Dumbledore is dead, Ron broke up with Hermione, and her other two best friends seem to have forgotten she exists. Grieving and lonely, she befriends an Ilvermorny transfer student who quickly becomes her confidant. Having a new friend doesn't help the anxieties that accompany the whispers of the Dark Lord's return - or the subsequent events following detention with one Prof. Snape.

7/12/2021 UPDATE

Hello to you all!

It has been many months since I have been on FFN, which is why I am writing this update today!

This fic has NOT been abandoned. Instead, I am taking a hiatus from it until I complete my current WIP called 'Cantankerus Nott is Rolling in His Grave.' It is a reverse harem marriage law fic (Hermione+ four men) that I just cannot stop thinking about! It's been a very long time since I've been this enthralled in a piece I'm writing, and I'd like to see it through before I return to my other WIPs. For this, I do apologize!

I wanted to say that with the purge that's happening on many other fanfiction websites (including FFN), I am going to post exclusively on Archive of Our Own (a.k.a AO3) from here on out. I will not delete my works from FFN, but I will no longer be update stories here. You may find updates to these fics – as well as any future WIPs – on AO3 under my username: Forgive_Me_Severus.

Note: I have not reposted 'Terms of Evil' to AO3 yet. I will once I get further along with 'Cantankerus.'

I am sorry if this is an inconvenience to anyone, but with FFN buckling down with explicit content, I don't want to run the risk of someone reporting my works (and all of the advertisements are annoying, not going to lie). Plus, AO3 makes it a lot easier to respond to comments, post images that correspond to the story, etc. I hope you all will join me!
