Chap. 4

"Hey babe." Haruka's smile widened briefly, shoulders relaxing if just slightly. Usagi knew not everything could go in her favor, seeing the teal haired woman wrap her arms around Haruka's shoulders and giving her the daintiest kisses. The Queen felt as though she was interfering, even in her old timeline it took time to woo her Love. She isn't a Queen without determination however, so she cleared her throat politely.

"Ah, I apologize. Babe this is Usagi, Usagi this is Michiru Kaiou-"

"Japan's number one Violinist and competitive Swimmer. A pleasure."

Michiru shot her girlfriend an amused smirk, Haruka's own smirk plain as day. Holding out her hand Usagi took it into a shake.

They both pulled back as a current of lighting ran through their systems. Blinking in surprise, Usagi's smile grew. "So what were you two talking about before I oh so rudely interrupted?" The wavy haired woman asked.

Haruka smiled sweetly, "Nothing besides how she's a big fan of mine, and yours if her introduction is anything to go by."

Usagi playfully did a curtsy, feeling the normal banter she would have with her Senshi flow freely.

"Usagi?! Has anyone seen my daughter?" Said girl cringed looking back to see her father asking people where she might be.

Looking back to the couple she had an idea. "How about you two act like you found me?"

"And why should I?" Michiru asked.

Calling for her tears on command was nothing, thoroughly freaking out the couple as she made a big fuss. Haruka acted quickly, pulling the bunny close with Michiru on her other side. "Sir? Sir, we found your daughter!"

Kenji turned around quickly spotting his daughter and hurriedly approached them. "Oh sweetheart, there you are!" Upon hearing his calling, she dislocated herself from the blonde and quickly hugged her father. "Thank you both, we were looking for her when she didn't come back. She has a tendency to get lost, sometimes accidentally running into people."

Haruka and Michiru looked on in bewilderment, spotting the hidden smile the girl now sported. "It's no problem sir, she looked awfully lost and blubbering about displacing her family."

Chuckling he nodded empathetically, "She has an odd way of framing her words. How about this, for repayment you have dinner with is. And before you start-"

"That's a great idea!" Whirling around she faced the couple again, "Please?! My mom makes the best Pork Tonkatsu, and Orange Chicken!" Usagi then promptly swoons, drool just barely peeking out of the corner of her mouth.

Despite the mini play they received, they agreed happily.

The couple arrived without much fanfare. Michiru took the drivers seat, Shingo still tried to act like a normal person, and her parents being the best hosts they can be. As they settled Usagi learned something new.

"So, how old are you anyhow? Not to be rude but you look very nice- ow!"

Smiling sweetly Ikuko waved her hand lazily, "Ignore him, it appears he doesn't have any type of manners."

As she watched Shingo sink in his chair, she kept her ears open to the surprising answer. "Well, me and Michiru are in fact 18. We finished school not too long ago," the dirty blonde answered.

"Ah, and how long have you been together?" Ikuko mentions between the two guests. Their shoulders bunching, even just briefly, made the blue haired woman smile. "No need to fear dears, we're accepting of anyone no matter who you love."

Nodding her head Michiru answered, "If I may be honest? 2 and a half months."

Usagi's eyebrows jumped in surprise, in her last time line they've been together for who knows how long, they were also younger. In fact everyone was younger, sans Momaru she suspects.

"Ahh, young love~"

"Mooomm…"

The bluenette smiled brightly ignoring her children and claps her hands softly. "I hope you both have a prosperous life together!"

It finally dawned on her that she was a Junior, an 11th grader. Usagi quietly groaned and rubbed at her temples.

"Honey, are you alright?" Looking up Usagi noted the worried look her mother sported, her father more or less more invested in his paper. The couple threw quick looks at her in curiosity.

"Yeah mom, I'm fine. Just… Remembering something. May I be excused?"

Nodding her consent, the silver haired girl picked up her empty plate and distributed it into their kitchen sink. Her Queen instincts kicking in, she popped her head back into the dining room. "Do you guys have a place to stay?"

They both frowned and the aquanette shook her head in the negative. "I'll get my bedroom ready then." Without hearing their confirmations or negative assertions she went upstairs to clean up her room, as if she needed to do so.

Ikuko chuckled and laid her hands on the blondes hand. "If you truly don't have a place to stay, we insist you stay here. She could have been more polite about it but she isn't my daughter for nothing."

The couple looked at each other and nodded their consent, right as the bluenette started cleaning up the rest of the utensils. "She's the first door on the left upstairs."

With that the couple bid their goodnight and headed upstairs.
