!" I hear Mike call.
"Shauna!" I hear Kevin call and I can sense the panic in their voices.
I get up from the floor and open the door and run right to Kevin's arms as I cry into his chest.
"Where is Bina?" Kevin asks as he holds me in his arms.
"He took her!" I sob into his chest.
"When?" Mike panics.
"Just now. I have no idea where they went."
"You stay here, I'll go find her." Mike said as he rushed out of the locker room to find Z.
Z
Feeling the pressure on my arm, I struggled as I refused to go back with him. He was going so fast down the hall that I stepped out of my shoes.
"Let me go!" I shouted, trying to pull my arm away.
"Shut up!" He hissed, yanking me next to him. "You will behave this time." He put his arm over my shoulder, holding me tightly.
"I will not!" I wiggled against his hold.
"You will or you will suffer even greater consequences then last time." He growls, so determined.
I begin to tremble at the thought of things being worse then they were before. As we walk, I look around for anyone that could help. Just as we were at their locker room, I heard the voice or Ted and Randy. I felt Wade tense and I took the chance to stomp down on his foot as hard as I could. He let go of me and I took off in the direction of their voices, hearing footsteps close behind me.
"Randy! Ted!" I called as I ran down the hall. "Randy!" I yelled as desperation set in as I felt Justin and Heath gaining on me.
"Ted!" I called when I turned the corner and saw them.
"Zabrina?!" They looked at me shocked as I ran behind them and hit.
"Help me!" I pleaded as I began to cry.
Just then Heath and Justin turned the corner and saw me with Ted and Randy. Ted took me and moved me back away from them as Randy stood between us.
"Back off!" I heard Randy shout at them.
Looking over my shoulder, I saw Randy staring them down just as Wade came around the corner. I turned back around and hid in Ted's side as we walked farther down the hall.
"Let's get you back to Mike."
"Thank you Ted." I sniffed as I wiped the tears from my eyes.
We kept walking down the hall, circling back around so we could go to Mike's locker room. As we were walking, Randy joined us again along with Chris. Even though Mike had a feud with Randy they were good friends. Ted and I became friends back in developmental and I met Chris through Mike since they were good friends as well. If it wasn't for my injury, I would have came up with Ted. We were billed as a couple back then and were a hot item at the time. Just as we were about to reach Mike's locker room, I hear my name.
"Brina?!" I heard Mike's voice.
I looked up at Ted and gave him a friendly hug before leaving him and running to Mike. I ran right to Mike's arms as he wrapped his around me and held me tightly.
"Oh thank god." He sighed in relief.
"You can thank Ted, Randy, and Chris." I mumbled in his chest.
"Thank you guys. I owe you all."
"Just take care of our girl, alright." Ted patted Mike's shoulder.
I felt Mike nod as they walked back off since they still had things to do for the show. Mike held me in his arms, running his hands over my hair as I started to calm down.
"Let's get you back. Kevin is worried." He moved to look at me.
He shifted so his arm was over my shoulder and I kept my arms around him as we walked. Since we were not that far now, we made it back quickly. Once we walked in, Kevin rushed over.
"Thank god Bina." Kevin pulled me into a hug as I sobbed into his chest.
"I just want to leave." I cried.
"We're done for the night. I'll go change and we can leave." Mike said as he walked over and put his hand on my back.
I nodded as my head was still on Kevin's chest as Mike went to go change.
"Shauna!" I look up, remember she was in the bathroom I last saw here.
"Over here." I heard her say.
I moved from Kevin's arms and ran over to her, hugging her tightly as we both cried.
"I'm so sorry." She cried.
"Don't be. I was not going to let anything happen to you too."
"Still." She pulled away from me. "I should have done something." She sniffed.
"There was nothing you could have done. It was either me or both of us and I was not going to let you go through that."
"Still..." She bit her lip. "...you were willing to go through all that just for me."
"In a heartbeat. You're my best friend and I'll do anything to protect you."
"As I will do the same for you." We hugged each other tight.
"Come girls." Kevin walked over, taking us into a group a hug.
Hearing the sound of a door, I jumped slightly only to look up and see Mike walking out of the bathroom. He was back in his suit and ready to go. We pulled from our group hug so Kevin could get his things. Mike walked over to me, putting his arm around me as we started to leave the locker room. Since nothing else was planned for the night, we were able to leave early and I was thankful for that in this moment. As we were walking, I found my shoes and bent down to pick them up before we continued to walk through the arena and out to the car. Mike and Kevin made sure we were in the car before they put their things in the back. Once they got in, we headed back to the hotel. Once at the hotel, they got their things out of the back and we all headed in and up to our rooms. Kevin gave me a big hug before he and Shauna went into their room. Mike and I headed into our room, him setting his bags down as I sat on the bed while he took off his jacket and undid his shirt hanging them in the closet.
"I can't believe it." I mumble to myself. "We were so careful."
"We thought we were." Mike said as he sat next to me on the bed. "Now I know why we haven't seen him in weeks."
"He was buying his time. Making us think he forgot all about me so we would let our guard down." I bit my now trembling lip.
"Now that we know, we will not make that mistake again." Mike pulls me close to him, running his fingers up and down my arm.
"Hopefully."
"It won't." He says determined. "You will be with someone at all times." He shifts so he's looking at me. "I'm not losing you again." He looks me in the eyes, so much much and compassion in them I can't take it.
I lean up, pressing my lips to his in a wild kiss. He moved one hand to the back of my head while the other rested on my waist. I ran my hands up his chest and to his shoulders, moving hit shirt off as he let it slide off his arms. He moved his arms so he could take his shirt off then went right for the straps of my dress. His fingers moved lightly over my skin and I shivered at his touch. Kissing him more eagerly, he pulled my straps down and I moved my arms, pulling them out of my dress. Mike moved us so I was laying on the bed as he started to pull my dress down. I moved my hips up so he was able to pull my dress down and take it off. His fingers lightly moved over my skin as he pressed kisses to my thighs. It's been so long since he and I have been able to have this moment, with everything going on. Feeling his lips on my skin was pure ecstasy and I loved every minute of it. Closing my eyes and pressing my head into the pillow, I felt him move my legs apart. "I love you too." He looked up at me with those gorgeous blue eyes of his. I could see all the love and compassion he had for me and I couldn't take it. He really is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I'm not going to let anything or anyone ruin that.
