As the cabin pressurizes once we board the Normandy once more, I pull off my helmet. The vice I felt on my heart gave another squeeze as my interaction with Kaidan replayed in my mind. I inhale deeply, feeling eyes on me. I knew Garrus was concerned but I couldn't face him—not now.
"Commander?" Kelly's voice rings out over the intercom above us, snapping me back to the present.
"Go ahead."
"The Illusive Man is waiting on vid comms to speak with you about what happened on Horizon."
Great. Just what I need right now. I thought grimly to myself.
"I'll be right there."
Jacob strides past me, pausing at the doorway to shoot me a glance. "Good luck with The Illusive Man, Shepard. Regardless of what he says, just remember that we did all we could. There was no way we could have saved them in time."
I nod. "I know."
He heads off toward the armory and I feel him hand touch my arm as I take a step. I pause.
"Shepard...Maybe it would be best to postpone the meeting. Give yourself some time-" Garrus begins before I pull my arm away from him.
"I'm fine," I mutter.
As I leave Garrus behind, I feel the tears welling up in my eyes once more and try to force them down. As much as I appreciate Garrus' concern for my mental state, sadness was not a luxury I had at the moment. Sure, I feel as though my heart was ripped to shreds by the man I loved and I felt like I wanted to collapse into a sobbing ball but that had to wait. I have a job to do and I'll be damned if I let The Illusive Man see my vulnerability.
Reaching the vid comms room, I take a deep breath as the tabletop lowers to form a small platform. Here goes nothing.
I step onto the platform and wait, watching the flickering of the holographic screen that materializes before me. In moments, The Illusive Man appears before me. As usual, he's lounging back in his chair, smoking and staring off in the distance thoughtfully. Seeing me, he straightens.
"Good Work on Horizon, Shepard." He says, taking a long drag of his cigarette." Hopefully, the Collectors will think twice before attacking another colony."
I purse my lips with a frown. "It wasn't a victory. We may have interrupted the collectors, but they still managed to abduct half the colony."
"That's better than an entire colony, and more than we've accomplished since the abductions began." He shrugs. "The collectors will be more careful now, but I think we can find another way to lure them in."
"How exactly do you expect to do that?" I asked sardonically, crossing my arms over my chest. "Set a colonist under a giant box with a stick and rope attached and hope one of them notices?"
I can sense his annoyance but to my dismay, he remains calm. "We'll find a way." He pauses to take another drag of his cigarette before leaning back. I begin to turn to end the call but what he says next makes me pause.
"How's Kaidan, by the way?"
Every muscle in my body tenses but I turn to face him. I see the hint of a smirk forming as he takes another drag, knowing he's caught my attention.
"It didn't take long to locate your former crewmate." He continues, flicking off the ash in the ashtray near him. "Once Alliance, always Alliance I suppose."
My jaw tenses as I start connecting the dots. When I had heard in the mission briefing that Kaidan was stationed at Horizon, I thought it had been just a happy coincidence. Not that I believed in fate or anything. Now I knew that this was planned. But why?
"Kaidan said the Alliance got a tip about me working with Cerberus," I say, trying to keep the anger out of my voice. "Was that you?"
"I may have let it slip that you were alive." He shrugs. "And with Cerberus."
"Why?"
He shrugs again. "Let's just say I had a hunch. I had a feeling the Collectors were looking for you and the people closest to you. I tested this feeling and it showed I was right."
I take a step forward, glaring at him. "You risked the lives of my friend, my crew, and that entire colony over a "hunch"? Just to lure the Collectors there?"
"It was a calculated risk that seems to have paid off. I told you I wouldn't sit and wait while the Reapers and Collectors gather strength." He puts out his cigarette and lights up another. Taking a long drag, he blows out a cloud of smoke. "Besides, they would've hit another colony eventually, and without a way to predict which one, they would've abducted everyone."
"Never do that again." I sneer. "Calculated or not, I won't risk the lives of my friends-"
"But that's the thing," He interrupts. "Kaidan isn't just a friend. Had it been "just a friend", you would have instructed me to find a way to get them moved somewhere safe and continued your mission. No, I needed to find somebody who would provoke you enough to go to the colony. I needed somebody that you haven't spoken to in a long time and wanted to see again. When I heard Alenko was still with the Alliance and stationed at one of the human colonies, it worked out."
Despite the overwhelming feelings of anger and sadness flooding through me as he confessed to the trap, I pushed them down. "Never again." I snap.
"Based on what you have seen, I want the collectors stopped for that very reason. That's why we're doing this, Shepard. I'm devoting all resources to finding a way through the Omega 4 relay. We have to hit them where they live. Your team will need to be strong… as will their resolve. There's no looking back." He says, his glowing eyes boring into me. "The same goes for you. Can I assume you've put your past relationships behind you?"
Bastard. "That's none of your damn business."I snip. "What I do in my personal life-"
"If it affects the mission, better you leave it behind." He snaps. Likely seeing my reaction, his tone lightens slightly. "Shepard, once you find a way through the Omega 4 relay to the Collector homeworld, there's no guarantee you'll return. To have any hope of surviving, you -and your entire team- must be fully committed to this."
"I am fully committed." I snap back. "As for my team, let me worry about them. You just find us a way to the Collector homeworld."
Leaning back, he raises his hands in surrender. "I just want to be upfront about your odds. You'll need everyone at their best."
"We will be."
He looks as though he's about to argue but nods. "I've forwarded three more dossiers. Keep building your team while I find a way through the relay. And be careful, Shepard. The Collectors will be watching you."
The screen before me disappears and the lights around the room brighten once more. I step off the platform and leave the room.
After my disastrous vid call with The Illusive Man, I made a beeline through the armory to the elevator. Kelly asks me in passing about how the meeting went but I mutter a quick answer and hop inside the elevator, finally breathing when the doors finally close.I hit the button for my private quarters and close my eyes, leaning against the cool metal behind me. The anger I felt about being set up soon cooled into a draining sadness as I recall what happened with Kaidan.
The Illusive man thought he had all but he didn't. Sure he knew that Kaidan and I were together but that was common knowledge. The one thing that nobody, even him with his intel team knew was that the night before the fatal crash of the Normandy, Kaidan had asked me to marry him and I had said yes. I was engaged to the man I loved for barely 36 hours before I died only to go what felt like only months before seeing him again and having him look at me with pure hatred. The man who wanted to spend his life with me could barely even look at me. And to think that I went through all that heartache simply to test out Cerberus' stupid theory.
The elevator dings and the doors open. I open my eyes and look out toward the near-exact replica of my quarters in the Normandy 1. Even the bed where Kaidan and I first made love and her proposed to me looked disgustingly the same. The doors start to shut and I hold out my hand to stop them before trudging out into the room.
Before long, I found myself lying on my bed, swiping through one of my photo albums on my datapad.
I smiled at the picture of Kaidan and me during our basic training. I had just been reprimanded by the Sergeant for the way my uniform looked and Kaidan cheered me up by stealing his datapad from his office. Recruits weren't allowed access to anything that could send messages out to our families for the first few months of training for the sake of "settling in ''. From another recruit, Kaidan had heard of some embarrassing pictures of the Sergeant from shore leave. We hid in one of the server rooms of the ship and looked over pictures of a drunk and crazed Sergeant Wallace. To commemorate the moment, Kaidan turned the camera on us and made a silly face. I smile, the bittersweet tears beginning to form, stinging my eyes.
The next picture was of a slightly older Kaidan passed out with his head resting on the toilet he was instructed to clean as a punishment for pissing off Sergeant Wallace during an inspection. His toothbrush rested precariously in his hand, moments away from falling into the bowl.
I flipped through picture after picture as tears trickled down my cheeks and occasionally fell on the datapad before I wiped them away. We had been through it all together. From the day we met, we always had each other's back; basic training, countless missions, and promotions. It was us against the world...until now.
I swipe and bite my lip as it starts quivering. The last picture of us together was from the night before the accident that left me dead. We were in bed, the blankets swaddled around our entangled bodies. I told him it was a corny idea but insisted before pulling me into a kiss and taking the picture. Outside, I was his commanding officer and he was my lieutenant but in my quarters, especially at that moment, nobody else existed; Just Kaidan and Alexis.
As I felt another round of sobbing rising up in my throat, I got a message.
Knock, knock.
-G
My brows furrow moments before EDI chimes in.
"Commander Shepard, Garrus Valkyrian would like to speak with you."
Cursing under my breath, I bolt upwards. Shutting off my datapad, I quickly set it aside and look at myself in the small mirror on my desk. Wiping my eyes and fixing my messed up hair that stuck up from where I was laying, I thank EDI and take a deep breath before telling her to let him in.
The door slides open to reveal Garrus, standing awkwardly in the doorway with his arms behind him. "Hey… may I come in? I brought wine." He says, sheepishly raising a bottle. "Best I could afford on a vigilante's salary."
I nod, waving him in. As he shuffles inside, I lean against my desk.
"Is everything alright, Garrus?" I ask, my concern etched on my face.
"With me? Sure." He shrugs, looking around the room before turning to me. "How are you holding up?"
I shrug. "Like you said; There wasn't much we could do about the collectors."
"That's not what I'm talking about."
I feel myself beginning to choke up once more at the memory of what happened with Kaidan but force it down. "I'm fine," I say with a nonchalant shrug.
He shoots me a skeptical glance. "Shepard...I know you."
I feel the tears welling up and quickly look away. "It's fine," I muttered, rising. "Kaidan was right to be upset."
"If you don't mind my asking, what did he say after Jacob and I left? Had to be pretty bad since you were quiet on the shuttle."
I turn so my back is facing him. As close as Garrus and I were, part of me didn't want to tell him. Maybe it was shame or self-preservation. Whichever, I debated whether to say anything.
He sighs. "I'm not trying to pressure you to tell me… If you don't feel comfortable-"
"He was upset that I didn't contact him in the last 2 years," I reply, unable to face him. "He thinks I betrayed him and the Alliance to join up with Cerberus."
"Little hard to contact him when you're not conscious. As for joining Cerberus..." He trails off. I shoot him a glance and, noticing my expression, he clears his throat. "It doesn't matter. People will believe what they believe."
I once more shrug. In an instant, I felt like all my energy was gone and all I wanted to do was curl up in my bed for at least the next month and cry. Unfortunately, I had a galaxy to save.
Garrus clears his throat once more. "Well, if anybody on this damn ship deserves a drink, I'd say it'd be you. Glasses?"
I vaguely motion off toward the cupboard behind my desk. As he walks over to it, I stride over to my fish tank and watch the new exotic fish we got from the Citadel. In moments, Garrus reappears beside me with two wine glasses balanced in one of his hands and the wine bottle in the other.
"Join me." He says, motioning for me to follow.
Reluctant, I follow him over to the small table near the end of my bed. He motions for me to take a seat across from him as he pours the wine into either glass. With a sigh, I flop down onto the chair.
He pushes the glass to me and raises his own. "To making it out of this shit alive."
I barely raise my glass before he takes a long drought of his own before forcefully setting it down. I raise a brow and he mutters an apology.
"Are you alright, Garrus?" I frown. "You seem tense."
He glances at me, our eyes meeting for a second before he exhales. "I'm not doing great at this whole comforting thing, am I?" He asks, shooting me a sheepish grin.
I shrug. "Well, you brought alcohol so that's a start."
He laughs and I find myself cracking a smile as well before it fades once more. "I loved him, Garrus."
He nods. "I know, Shepard." He watches as I quickly down my glass before filling it and his own once more.
With one glass, I could already feel a slight buzz beginning to emerge but I didn't mind. It was a welcome distraction.
I absently trace my finger along the rim of my glass, deep in thought.
"Ever since I woke up in the Cerberus med-bay a few months ago, I've thought about him every day. I wondered if he knew I was alive. With it being two years after I was pronounced dead I wondered if he had moved on and if he was happy." I say thoughtfully. "He definitely didn't seem so when I saw him." I blink back the tears that begin to form.
"Maybe it was the shock of seeing you again." He offers with a shrug. "We all thought you died and even had a big memorial for you. As he said, it was like he was standing in front of a ghost."
I shake my head. "Ghost or not, you didn't see the way he looked at me; so full of hatred and disgust."
"I can't imagine anybody looking at you in disgust." He says, taking a drink.
I scoff. "Well, he did."
"Then, regardless of the situation, he's a fool."
I look at him, raising a brow. "Why's that?"
He drains his glass, pausing before setting it down as though trying to formulate his response. He looks at me, a slight smile forming. "Permission to speak plainly?"
"Always."
He shifts slightly to face me as his light blue eyes train on my own. "To most, you're the fearless Commander Shepard, back from the dead to kick ass and take names. While you are that, I've worked with you long enough to know that you're much more than that."
"Meaning?"
Without breaking his gaze, he nods. "Meaning...you're smart, a wicked shot, a caring friend…" His eyes flick down to my lips for a brief second before returning to my eyes, "And incredibly sexy."
With this confession, I let out a self-conscious laugh. "You think I'm sexy?"
"I do." He nods, a mischievous grin emerging. "Maybe it has something to do with you killing Reapers in your spare time."
I chuckle, despite myself. "How oddly specific. Do all girls fall for that kind of line?"
"Sometimes." He grins. "Although, I think it mostly has to do with my voice…"
Maybe it was the wine and my intense vulnerability but his voice did have an effect on me. The smooth, deep tone cascaded over me as he described what he thought of me.
"You do have a nice voice… very smooth." I agree, becoming aware of the stirring between my legs. I shift slightly and notice the slight smirk forming as he seems to notice himself. I feel a brush starting to rise from my collar.
"If you think that is smooth, you should see me dance."
My eyes widen slightly before I scoff. "You dance?"
"Mhm. Took lessons and everything."
Going to raise my glass for a drink, I frown as I notice the emptiness. He takes it from me with a chuckle and fills our glasses once more.
"How did a vigilante find time to take lessons?" I ask, watching him fill my glass. He slides it back to me and I take a long sip.
"Before I had come to Omega, I found myself getting frustrated with C-Sec and figured I'd find a hobby to hopefully relieve some stress."
"I'm guessing it didn't work out since you ended up leaving C-Sec." I take another drink, licking the rogue droplets off my lips as the corners of my lips curl upwards slightly. "I bet you were able to woo quite a few women with your new dancing abilities."
He smiles but his eyes seemed to almost bore into me. "None that mattered."
Tension hung in the air as neither of us spoke for a beat. As I start opening my mouth to speak to change subjects, he rises and walks back toward my bed. I frown, watching him as he picks up my datapad.
My eyes widen. "Wait, I-"
He looks at it for a moment before typing something in and within seconds, music begins to play in the speakers, flooding the room with tango music. Tossing it on the bed, he turns to me smiling as he holds out his hand.
"Let me show you."
My eyes widen as I look at his hand. I feel my heart pounding in my ears. "Garrus… you don't have to-"
He strides forward, holding his hand out to me. "I insist."
I glance at his hand before sighing and reluctantly grabbing his hand. He pulls me up to face him, our bodies close as he guides my other hand to his back. He touches my back, sending a chill up my spine before slowly moving it down to stop at my waist.
"Follow my lead." He grins, moving with the beat. I instantly look down, watching my feet as I try to follow along. He spins me out and then twirls me back in so my back is against him. His hand rests on my waist and I feel him dip his head next to my ear.
"Relax." He says, his deep voice making my heart race. "You're doing great so far."
"Dancing isn't really my thing," I mutter. "Just so we're clear, I'll have to get you back for making me do this later."
He spins me out once more and pulls me back in. His breath is hot on my neck. "Promises, promises." He practically growls in my ear.
He twirls me around to resume our first position. His eyes meet mine as we move. I almost step on his feet at first before finally figuring out the steps along with the beat. He smirks. "There, now you're getting it."
I follow his steps, trying to remember a move I saw in old vids. Another twirl and as he steps forward, I lift my leg and hook it around his. As he wraps an arm around me, he leans forward, our bodies pressing together as he dips me back. I tilt my head back, closing my eyes as he lowers his face, his mandibles lightly grazing my chest and collarbone.
I open my eyes and raise my head, meeting his gaze as he smirks.
"So tell me; Think a girl would fall for that?" He asks.
My heart pounds loudly in my chest and I worry he can hear it. "Absolutely," I whisper. As we straighten up once more, we remain to hold each other with our faces only inches apart. "I had no idea you had so much reach and flexibility…"
His eyes dip to my lips once more. "It gets even better when you try it in bed."
My lips part slightly, half surprised by the boldness. At that moment, I found myself surprised with how much the idea of him in bed both aroused and intrigued me. Before I even knew what I was saying, the words tumbled out of my mouth. "Show me."
He releases me and I slowly step back, reaching up to my shirt and beginning to unbutton the top. He watches me, his stance almost rigid as his gaze darkens with lust. "Shepard… are you sure?"
Now it's my turn to smirk. "Don't tell me you're chickening out now, Valkarian." I pull my shirt off, standing before him in my bra, pants, and boots.
His eyes move over my form, taking in all the soft curves of my hips and chest which clearly contrasted with his own figure. "I don't even know what a chicken is... though I've heard everything in the galaxy tastes like it."
I throw my shirt at him with a laugh. "Shut up. I'm serious."
He meets my gaze. "So am I," He frowns, suddenly serious. "I want you to be sure that this is something you want. You have no idea how long I've wanted this…"
"Wanted what?" I chuckle. "Me, drunk and willing?"
He shakes his head, setting my shirt on the nearby chair before coming to stand before me. "No. I mean this. You. Me. Us." He reaches up, his fingers gently touching my cheek. "You deserve so much more than what you experienced today."
A rogue tear escapes and starts to fall down my cheek and he wipes it away with his finger. He smiles at me before his smile falters. "Do you really want this? I won't be offended if you change your mind. I just want to make sure we're on the same page."
Honestly, I don't think this was just the alcohol talking but I did want this. Since reuniting in Omega, it had crossed my mind quite a few times. While Garrus might not have worked with me for as long as Kaidan had, much like my former lover, Garrus had been there for me through thick and thin. It was only natural that feelings would start to form over time, especially with how often Garrus and I are around each other on and off the Normandy.
Now as his bright blue eyes stared at me with such hopefulness, I wanted this more than anything.
"I do," I say, breathlessly. Reaching up, I place my hand on the back of his head, pulling him down into a kiss. As I begin to pull away, he pulls me close once more into a kiss. His arm wraps around me moments before he grabs my ass and picks me up. I let out a surprised squeak, wrapping my legs around him as he starts walking me back toward the bed.
Setting me down on the edge of the bed, he straightens.
I watch as he carefully undoes the various clasps of the upper parts of his armor. He removes each piece, one by one, watching and gauging my reaction.
This was the first time I've ever seen a Turian without any clothes or armor. With the exception of his hands and grey skin, his arms looked like muscular human arms. My eyes move over his arms, biting my lip as his arms flex and relax as he removes his armor. He sets the final piece aside and stands before me, naked from the waist up.
"Well?" He asks anxiously as I look him over.
His chest and torso look similar to a human's as well, with exception of his collar which protrudes outwards slightly, similar to his armor. I smiled at him. "Could have used a bit more dancing while you took it off but it works."
He chuckles. "I'll keep that in mind."
I rise and start to undo my pants when he stops me. I raise a brow.
"Not so fast." He grins. "Lie back. I want to savor this moment."
I do as I'm told and lie back on the bed, propping myself up on my elbows. The wine was really starting to set in as I began to feel giggly as Garrus kneels before me.
I bite my lip as he unclasps my belt and carefully unzips my pants before reaching you to grab the waistline of them, taking care to not scratch me with his claws in the process. He slips them down, pausing to remove each boot before tossing them aside.
I open my mouth to tell him that it's his turn when he reaches under my legs and pulls me closer to him so his face is between my legs, only mere inches from my nether regions. My breath catches as I anxiously watch as his finger grazes my opening through the thin fabric of my underwear.
"Careful with the claws…" I mutter, earning an almost offended glance.
"I'd have you remember that I shot and killed a husk that was centimeters from your head earlier. I am fully capable of keeping my claws from piercing anything."
"You pierce it, you're explaining it to Dr. Cha- ooh." I'm cut off as the finger that was moments ago grazing my opening moments ago slips under the fabric and suddenly pushes inside. He quickly finds the area he's looking for and gently rubs around it, smirking as he watches my reaction. My eyes flutter shut and I arch my back.
"You were saying?" He chuckles.
"Mmm." I bite my lip self consciously as a moan erupts in my throat. "Fuck…"
I feel his tongue tickling my inner thigh as his fingers continue their work. I feel myself getting closer as I move my hips in rhythm with his finger as it moves in and out before he suddenly removes it.
Breathing heavily, I raise my head and shoot him a confused look. He says nothing as he slips off my underwear, setting them aside.
"I'm guessing you've done this before," I comment as he gently pushes my legs further apart.
He chuckles, smiling as I let another moan escape as he presses a finger inside me once more.
"By 'this' I'm guessing you mean sleeping with a human?"
I barely make out his words as my mind focuses on what his finger is doing. "Mhm…."
He chuckles. "I've never slept with a human before but the vids that Joker sent me a couple of years back gave me a basic idea."
"Remind me to thank Joker later then," I mutter before another loud moan involuntarily escapes.
Garrus smiles, gently pumping his fingers in and out of me with curious satisfaction. "Although, there is one thing that I'm curious about."
"And what's that?"
"How you taste."
Before I can ask him in what way he means, his finger slides out and I feel his arms wrap around my legs. He pulls me closer, placing a leg over either shoulder before kneeling down. I once more prop myself up on my elbows to watch him. He traces a finger down the center of my slit before using two fingers to gently spread my lips. Meeting my apprehensive gaze, he smiles.
"Don't worry. I'll be careful and take it slow."
I swallow nervously but give him a curt nod. Holding my gaze, he lowers his face and plants gentle kisses along my slit. I bite my lip as he slowly dips his tongue in. As he promised, he goes slow with languid kisses as he licks and sucks my lips and around my clit.
I let myself go, falling back on the bed while allowing myself to moan and move against him as I get closer to climax.
"Garrus…"I breathe, grabbing his hand wrapped around my thigh. "F-faster…"
With a slight groan of his own, his tongue darts faster between my folds. "Garrus… I'm getting- ah!" As a wave of pleasure washes over me, I feel Garrus' hands tighten around me as he hungrily laps up my arousal.
As I take a moment to catch my breath, Garrus releases my legs. I feel him press a couple of light kisses to my inner thigh, he rises.
"That was…" I begin to say only to trail off as words evade me.
"It's not over just yet." He chuckles.
As he says this, I open my eyes and rise up onto my elbows once more to see that he had removed the lower half of his armor and now stood before me nude. I bite my lip as my eyes wander downwards, taking in the muscular form of his body below his narrow Turian waist. I was surprised to find that despite his narrow waist, three-toed feet, and angular fin on the back of his calves, his lower body also closely resembled that of a human man. My eyes then moved south of his waist to the point I was mostly curious about.
I sit up, scooching to the edge of the bed for closer examination. While his cock seemed human-like in structure, the tip was more pointed. I couldn't help but notice the firm bulge beneath the shaft where the testicle would typically be and the slit that it seemed to emerge from.
I look up to meet his anxious gaze. "May I?" I ask, motioning toward it. He shifts from one foot to the other but nods. He moves closer and I reach out to touch him. As my fingers roam and explore, I hear him emit a soft moan when I touch certain areas. As my finger moves along the underside of the tip, I smile as he groans.
Gently taking him in my hand, I press a kiss to the underside once more. He reaches out to grab my shoulder to stable himself as I trace the tip of his cock with my tongue.
"Shepard…" He mutters in weak warning before I take him fully into my mouth. Moans and light gasps emerge from him as his cock moves in and out of my mouth, pausing every so often to focus my attention on the tip. It doesn't take long before he grabs my shoulders and pushes me away, his breathing ragged. I shoot him a confused look which gets me a small grin in return.
"You….are a little too good at that." His breathing begins to calm as he straightens. "Lie back."
With a shrug, I do as I'm told and lie back, propping myself up with my elbows once more as he leans over me. I feel the tip of his cock near my opening as he kneels between my legs and leans down so our chests are touching. He smiles.
"While I would love to continue whatever you were just doing some time, there's one thing I've been dying to try."
I raise a brow. "And that is?"
He leans down, going in for a tender and languid kiss. His arms wrap around me as we kiss, pulling me closer to him. I suddenly break the kiss, gasping in surprise as the tip of his cock slowly pushes inside my opening.
"Let me know if anything feels uncomfortable." He mutters breathlessly near my ear. My lips still parted in surprise, I nod.
Slowly sinking in, up to the hilt, he leans back enough to gauge my reaction. Feeling him pulsating inside me as I stretch to accommodate, he smirks down at me. "You good so far?"
Wrapping my leg around the back of his, I nod. "I'd be better if you kept going. Great start but what's next?"
He smiles down at me as a small moan escapes from me as he lazily pulls out a couple of inches before slowly pushing himself back in. I bite my lip as he does this and also reach down to lightly rub my clit as he does so.
"Oh my...Garrus…" I moan, arching my back. "Don't...stop."
"Don't worry. I won't." He chuckles. His thrusts pick up speed slightly. "The vids Joker showed me…" He begins to say bit breaks off as he half groans and growls as I start raising hips to meet his thrusts, plunging him deeper inside. Suddenly removing his finger from my clit, he grabs my hand and pins it up against my head as his lips crash down on mine, muffling the surprised half-moan that escapes from me with a deep growl of his own. His three-fingered intertwine with mine as he pumps into me. He breaks our kiss as his breathing becomes labored and ragged.
"Harder." I gasp. "Fuck me...harder."
I feel his smirk against my neck. "Is that a command?" He half-chuckles, lifting his head to meet my gaze.
Tightening my leg around his I give him a smirk in return. "Yes."
"As you wish."
With each powerful thrust, I clung to him and let our moans intermingle as I could feel my own pleasure building and come to a head.
"Garrus...I'm close." I say, breathlessly between moans. Without interrupting his rhythm, he reaches down and brings my other leg up to wrap around him as pounds into me relentlessly. I feel my climax getting closer and warn him not to stop seconds before a loud moan erupts from me as a wave of pleasure breaks and pours over me.
I cling to him, swept up in the wave as my already foggy brain barely notices his slowed thrusts.
In moments, Garrus lets out a strangled moan of his own and I feel a warmth spread inside me. He pumps into me a couple more times, likely prolonging his own pleasure before he removes himself and slumps on the bed beside me, breathless.
I turn my head, the end of my climax beginning to recede like an ebbing tide as I look at him. He takes a few breaths before his breathing seems to be returning to normal.
"That was…" He begins to say, suddenly breaking off as if to collect his scattered thoughts.
I smile to myself and scooch closer, nestling myself into the small nook of his arm and laying my head on his shoulder. I touch his keel as he turns his head to smile at me.
"Not bad, Valkarian." I sigh, closing my eyes. He chuckles and I feel the deep rumble through his chest as I feel his arm wrap around me. I feel him press a kiss to the top of my head.
"You too, Shepard."
