Author's Note: Okay so I said this project would be done months in the future, but to be perfectly honest with you, I'm terrible at taking notes… So I'm posting all of the world building plus the prologue chapter here all in one upload. I hope you guys end up liking it, as it took me all day and all night to try and get every single one of my ideas down on paper before i end up losing my ideas to the wind. Now this World Building centers entirely on Uzushio from how I would write it, and, since I live on Kodiak Island, i took a bit of inspiration from my home to add a few things here and there, I also did something that has been done to death: Uzumaki Dragon Summons. However I have done some modifications that make them more compatible with both natural evolution and with the Naruto World, at least if I were going to go the traditional western dragon route. I will go into further detail about a dragon as an example in a later chapter, because I'm still trying to find a Mythological Dragon that would fit the bill I have for a character in a later chapter! Anyway… I think I'll just end it here and let you guys enjoy this prologue, so that's enough out of me! Be sure to Follow, Favorite, and Review, and to send this chapter to everyone you know who loves Naruto! Catch ya on the Flipside! DATTEBAYO!

Prologue: World Building/Uzushio Massacre

The Land of Whirlpools… A Beautiful Island Nation off the Coast of the Land of Fire… and Home to the Most Dangerous and Difficult Ninja Art in the World: Fuinjutsu. The Island Nation itself is surrounded on all sides by mighty Maelstroms that give the nation it's name, and these whirlpools are far more powerful than those produced anywhere else due to the currents that surround the island itself, and because of it, traversing the ocean to the Land of Whirlpools is extremely risky, as they will rip apart any ship that manages to navigate poorly and get caught in the currents. Water Walking is also treacherous as the whirlpools rapidly devour the chakra from those who either don't know how to ride the currents or who try to force their way between the whirlpools.

These whirlpools, however, provide something that give Uzushio a great deal of fame and money throughout the world, a very fine cooking salt that contains minerals from several different nations along the coast, which is highly sought after and is very expensive throughout the world. Those who manage to get their hands on this cooking salt are able to open up very fine cooking restaurants, but there is one small-time restaurant that uses this rare cooking salt for it's broth, Ichiraku Ramen. The salt grain is very fine, dissolves quickly, and, thanks to the minerals from all the coastlines drawn to the whirlpools, is able to amplify even the most basic of flavors with a bouquet of refined tastes.

Past the whirlpools are great black sand beaches in which many of the finest smiths and prospectors of the island come to search… Black Sand Beaches contain many rare metals, minerals, and gemstones, but the Smiths use this sand, which contains a chakra rich iron, to create weapons of the highest quality. The Sand is rich in a chakra rich iron, in which the energy provides charge that keeps the iron from oxidizing over long periods of time, and the smiths gather up what sand they can carry and return to their forges, where they carefully separate out the rare metals, minerals, and gemstones from the iron sand, in which they sell the rarer finds to companies that need them, whilst commissioning special refineries to make a chakra rich tamahagane.

This Tamahagane is then forged with a secret ore only found on Uzushiogakure, and Ore that is rich in chakra as well, but unlike the Iron Sand, this ore is rich in Natural Energy, in which when the chakra rich Tamahagane is mixed with this Natural Energy Rich ore, and quenched in the blood of the one who had the sword commissioned, then the sword becomes something that only the blood donator can wield, his/her direct descendants, or his/her chosen successor. This is how the Seven Blades of the Mist were forged, created by a pair of great swordsmiths, the brothers Masamune and Muramasa, having forged the great weapons of bloodshed to end bloodshed, only for the faults of man to corrupt their original purpose.

Beyond the Beaches of Uzushio, one could find the great rainforest that filled the Land of Whirlpools upon it's many steep hills. It was a great and ancient forest that teemed with life and was rich in Natural Energy, allowing the creatures that lived in it to grow mighty and strong. Some species even evolved the ability to use chakra in a similar manner to that of the Tailed Beasts, and as such, they became prized as summoning animals. The Mightiest of these Beasts on the island were the Dragons… These creatures were giant and powerful lizards that, while they couldn't fly, they were covered in mighty scales with powerful horns, sharp teeth and claws, and were capable of using Fire-Release Ninjutsu without the use of hand seals, only flexing their talons on one paw to be able to mold their chakra. These Dragons grew larger as they aged, but the biggest would rival the size of the Tailed Beasts, or massive summoning animals, like Gamabunta, Katsuyu, and Manda. The Dragons however, are great lovers of music, and will often have their prospective partners learn to play music for them, not only for times of leisure, but also to summon them in battle and keep their minds calm during a fight. Dragons are known for their aggression, and the longer a fight drags on the more aggressive, violent, and instinct prone they become, and as such, their summoners play music to keep their minds clear and help them focus.

When the time comes for a summoner to learn Sage Mode, the Dragons take them to Mount Horai, a secret location in the Land of Whirlpools that can only be safely accessed with the aid of a dragon, and there, beneath the jeweled branches of the World Tree, can the prospective ninja learn to become a Sage with the aid of the Dragons.

Beyond the Ancient Forests and the Hills that that they sit upon is the great Village Hidden amongst the Vortices, Uzushiogakure. This village is constructed of many highrise buildings, buildings of cement, steel, and glass, with paved roads, great bridges across a great river that flows through the heart of the village, with many large and small businesses, whilst having several restaurants. This village has gained the nickname as the Village of Longevity, and to those who know anything about Uzushiogakure, they could understand why. The entire island is rich in Natural Energy, from the food that the locals eat, to the water they drink, to the air they breathe. The Island is a font for Natural Energy, and if one were to be born in this village, even if they weren't an Uzumaki, they'd obtain the lifespan and extended youth of one. The people of Uzushio actually farm their food from special locations within the steep hills, as well as hunt the animals and gather ingredients from the Ancient Forest to provide for themselves, and thanks to the Natural Energy, the island is eternally abundant in wild foodstuffs.

However, there is another thing that the people of Uzushio hide, and that is beneath the earth are the Great Catacombs of Uzushio, a massive network of naturally occurring caves that also act as mines for the material wealth of the village. In these catacombs there is a special microscopic lifeform that takes the bodies of the dearly departed and as they feed on the corpses, they excrete the trace amounts of precious metals and minerals for gemstones, and iron that are present in the body. The torrential rains that occur on the island from time to time wash these metals and gemstones into the sea, where the whirlpools clean and compress them into chunks of ore, where the tides take them onto the beach and bury them in the black sand.

The Rain is another thing that occurs in Uzushio, and unlike most villages who become depressed because of it, for Uzushio, it is a time of celebration and fun for the people of Uzushio. When the rains come, the river rises and floods begin to occur, but thanks to the Catacombs, they don't flood very much, and the buildings have all been designed to protect the interiors from flooding. However the floods bring about a chance for a sport that the people of Uzushio love, and that is River Racing. These races consist of civilians on specially designed boards, and shinobi who have mastered the Water-Walking technique. The aim of this race is to get from the source of the river to the finish line that sits at the last bridge of the village. The first racer to get to the finish line wins the race, and is given the glory of being the champion until the next race. The Racers, depending on their placement, are each given cash prizes, medical treatent for any injuries that occur, and have jonin shinobi on standby throughout the track to rescue any racers who fall beneath the river's surface.

Beyond the rains, the Village itself holds itself to a single religion, a religion that is considered by historians to be the oldest and most feared religion in the world: Jashinism… Now unlike the version that the Cult of Jashin would preach, a religion of death and destruction, this religion was created on the findings of Jashin Otsutsuki, a member of the same clan as their ancient ancestor, Kaguya Otsutsuki, and her sons, Hagoromo and Hamura. In this religion, Jashin was born unlike his fellow Clan Members, and used his Rinnegan to travel between the Physical World and the Afterlives, in which he learned what he could of each of these afterlife, and became convinced of what was to come from the relation of actions and karma.

During the time of Hagoromo Otsutsuki, Jashin began to preach of the afterlife, revealing what awaited certain souls beyond death, revealing the existence of the Pure World, the Impure World, the Chaotic World, and the Corrupt World. The Corrupt World was where evil souls were sent after death… The souls of the evil would be sent to a place where they would do evil upon each other, slaughtering, destroying, raping, all sorts of foul and malicious deeds to everyone indiscriminately, but wandering through this world are what are known as Horrors, the creatures that are the literal embodiments of evil who torture and punish the wicked. However, aside from the Horrors, there are demons known as Hollows, wicked souls who have endured all of the worst tortures of the Horrors and no longer feel any emotion at all… These creatures wear great masks to hide their faces, and they hunt down and eat their fellow sinners in order to fill the emptiness within themselves. Horrors and Hollows often fight each other over territory and to feed, and the Corrupt, the souls sent to this world, are often fighting against these creatures to be left to their own devices without fear. It is a vicious cycle that continues on and on…

The Pure World is where the souls of the truly good are sent to should their karma be of such purity that they are allowed to rise. This world is a world of pure peace and harmony, and here, the souls of the dead live peacefully with one another, never knowing war, hardship, or sorrow ever again. This world is to bright for one to see, even with the Rinnegan, but what Jashin could understand he shared to his followers, as the Pure World is such a place of purity and goodness, that any being of pure evil would be destroyed in it's divine light, whilst the good living would be allowed to only see the purity and light that this world provides, and listen to the joyful laughter and happy words of the dearly departed. Jashin would reveal to his followers that after seeing the light and joy of this world, even if only momentarily, he was willing to give up the crusade of his clan in order to experience and see it for himself after he died.

The Final World is the Chaotic Realm, it is an afterlife of pure possibilities and combat… The Warriors of the World, even beyond the Ninja Nations, who were not too good but also not too evil, are sent here, and it is here they experience the same pleasures they did in life, but also the greatest pleasure they could hope for, combat during the day, and an endless party at night. It is here that the Dead are allowed to live their happiest and most chaotic lives possible. It is the Realm of the Honorable Fallen, and those who die in battle for their beliefs, sacrificing themselves for others, or even giving up their lives to protect the innocent, they are all drawn here. During the day, everyone fights everyone, no holds barred, all or nothing… And to them it is the purest bit of fun, and no racism or sexism is given as everyone who comes here is a proven warrior and protector of the innocent. At Night, those who "die" on the battlefield, rise again and join their fellows in an endless banquet with unending food, alcohol, and the greatest pleasures they could ever wish for. However, the High Table is reserved for the Shinigami Himself, and those who willingly sacrificed themselves to summon him and use the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to end great evils, or at least cripple them severely. This high table is where the greatest heroes of the afterlife, their spouses and children, and those who summoned the Reaper for aid, are allowed to eat, drink, and be merry.

The Three Afterlives that Jashin had seen were all beautiful, in their own way, even the Corrupt World, surprisingly, and he preached to the people of the Land of Whirlpools and all who would listen, even his own nephews, Hagoromo and Hamura, and it was with these beliefs that Jashin willingly put his life on the line to aid his nephews in defeating his twin sister, Kaguya, and he paid the price with his life. The holy scriptures of Jashin all say that when Jashin was killed, it was revealed that he was the Son of the Grim Reaper himself, and allowed to rise into the Pure World as a reward for awakening the minds of the world that they had been blind to. Ever since then, Jashin's personal sigil became the symbol on which the faith was founded, an equilateral triangle with three gems at each corner, with a white gem on the top corner indicating the Pure World, a Blue Gem on the right corner indicating the Chaotic World, and a red gem on the left corner indicating the impure world. The Cult of Jashin would later invert the symbol and remove the gemstones, indicating they didn't care about the Afterlife, and that the endless death and destruction in the Impure World was what they desired, and even view the Corrupt World as a fun alternative if they can't obtain immortality, which the true Jashinist view as an abomination.

Beyond their religious beliefs, the people of Uzushio are nothing to scoff at either, every single member of Uzushio knows that their island nation is small compared to the rest of the other nations in the world, and as such, every person in Uzushio, both civilian, samurai, and shinobi, are warriors trained to fight in war should it ever come to the island. The Civilians of Uzushio are not to be underestimated simply because they don't have the extensive training of a shinobi or samurai. The Civilians are trained in the user of chakra, how to stream it through weapons, utensils, and even their own bodies. In fact two taijutsu styles were created by the First Shiokage that can be used by anyone willing to practice it, and in fact, the first of the two is one part sport, one part fighting style, one part dancing style, Rasenken (Spiralling Fist). The Shioken is a fighting style that involves a rocking stance that keeps the opponent off balance, and uses unpredictable circular movements that can be used to block, redirect, and dodge attacks whilst immediately counter-attacking.

The other style that was created is the Gogyoken (Five Elements Fist), in which everyone has to be tested for their elemental affinity before they can start practicing, in which there is a primary style for simple chakra enhancing attacks, and then there are 5 sub-styles that reflect the user's chakra natures. The Hiken (Fire Fist) uses strong and dynamic combat moves whilst using their chakra to set the air around their bodies ablaze. Doken uses strong steps and powerful movements whilst accompanying chakra to make their skin as hard as rock as well as strengthening their bones and organs internally to mitigate damage. Suiken (Water Fist), otherwise known as Drunken Fist, relaxes the muscles, allowing the user to move as if they were drunk, using unpredictable angles of attack and unorthodox fighting techniques to great effect. Fuuken (Wind Fist) focuses on using the opponent's energy against them and using wide circular movements to trip-up and knock their opponent off balance, whilst using wind chakra to increase the cutting power of their nails or the impact of their palm strikes. Raiken focuses on highly accurate finger jabs with lightning release to send electrical surges into their opponent's body, temporarily shutting off or scrambling their nervous system to either shut down organs or make limbs temporarily useless.

For the Samurai, they are the dedicated swordsmen of Uzushio, but unlike the samurai of the Land of Iron, they don't wear heavy armors, instead they wear much lighter armors, specially crafted combat kimonos with the fur of Uzushio's most infamous pest… Firerats… These rats are one of the biggest nuisances in all of Uzushio, but also one of it's most valuable resources, their fur, when carefully harvested, can be made into combat garments of high quality and protection, making kimonos that are as light as cloth but are stronger than steel armors. Aside from this, the Samurai are each armed with a personally forged weapon of Tamahagane and Hihiirokane, the secret ore that only exists on Uzushio. By combining these two and quenching the finished blade in blood, the weapon takes on traits unique to the one it was forged for. These weapons are even more chakra conductive than normal chakra metal weapons, to the point that, if the person possesses the proper elements, the user can channel their Kekkei Genkai through it.

For the Shinobi, they traditionally wear Shinobi Shozoku died navy blue, and amongst Uzushio, since the village is so small, there is actually only three Ninja Clans that exist on Uzushio, the Uzumaki, the Namikaze, and the Arashi. Of the Three Clans, the Namikaze are not the most famous, but they are known specifically for their clan's focus on Space-Time Ninjutsu, or Teleporation Techniques, which are extremely rare, and their Hiden Techniques, their biggest ones, were made famous by someone who had earned the right to marry into their clan, Tobirama Senju, the Second Hokage, who had not only won the respect of the clan, but the heart of the clan's princess at the time. He had learned the Hiraishin no Jutsu from the Namikaze Clan and made it famous throughout the Warring States Era, though he was wrongfully credited for the creation of the technique, the Namikaze insisted that he did, as it would allow them to remain off the radar of other clans. Aside from this, the Namikaze were known for being amongst the Fastest Shinobi in the world, thanks to their specialization of teleportation.

The Arashi Clan were also another noteworthy clan of Uzushio, in which they were known for their Hiden Jutsu which allowed them to control the Weather in a given area around them. However, when multiple members of the Arashi Clan clan gathered together, they could manipulate the weather in a wide area to what they wished it to be. Even individual Clan Members could create weather conditions based on their emotions in order to disrupt their enemies in combat. The constant shifting of the Weather would often leave their enemies dying of illness if they somehow survived due to the extreme temperature and condition fluctuations. Not only that, thanks to their Hiden Jutsu allowing them to call on the Elemental Forces of Nature, they can expend little chakra to cast ninjutsu. In a large-scale battle, the Arashi Clan were known to devastate armies with just a handful clan members working together in tandem. If it weren't for the Uzumaki Clan, they would be considered the strongest, but since they and the Namikaze are close allies to the Uzumaki, they are fine with being second best.

The Final Clan, and arguably the strongest in Uzushio, and possibly even the world, are the Uzumaki Clan, this clan is known for one thing and one thing only, their Sealing Jutsu. The Uzumaki Clan had long since mastered the Art of Sealing, to the point they have actually figured out it is One-Part Scientific Theory, One-Part Artistic Expression, and One-Part Combative Application. The Uzumaki Clan are known to have developed the most dangerous and, frankly, overpowered Sealing Techniques in the world, but that is only scratching the surface. The Uzumaki Clan are known for their massive chakra reserves, to the point they can actually transform their chakra into physical ink in order to create the symbols and kanji for their seals. More than this, however, they have discovered a way to use Fuinjutsu to recreate Kekkei Genkai, but only if they have their chakra naturally has the elemental composition to utilize it, and as such, children of the Uzumaki Clan are always tested for their elemental affinities early on in life in order to prepare them for their elemental training later on in life.

While on the subject, many believe to be fuinjutsu to be as simple as writing some kanji and symbols down on to a piece of paper, charging them with chakra, performing mudras (hand seals/hand signs) and then trapping whatever they want sealed inside, but in fact it is far, far more complicated than that. Fuinjutsu, as stated previously, is One-Part Scientific Theory, One-Part Artistic Expression, and One-Part Combative Application. In order to use Fuinjutsu, you must have a complex understanding of Life and Physical Sciences, an Artist's steady hand, imagination, and patience, and a leader's understanding of strategy and tactics to properly employ Fuinjutsu to it's highest degree. These Three thing are fundamental for any Fuinjutsu Caster, however, more than that, the Sealing Arts encompases Fuinjutsu (Sealing Techniques), Juinjutsu (Curse Seal Techniques), Kekkai Ninjutsu (Barrier Techniques), Renkinjutsu (Alchemy), and Madoujutsu (Demon Art Techniques). Fuinjutsu, Juinjutsu, and Kekkai Ninjutsu are all the more common applications of Fuinjutsu, but the more abstract techniques are things that need to be covered.

Renkinjutsu, or Alchemy, is the art of using Fuinjutsu at it's most energy efficient… What this means is that the user uses very little chakra to get the process going, all they need are to create a seal in which to perform the action they require, create a source of Kinetic Energy, usually by clapping their hands together, and then send said kinetic energy into the seal, thus unleashing the Potential Energy trapped within the seal's formula to cause the physical world to perform what they want. However, this "potential" energy is much more than the energy that has yet to be used. Few people know this, but Renkinjutsu is actually a form of Sage Art, similar to the Frog Kata or Inorganic Reincarnation. However, the user is only passively using Natural Energy, which in turn means while the jutsu they cast is indeed infused with Natural Energy, unless the Renkinjutsu User themselves is a sage, it can't compete with full-blown sages. However, the art of Alchemy is actually considered a Gateway to Senjutsu in Uzushio, and those who pursue it eventually become contacted by the dragons to become sages. Once a Sage masters Alchemy, things become far more dangerous for their enemies than they think.

After this is Madoujutsu, or the Demon Path Techniques, and these are seals that are at their most energy demanding. Madou Seals are known for creating effects that look like actual magic, both based on the fact that it requires no handseals, and the user seems to chant as they prepare their jutsus. However, the truth of the fact is that the Madoujutsu users mold their chakra internally, using special breathing techniques to draw in matter and natural energy from the air around them, with the "chanting" only being only used as a distractionary tool in order to hide their breathing patterns, and thus disguise the fact that they completed they completed the jutsu before they cast it, or make the opponent desperate enough to try and stop said chanting. Once the energy has been properly molded, the user sends the chakra out of their bodies casting their Jutsu with the necessary bodily movements.

However, recent times, Madoujutsu users have actually discovered a way to cast their Madoujutsu without the user of their chanting, and that is through the use of a tool called a Madou Brush, and single-handed Mudras to mold the chakra. The Madou Brushes are special ninja tools invented by Raiden Uzumaki, the older twin brother of Kushina Uzumaki, who had discovered a means to use the most chakra conductive material in the world into Uzushio's most dangerous weapon, their own hair. Materials created from the body of their original owner are highly chakra conductive, and the hair and blood are by far the most chakra conductive parts of the body. By using hair cut from their own head, Raiden discovered how to create Madou Brushes, using their high chakra conductivity to be able to cast Madoujutsu far more easily.

Now, getting back on track, with all topics previously revealed, the Uzumaki also have directly blood ties to the Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools, in fact, the clan that act as the Shinobi of the Village are considered the "Branch Family", whilst the "Main Family" rules the entirety of the Land of Whirlpools, but unlike most Daimyo Families, they actually take an active part in ruling their country and ensuring everyone is safe, as the Main House actually is the branch of the family known for having the capabilities of Sealing the full power of the Nine Tailed Fox within their bodies, thanks to their direct bloodlines having the potential of awakening the Adamantine Sealing Chains, the Hiden Jutsu of the Clan's unnamed Kekkei Genkai. This Kekkei Genkai takes the form of a special form of chakra that is naturally produced in their bodies, a chakra that is enhances and amplifies the power of any sealing jutsu cast with it, to the point that they can actually restrain a tailed beast with little to no resistance from the beast itself, once it makes contact.

The Adamantine Sealing Chains are one of the jutsu derived from this Kekkei Genkai, extending the reach and strength of the chakra by turning it into a solid construct. The chakra can also be turned into a nigh impenetrable barrier, that only with enough brute force to match that of a High A-Rank ninjutsu or taijutsu can penetrate. In any case, this chakra is also capable of destroying ninjutsu attacks and destroying chakra based substances and constructs, as the chains are infused with sealing jutsu thanks to the chakra that makes them, and the chains have blades molded into them, granting them such a cutting capacity. This Kekkei Genkai appears in a few members of the Main Family in each generation, with the most at one time being 9 children being born with the ability, meaning that, at one point, the Uzumaki Clan could've taken control of all 9 Tailed Beasts.

Speaking of the Tailed Beasts, and by extension, Jinchuriki, the people and clans of Uzushio don't act like other villages would, in fact, they actually love and honor their Jinchuriki, as they know of the sacrifice they are made to be and the heroes they are by keeping their demons in check, and using their powers to defend the village. If a Jinchuriki were ever to come to Uzushio, they would be given the highest form of respect and honor, short of that reserved for the clan heads, the Shiokage, and the Royal Family.

Now I can hear you all asking one question, "Why set up Uzushio to be as grand as it is if you are just going to destroy it?", to this I say, "This author has changed history to reflect what happened during the Uzushio Invasion in his mind… Please sit back and enjoy the show…"

Uzushiogakure

The Second Shinobi World War has started, and the Royal family stands at the gates of Uzushio, along with the Clans of Uzushio, the civilians, and the Samurai who have come to witness the four most prominent children of Uzushio make their way to the gates, were Konoha Ninja stand waiting for them. One of them is Princess Kushina Uzumaki, who looks at her family sadly, as she is the only child of her generation born with their Kekkei Genkai, and thus, it is her duty to go to Konoha… Her twin brother, Raiden, hugs her, crying as Kushina cries in her brother's arms. Next to her is Yuki Arashi, a member of the Arashi Clan, who has been chosen to be one of Kushina's bodyguards, and possibly a friend, and with her is Tena Namikaze of the Namikaze Clan, named after the late-wife of Daimyo Ashina, and her fellow clansman, Minato. Said Daimyo looks down at his children sadly as they prepare for their departure. "Kushina…" Ashina says, kneeling to his daughter, "Don't be sad, we will come to visit you soon!"You promise?" Kushina asks, sniffling.

"We promise!" Raiden says, "Remember, we Uzumaki never go back on our word, even if it kills us!" Kushina wipes her tears and smiles as he hears these words, and soon she departs, waving goodbye to her family.

Meanwhile, in a secret room in Amegakure…

The Third Raikage, The Third Tsuchikage, The Third Kazekage and the Third Mizukage all sit around a dark room, all looking at each other. Their eyes are drawn to a map with their eyes glued to a single point, the Land of Whirlpools. "So it's decided then?" Onoki asks, looking at the other leaders, who nod as well. "Then we will destroy Uzushio, using the warfront as a distraction to move all of our forces quickly and quietly…"

"Then everyone will gather their forces in the Land of Lightning, where we will set sail to the Land of Whirlpools, arriving on the island north of their territory." The Third Raikage A says…

"And from there we will sail to Uzushiogakure, doing everything in our power to sneak to the village at night, when the new moon is in the sky…" The Third Mizukage finishes.

"Then we will slaughter every man, woman, and child on Uzushio…" The Third Kazekage says, glaring down at the map. "That Minor Country of Whirlpool is far too big a threat to be left unchecked…"

"Indeed, despite the fact that they are only a minor nation, the fact that they have grown so powerful thanks is unnerving… I remembered a battle during the the First War where a massive army of Iwa Ninja faced off against the only 7 Arashi Clan members, everyone was decimated when they linked their Hiden Jutsu together and brought down the worst thunderstorm i had ever seen on anyone as well as powerful hurricanes that decimated the battlefield…" Ohnoki explains, "There was nowhere anyone could run… Though what I witnessed from Madara Uchiha was far worse, I still have nightmares whenever I think of those bastards…"

"I've also seen what happens when just one of those Namikaze are let onto the battlefield…" The Third Mizukage says, "It's like watching a single locust turn into a plague in a fraction of a second…"

"And Let's not forget those Uzumaki Bastards…" A, the Third Raikage, says "Those bastards have so many ways of performing Fuinjutsu that it's hard to keep track of them all… Not only that, I even witnessed one of them, the Current Daimyo, generate massive firestorms with the snap of his fingers thanks to the seals etched into the back of his gloves. He also firebombed cities and towns with such power and precision that it was like we were facing a human version of their dragons…"

"Ashina the Dragon…" The Third Mizukage says. "We have no more time to waste… If the Uzumaki decide to step in, we're all doomed… I will be bringing everyone I can spare for this fight."

"All of us will… As we know, the Uzumaki Forces currently number 300 Samurai and 500 Shinobi right now." Onoki says, "Since their island isn't that large, they focus on quality rather than quantity, and in most cases, that would be a sound strategy, but with their small island, we will be able to overtake them, if we can manage to land and get our forces on shore."

"Not only that, according to my sources…" The Third Mizukage says, "The Dragons will be inactive during this time of the year. It seems that during certain times of the year, the Dragons become inactive in protecting the Ancient Forest that surrounds Uzushiogakure, however, more than that, I could not say, as my spy noticed that the people of Uzushio were starting to sniff him out. I do not know how that is possible though."

"It is probably one of the Uzumaki Clan's Hiden Jutsu, though not much is known about them due to the fact that the Uzumaki are capable of sniffing out friends and foes easily with one of them." The Third Raikage says, "Other than that, I know nothing else…"

"Then I say we get this ball rolling…" The Third Kazekage says, "The sooner we deal with Uzushio, the sooner we can take down Konoha." Everyone nods at this… And Slowly… the Plan is set into motion… Unbeknownst to them, something overheard everything, and quietly makes it's way out of the room, jumping into the river near the building where this meeting is taking place…

Swimming down the River, the Toad finds a quiet spot as one Jiraiya of the recently dubbed Sannin makes his way towards a spot where he summons a toad and hands them a scroll, then whispers to the toad where to take it, the creature swallowing the paper and vanishing. Hoping it makes it in time, Jiraiya rushes back to his students, having been gone a little longer than he had intended to.

In the Shiokage's office, the toad poofs into existence, and quickly passes the message to him… His face goes dark, and a smirk appears on his face… Things were about to get interesting…

A Few months later…

Black ships sail towards Uzushio, their timing has been perfect so far, and the shinobi on the ships are getting nervous, it should be a simple massacre, no ifs-ands-or-buts about it. However, the gathering of clouds in the night sky puts a few on edge, especially since they know that the Arashi Clan are able to manipulate the weather. The Third Tsuchikage is also a bit on edge, having a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach that this may have been a mistake, but it's too late to turn back now… However, for the sake of his village, he had sworn not to use the Dust Release, knowing the devastation he could cause would also hurt his allies as well, thus causing all of their attention to turn on Iwagakure once they returned to the Mainland instead of Konoha. He tells himself that, no matter the situation, he has to resist the temptation to use Particle Release.

The other Kage know that this battle will be one of the hardest in this stage of the war, and they know that if somebody had managed to get word to Uzushio, they were as good as finished. However, the seas remain calm, everything goes good so far, and as everyone lands on the island, they quickly make their way towards the village. Surprisingly, the gates are wide open, there are no guards, and the streets are empty. The Kage and theirmen charge into the village, hoping to expect a fight, only for some reason, every house is empty, with all of the valuables, money, scrolls, everything picked clean.

"Something isn't right…" A says, "Where are the Uzushio Ninja?"

"Or their samurai for that matter?" The Third Mizukage asks.

"This doesn't make sense, nobody would leave their village wide open like this…" The Third Kazekage says, "Not unless…" That is when the sound of thunder is heard, and everyone sees purple lightning beginning to crackle in the sky as the wind rapidly begins to pick up.

"IT'S A TRAP!" Onoki shouts, in which the Ninja realize this and begin to make their way out of the village, only for the sound of a Horagai, a Conch War Horn, to blow six notes of three keys. To this, the sound of a roar from a distance is heard, and the conch is played a second time with the same notes. The Kage turn and witness, from the forest, the dragons charge towards the village, and whats more, what appear to be civilians charge in from the buildings and join the fighting as well, every man, woman, and child, attack mercilessly at the assailants. Onoki didn't expect the Civilians to match the ninja invading their homes, but the surprise quickly turns to dread as Onoki had not realized that Uzushio didn't take chances with the Civilians, nobody had ever thought that the Civilians would be combat capable, and with the lightning raining down on the village, men and woman vanishing and reappearing in flashes of light, slaughtering their soldiers, and the Uzumaki using sealing techniques to kill the men around them by turning the ground itself into landmines. "THIS BATTLE IS LOST! RETREAT!" The Kage also call the retreat, only for there to be more shouting as, on all sides, hundreds of Konoha Shinobi charge in from the forests.

Left with no choice but to clear a path, Onoki uses his Atomic Dismantling Technique to clear the way back to the ships, in which everyone still alives retreats as fast as their legs can carry them… However… It's all for naught, as, by the time the Kage reach the ships, only enough men to manage one ship return with them, some from each of their nations… This supposed sneak attack had turned into a disaster, and each Kage returned home in shame, revealing that somebody had leaked the information of the surprise attack, and Uzushio had plenty of time to prepare for it, luring them into a trap and then slaughtering them like livestock.

Not long after this, Jiraiya is summoned to the Leaf with his three pupils, whom Nagato is told to wear contact lenses to hide his Rinnegan… He is revealed to the people of Konoha and Uzushio, who had gathered in the leaf, as the Hero of Uzushio, for if it weren't for him, Uzushiogakure would have been destroyed, and the Uzumaki present Jiraiya with their finest sword since the Seven Swords of the Mist… The Nakirimaru, or Wave Cutter, for it was Jiraiya's intelligence and willingness to save his sister village that cut through the waves of the enemies who would have wiped them out in a surprise attack. The Daimyo of the Land of Whirlpools also rewards Jiraiya with a chance to join the Uzumaki Fully, thus granting him sanctuary in Uzushio, as Jiraiya is an orphan. Jiraiya, unsure of what to do with the Honor, can't help but accept it. Later that night, Jiraiya is put through a ritual that allows Jiraiya to be adopted into the Uzumaki Clan by binding their blood to his, and adopting him as Ashina's brother via this ritual.

Though Jiraiya would have no inheritance rights within the Royal Family, he was now officially a member of the Uzumaki Clan, and has all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities as a member of the clan. Jiraiya couldn't believe the honor that was given him, and Tsunade, shocked at the details of this ritual, can't help but smirk at the Dobe of her team… And with this… Time Marches on… And our journey has just begun...
