July 4th 2010: Gotham City
It was a beautiful day in Gotham which was quite rare. Most days, people tried to just get on with their day in the crime-ridden city and get back home without getting mugged. Today, the sun was shining, and crime seemed to be nonexistent.
Feeling brave, many Gothamites made their way to the city's main park to relax. Of course, it couldn't last. One moment, a family was enjoying sandwiches; the next, they were encased in ice. Several people tried moving to help, but another blast of ice sent the civilians running.
The few who stayed behind were witness to a man in a large exo-suit walking out from under the shade of some trees. His head, the only part of him that showed any skin, was chalk-white, devoid of any hair, and encased in a transparent dome.
In his hands was a large cannon with wisps of cold air coming from the barrel. Mister Freeze smirked at the terror he was causing. He aimed his ice-cannon again, but a batarang knocked it off-target.
"Batman?" Mister Freeze whirled around. "I was wondering when…"
But there was no one in sight, and all he could hear was mocking laughter. Mister Freeze looked around only for Robin to flip onto and off him again.
"Boy Wonder." Mister Freeze scoffed. "The Bat sent you to cart me off to prison? Frankly, I'm underwhelmed."
"Great, but I'm kind of in a hurry here." Robin declared.
"Kids." Mister Freeze shook his head. "Always in a rush."
"Not talking to you," Robin stated while gesturing behind Freeze.
The villain looked up in time to see Batman fall from the sky. The last thing he saw, before he was knocked out, was the Dark Knight's fist smash through his damaged helmet.
"Get we get a move on now?" Robin questioned. "Today is the day."
Boston
The citizens of Boston ran in fear as another ice-villain ran amok. This one was Icicle Jr. A young man with the ability to coat his body in ice. He could also shoot and create it. As he watched the people around him flee in terror, he let out an insane cackle.
He had been wondering around the city and occasionally encasing a car or innocent bystander in ice. He was interrupted by a lasso roping him up and yanking him back. Knowing there were only two people who regularly used lassos, he could take a guess at who this was.
By managing to look back he saw it was Wonder Girl who'd caught him while her mentor, Wonder Woman, beside her. "Finally! What does a guy have to do to get a little attention around here?"
Wonder Girl, now 15, retracted her lasso as she thought about it. "I kind of see where you're coming from, but not even I would do this just to get a fight."
"Wonder Girl, sympathy is a wonderful trait, but don't let it distract you." Wonder Woman chided.
"Oh, right." Wonder Girl stated
The two heroines flew at Icicle Jr. who tried shooting them down with blasts of ice, but the two of them dodged. Wonder Woman slammed her fist into the villain's chin sending him into the air. Wonder Girl was there to punch Icicle into the ground.
Wonder Woman looked down at the unconscious villain. "Well, I think he'll be out long enough for the police to come get him." She looked to her protegee. "Are you ready to go?"
"Of course." Wonder Girl grinned. "Today is the day!"
Salem
Lucky Girl ran along roof tops towards the crime she knew was in progress with her now longer hair trailing behind her. She wore a blue and black spandex suit with a formfitting blue mask that covered the bottom half of her face.
She wore a belt with Dr. Fate's symbol on it. Lucky Girl eventually came to a rooftop across from a jewelry store which the villain, Captain Cold, had just robbed. Lucky created pink barriers in the air which she ran down.
"You know, I've heard of and seen villains sticking to a theme, but stealing ice is a bit to cliché for someone named Captain Cold." Lucky commented getting his attention.
Captain Cold took aim and fired his ice gun only for Lucky to erect a pink barrier blocking it. She then jumped and landed a powerful kick which knocked the villain into the wall of the store. As he crumpled to the ground unconscious, she caught the bag of diamonds.
"That was well done, Gwen." Kent's voice ran through her mind. "Now, you should get on over to Washington. Sorry I can't be there by the way, but I can't be seen entering with a bunch of heroes."
A golden ankh appeared drawing Lucky' attention. "It's fine sir. I know it would be weird for some old guy most people don't know to be there. Still, today is the day."
Bellwood
The villainess, Killer Frost, was starting to freeze over the city when Hal and (Chimera)Ben arrived on scene. Chimera was one his newly unlocked alien, a Methanosian, he called Swampfire. The pair were on scene to stop the villainess prompting her to try and freeze them. Hal simply flew out of the way while Swampfire easily combated her ice with his fire.
Swampfire drew in close before punching the villainess out. "I think it's time you chill out Frosty!"
"Nice job kid." Hal crossed his arms. "Looks like you're ready."
"How could I not be?" Swampfire questioned. "After all, today is the day!"
Washington D.C.: Hall of Justice
Batman & Robin, Green Arrow & Speedy, Wonder Woman & Wonder Girl, and Lucky Girl were already standing outside the Hall of Justice when Hal & Chimera arrived.
"Dang, looks like we were the last to arrive." Chimera stated.
After pleasantries were exchanged, the group made their way along a red carpet as civilians began snapping pictures of them.
"Is that Batman? How often does he come out during the day?"
"Hey, it's Green Lantern! He is my favorite!"
"Look, is that Lucky Girl with Wonder Woman!"
"How would that make any sense?"
"Yeah, Wonder Girl is obviously Wonder Woman's sidekick though I haven't seen Lucky Girl for years now."
Wonder Girl slumped slightly. "I've been doing this for years, yet people can't seem to remember me that well."
"It's okay." Chimera stated. "Some people somehow think I'm Lantern Boy when there's never even been one to begin with."
"Don't even get me started on the confusion with me." Lucky added. "Roughly two years as Lucky Girl, in the exact same places, and some still don't get I was Lucky Girl."
"So, you ready to get a look at the inner sanctum?" Green Arrow asked Speedy.
"I was born ready." Speedy replied.
"I'm just glad the five of us are here together." Chimera stated. "After the number of times I've worked with each of you, I wouldn't want it any other way."
"Come to think of it, when have the five of us sidekicks been in the same place?" Wonder Girl asked.
"Don't call us sidekicks." Speedy bit back. "Not after today."
"You're usually on edge Speedy, but today you seem more irritated." Lucky commented. "Is this just overwhelming for you?"
"That may make sense, but I don't know how I like hearing it." Robin sighed. I mean, he's overwhelmed while Freeze was underwhelmed. Why isn't anyone just whelmed?"
Inside
The group entered the Hall of Justice where they saw giant statues to the founding eight members.
"Oh… maybe that's why." Robin stated.
The group approached a set of doors which slide open revealing Aquaman and Martian Manhunter. Both received the group warmly.
"Robin, Chimera, Wonder Girl, Sorcerress Fate, and Speedy, welcome to the Hall of Justice." J'onn gestured for them to follow him inside resulting in Robin and Chimera fist bumping. "You now have access to the gym, a fully-stocked kitchen, and our library."
The group stopped in the last room where the younger heroes, save Speedy, plopped down into chairs. While those sitting basked in what they saw as a great accomplishment, Batman drew the older heroes to the side.
"Quick debrief to discuss the coincidence of four ice villains attacking on the same day." Batman looked over at the younger heroes. "We shouldn't be long."
"Hold on a second." Chimera stood. "Since most of us helped take down those ice villains, shouldn't we be part of the discussion?"
"Forget that." Speedy crossed his arms. "Even if we hadn't been involved, I thought this was the day we were official leaguers."
"Walk before you run." Wonder Woman informed.
"Looks to me this isn't what we thought it was." Speedy declared. "So, what? You guys set out to give us some glorified, backstage pass?"
Hal had known this wouldn't have gone over well with these two.
"Roy, you just need to have patience." Green Arrow tried.
"I've been patient long enough." Speedy spat back. "What I need now is respect." He turned to his fellow, young heroes. "Just look at this. They're treating us like kids that can be appeased. We deserve better than this."
"Speedy, I'm sure they're just bringing us in slowly." Lucky tried. "I mean, this is their HQ."
"None of you know, huh?" Speedy was shocked. "This here is just a false front for tourist while their real base sits in space. I'm talking their orbital satellite known as The Watch Tower."
Batman crossed his arms and glared at Green Arrow. "I know, but I thought we could make an exception." The bat's glare intensified. "Maybe not."
"You are not helping your cause." Aquaman stated. "Stand down."
Speedy was about to speak before Chimera beat him to it. "Is this because there are still those of you who feel I'm untrustworthy?" Everyone's attention was on him. "Is my association with your sidekicks that much of a bother?"
"Ben, that's not what this is about." Hal assured. "Trust me on that."
"If that's not the case, then what is?" Speedy asked. "Not even Green Arrow explained why we are treated like second rate versions of you. Even Chimera is treated that way, and he has a distinct power." He shook his head before throwing down his hat. "Well, I've had it. I'm done."
"Speedy…" Chimera began.
"You clearly get it, so why don't you walk out with me?" Speedy turned to him. "Aren't you frustrated by all the mistrust? We could prove our point away from them."
"I know a few of the older heroes have kept their eye on me, but these guys behind me are still my friends." Chimera began. "I…"
"Forget it." Speedy walked past him. "Like those three, you're not ready."
The young heroes all looked at each other uneasily until one of the communication-screens activated showing Superman. "Superman to Justice League; there's been an explosion at Project Cadmus, and it's now on fire."
Batman tapped his chin in thought. "I've had suspicions about Cadmus for a while now. This could be the perfect opportunity to…"
Before he could finish, Zatanna's image appeared next to Superman's. "Zatanna to Justice League; Sorcerer Wotan is using the Amulet of Attan to blot out the sun. I'm requesting full league response!"
Batman glanced at Superman's side of the screen, and the hero shook his head. "It's only a small fire. Local authorities have it under control."
"Then, Cadmus can wait," Batman stated before activating a league-wide communication, "All Leaguers, rendezvous at Zatanna's coordinates. Batman out."
The remaining young heroes approached the others; however, Chimera didn't have high hopes they'd be included. Especially since Speedy had just spoken a lot of sense.
He was proven right as Batman put up a hand. "Stay put."
"What?" Robin demanded angrily. "Why?"
Inwardly, Hal winced. He had hoped the League would come around, but all that had done was argue over the younger hero's membership. Hall had been for it, but anyone who was on his side had been outvoted by the rest.
"This is a League mission." Wonder Woman stated sternly.
"You're not trained." Green Arrow added.
He was rather reluctant since he had been one of the few Leaguers to side with Hal.
"Since when?" Wonder Girl asked.
"What he meant to say is that you're not trained to work as part of this team." Hal corrected.
"I thought being here meant we were all on the same team now." Lucky stated.
"We all are, but you four aren't ready for something like this." Aquaman stated. Don't worry for there'll be other missions."
"For now, stay put." Batman added with a slight glare.
"Glad you didn't bring you-know-who?" Green Arrow whispered to the Martian.
"Indeed." J'onn said.
Hal, the last one out, paused at the exit since he knew his protegee was staring at him. He didn't like doing this to the guy, but then he suddenly got an idea.
"You know, it's a shame everyone else in the league is out of the area." Hal stated nonchalantly. "Means there's no one to supervise you."
He then left, and the doors closed leaving most of the young heroes stumped. They had been so pumped to finally fight against the big-time threats only to be tossed aside.
"When we're ready…" Wonder Girl crossed her arms. "How are we ever supposed to be 'ready' when they treat us sidekicks?"
"I thought we already were ready." Lucky stated disappointed. "Not even my own mentor told me about The Watchtower."
"The least they could do was let us get debriefed on the ice villains." Robin huffed.
Chimera had been thinking on his mentor's words before getting an idea. "Say, what's Cadmus Labs?"
Robin stared at him before also remembering what they were told. "I don't know." A grin slowly formed on his face as he walked over to the computer. "Bet I can find out though."
"Access denied." The computer stated.
"Heh, wanna bet?" Robin asked as the group joined him and he began typing in lines of codes.
Lucky was impressed. "Whoa, how are you doing that?"
"Same system as the Batcave." Robin answered before he cracked open the file. "Cadmus Labs. Says here, it's a genetics lab based in D.C. That's all there is, but if Batman's suspicious, maybe we should investigate."
"Solve their case before they do." Wonder Girl smiled. "It would be poetic justice."
"They're all about justice." Chimera commented.
"Didn't the leaguers tell us to stay put?" Lucky questioned.
"Just for the blotting-out-the-sun mission." Robin argued. "Not this."
"I asked you to look into this, so there's no way I'm missing out." Chimera declared.
"Well, I'm going if you two are." Wonder Girl stated excitedly at the prospect.
The three of them looked at Lucky who was still unsure. "So, we're a team on a mission?"
"Lucky, clearly the older heroes need a reminder what we're capable of." Chimera reasoned. "Hey, with a little extra help, I think we can show them just that."
Washington D.C., Evening…
Cadmus Labs was only two stories tall and looked like a standard office building. It was currently on fire with frantic scientists calling out for the fire department below to save them. Then, something behind the scientists exploded sending them flying.
Before the firefighters could so much as gasp, Wonder Girl and Lucky Girl were there catching them. The pair of Heroines took the men down to the ground gently before flying or walking up to the window.
"Was that Wonder Woman's sidekick?" One of the firefighters asked. "What's her name again?"
"I'm positive that other one's been on the news to." The other stated.
"Is it really that hard to remember us?" Wonder Girl stuck her head back out the window. "It's Wonder Girl and Lucky Girl!"
"Those two were eager. Especially Lucky who didn't seem interested." Chimera thought the boy wonder was still next to him. "Wouldn't you say…" He noticed Robin was suddenly on top of a fire truck before using his grapple-gun to get inside. "Should have expected that."
Chimera dialed up a Pyronite and slammed the face plate down. "Heatblast." He then stepped forward. "Allow me." The firefighters stared on in awe as Heatblast drew in all the fire putting out the building. "I'm now going to follow my comrades inside to search for stragglers."
Without waiting for a word from them, he rocketed up to the window and got inside.
Cadmus Labs
Once inside, Chimera transformed back to normal of his own volition. Azmuth had tinkered a bit with the Omnitrix and gave it a kind of pseudo-Master Control. Chimera could now shift aliens as needed, but the watch still needed to recharge eventually.
It could recharge, before timing out, if he was in his normal form. This did cut down on timeouts. Chimera now looked around the room only to see his three comrades going through files. Well, Robin was on the computers. He decided to make sure the coast was clear.
He entered the nearby hallways only to notice some figure with horns entering an elevator down the hall. "Guys!" Chimera whispered back to the group getting them come and at least see the elevator closing. "I don't think that's right."
"I'll say." Lucky nodded. "In the case of a fire, elevators shouldn't be working."
"Let me take a look into it." Robin stated as they approached the door.
The boy wonder brough up a holographic computer screen and keyboard. He spent a few seconds typing away at it before an image of the elevator was brought up.
"This is a high-speed, express-elevator." Robin told them. "The question is, why would it be in a two-story building?"
Lucky used her magic to pry open the door, and everyone looked down to see that this most certainly meant there were more than just two stories here. Robin grapple hooked down with Wonder Girl flying after him. Lucky created a platform for her and Chimera to ride.
Robin called for a halt at a door marked '26'. "Give me a second." He began working on his interface. "Alright, the door is ready to be breeched."
This time, Wonder Girl pried them open allowing all of them to enter the floor.
"Funny, I was expecting more than some crates." Chimera commented.
"Maybe whatever we're looking for it up ahead." Lucky offered.
The group moved on ahead only to hear a thudding sound. They soon saw that it was caused by a veritable herd of large creatures which had gray skin with elephantine hind legs and apelike arms. They walked on all fours while using their knuckles as support.
Their red eyes glowed though they were partially obscured by the large tusks that emerged from the sides of their heads. Each creature had a smaller one sitting on its head. One of them spotted the heroes before its eyes and horns briefly glowed.
"I'd say Batman's suspicions of this place were spot-on." Robin whispered.
Deeper Within the Lab
A man with long, brown hair tied up in a ponytail, square-rimmed glasses, sandals, and a white lab coat busied himself with creating a monster. He mixed some red liquid into a test-tube filled with blue liquid and nodded approvingly as the red vanished.
"Dr. Desmond." A female stated from the doorway.
It was a woman wearing a black combat-suit, gold helmet, and with a golden shield on her left arm. She marched into the room with one of those smaller creatures on her left shoulder. It looked agitated.
"Tell me, Guardian…" Dr. Desmond placed the test-tube into a container labeled 'Blockbuster'. "…what part of 'no interruptions' did you not understand?"
Guardian ignored the scientist's attitude. "One of the G-Gnomes on sublevel twenty-six reported four intruders."
Desmond sighed. "Did I miss a perimeter breach alert?"
"No…" Guardian stated slowly.
"Then the G-Gnome's confused." Desmond said crossly. "Whatever might occur in our faux-lab aboveground, the real Cadmus is the most secure facility in D.C."
"It is my job to keep it that way." Guardian replied.
"Very well." Desmond sighed again. "Take a squad."
Before Guardian could leave, another figure entered the lab. He was skinny and gray-skinned. His attire consisted of a white shirt and pants. His eyes were red, and his ears were elfin. Two whisker-like tendrils drooped down like a moustache and two horns arced upwards.
"Might I recommend that Guardian leave his G-Gnome behind?" Dubbilex suggested, "If violence should occur…"
"The little guy might get in my way." Guardian finished even as she patted the small creature on the head affectionately.
"No!" Desmond snapped before composing himself. "The advantage of instant telepathic communication outweighs other concerns."
He then rubbed the chin of the G-Gnome that was sitting on his table. A moment later, the horns of both G-Gnome glowed.
Guardian's eyes glazed over as she spoke in a robotic tone. "I need my G-Gnome with me at all times."
She bowed to Desmond and walked out with Dubbilex right behind her.
With the Heroes
Chimera, Robin, Lucky, and Wonder Girl searched the level they were on and eventually found another locked door. Robin quickly hacked the systems, opening the door, only for the four heroes to be stunned.
"Okay, I'm officially whelmed." Robin stated.
The room before them had rows of large, transparent jars. Inside each one there was an identical, insect-like creature with arcs of electricity being emitted by its abdomen. The electricity was then absorbed by a device at the bottom of each jar.
"This must be how they hide this big of a facility." Lucky deduced. "The real Cadmus isn't on the grid because it's powered by them."
"The question is, what's all this for?" Wonder Girl questioned.
"Let's find out," Robin was hacking a nearby computer and bringing up images of the creatures they'd seen as well as pictures of ones they hadn't. "They're called Genomorphs." He was shocked. "Whoa, look at the stats on these things! Super-strength, telepathy, razor claws…"
"It's an army." Chimera stated grimly. "Why else would you make living weapons?"
"What's that?" Lucky pointed to a file on the screen, "What's 'Project Kr'?"
Robin tapped the keyboard, but all he got was a negative sounding beep. "No good. The file's triple-encrypted. I can't…"
"Don't move!" a voice ordered.
The four heroes turned to see a pack of short, gray-skinned creatures with long tails and razor-sharp claws on their hands and feet. The creatures snarled at them but didn't attack as a woman with a golden helmet and shield walked into the room.
"Wait a minute." Guardian stated uncertainly. "Chimera, Wonder Girl, Robin, and Lucky Girl?"
"Wait, I recognize you." Wonder Girl stated. "You're Guardian; a hero."
"I do my part." Guardian said modestly.
"Then, what are you doing here?" Lucky asked suspiciously.
"I'm chief of security." Guardian stated sternly. "You're trespassing. Don't worry because we'll call in the Justice League and figure this out."
"I don't think the league will like this." Chimera retorted. "Living weapons tend to make them upset."
"Weapons? What are you…?" Guardian trailed off when the horns of the G-Gnome on her shoulder began to glow making her snarl. "Take 'em down hard! No mercy!"
The Genomorphs charged in. Robin disconnected from the computer and threw a smoke pellet at the ground before escaping via grappling hook.
Chimera dialed up a Petropia and slammed the face plate down. "Diamondhead!"
Lucky began firing off disc nailing the Genomorphs that came at her while Wonder Girl punched the remaining ones away. Diamondhead had to deal with Guardian; however, he got the sense that something fishy was up with that Genomorph on her shoulder.
That, coupled with the fact that Guardian, wasn't too dangerous made him want to end this scuffle quickly rather than hurting a fellow hero. He dodged Guardian's punch before slamming a fist into the woman's back knocking her into the wall hard enough to incapacitate.
Diamondhead noticed a lull in the action. "We're moving now!"
The group booked in in the same direction Robin took earlier with a pack of Genomorphs on their tail. They eventually found the boy wonder at another elevator.
"Way to be a team-player, Rob!" Diamondhead chided.
"Weren't you right behind me?" Robin asked sounding genuinely confused that the others had taken so long to catch up.
A moment later, the elevator opened and the four of them piled in. Fortunately, the door closed before the Genomorphs reached the elevator. Diamondhead, Lucky, and Wonder Girl sighed in relief before noticing what direction the elevator was going.
"Why are we going down?" Wonder Girl asked. "Shouldn't we be going up?"
"Excuse me?" Robin asked in an insulted tone. "Project Kr, remember? It's on sublevel fifty-two. Aren't you curious about what it is?"
Lucky and Wonder Girl looked unsure.
"We're now heading down anyways, so we might as well see what all the fuss is about." Robin shot him a thumbs-up, but Chimera continued as he transformed back to normal. "Though, I think it might be good to have some backup."
Before anyone could reach for their communicators, the elevator stopped. As soon as the doors opened, all four of the young heroes got ready to fight. Fortunately for them, there was no one there, but the sublevel was disturbing. It was like the inside of an intestine.
The only thing that reminded them that this was still a man-made facility was the occasional metal crate on the floor or a computer plugged into the wall. Cautiously, the group made their way down the hallway. Lucky looked particularly nauseous.
"What's wrong?" Robin asked.
"It's this place." Lucky informed. "I can't quite explain it, but it feels twisted."
The four finally stopped when the path forked in two directions.
"So, where to now?" Wonder Girl asked.
"Take your pick." Robin replied. "Bizarre-looking hallway one or bizarre-looking hallway two?"
"Hold!" they turned to see Dubbilex standing at the left hallway.
His horns glowed and a crate was hurled at them.
"I think our choice is made!" Chimera yelled.
He ran down the other hallway with the others right behind him. Dubbilex took only a few steps before the doors to another elevator opened. Guardian and a pack of Genomorphs ran out.
"They are heading for Project Kr!" Dubbilex shouted.
Guardian didn't even glance at Dubbilex as he led the pursuit. If he had, he might have seen the slight smile on the Genomorph's face. After a few seconds, Wonder Girl outpaced the rest whie Chimera brought up the rear.
The door into Kr was closing, so Wonder Girl used her super-strength to hold it open. Robin and Lucky were quick to enter followed by Chimera who lept into the room. Wonder Girl lunged back allowing the door to close. Robin brought up the holo-computer and typed at it furiously.
After a few seconds, a loud click could be heard. "I disabled the door, so we're safe."
"No, we're trapped." Lucky corrected.
"Hey, guys?" Chimera had recovered and was pointing at something hidden in shadows. "You might want to see this."
After he found a light-switch, the other three got a good look at what the form changer was talking about. In the center of the room there was a teenage boy, around their age, encased in a glass pod. He had a muscled form and a white, skintight jumpsuit.
Only the skin of his hands, wrists, and face were visible. His face looked far too serious for someone his age, but that was secondary to what the four heroes saw on his chest: a red, triangular shield with a large, red S inside. The crest of the House of El.
"Look at this." Lucky pointed at a Kr that was printed on the side of the pod. "Big K and little r. That's the atomic symbol for Krypton!"
"Is he a clone?" Wonder Girl asked.
"Um, let me check." Robin hacked into the computer. "Weapon designation: Superboy. A clone that was force-grown in… sixteen weeks!? Created from DNA acquired from Superman and powered by something they call The Receiver."
"More like stolen from Superman." Chimera retorted.
"The solar-suit he's wearing allows him to absorb yellow-sun radiation twenty-four-seven." Robin continued.
"No way Superman knows about this." Wonder Girl stated.
"Guys." Lucky stated.
The three of them looked at the magic user who was standing in front of the pod with her hand hovering close to the glass.
"What is it?" Robin asked, "Is he like the hallway back there?"
"No, he's not messed up like everything else here." Lucky looked above the clone's head and saw three smaller Genomorphs perched there. "What're those things doing?"
Robin pulled up another file. "Genomorph Gnomes. They're telepathic and force-feeding him an education."
"And who knows what else." Wonder Girl commented. "They're making a slave out of Superman's… son."
"Now we contact the League." Chimera reached for his communicator; however, nothing happened.
"We're in too deep." Robin stated. "Literally."
Outside the Door
Guardian waited patiently, along with nearly a hundred Genomorphs. With mild irritation, she turned to see Dr. Desmond sprinting towards them with Dubbilex right behind him.
"They're still in there with the weapon!?" The scientist raged.
"We can't get the door open." Guardian calmly explained.
"Use your telekinesis!" Desmond shouted at Dubbilex.
"I have tried to no avail." The Genomorph retorted.
"Useless!" Desmond yelled. "Get some G-Trolls down here to muscle the door open!"
"They're already on their way." Guardian replied.
"You do realize that once we get in there, we can't let them leave." Desmond said slowly.
"Doc, these aren't you typical 'meddling kids'." Guardian said in a warning tone. "You don't want to get on the wrong side of the Justice League."
"Better than getting on the wrong side of the Cadmus Board of Directors, believe me." Desmond then glanced at the G-Gnome on his shoulder. "Contact the G-Gnomes inside Project Kr."
The G-Gnome's horns began to glow.
lrbrenneke: Sorry, but in canon, when Malware did the same thing, it stopped the Omnitrix from accepting Conductoid DNA as a failsafe messure. Even if there are other forms of Tetramand, the Omnitrix wouldn't take to it.
kirito21naga: Yeah, shipping will happen. As for Ben Prime coming here, well that guy does get around to various universes.
Jay(Guest): Yeah, there were always seasonal gimmicks.
The One Beyond You: At the time, Ben did think he killed Malware there until the guy popped back up. So yeah, he survived, but in in story, Ben nor Hal would have known that. I don't think the crustatian will be involved. As for what the schematic has to do with all this... you got technically the right age Ben, but wrong series. Sevantis is involved here.
johnymike98: Eh, we'll see.
Heroking(Guest): I might utilize some of them.
