Chapter: Waking up and Tour
Alex wasn't used to be woken up normally since he had an alarm to wake him up after 5 hours of sleep, but he got 10 hours of sleep instead. And what he had awoken to was definitely not normal since he was in a bed and not a giant pillow. What he also wasn't used to was seeing people when he woke up, so what he saw was a female human and the same wheelchair guy from the museum that thrown the pen at Percy. He also sees Umbra and Hikari near him, asleep since they haven't gotten any since they used the teleporters to get to Montauk faster.
"So, who are you?" Alex said, startling the female human but not the wheelchair guy, because it looked like he had probably seen him waking up. "What are you, and why are you here?" said the female human before Alex said "I asked first, so I'll ask again, who are you, because I recognize him from the museum." while pointing at the female human first before pointing at the guy in a wheelchair.
The female human looked angry before the guy in wheelchair had put a hand on the female human before saying, "This is Annabeth, and I don't remember you, but you've seen me.". It was at this point that Umbra and Hikari were waking up and Alex said, "Remember the boy with animal arms and legs at the museum, that was me." and the wheelchair guy was remembering that event and said, "Oh, it was you that helped Percy then, why are you different now. Excuse me though, I haven't said my name, my name is Chiron, the activities director here. Now what is your name." the guy in the wheelchair, Chiron, said.
"My name is Alex, and it seems that Umbra and Hikari are now awake." Alex said, and Umbra and Hikari are taking defensive positions near Alex. "Umbra, Hikari, stand down, they haven't harmed us yet so there is no need to be defensive right now. As for your question Chiron, I am a special Latex, while Umbra and Hikari are normal Latex. As for going with the history of Latex, I'm afraid that it will take too long to explain so short version is human made experiments with sentient goo." Alex said, surprising Annabeth and Chiron, and when Annabeth looked at Chiron seeing him surprised, she got more surprised, while said Latex got out of their defensive positions, but still had their claws out, in case of anyone attacking them.
"Why are you a special Latex, Alex?" Chiron asked after calming down, and the answer was not what he expected. "I was genetically made, Chiron, I can be both Human and Latex." Alex said, making Annabeth pass out while Chiron sat there, shocked at the revelation. "Is Percy up yet though?" Alex said, making Chiron get out of his shock and said, "No, and I believe it will take another day for him to wake up.".
Alex then sat there contemplating on the bed on what to do next until Chiron said, "Well, if you are here, then might as well give you the tour by someone here." And saw that Annabeth was still passed out. "Well, as soon as someone arrives since Annabeth is passed out by the revelation that you made." Chiron said. It was at this point that Grover walked in and saw that Alex was awake. "Thanks for the help yesterday, Alex. And why is Annabeth on the ground?" Grover said and asked. "It was because of a revelation that Alex made that made me surprised." Chiron said, making Grover notice that Chiron was there. "Sorry sir, I didn't see you there, and what revelation did Alex make that made you surprised and made Annabeth pass out?" Grover asked.
"It is best that Alex tells you, since I am still surprised that mortals will do such a thing." Chiron said, making Grover wonder how bad the revelation could be. "You want the truth, Grover, cause it's another truth. And from how you are wondering, I won't tell you since I gave you a truth from when you found me, Hikari, and Umbra." Alex said, making Chiron wonder what was the other truth that Alex gave to Grover.
"If you are wondering about the other truth Chiron, it is classified information that I told Grover and made him promise to not reveal." Alex said while Chiron just sat there, wondering what promise he made. "Oh look, Annabeth is waking up." He said, making Grover and Chiron see that Annabeth is indeed waking up.
"If you'll excuse me and Grover, we have a lot to talk about for Percy and some other things." Chiron said while leaving the building. "So, you want the tour?" Annabeth asked. Alex looked at Umbra and Hikari who nodded and said, "Okay, we'll get the tour. Though I'm pretty sure that people will freak out if they saw me, Umbra, and Hikari. I'm going to have to resume human form, if that is alright with you." Alex said while Annabeth was surprised for a few seconds, then shook her head, saying "People already know the existence of Umbra and Hikari, you as well, so to make sure that people don't freak out, well, make sure to stay in that form at all times.".
"Well, there goes that plan. Let me guess Umbra, you want to hold me now?" Alex asked, making Umbra slightly nod her head while Hikari looks like she is pouting. Alex then nodded back and turned into a cub Latex of himself, with both aspects of the Dark and Light Latex, and jumped into Umbra's arms.
"Well, there is that, just make sure and pray to the gods that the girls at this camp don't see you like this." Annabeth said, knowing that the girls will see him due to him having black and white fur, which is hard to hide anywhere. "And due to me and my siblings are the studious type, they will try to learn everything about you and the Latex." She spoke.
Time skip…
While doing the tour, some of the girls saw Alex and immediately went after him but were stopped due to Umbra and Hikari giving them glares. It was also due to the fact that Alex was in Umbra's arms while in the cub Latex form.
After a little while, they were stopped by a female demigod with a few male demigods around her. 'Might be the bullies in the camp.' Alex thought. "Well, well, well, what do we have here, some furries that look like newbies, with a pet." the female demigod said, making Alex take note of her. 'Might be the leader of the bullies. And I'm NOT a pet, though which term are you using for the word furry?' he thought angrily and questioned in his head.
"Clarisse," Annabeth said while sighing. 'So that's her name, she better know what's good for her if she does try attacking me.' Alex thought. "Don't you have something better to do?" Annabeth continued.
"Sure I do, princess," Clarisse said, "It's called being a jerk." 'What the hell, are they trying to kill each other?' Alex thought, twitching his ears to show his annoyance of the insults, which Umbra and Hikari noticed. "So, who are the newbies so I can give the initiation ceremony." Clarisse said, making Alex growl slightly which only Umbra and Hikari can hear him.
"The black one is Umbra and the White one is Hikari, the one you called a pet is-" Annabeth said before getting interrupted by Alex, "Alex, my name is Alex, and I'm NOT a pet." And it shocked the nearby demigods as well as Clarisse and the male demigods behind her, the only one that wasn't shocked was Annabeth.
"If you want answers, I'll answer them later because it looks like you demigods can't get along." He said before getting out of Umbra's arms and getting onto the ground. He then proceeded to transform, shocking everyone except the one who are in the know, into a bipedal and bigger form(Human sized). "I wouldn't try that if I were you though, if you are wanting to use force, cause that can mean that I can attack back due to the probable laws here." Said Alex.
"After all," he said while taking a step forward, "There are those that are different from Humans," he took another step forward and caused a lot of Latex goop and crystals to appear on the ground, "and there are those different from Demi-gods."

(Author's Note: Sorry for taking so long on updating this, I had been losing motivation a lot and due to that, I haven't updated in a while, so expect an update probably once or twice every two months or so. I had to get my priorities straight and trying to figure out what to do, still, my other stories are up for adoption, message me if you want them, or if you want to help in my stories, I have a google drive, just message me your email to let you gain access to the google drive, cause my next few ideas involve video game characters and summoning, video game crossover with Infinite Stratos, some kind of crossover with Pokémon, an idea that got me thinking on a Bnha fanfic where Izuku Midoriya has a Protogen mask his father made for him that has a lot of things and advanced tech, and last, another Bnha crossover where Izuku works either the Dayshift at a pizzeria or the nightshift. Might make for some interesting content considering that no one has ever done a DSAF crossover or a FNIA crossover with Bnha. This is Infinite0001 signing off for the day.)
