Shaking her head she didn't want to become depressed and looked over at the bar counter since she was sitting in one of the empty tables as she had finished cleaning up the place. Usually Elena was chatty and upbeat even though she was clumsy sometimes but her brown eyes seemed to hold some sadness to them. The female Turk looked at the owner of the bar and spoke up.
"Are you closing now or is there still time for me to get a drink?"
Hearing her voice Tifa quickly responded.
"I'm still open for another hour so sure I can get you something. I was about to make some tea if you want any?"
Elena thought for a moment before nodding, then she made her way over the nearest table sitting down in one of the empty chairs. Tifa went over to the cabinet behind the bar to pull out a tea pot she kept in the event she or her customers wanted something other then booze and began to fill the pot.
There was nothing but silence in the bar as Tifa finished filling the pot taking it to the kitchen along with the box of tea. She set the tea pot on the stove and turned it on. She then open the box and could see that it was tea leaves and the color they had was like the leaves that fell from trees during Autumn. But the most noticeable thing was the smell coming from them. "I'll have to ask Yuffie what these are called when I see her. But I wonder what's up with Elena? She doesn't seem like herself."
Deciding to have a chat with her the young brunette made her way out of the kitchen to where her guest was still sitting with a depressed look staring off into space. Making her way over to the blond she sat down in front of her, startling her guest.
"Sorry about that Elena, didn't mean for that to happen." Tifa apologized.
Elena sighed before waving it off.

"Would you like to talk about it?" Tifa asked since she could see that Reno and Rude's friend might need someone to chat with to help her out.
"Honestly no I don't want to since it feels like me and Tseng aren't really going anywhere in this relationship." Elena then groaned while pinching the end of her nose as she opened her big mouth again. She knew she had a bad habit of letting things slip now and then.
Tifa was surprised to hear this from the blond Turk as she honestly thought that the two of them were an item so to speak. She couldn't help but wanting to know more and maybe help her. True the two of them were enemies before but the crisis with Sephiroth being dealt with things have been peaceful around Midgar. With that thought in mind she decided to open up to her.
"Elena if you don't want to talk about it that's fine but I honestly think it will help you feel better. Plus I'm not Reno who is like a gossiping old lady who would go around telling other people."
Her guest couldn't help but chuckle at the remark that was made about the red head since Reno was like that at times.
"I'll agree with you on that one as I thought about talking to him or even Rude, but then I remember Reno does like to gossip and can be a pain in the ass at times. Rude is okay to chat with now and then but honestly those two wouldn't know about relationship's at all. Hell I'm surprised those two are still single though Rude did have a crush on you once."
The female bartender nodded as she, Cloud and Aerith had overheard him and Reno talking before on who they had a crush on while they were trying to save the world from Shinra and later Sephiroth.
"I'm going to check on the tea and see if it's ready. I'll bring you a cup and how do you take it?"
Elena thought for a moment before shrugging.
"I usually take it with sugar but I usually try it without it first to see if I need to add it or not."
Tifa nodded and made her way back into the kitchen to get the both of them their drinks. As she was doing that Elena could only watch her while sighing sadly while thinking to herself.
( That girl is so lucky to have a guy like Cloud considering what they went through together saving the world. I just wish Tseng would give me the time of the day once in a while. )
She soon heard Tifa approaching carrying to coffee mugs that were filled with tea. As soon as both cups were set down Elena's nose caught the scent of the tea and was amazed by it.

"Great now I'm not so sure about this stuff." Elena frowned while wondering if this tea might cause them to get bad gas or something else.
"Well might as well give it try and if anything happens we can always get back at her. My friends and I did so a few times." Tifa said as she sat down across from her guest and picked up her cup before taking a small sip of it. Her eyes widen a little as she looked down at her cup.

"I think you should get dressed and wait up here while I deal with her."
Elena nodded as she decided to do as she was told, though she wondered what she was going to do about this and wondered if Tseng was looking for her?

Yuffie sat in one of the chairs at the bar as she fidgeted in her seat. As she waited for her friend to show up she could only look down at the table as her hands were clenched together. It was then she heard footsteps and looked up to see Tifa coming down the stairs making her way toward her.
Tifa could see that Yuffie looked agitated but had a good idea as to why though a part of her wondering if this was another trick of Yuffie's but she decided to give her a chance for now. Standing in front of her with her arms crossed she looked at the female ninja.
"So Yuffie mind telling me why you're here this early at my bar?" ( Though I have a pretty good idea why. ) Tifa silently said to herself as she waited for her answer.
The young warrior from the Wutai village smiled nervously while scratching the back of her head. She honestly didn't want to be here right now but knew that she had to make things right with her friend otherwise there would be serious consequences. Taking a deep breath she began to talk.
"Look Tifa about that tea I gave you it was the wrong one and I'm serious about this! I meant to give you and Cloud a different kind of tea but I ended up bumping into someone and we dropped what we had. I wasn't paying attention and I grabbed this guy's tea instead of mine!"
Yuffie took a moment to catch her breath before continuing.
"I didn't know that I sent you the wrong brand until this guy came to where I lived and showed me the box of tea. I was so shocked and scared that I didn't know what to do! This guy even gave me this letter to send to whoever that got the tea that it was sent to so you got to believe me!"
Yuffie reached into her pocket and handed it to Tifa. The female bartender took it and decided to read over what was on it. She noticed two things about the letter and that this was not Yuffie's hand writing as she had seen her hand writing when she wrote letters to everyone. She began to read over the letter.
"To whoever read's this I hope that you read this letter soon. I had bought this beverage so that my wife and I would enjoy a erotic experience that nobody would know but sadly I had run into someone that had taken what I wanted to try and experience with my wife. I hope that you have not drank from this substance and ended up sleeping with some unfamiliar stranger. If so please forgive me and whoever gave you this drink.
Sincerely Lo Ping."
Tifa could see that the letter was legit as she had seen Yuffie's hand writing and knew she couldn't forge something like this. With a sigh she gave the youngest member of Avalanche a look.
"Yuffie I seriously hope that this wasn't some prank that you intending to pull on me and Cloud but I will believe you for now." She then narrowed her eyes at her youngest friend. "Though I'll tell you this right here, right now if this is some bullshit lie I am SO going to make you regret it!"
Yuffie gulped and nodded her head as she didn't want to make someone like Tifa mad. She then decided to ask the question that had been plaguing her mind.
"By chance Tifa did you drink any of that tea and was there anyone with you last night?"
Tifa was at a loss of what to do. She honestly wasn't sure if she should tell her or keep it to herself for now as she didn't even want to know what Yuffie's reaction would be. On one hand she could tell the truth about what happen last night between her and Elena while asking or even beg Yuffie not to tell anyone, ESPECIALLY Tseng and Cloud as she wanted to tell her lover.
On the other hand she could lie about what happen last night while telling her friend it was just her having the tea last night and pleasuring herself, though she had doubts Yuffie would believe her. Not only that the truth would be found out sooner or later and not in a good way considering how Elena can say the wrong things at the wrong time.
With a tired sigh she decided on the first option and looked Yuffie dead in the eyes with the utmost seriousness.
"I'll tell you what happen last night but first I want your word that you will not tell ANYONE about this, especially Cloud as this is serious Yuffie."
The girl from Wutai paled as she thought the worst of what happen and now felt absolutely miserable that her friend most likely ended up with some guy last night that she didn't even know and tears started to form in her eyes.
Tifa noticed this and quickly took her friend into a hug to calm her down as Yuffie quietly sobbed into her shoulder while speaking.
"I-I'm...sniff...so sorry Tifa! I didn't...sniff...mean for this to happen t-to y-y-you. I really do m-mean it!"
"Shh, Yuffie calm down. I'll explain what happen in a minute but first I need to talk with the one who was with me. Can you trust me for now and not answer the door?" Tifa asked while letting her go.
Yuffie wiped her eyes while nodding and sat down with the nearest chair next to her, taking deep breath's to relax.
Sighing Tifa headed upstairs to have a chat with Elena and hopefully the two of them wouldn't get into a brawl.

Hello everyone and a VERY late Happy New Year and a late Happy Fourth of July. I'm sorry for not updating any of my other stories in a while as I've had some writers block, lack of motivation and the year 2020 was a very shitty year for me and all of us here on this website. There are a lot of things I want to mention but I'll save that for when I update my other stories to share.
Now as for this new story it was in my head for a while which was annoying so I decided to write it into a one shot but unfortunately I ended up making it longer then I wanted to and I feel it had to be made into a two part er which I hope is all it will be. Not only that I'm not sure if this kind of pairing has been done a lot.
I did have an awesome birthday last month so hopefully this year will be a lot better then last year. Anyway this will be it for now and I've been thinking of doing a rewrite for my Rune Soldier Fury story by changing the beginning and try to fix a few errors.
