"I've had the Nine Tails inside me this whole time,and he never told me...He's been lying to my face for years!"

Naruto ran through trees,scroll on his back,tears in his eyes,thinking back to how Mizuki told him the truth about why the villagers treated him so horrbily his whole life. "Dad knew I'm a monster and HE LIED TO ME!"

Naruto,in his fit,missed the next tree and stumbled down to the ground,landing on his face. He sniffled as he pushed himself of the ground as Iruka landed behind him. He walked over to Naruto,who grabbed onto the scroll and crawling away from Iruka as fast as he could in response. "Don't come near me,or i'll...!" "Naruto,listen to me."

Naruto shook his head. "You've been lying to me! And you'll just keep lying to me! I'll just undo my seal and...!" "Naruto don't...!" "Why not?!"

Naruto clinched his eyes shut,tears rolling,and his shoved his face into the scroll. "The villagers outcasted and lied to me! They used me! They abused me! They wouldn't let me live like a normal kid!" He tightened his grip. "And you...You'd lie to my face everytime I asked why..." He lifted up his head. "I have every right to become a monster!"

At that,Iruka ran over and pulled Naruto into a hug. Naruto tried pushing away,Iruka just tightened his grip. "Naruto. I'm so sorry.". Naruto shook his head. "I have been wanting to tell you for a long time now. But Lord Third...He said if I did,he'd take you away." Naruto looked up. "W-why?" "He said either you don't know to protect you or you know and have to be taken somewhere else so you don't let it slip if you learn about it."

Naruto dug his nails into the scroll. "I could have kept it quiet! Do you guys really not trust me enough...!" "I trust you. But I didn't want to lose you and have you put right back into a miserable childhood." Naruto lifted up his head as Iruka stroked his hair. "I want you happy and I knew that if Lord Third took you away,you'd be put back in that apartment,he'd separate us by moving me to different class and you'd end up being bullied,and the hospital would end up using you again. I don't want you ever to deal with again."

The scroll fell to the ground as Naruto threw his arms around Iruka and buried his face into Iruka's chest. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean..." He lifted up his head. "I just wanted..." Iruka shook his head. "It's alright Naruto."

Iruka picked up the scroll,gave it back to Naruto,and picked a giant log. "You go hide and i'll take care of Mizuki." He weaved a hand sign,transforming himself into Naruto and the log into the scroll,"Keep that scroll safe." Naruto nodded and ran off to hide as Iruka jumped up and got Mizuki's,who was transformed into Iruka,attention.

Iruka led him around in a circle before he ramming into his stomach,knocked him out the trees. Mizuki dropped his disguise as he asked,"How did you know?". Iruka smiled and dropped his disguise,"Because i'm Iruka.

Mizuki let out a "Tsk." before he balled up his fist. "What are you protecting that brat for anyway?! The Nine Tails killed your parents! You're just being used by the Hokage to keep the Nine Tails on a leash!"

Naruro tightened his grip on the scroll. "Dad wouldn't... He's not..."

"Maybe I am."

Naruto gasped,tightening his grip more as Iruka said,"Yes the Nine Tails killed my parents. And yeah,maybe I am being used a leash for him." Iruka lifted up his head,"But Naruto's not the Nine Tails. He's a hard working child with a high spirits,a villager of the Leaf,a fellow Shinobi,but must importantly...He's my son!"

Naruto sniffled as tears rolled down his face.

Mizuki let out another "Tsk!" before pulling out the giant shudiken on his back and said,"Well I'll cut down the "leash" and then take care of the Nine Tails myse...?!"

Iruka gasped as Naruto punched Mizuki hard enough to knock him down. Naruto put the scroll down next to Iruka and said,"Touch my Dad and i'll kill you!"

Weaving the hand signs,smoke appeared and cleared to reveal thousands Narutos surrounding Mizuki. Mizuki and Iruka gasped before all the Naruto charged at Mizuki.

Iruka,smiling,pat Naruto's head while Mizuki's beaten body laid off to the side. "Good job Naruto." Naruto scratched his cheeked with a little blush on his face. Iruka smiled and had Naruto close his eyes.

Naruto felt Iruka messing with his head and,after a couple mintues,said,"Dad?" He heard Iruka say,"Open your eyes." and opened them to see Iruka,giving a closed eye smile and headbandless. "Congratulations. You made me so proud."

Naruto's eyes teared up as he touched the headband on his head. "I-i'm... He's proud of me?"

Iruka gasped when Naruto knocked him down with a hug and cried,"Thank you Dad!". Iruka smiled and stroked his hair. "You're welcome."

Iruka fiddled his hands on the table as he looked up at the masked,white haired man on the other. "Kakashi..." Kakashi looked up from the papers he had as Iruka took a deep breath. "I...As Naruto's Sensei,I wish you the best of luck with him." Kakashi nodded. "Thanks. I'll try..." "But..." Iruka straightened up and looked Kakashi in his uncovered eye. "As Naruto's father,i'm telling you. Don't,and I mean DON'T,make Naruto use his healing ability."

Iruka lowered his head. "He's suffered enough from being forced to use it. I don't want him to suffer more trauma."

Kakashi nodded. "I swear I won't make Naruto use it."

Iruka looked back up. "I mean it."

Naruto watched Hinata run away with a red face before he could thank her for the new ointment she just gave him and turned back around as the classroom's door slammed opened,revealing a pink haired and blonde hair girl fighting to get in. "Move it Billboard Brow!" "You move it,Ino Pig!"

Naruto let out a huff as he placed his chin in his palm. "Great. Ino and Sakura."

Naruto actually did use to have a crush on Sakura before,he wasn't sure why though. He guess she might be cute and she does give Sasuke a lot of attention,which annoyed him for some reason,but she insulted him just like that nurse from the hospital use to,and he couldn't stand her anymore.

Ino never really did anything to get on Naruto's bad side,but she's just as annoying about Sasuke as Sakura is.

Sakura ran over and shouted,"Move it! I'm sitting next to Sasuke!" Naruto gave a quick glance over at Sasuke before looking back at Sakura. "No. I was here first."

Sakura growled before she jumped onto Naruto,climbed over him,and pushed him out of the way. She smiled as she gave a cheery,"Hi Sasuke!" Sasuke simply ignored her.

Naruto growled to himself as he got up from the ground and looked over at Sasuke. He remember Sasuke use to be really cheery,but after his clan was massacred,he changed and became withdrawn,bit of an ass too. He offered Sasuke to have a meal and stay with him and Iruka for a while a couple months after the massacre,but Sasuke snapped at him and yelled about not needing pity.

He and the class looked over as Iruka silenced them and said,"Now that you've all graduated and become Shinobi,you'll all be spilt up into 3 man teams. It'll help teach you teamwork. Also keep in mind that the Hokage himself picked these teams."

Sakura looked back and whispered,"I know i'll be put on Sasuke's team while you'll be stuck with someone like Shino." Ino glared at him and said,"You should cut your hair when you find out you're not." Naruto and Sasuke both sighed in annoyance.

"Team Seven! Naruto Uzumaki!"

Naruto looked over at Iruka as he said,"Sakura Haruno!" He and Sakura lowered their heads in disappointment before Iruka said,"And Sasuke Uchiha!" Sakura jumped with a cheer as Naruto thought,"Great. That jerk and her."

Naruto jumped up and shouted,"Why do I have to be on the same team as those two?!" Iruka sighed,"Lord Third assigned the team's to help each other's weaknesses. In your case,you score lowest and Sasuke scored around the top." Naruto pouted,"Then why her?" "She has higher scores,but you two can help make up for her practical skills."

Naruto sat back down and sighed,making Iruka frown before went back to announcing the teams. "Team Eight. Hinata Hyuga,Kiba Inuzuka,and Shino Aburame."

Hinata looked over at her teammates with a small smile before looking down at Naruto,thinking to herself,"Good luck,Naruto."

Ino huffed when Iruka said she was on Team Ten with Shikamaru and Choji as he finished listing off the teams.

Once he was finished,Iruka cleared his throat and said,"Now that you're split into teams,your senseis will be here to pick you up. Enjoy some down time till then."

Naruto watched Sakura bug Sasuke to eat together as he slurped down some ramen. "Can't she take a hint?"

Naruto honestly didn't know the first thing about getting people to go on dates or what Sasuke likes,besides the rumor he likes girls with long hair,but even he could see how painfully obvious it was that Sasuke wasn't interested.

"Come on Sasuke.~ Lunch together really won't hurt.~"

Sasuke only glared in response before turning to walk away.

Naruto tapped his fingers in annoyance on the desk as Sakura said,"Our Sensei's late."

The three sat in the now empty classroom and were all silently agreeing,"Our Sensei sucks..."

Naruto huffed as he pushed himself from his desk and grabbed an eraser from the chalkboard and wedged it in the top of the door frame. "What are you doing?"

Naruto smirks at Sakura,"He wants to waste our time,I'll teach him a lesson."

Sakura shook her head and started lecturing him while in the back of her mind,a Mini Sakura was giggle about the whole thing,"Can't wait to see that smack the Sensei's head."

As Naruto snipped back at her,the door slid open as a soft thunk could be heard,causing the kids to turn around and see a white haired,masked man with an eraser on his head.

Naruto snickered,"Hahaha!! I got you good,Ya Know!",Sakura panicked and started apologizing for Naruto's actions as the mini Inner Sakura laughed along,and Sasuke sighed,"This guy is a Jounnin...?"

"My name's Kakashi,I like certain things,I don't like certain things,and my dream is... well mine. I got lots of hobbies too." Kakashi looked over at the kids. "Now you guys."

Naruto smiled and tugged on his headband,a small blush on his face. "My name's Naruto Uzumaki,Ya Know! I like pulling pranks and eating ramen,all kinds of ramen too! It's best when my Dad takes me to Ichiraku Ramen! I don't like vegetables and people who try and use others are jerks." His smile got more determined as he pointed at the Leaf symbol on his headband,"And my dream is to be Hokage,so people will stop looking down on me and respect me."

Naruto then slipped back into his more childish nature as he said,"My hobby is watering plants,Ya Know. I especially like watering the ones my Dad got me cause he always gets me these pretty orange ones."

Kakashi nodded,"Sounds about Kushina...",then looked over at Sakura.

Sakura smiled,"My name's Sakura Haruno. My favorite thing is..." . She slyly blushed,"Well it's more of a person,a boy...And that boy is..." A squee slipped out as Kakashi sighed,"Boy crazy,is it?"

Sakura sits up and glares over at Naruto,"And what I hate is Naruto."

As Sakura started listing off her hobbies,Naruto stuck his tongue out her in response to her comment.

The three looked over at Sasuke,who had a very cold look in his eyes. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha,I like things and hate things,my hobbies aren't important,and my goal is..." the look in his eye got colder,an icy gloss could almost be seen,"To resort my clan and kill a certain someone."

Sakura thought Sasuke was so cool as her cheeks turned a deep red while sweat went down Naruto's face. "Sasuke..."

A couple days have passed since the team took and passed a bell test Kakashi gave them. Naruto was caught cheating and Kakashi told the others to not feed him,but Sasuke said retaking the test is no good if Naruto's starving.

When Sakura gave in and fed Naruto too,Kakashi appeared and told them they passed. Kakashi also learned their skill levels at what he has to work with. Sasuke's the best,Naruto's got some spunk,but has a lot of work to do,and Sakura seemed very concerned with Sasuke. Could be a problem if she doesn't learn to focus on the important things.

Now,the team is enjoying some time off after another D rank mission was finished. Or,at least they're trying to.

"Maaaannn! Walking dogs is so boring,Ya Know!"

Naruto sighed in frustration as he flopped to the ground,"We should be doing more cool things,Ya Know." Sakura only scoffed in response. "You should be grateful we're getting missions at all."

Naruto glared at her while Sasuke let out a "Hn." He pushed himself off of the tree he had been leaning on and said,"He's not exactly wrong. This simple missions are a waste of time."

They looked over as Sasuke realized what he just said and turned his head away,"Tsk. I wasn't agreeing with him or anything."

Naruto ran over and grabbed Sasuke's collar,"What do you mean?! You did too! You know i'm right,Ya Know!"

The two butted heada,flaring their nostrils at each other,as Sakura tried pulling them apart until Naruto pushed Sasuke,who knocked down Sakura and pulled Naruto down by grabbing his jacket's collar. The team stumbled down the hill,Sasuke getting scrapes on his legs and Sakura getting scrapes on her arms. Naruto also got scraped up on his face,but healed near instantly due to the Nine-Tails.

"Good job Idiot!"

"How come you didn't get hurt?!"

Sasuke and Sakura gives Naruto glares as Naruto gets up and dusts himself off.

"Naruto. Come here."

Naruto flinched and looked over to see Kakashi,arms crossed and under a tree. He walked over and kept his gaze away from Kakashi's,"Your teammates seem to be covered in scrapes now,hmm?" Naruto looked up a bit,"Yeah. You want me to apologize or something?"

"No. I want you to heal them."

Naruto felt his blood run cold and his chest tighten as he grabbed his arms. "W-why? I c-can just..." Naruto felt himself shaking. Why does Kakashi want him to do this? He thought he wasn't suppose to be using it anymore.

Kakashi placed his hands on Naruto's shoulders. "For trust between teammates. Imagine if Sasuke or Sakura get hurt and they can't get medical help. You'll be able to lend a hand until we can get them the help they need."

Naruto loosened his grip on his arms and nodded,keeping his head down. After taking a deep breath,Naruto turned around and walked over to his teammates. "I guess that makes sense but..." he grabbed his arm again. "I still really don't..."

Sasuke looked over as Naruto walked up. He noticed something was off with him though. He seemed so small,holding himself,and shaking? "That's not like Naruto at all."

Naruto,looking away from the others,held out his arm and said,"B... Bite me."

Sakura blushed slightly in shock. "Whhhaaa?! What are you planning" She raised her fist,"Something weird?!!"

Naruto shook his head,frantically waving his hands in front of himself,"N-no!! I just- It's to help!!"

Sakura prepared to slam her fist into Naruto's face with no mercy as Naruto flinched,bracing himself for it,but instead felt a tug on his arm. He and Sakura looked over as Sasuke rolled up his sleeve and bit down,a bit too hard for Naruto's liking,making him wince in pain. Sasuke felt his scrapes slowly heal as he sucked out more Chakra while Sakura watched in awe.

"And that...",he let got of Naruto's arm,"is why Naruto wants you to bite his arm." He glares at her,"He's trying to help you."

Sakura lowered her head in shame as Sasuke walked off then looked over when Naruto lifted up his arm. She bit down,a lot more gently then Sasuke did since she felt bad,while Sasuke leaned on a tree again.

He clenched his fists at the memories of ninjas dragging Naruto away or find Naruto in alleyways,covered in bite marks. It really shouldn't have,but thinking of them just pissed Sasuke off.

Iruka tilted his head at his uncharacteristically sad son poked the food on his plate. "Naruto? Something happen today?"

Naruto gave a quick,fake smile and said,"Oh! No. I just... i'm not very hungry tonight,Ya Know." He put his fork and pushed himself up from his chair. "I'm just...gonna go to bed."

He walked over to the stairs. "Night Dad."

"Goodnight Naruto."

Iruka watched Naruto walk up the stairs and started cleaning up the table.

Naruto looked down at his arm and run his finger over the two new bite scars he had gotten today. It made him feel so depressed. He thought he was finally free of having to deal with the biting,but today proved him wrong.

"Guess i'm stuck with it,huh...?"

He threw his arms down in frustration. "Tsk. I hate being stuck... It's not fair..."

Sorry it's been a while,guys. Life and stuff,you know? Anyway,I tried to make this chapter a bit long then most of the others to give ya'll some extra content to enjoy while i'm updating the other stories that I have neglected.
