Helloooooo! How are you, everyone? I'm honestly doing great! Well while I wanted to wait until I got the first chapter of "Heroes of the Realm" done, but I got so many good ideas from my research, as well as some music videos, that I couldn't hold off any longer! So I want to present to you guys the Foreword of this story. To be honest, after doing the research I have done today, I'm actually quite proud of myself of what I've managed to accomplish!

So First thing's First, as I said in the last chapter of "The Friendly Neighborhood Hero: Spiderman" I am restarting the story due to several screw ups i made in the last story, and that I will be using Elements from that story to make sure I can do things correctly and use it as a guide! Now, as stated in the original story, I had wanted to modify my oc's relationship based on the symbiotic relationships between certain species of frogs and tarantulas that work together in order to keep each other alive. In this relationship, the frogs devour flying insects and ants that threaten both the tarantula and it's eggs, whilst the Tarantula protects the spiders from heavy hitters like snakes for example. Okay bad example, cuz Habuko Mongoose, Tsuyu's best friend, is a snake… But maybe I can use that for comedic effect later! In any case, Tsuyu and Mikumo's friendship starts off as an instinctive mutualistic symbiosis thanks to their synchronizing quirks, and this relationship slowly buds into a romance!

Now there is a couple of alterations I need to make clear that happened between this story and the other story. The First thing I need to make clear is that my oc, Mikumo, will not be the only person obtaining this quirk. Izuku will also be obtaining this Quirk, and before you grab your torches and pitchforks, let me explain why. You see I've been doing research for weeks, hell months, wracking my brains trying to figure out what kind of spiders I could give Mikumo that wouldn't make him too Overpowered in this reincarnation of this story. That is when I listened to a song from the first season of Kamen Rider I ever watched "Kamen Rider Den-O". That song was "Action Zero" the Theme Song of Kamen Rider Zeronos. During the song it has the two singers say the names of their specific forms "Vega" and "Altair". That brought me back to an idea I had boiling in the backburner a while back, with Izuku and Mikumo being twins. That was when I remembered that, during my research, I had learned that the Taxonomic Order that Spiders come from has 2 Suborders, Mesothelae and Opisthothelae, and in the latter of these two, there are two Infraorers, Araneomorphae and Mygalomorphae. When I listened to the song again, instead of "Vega/Altair" I heard in my mind "Mygalo/Araneo" which gave me the idea to give Izuku one-half of the Spider Quirk. Izuku would be the "Classic Spiderman" who has all the archetypal traits of Araneomorph Spiders, which are spiders that use webs in similar ways that Spider-Man does, and Mikumo, he would be given the other half the Spider Quirk.

This half of the Spider Quirk would allow Mikumo to utilize the abilities of Mygalomorph Spiders, which are spiders that are bigger and stronger than Araneomorph spiders, but also generally create silk-lined burrows that they remain in, some of them creating elaborate mazes that allow them to retreat to different parts of their burrows to. In terms of a team dynamic, Izuku is the faster, more agile tactician and strategist of their pairing, while Mikumo is the hardier and stronger brawler of the two, the two complimenting each other well. However, this Dynamic could also work well with Tsuyu as well, as she is a fast, nimble, and powerful support fighter.

Now in order to limit their powers, I took a little bit of inspiration from Tsuyu's Wikipedia Entry that lists the basic number of abilities that her quirk possesses, and then I took some inspiration from a video I found on Youtube by a great guy called Plot Armor called "Tsuyu Asui (Froppy) Frog Quirk Evolution! - My Hero Academia" in which I carefully counted the number of possible upgrades he made to Tsuyu's Quirk, including the minor additions he made, to the Spider Quirk. So with the 7 basic abilities in the Frog Quirk from Tsuyu's Entry, and the 6 upgrades that Plot Armor suggested for Tsuyu, that comes out to a total of 13 total powers that Mikumo and Izuku could have. Now to make sure that Tsuyu isn't left in the dust, I will be giving her the upgrades that Plot Armor suggested for Tsuyu. I will also give Izuku's love interest, once I decide who she is, the Upgrades that Plot Armor has decided for her, modify them slightly to suit my story, and then hopefully things will go smoothly.

Now, I am sure you guys are wondering what kind of abilities I gave to the Spider Quirk, and while I would like to surprise you guys with what I have planned in the Prologue, I'm afraid I can't do that, not this time, because I want you all to know the limits I set for myself so that way, if I ever break my canon, you guys can tell me so I can go back and fix it later! So I'm counting on you guys to help me remember my own canon in this one! So let's start with Spider's basic attributes… So I will go with each trait and explain them.

-Wall-Crawling (This one was pretty obvious, as all spiders are crawling across almost all surfaces, including glass!)

-Enhanced Senses (Vision, Touch, Seismic Sense) [This one was also kind of obvious, as while some spiders have poor vision, others have great vision, but more than that, they have a very sensitive sense of touch, some more specialized in it to be able to detect vibrations in the air and in the ground with specialized motion detecting hairs called Trichobothria.]

-Enhanced Physical Abilities [As Spider-Man has his physical abilities enhanced to the proportionate level of that of a Spider, this one was a bit of a given]

-Silk Generation/Manipulation [Also a given for these guys, however, unlike Spider-Man, the silk that Mikumo and Izuku will generate is all natural, though each of them will have specialized webs suited to their infraorder of spiders.

-Exoskeleton [This one I had decided to add to the mutation as it seemed appropriate for a Mutation. Both boys will be obtaining super tough exoskeletons that will naturally grow over the surface of their skins. However, this will come with the weakness of the boys needing to shed their old exoskeletons, leaving them weak and vulnerable underneath their costumes or clothes, and naked, since they will need to remove their clothes in order to shed. Plus their exoskeletons will be extremely soft in comparison until it begins to harden, plus it will be hard for them to eat food normally as their teeth will also be softer after the molt.]

-Metal Teeth [Now I don't know if you guys know this, but did you know that the fangs of spiders actually contain traces of metal in them? It's true, I looked up an article named "Packing metal in Fangs, Claws and Jaws." from 2008 that reveals that spiders have very minute amounts of trace metals in their fangs, with the majority of the metal focused into the tips, allowing them to pierce the tough chitin exoskeletons of insects and other spiders. Thus, I've decided that Izuku and Mikumo's teeth also have metals in them to make them tougher and stronger. However, instead of Iron, Copper, Zinc, and Manganese, I will be using trace amounts of Chromium (For Hardness), Tungsten (for Tensile Strength), Titanium (For impact Strength and weight lessening), and Iron (To help bond the metals).]

-Venom Generation [Now this one is a bit of a given, as all spiders in the Araneo and Mygalo Infraorders all produce venom.]

Now for each individual spiderman, each of them will have unique traits that will cause them to be unique in each aspect, however, I have a bit of a surprise for all of you! I've actually decided to split One For All amongst Mikumo and Izuku. Now I know you guys think this is crazy, but I have an explanation to this, but this will have to wait until the Prologue, as I will be able to explain it fully to each of you! However suffice it to say that Toshinori Yagi will be the literal DadMight of this story, and that Mikumo and Izuku's Spider Quirks have been influenced by One For All. So to further explain this, I will start with Mikumo and then Izuku.

For Mikumo:

Burrowing (Trapdoor Spider) [This one is a bit of a given as most Mygalomorph Spiders choose to make burrows themselves, however what I am referring is the concept of burrowing, digging. Trapdoor Spiders are able to dig in sand and dirt in order to create their burrows so that they can traps to survive. With Mikumo and One For All's Influence, Mikumo is capable of digging through rock and stone with ease, allowing him to create trapdoors in any environment]

Enhanced Venom (Sydney Funnelweb Spider) [Now many know the dangers of a Sydney Funnelweb's Venom, but when amplified by One For All, this venom is lethal, so Mikumo will try to use his venom only as a last resort as he has Antivenom on hand in case the villains he tries to capture are about to die due to it.]

Armored Exoskeleton (Armored Trapdoor Spider) [The Normal Exoskeleton of the Spider Quirk is generally tough at is, but when amplified, it becomes much tougher and stronger, containing the same trace elements as Mikumo's teeth, but also having natural blade-like spurs on them.]

Silk Constructs (Curtain Web Spiders) [Curtain Web Spiders are capable of producing massive maze-like webs in their given areas, and if combined with the Burrowing Ability, Mikumo could drag his enemies into massive mazes beneath the ground lined with silk to sense where his enemies are and know where they are at all times. That and he can produce shelters for injured civilians, amongst other things. When Amplified by One For All, well you can kinda get the picture, hopefully.'

Urticating Hairs/Needle Projection (New World Tarantulas) [Now this is an ability I wanted to use last time, but it never came up due to the fact that whenever I had the chance to use it, I completely forgot about it. However, as you might not know, Urticating Hairs are barbed bristles on New World Tarantulas that are capable of causing severe itching, and in worst cases, allergic creations. Now imagine Mikumo's hair actually turning into these barbed bristles, some of them the size of acupuncture needles, just imagine the damage they could do!]

Enhanced Bite (Purseweb Spider) [Now not many people know this, but Purseweb spiders not only create interesting webs, but they have damn long fangs, fangs long, strong, and sharp enough to rip through their own silk, so just imagine what teeth and jaws like that with One For All backing them up could do? It's scary to think about]

Now for Izuku, see if you guys can spot the difference

So now you see the differences, with Mikumo, I took the Power Stockpiling half of One For All and added it into his unique traits, whilst with Izuku, I recreated each of the Quirks that had been Assimilated into One For All! However, that isn't all I had added to Izuku! As we all know, Spider-Man got his Powers from a bite from a spider, so can you guess what happens with Izuku bites someone? That's right! If they are Quirkless, he transfers a copy of his Spider Quirk onto the person he bites, if they manage to survive the side-effects of his venom! Now the caveat is that the person HAS to be quirkless before he can transfer a copy onto the recipient. So anyway that is all I have to say about the Quirk for now.

Now I will inform you guys that I have been working on my research all day and this foreword all night, so I will be taking a week off before I try writing the Prologue Chapter, and I know I've missed something that I wanted to cover, but I'll take care of that in the Author's Note in the Prologue Chapter! So I hope you guys enjoyed this brief explanation to my thought processes behind this story.
