A/N: I tried to get this one out as quickly as possible. :) I wanted to make it longer but I've got some personal stuff going on, so I might not be able to update again for a couple of days. Sorry in advance! Anyways, I hope you all enjoy. Thank you for all the support I've been getting, it really means the world to me!

When Monday morning rolled around, I decided to heed McGonagall's suggestion and just stayed in my dorm. I had risen early, as usual, and was enjoying a cup of tea by the fire.

"Good morning," Hermione chirped, heading towards the portrait hole.

"Hey, can you tell McGonagall I won't be in any classes today?" I asked, taking a moment to look at her as she paused. She was wearing her dark grey skirt today, with a white blouse tucked into it, tights, and her tie hung loosely around her collar. She looked good to say the least. Stop that, Malfoy. This is Granger. Your roommate, former enemy, and Potter's friend. His single friend, I mused.

The brunette snapped me out of my thoughts by asking, "Oh, are you feeling alright?" Taken slightly aback but the note of concern in her voice, I nodded slowly. Debating whether I should tell her about Lucius or not.

"Yes I guess I'm alright..." I paused, McGonagall would surely tell her anyways so why not. "Lucius escaped Azkaban and he took my mother. They're both in hiding. I'm waiting to hear more information, and frankly am quite stressed out."

The witch's eyes grew with shock at this revelation, and her dainty mouth was agape. "Oh my god, are you okay?"

I let out a sigh, "To be honest, I'm worried for my mother. Lucius wasn't the best husband, let's just say that." She nodded solemnly, understanding.

I began to feel awkward as a silence sat between us. This had been the most personal we had been together. Had I said too much?

"You should probably go or you'll be late," I said, breaking the silence. Hermione nodded quickly, seeming to be brought out of her pensive reverie. She quickly turned on her heel and waled out the portrait hole.

I let out a pent up breath and felt my shoulders relax. I couldn't believe that I admitted all of that to her. I could see myself telling Blaise, since he was my closest mate, but not her. Yet it felt so easy to say it, the words were just falling out. It was just something about her soft honey coloured eyes, and thoughtful expression that made it seem like she was giving me her undivided attention. It was if she actually wanted to talk to me...

The day ended up dragging by painstakingly slowly. I ended up mostly lounging around, reading, and intermittently falling asleep by the crackling fire. When I last woke up, I saw it had gotten dark out and the embers were barely alive. A fluffy burgundy blanket was draped over me and a small smile graced my lips.

I stood up and groaned. My muscles were stiff and sore from my awkward sleeping position. Shaking myself out as I walked, I strode over to Granger's room and knocked gently. No reply. Figuring she was out at the library or something, I turned the nob and went in. I stopped in my tracks upon seeing her lying in bed. The moonlight glistened across her pale skin, and I noticed she was only wearing a small tank top. I felt my cheeks turn a bit red. She looked sexy as hell.

I crept silently over to her and draped the blanket over top of her, covering her to keep her warm. She stirred slightly, let out a sigh and then mumbled, "Draco?" I almost didn't hear it, it was so faint. I stood silently and as still as possible, waiting for her to move or speak again. "Mmmm Draco," she purred.

My eyes grew wide, hearing her say my name in such a seductive way. But her eyes remained closed, so it was surely just a dream. But it was a dream about me...and clearly I was doing something she liked... I held back a chuckle.

I turned away from her bed and silently padded out her door and into my room. Stripping down to my boxers, I crawled into bed and gazed up at my ceiling. God, I would kill to know what Granger was dreaming about. Was I kissing her? Making love to her? Fucking her? God, it all sounded wonderful.

I shot out of bed in a flash, shaking my head to rid me of those thoughts. Merlin, get your act together. You're clearly seeing her too much.

But then again, maybe he was finally really seeing her.

A/N: Sorry it's short, but I wanted to have at least something for you all to read! I'll post again as soon as I can. :)
