Heroes of the Realm

Six unlikely heroes find themselves standing in the Adventurer's Guild of Musutafu, and all of them trying to claim the same mission. Perhaps Fate has brought these souls together? What could possibly go wrong? (Goddammit Bubsy!) IzuOcha, FumiTsuyu, MikuMei. (Rated for M, as a precaution, just in case)

2. Update!

Hellooooo! How're you everyone, I'm doing great! So I know a while back I said I was going to do this story just after I had gotten "The Wild's Beyond Witchlight" but, at random, I had watched the opening sequence for "Baldur's Gate 3", and that had inspired me to do some research into the Gith Race of Dungeons and Dragons, and when I found out that the Githyanki had an elite group of Dragon Riders. However, the Githyanki are generally Evil, and the Dragons they ride are all aligned with that of Tiamat, the Evil, Five-Headed Dragon Goddess. So I'm actually going to try something much more crazy, but more on that later.

Thanks to my obtaining Fizban's, I'm actually wanting to redo a few of the intros, backstories, and the races/classes of a few characters. Aside from that, I've got somethings that I need to set up the situation for the group's first encounter with each other much better, as the way I had set things up was pretty bad. I have a much better idea on how I want the group to encounter each other in this story, so please be patient with me, I promise, once the update is done, I'll get onto chapter 1 as soon as possible.

So for the group... Let me be blunt, I've got some things that I need to update on a few of them, and one of them is the fact that I need to change things around with Mikumo, Ochako, and Mei.

First, I got Mei as a Fairy, but now I'm struggling to decide if I should keep her as a Battlesmith or an Armorer, or possibly even an artillerist, so this one is going to bother me to no end until I figure it out. Trust me, with her being an artificer, and her canonical obsession with creating new things, its going to be tough to keep up with her on any given day.

Second, I have to change out Ochako, as, while I thought having her being a Githyanki was cool, I realize that I was barking up the wrong tree with her. So I'm changing her to a High-Elf and a Sorcerer for that matter. What kind of sorcerer, you may ask? Well I'm stuck between Divine Soul, Aberrant Mind, and Clockwork Soul. Its a bit of a conundrum and I'll have it figured out after I sleep on it a bit.

Finally we come to Mikumo, and I had to do a bit of digging to see if this concept was possible, and thankfully, it did, somewhat. So what I have planned is making Mikumo into a Githzerai Drakewarden Ranger. The thought process behind this was that the Githyanki were able to bond with and ride Red Dragons thanks to their pact with Tiamat. In a similar Manner, Bahamut founded the Way of the Ascendant Dragon Monastery, but I already have a monk, so that's out of the picture. However, in Fizban's, Bahamut actually proclaims that he actually likes the Drakewarden Rangers, finding them especially attractive and beautiful. But more than that, one of the character creation options is that of Bahamut coming to you in our dreams and warning you of impending doom. So my thought processes for this story is that a group of the Githzerai, having had a relatively peaceful run in with Bahamut, actually became Drakewarden Rangers after forging a pact with him, thus allowing them to locate Geodes or Gemstones within the mountains of their new home when each ranger comes to the end of their training. Mikumo is one of these Githzerai Rangers, and his drake, whose name I shall keep secret for now, will be the result of this bonding ritual.

Aside from this, I have nothing more to explain, but trust me, I plan on continuing Heroes of the Realm as soon as I am able to fix things completely. So please stay tuned for what is to come! Catch ya on the Flipside! SMAAAAAAASH!
