A/N: Hello friends, happy Halloween!

This story is a T70S AU based on the "Scream" movie franchise and the TV show. That being said, there will be deaths, this story will be very, very bloody, and I plan on making it slightly disturbing but I doubt I have the writing abilities to do such thing.

I would like to send a huge thank you to the bohemian flow for basically being my beta for this story, and to MistyMountainHop for reassuring me about the plot and making me confident about it again. If it weren't for them, I probably wouldn't have gone forwards with this.

That being said, this chapter starts with a sexual assault scene, so please, feel free to skip it if it triggers you.

Chapter one:

Jackie smiled as she carefully placed her pompoms inside her bag. She was extremely proud of herself. Not only did she nail the routine, but the Vikings managed to win the game, and that almost never happens.

"You're staying for the party, Jackie?" Rebecca, one of the girls from the squad asked, and Jackie shook her head.

After every single game, the football team and the cheerleading squad wait for all the adults to be gone so they can reunite and throw a party right in the middle of the football field, with lots of beer and pot. It's tradition at this point. Normally, Jackie would attend with Steven by her side, but he wasn't here, and she wasn't in the mood to party with her cheerleader friends.

"No, I think I'm going to see if Steven's back home" Jackie answered "He couldn't come today and I miss him"

"Oh, okay" The girl smiled "See you Monday in class?"

"Sure" Jackie replied, smiling back at her.

With that, Rebecca stepped out of the cheerleading locker room, leaving Jackie alone. She adjusted her bag on her shoulder and left the locker room as well, locking the door behind her.

Then she felt someone roughly grabbing her wrist, and her bag fell with a loud thump as this person started to forcefully drag her away.

"Hey!" She whined, unsuccessfully trying to remove her arm from the stranger's grip.

Jackie whimpered in pain when the stranger tightened his hold on her, her eyes trying to focus on who the hell was this person.

The person was wearing a black hoodie, and judging by the height and the strength of the hold in her arm, she was pretty sure the person dragging her was a guy. But it couldn't be Steven, Michael, Fez, or Eric, neither of them would ever treat her this way.

Also, they were currently busy, shooting fireworks at a random cow field somewhere after Michael begged them to. He claimed that now that he's a father, he barely has the time to do irresponsible things anymore, and after a lot of whining, he managed to convince Fez to postpone his date with Pam Macy by a few hours, convince Eric to get off his butt and do something, and he also convinced Steven to drive them in his car.

Like the amazing boyfriend he is, Steven asked her if it was okay for him to skip this game and go with the guys, and Jackie, like the amazing girlfriend she is, said it was okay.

She was very much regretting her decision right now.

The guy was still hauling her as if she was a rag doll. She couldn't see his face because his oversized black hoodie mostly covered it. Her chest tightened and her eyes filled with tears, she'd be lying if she said she wasn't freaking out right now.

She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. Crying isn't going to get her out of this one, she needs answers.

"Who are you?!" Jackie exclaimed, trying to sound like her usual bitchy and bossy self, and failing miserably at it. She could almost physically see the fear dripping from her voice.

The strong wind drowned out her inquiry, but the guy heard her, because he tightened the grip on her wrist even more, making her flinch in pain. It's almost as if a snake was constricting itself around her, cutting off her circulation as the pressure of his hold increased. She was definitely going to have a bruise later.

The stranger didn't respond, and Jackie felt herself being pulled away from the world. The locker room and football field were getting farther and farther away, she could barely crane her neck to look back at it with longing, she couldn't even hear the crowd anymore.

Her heart was racing, and she was having trouble breathing as her mind kept trying to process what was going on at the same she was being forced to follow this man into the unknown. She had been scared before – when Steven fell from the water tower, when her daddy was arrested, when her mom left her without even a penny to buy food… But she was never afraid for her life. It was a horrible feeling.

"Ow! You're hurting me!" She whimpered, but the stranger didn't care. In fact, she could swear she heard him chuckling.

She looked around, trying to decide if she should yell for help or not, what if her pleas for help startle him? What if he has a gun, or a knife? She couldn't risk it. Not now. Not while she still had the chance to escape.

She felt him shoving her against a wall, and she let out a small, painful yelp as her back made contact with the concrete. Her wrists got pinned above her head by this creep, preventing her from defending herself. She was trapped.

Her breath hitched and her eyes widened in horror when she felt his other hand slip under her skirt, cupping her ass as he played with the hem of her underwear.

That's when she realized what this pervert wanted, and she felt bile rising in her throat.

This couldn't be happening, this can't happen, she needs to get out, she needs to get help.

"Stop it! Let me go!" Jackie cried, but her desperate plea was ignored as usual.

Finally, he looked up, and she could finally see who this criminal was.

She felt like she could see demons in his icy, cold blue eyes, that were piercing into her mismatched ones. There was a malicious glint in his dead eyes, and her feeling of dread only increased. Long dark brown strands poked out from underneath the dark hoodie.

Then he smiled, and she recognized him.

It was the same smile that made many of her "friends" from the cheerleading squad swoon, the same triumphant smile he gives whenever he scores a touchdown, whenever he manages to get away with all sort of messed up stuff because of the power held by his last name.

She was staring at the face of the most popular guy in school, the guy many people worship because he knows how to run fast while holding a weirdly-shaped ball in his arms, the perfect mixture of Andy Gibb and John Travolta, the son of one of the richest guys in Wisconsin.

She was staring at Jake Bradley.

"Jake Bradley? What the hell?!"

"Hello, Jackie" Jake greeted her, his voice husky and scary. He moved his mouth to her neck, and he slowly pressed a kiss on her soft, porcelain skin, looking up at her again with a sick, twisted grin on his face "I've been wanting to do this for a while."

"Why?" Jackie asked, not being able to mask the fear in her voice "What are you going to do with me?"

"I'm going to have my way with you, just like I always wanted to," He said, squeezing her breast with his free hand and making her wince in pain and disgust "I got sick of waiting for you to be single, so I'm gonna fuck you, and you can go back to your delinquent boyfriend later" He scoffed "I don't give a shit"

Jackie felt like someone had just thrown an icy bucket of water at her "What?! I'm not going to have sex with you! Let me go!"

Instead of letting her go, he tightened the grip on her wrists and started to rub himself on her. Jackie tried her best to put some space between them, but she was powerless. She started to sob when she felt his hot breath on her face, her head moving from side to side in an attempt to avoid the kiss he was trying so hard to plant on her lips.

"Jake, please, let me go!" Jackie begged him

"Hell no, Burkhart. I waited too long for this. You won't leave until I'm done with you" Bradley hissed, pressing his body harder against hers and grabbing her face with his other hand, forcing her to look him in the eye as he started to dehumanize her in the most awful way possible.

"I – I have a boyfriend, you know that!" Jackie tried to sound threatening, but her voice was breaking and it was taking all of her strength for her not to break down crying right now. She wouldn't manage to intimidate an ant at this point "And he's… He's going to kick your ass!"

"Your boy toy is not here right now, is he?" Jake retorted with a wicked smirk "And he won't do anything to me after this. Not if he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life in prison." He rubbed himself against her again "You know what my dad can do…"

Tears left her eyes at the thought of something happening to Steven. Her Steven. God… He's probably never going to look at her the same way ever again after this.

That is, if she decides to tell him.

Steven is the love of her life, but… She can't deny that he has a darker side. A darker side that's always activated whenever something serious happens to her or one of their friends. But most especially her.

There was this one day… It was right after they became public. They were at the line to get some popcorn at the drive-in, they were having fun, until some guy groped her and made disgusting comments about her, and Steven just… He lost it. She had never seen him so violent before, she could see the moment the light left his eyes, and was replaced by this strange darkness she couldn't recognize. She had to put herself in front of the guy – who at that point, was a pile of flesh and blood on the ground – to stop Steven from actually killing him.

She just knows, if she tells him, he's going to snap again. The anger will take over him, and she doesn't know if she'll be able to make him stop.

And if he even lays a hand on Jake… His dad would definitely make sure that Steven never sees the light of day again.

She can't let that happen, she has to get away, and she can never, ever tell him about this.

"Let me go!" Jackie urgently repeated, making another feeble attempt to escape. Jake pushed her harder against the wall, making her head hit hard against the concrete.

"Let me go, Jake. Please!" She pleaded, but he ignored her.

His hand made its way back under her skirt again, and she tried to close her legs in an attempt to stop him, but it was to no avail. Jake roughly put his knee in between her thighs to block her from stopping him, and she just gave up.

Her sobs intensified, Jake Bradley was going to rape her, and there's nothing she can do about it.

Then she heard footsteps, and for the first time since this jerk grabbed her, she felt a spark of hope sparkling on her chest. She silently thanked the universe and prayed that whoever this person was, they could hear her cries of help.

"HELP!" Jackie yelled as loud as she could, making Jake cringe.

"Shut up, you stupid bitch!" He yelled back, slapping her face as hard as he could.

She tried to kick him as she kept on yelling, and Jake let go of her wrists, trying to cover her mouth with his hands in an attempt to shut her up.

Big mistake.

She shoved him off of her and kneed him in the groin, just like Steven taught her to do, and he fell down to the ground, whimpering in pain.

"YOU BITCH!" He yelled as he tried to catch his breath, and Jackie started to run away as fast as she could, hoping she did enough damage to keep him from following her.

She didn't look back, she just kept running, ignoring her pain and his angry shouts for her to come back. At this moment, all she wanted to do was to put as much distance as possible between her and this monster.

As she ran in the darkness, her only source of light being the moon's silvery glow, she ran into something. Or someone, rather.

Her heart skipped a beat, Jake couldn't have caught up with her so fast… could he?

She was about to run away again when the person gently grabbed her shoulders.

"Jackie? Oh my God! What happened?!" She heard Donna's concerned voice and raised her head to look at her.

The second she saw her newly-blonde friend, she wrapped her arms around her and broke down in sobs.

Donna was taken aback when Jackie threw her arms around her and held her as tight as she could, but she instantly hugged her back.

She looked down at her midget friend, noticing the state she was in. Jackie's face was just as red as a tomato, her mascara was streaking down her cheeks, her hair was a wild mess, her cheerleading uniform was ruined, and she was sobbing uncontrollably. She has never, ever, seen her friend crying the way she is today, and she had seen Jackie crying a lot of times.

Jackie would never let herself be seen in public like this, someone did this to her. Donna's green eyes scanned through the area, searching for whoever did this to her friend, but she found no one.

"Take me away from here, please" Jackie managed to say in between her heavy sobs, and Donna nodded.

She wrapped her arm around Jackie's shoulders and used the other one to keep her head tucked into her chest, protecting her from the curious eyes of the bystanders they were about to pass by to get to her dad's El Dorado.

Donna silently cursed the lack of adult supervision in Point Place when she saw that the party at the field was even more crowded than the game was less than half an hour ago. She made sure Jackie was safe under her wing as they started to walk through the crowd.

Some curious eyes landed on them, but Donna's nasty scowl prevented them from asking any questions.

Donna felt someone poking her back, and she sighed before turning around.

"What?" She asked, her jaw clenching in anger.

"Well, well, it looks like my fiery red-headed princess is now my blonde fiery princess," Mitch Miller greeted, smiling flirtatiously at Donna "Long time no see, Donna. Did you miss me?"

"Not now, Mitch," Donna said curtly, resuming her walk, with Mitch following behind her like a puppy.

"C'mon, let's catch up! You still with Forman? Because…"

Donna glared at him and pointed at the crying Jackie that was still wailing on her chest, hoping Mitch would create some sense and leave them alone for now.

"God, what happened to her?" Mitch asked curiously, eyeing the brunette in Donna's arms.

"None of your business" Donna snapped, taking her keys out of her back pocket and helping Jackie into the car "See you later, Mitch"

Jackie was sitting at the Pinciotti's kitchen table, her hair was damp from the shower Donna made her take, and she was wearing one of Donna's robes.

She stared at the hot cocoa mug Donna handed to her a few minutes ago, trying to process everything that happened in the last hour.

Jake Bradley was going to rape her. He was going to actually rape her. If Donna hadn't shown up, she would've lived through every woman's worst nightmare.

She could still feel his hands on her, leaving bruises on her skin as he tried to force her to have sex with him. It didn't matter that she took a shower, she still felt dirty, and probably would for a while.

Her eyes filled with tears again. How can someone be so cruel? How can someone do something like this to another person? How many other girls has he done that before? Was she victim #1 or victim #20?

She felt bile rising in her throat, the sweet smell of the hot cocoa wasn't helping, so she pushed the mug away from her.

Jake probably did worse to other girls, and he would serve no consequence, all because his daddy made sure to pay off every single cop of the town.

Just like he made sure to sell out her dad to keep himself from getting in trouble.

Bradley's are bad people.

"What should I do with your uniform?" Donna asked as she entered the kitchen, breaking Jackie out of her thoughts.

"Throw it out" Jackie answered curtly, wiping the few tears that managed to escape her eyes during the period she was alone in the kitchen.

"But Jackie… You should give this to the police, this is evidence, and…"

Jackie interrupted her "The police's not going to know about this. Just… Please, throw it away"

"Jackie, you have to tell the cops about what happened!" Donna said, sitting next to her "He can't get away with this!"

"He will get away with this whether I tell the cops or not, Donna" Jackie replied, her voice hoarse and tired "His father is one of the most powerful men in Wisconsin, he owns half the town. You and I both know that if I go to the police, I'll be the one getting in trouble"

"Jackie, did he actually…?" Donna apprehensively trailed off, and Jackie shook her head at the implication.

"No, he was going to, but you found me on time," Jackie said, choking back tears again "God, why can't I stop crying?"

Donna gently placed her hand on her friend's shoulder "Because you just went through something traumatic. It's okay for you to cry, Jackie"

"Well, I better cry everything today, because tomorrow…" She started to say, her vision getting cloudy as the back of her eyes burned, producing more tears by the second "Because tomorrow, I'm going to see Steven, and he…"

"Oh my God, Hyde!" Donna gasped "He's going to like, freak the hell out, Jackie!"

"I know" Jackie sniffled, not bothering to wipe her face anymore "I don't know if I'll tell him"

"Jackie, you…" Donna took a deep breath, trying to figure out what to say "He's your boyfriend, you have to tell him. I mean, he'll probably find out the second he sees these ugly bruises"

Jackie immediately pulled down the sleeve of Donna's robe, covering the ugly black and purple bruise on her wrist.

"It's fall, which means I can wear long sleeves all the time and no one will be suspicious" Jackie said unconvincingly. She knew that she would never manage to keep this a secret from Steven, a guy who can read her like a book. She just didn't want him to ruin his life once he does find out.

Donna sent her a look, and Jackie sighed in defeat.

"I'll tell him," Jackie said, her eyes fixed on the ugly red centerpiece on the table "God, he's going to be so mad…"

"You can't possibly think he's going to be mad at you,"

"He won't be mad at me" Jackie replied "He's… He's going to be mad at Jake. Like, really mad. He never liked him, and now… I'm afraid he's going to do something really stupid"

"So? Let him kick Jake's ass! The bastard deserves it!"

"Kicking the ass of someone with money is incredibly stupid, Donna," Jackie stated obviously "Like, really stupid. This is America, don't you know that the rich can get away with anything?"

Donna grimaced and took a deep breath "Yeah, I know"

"Jake said it himself… that if… if Steven tries something against him, then his dad will make sure he'll rot in jail for the rest of his life" Jackie cried "And I don't doubt that. Jake's dad is not a cool guy, Donna. I don't know if you remember this, but he was in the same corruption scheme as my dad. But Jake's dad managed to get away with it by throwing all the blame on my dad. I hate him"

"Hyde's not known for his good temper…" Donna mumbled. Then she spoke seriously "Still, you should tell him, Jackie. In fact, you should tell everyone, because what this guy did was just…"

"I will, I just… I just need to find a way to break it to him in a way that won't make him be arrested for murder" Jackie answered, sniffling "I'll tell our friends after that. But just them, okay? I don't want the whole town knowing about this, because if Jake's dad finds out, he's going to go after me and ruin my life"

"Maybe you can tell him after a circle?" Donna suggested, but Jackie shook her head

"I'm afraid that'll just feed all of his stupid thoughts and he'll end up doing something even more stupid, like stealing one of Mrs. Forman's knives and…"

Donna interrupted her, looking horrified "Jesus Christ Jackie, you don't think he would…?"

"Donna, how far would you go to protect someone you love?" Jackie asked seriously "If someone hurt Eric, wouldn't you want to make justice?"

Donna stayed quiet for a few seconds, but then she nodded dejectedly.

"I get it," She said, and Jackie managed to give her a shadow of a smile

"Thank you for saving me today, Donna," Jackie said, grabbing Donna's giant hands in hers "I don't know what would've happened to me if you didn't show up"

Donna smiled "Well, Eric always says that I have an excellent timing"

Jackie nodded gratefully and rescued back the hot cocoa mug, and her eyes landed on the newspaper sitting near them. Desperate for a change of subject, Jackie pointed at it.

"Hey, is this from today?"

"Yeah, it is" Donna answered, grabbing the newspaper and giving it to Jackie

"I can't believe tomorrow it's going to make a year since that happened," Jackie said sadly as she eyed the picture of the remains of what once was Point Place's mental hospital "Time flies by really fast"

"I know," Donna said "They finally found out why it collapsed though, after a whole year."

"Really?" Jackie asked curiously, glad that what happened to her wasn't the topic of the conversation anymore

"Yeah, they're saying the whole building collapsed because there was a huge corruption scheme going on for over 10 years" Donna explained "Apparently, they weren't getting the money they were supposed to for repairs and stuff, and after a pipe broke, the whole building just… Well, you know the rest"

Jackie nodded "I'm surprised it took them a year to find out the cause. I mean, a person died in there! That poor old man, I hope his family finally finds some peace now"

Donna smiled sadly "I'm sure they will, midget. You want to sleep here tonight?"

Jackie shook her head negatively "No, my mom's in town, and I don't like to leave her alone in the house for the night"

"Is she drinking again?"

"No, in order for her to start drinking again, she would have to stop drinking in the first place, and that never really happened," Jackie said bitterly, and Donna offered Jackie a sympathetic smile

"Come on, I'll drive you home," Donna offered, and Jackie gave her a quick hug before following her out of the kitchen.

"I can't believe Kelso did this!" Pam angrily exclaimed as Fez parked the car on the outside of her house, looking upset.

"Well, I'm not that bad, you know…" Fez replied in his defense, but Pam's hardened glare made him shut up.

"Are you kidding me? You are literally the creepiest guy I have ever seen!" She shrilled, opening the car door "I am going to KILL Kelso the next time I see him! He said HE was the one who was going to take me out!"

"Oh, you're so silly! Kelso is dating Brooke, everyone knows that"

"Oh please," Pam rolled her eyes "Everyone knows that Kelso's not a faithful guy. Look, whatever. Just tell him his 'master plan' to get you a girlfriend did not work, and that he's going to pay for this!"

"But..." Fez whined, but Pam cut him off with another death glare

"You picked me up for the date when it was over 10!" She yelled, "I know I have a reputation, but I'm not a fucking hooker!"

"But that wasn't my fault! A cow stepped on Eric's foot earlier and we had to drive him to the hospital!"

"And then, you took me to eat at Fatso Burger!" Pam said, ignoring his explanation "Fatso Burger! I had to eat those awful, fattening burgers in a place surrounded by ugly clowns and kids' boogers!"

"Again, it is not my fault that the other restaurants in Point Place were closed," Fez tried to reason, but she interrupted him

"They were closed because you're the only moron who takes girls out on dates at this hour of the night!"

"But…"

"Shut up! I'm leaving!" Pam yelled as she left the car

Fez watched as the blonde grabbed her keys from her purse, and he winced when he heard her slamming her front door when she entered her house. He started up his engine and made a mental note to slap Kelso tomorrow when he sees him. It was the Suzy Simpson situation all over again!

Pam breathed in relief when she finally entered her house. She sighed happily when she realized she couldn't smell Fez's nauseating cologne anymore. She spent almost two hours stuck with him, and she was afraid her nose would never be the same again.

She turned the lights on and threw her purse on her dad's chair. No noise. Only the sweet sound of silence. After spending the last hours next to a guy who literally pestered her to have sex with him every two seconds, the silence was more than welcome.

Pam still couldn't believe the afternoon she had. She was so stupid! Instead of going to the party over at school, she opted to go on a date with a guy that didn't even show up and sent his weird friend to take his place.

The silence got boring after a few seconds though, so Pam turned the stereo on and put it on the maximum volume. Her dad was out of town on a business trip, and her mom was with him, so she had the house to herself, meaning, she could listen to music as loud as she wants to.

She smiled as "I Want You Back" by The Jackson 5 started to play, and she moved to the kitchen to grab a beer, and a decent snack, all while humming to the song under her breath.

"Oh, baby give me one more chance…" She sang along with the band, standing on her tip toes to grab the family-sized bag of potato chips from the top cabinet.

Once the potato chips were safe in her hands, she left them on top of the counter as she walked to the fridge to grab a nice – and hopefully frosty – beer.

"Ooh ooh baby…" She sang on top of her lungs, with a big smile on her face. Nothing better to forget a horrible date than to pretend you're a famous singer performing in Vegas.

Then the song abruptly stopped, and she frowned in confusion. Her dad bought one of the best stereos available not that long ago, there's no way it stopped working already.

She left the beer and the snacks in the kitchen as she walked back to the living room to check on why the hell did her music stop playing all of a sudden. And right in the middle of her show too.

Her heart started pounding inside her chest when she crouched near the stereo and noticed that it was unplugged. She turned her head around and noticed that the front door was ajar, and her breath hitched.

She'd seen way too many horror movies to know what that means.

Before she could even think about doing something, a big and strong hand aggressively grasped the back of her neck and yanked her up.

"NO!" She yelled, raising her hands to try and get herself free. It didn't work, and a large blade slammed through her abdomen.

Pam let out a tortured whimper as the killer removed the knife from her stomach. The pain was excruciating, her body involuntarily shook, and she started to feel the metallic taste of blood on her mouth. She looked down, and she saw blood cascading from her exit wound, her mother's beloved white tapestry turning into a bright shade of red.

The killer's grip on her neck strengthened, and he forcefully threw her on the couch. She let out a pathetic and painful groan, watching as the tall stranger climbed on top of her and slashed her throat open with his big knife.

And the last thing she saw before the darkness, was the face of Fatso the clown, smiling sadistically at her as she ceased to exist.

A/N: So... yeah, that was kind of intense.

I'm really sorry you guys had to read that first scene, believe me, it's important to the story, I would never have written it otherwise.

And in case it wasn't clear: the actual Fatso the clown is not real, the killer is just using a mask to cover their face. I figured that Ghostface was a little overused.

I plan on updating this story once a week, most of it it's already pre-written so I think it'll work out, but please be patient in case it won't, lol.

That being said, I'm really looking forwards to reading your theories about who the killer is! You can share them over here in the comments, or on my tumblr blog! I spent a really long time working on this story and I really want to know what you guys thought about it!

In the next chapter, Hyde finds out about what happened, and the whole town finds out about Pam Macy's death.
