I do have a soft spot for Anti-Sparky. This is a story of how Timmy and Anti-Sparky's relationship would be if they were buddies, if Anti-Sparky would change a little. Let me know what you think of this little tale.

~Cold~

Anti-Sparky often came off his cold and unemotional, often keeping a menacing scowl. He hated humans. He'd take great pleasure and revel in the suffering of others, getting a sick sense of satisfaction watching them tremble and quake in terror, only really smiling when he's causing misery.

"Exactly how I like it, in flames." Anti-Sparky laughed evilly, walking away from the burning wreckage of the Turner's car.

"You always have an appetite for destruction, even more than me." Timmy commented, turning back around and heading inside with his dark pet.

Rolling his eyes, Anti-Sparky hopped on the couch and scoffed at the kid's exploits of destruction. "Kid, you'd get rid of me if you knew even half of the horrible junk I've done. Burning your babysitter's house down with lava? Child's play." Anti-Sparky remarked.

"And do what kill people?" Timmy raised a brow.

"Starting a purge would be more fun. You know, people fighting for survival, the strong purge the weak." Anti-Sparky elaborated. "I can make it happen. Make this a place into a real dystopian society, give you a weapon, and then you got all you need to play in the cruel and unforgiving reality of life."

The benefits of having an Anti-Fairy, Timmy can take advantage of it and use for his selfish whims. Recalling how Anti-Sparky seemed to goad him on, encouraging him to cause acts of destruction, it was like he took pride in seeing him burn houses to the ground, drop a cinder block off a a bridge. It seemed to improve his new pet's opinion of him whenever he committed such acts.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say you and I get close whenever I cause chaos, right?" Timmy inquired, as Anti-Sparky's expression changed and he gave an annoyed growl. "You like me more than you let on."

Anti-Sparky hated how bright the kid was at times. He did enjoy living here, a better arrangement than staying at that pet store, but he'd never let his new owner know his emotions and what he felt. He felt the tiniest bit of pity for him when found out he lost Sparky, feeling a kind of obligation to look after the boy since becoming his pet.

"Kid, I like you even less than you like me. Compared to Poop, you're like one percent more tolerable than him, that's it." Anti-Sparky commented, not meaning it, but he refused to show an emotional side. "In fact, I'll go as far to say I don't entirely detest you."

"You're a ten year old's best friend, you know that? But you're my best friend." Timmy said, sitting beside Anti-Sparky on the couch.

"I'd reconsider calling me that, kid." Anti-Sparky reminded him, only for Timmy to shrug it off and start petting him. "Hey! What I say about petting?" He growled at him, shooting a piercing glare at the child.

At best, he'd tolerate being petted, giving an annoyed snarl. Timmy kept petting him, growing used to the feeling that he's essentially petting his casket. He ran his hand along his muzzle and rubbed his chin, hearing Anti-Sparky growl and even attempt to bite him.

"If you're smart, you won't ignore the warning." Anti-Sparky warned him, bearing his teeth. "I'll bite you."

"Eh, if you were serious, you would've already taken my hand off." Timmy brushed off the threat. "I should be able to pet my own dog, evil or not, you're my friend and I like you."

Anti-Sparky froze when he heard that, Timmy liked him, he genuinely had grown attached to him. What was wrong with this child? He likes the dog that was demolishing houses with a wrecking ball? Bewildered, Anti-Sparky just relented and allowed Timmy to pet him.

"You aren't friendly like Sparky, but still super cute like him." Timmy chuckled, putting an arm around Anti-Sparky.

Giving a surprised yelp, Anti-Sparky replayed what the child had said, calling him cute. Demonic red eyes, bat wings, and a skull on the tip of his tail. He's as cuddly as a cactus, but nonetheless accepted the flattering comment. He wasn't exactly used to being complimented either.

"I hate you sometimes." Anti-Sparky groaned.

Chuckling, Timmy hugged Anti-Sparky, who let out a muffled gasp. Nuzzling into the dark dog's fur, he smiled and enjoyed the moment, pouting when he felt the Anti-Fairy praying his arms off and pushing him a good distance away from him.

"You just made a new ground rule, no hugs! Period!" Anti-Sparky barked, biting at the air.

He never hugged back, he refused to allow himself to succumb to such a weakness. There was more bark to it than bite, he wouldn't attack the kid if he hugged him again. Considering how much the child has already suffered, inflicting pain on him would be redundant.

"Easy, it's okay for two friends to hug. You're still the same evil and cold Anti-Fairy I know." Timmy reassured his dark pet, though he knew how stubborn he was.

The cold attitude was like a mask Anti-Sparky wore, he wasn't the lovable dog that tackles his owner and licks him, he barely tolerated compliments and being petted, he never once has displayed any affection towards Timmy, only sitting beside him and laying in his bed.

"I'm still never going to hug you." Anti-Sparky barked, crossing his arms and turning away.

Why did he have to grow fond of the child? He should just leave and terrorize the world, but he can't. Even murdering his longtime tormentor Vicky, the scene was a slaughter and he had to admit, he got carried away, but the happy and overjoyed reaction from the child, knowing he liberated him from a constant hell he'd been living for years. He likely spared other kids from enduring her sadistic torture.

He felt sick to his stomach at times. Still, keeping aggressive and evil facade, he'd changed somewhat, at least around his owner. There were weaknesses he now held, compassion and empathy. He even got a grasp on love, horrified that Timmy cares for him a great deal and that he might love him back.

"Sometimes a hug just makes you feel better. I bet even you want one at times." Timmy said, scooting over to his friend.

Anti-Sparky faced Timmy, giving him a serious look, but casually blowing the kid's hair back. "Not likely. Come on, let's do something fun like kill your parents. Come on, I know you wanna do it." Anti-Sparky tried to change the subject.

"Nah. My dad suffers enough thinking the neighbor is evil, it would be a waste." Timmy brushed it off. "But come on, let me hug you! Please?"

"I said no!" Anti-Sparky barked.

Just why? He fought against his nature doing this. It was becoming more a struggle to keep his new emotions from emerging, but the admiration and respect he held for the child was in high regard. He didn't show any ounce of fear, despite his threatening presence.

"The Anti-Fairies might be seen as the ultimate evil, but they have feelings too, Anti-Sparky." Timmy reminded him, as Anti-Sparky thought of the odd yet loving union between Anti-Cosmo and Anti-Wanda, who had a better marriage than their counterparts. "Foop's a brat, but you seemed fine with him."

"Ended up eating that loser." Anti-Sparky grumbled. "You are a better owner compared to that square boxed freak."

He meant it. At least Timmy was okay with most of the pain and misery he causes, even going along with some of it. Foop on the other hand, such an annoying and pathetic excuse for an Anti-Fairy. Seriously, his race allows a baby to do their dirty work? How sad.

"You're warming up to me." Timmy smiled, petting Anti-Sparky, who groaned and tolerated it.

"Ten seconds, that's it. Keep petting you'll get bitten." Anti-Sparky threatened him.

"You really should lighten up and be happy someone likes you." Timmy reminded him. "I like you, Anti-Sparky. Not just because you're my dog, but well, you've done a lot for me, even been there for me during some hard times. I know you're not Sparky, but you do keep his memory alive. I know you don't like hugs and stuff, but I know deep down you're not as bad as you say you are."

Shrugging, Anti-Sparky relented a bit, nudging himself closer to Timmy, sniffing the child. Giving a smile, Timmy pulled Anti-Sparky close, keeping an arm around his dark dog and petting him, hearing the annoyed growl coming from him.

"You aren't as insufferable as Poop, but this affection is a one time deal. Feel me?" Anti-Sparky commented, somewhat liking the moment he's sharing with Timmy.

He might appear cold towards Timmy, but deep down, he cared. Friendship? A foolish concept he thought would never apply to the likes him, but now, he's friends with the child and while he fights against his own darkness, he's all but surrendered himself to his predicament.

While petting the Anti-Fairy dog, Timmy wrapped his arms around him and pulled him into a hug, he smelled like a graveyard, but he ignored the stench of death and hugged his evil pet. Gasping, Anti-Sparky froze, sighing in defeat as he closed his eyes and brought his paws up to rest on the child's hands. It was revolting, but he decided to at least let him have this one moment.

"Thank you, Anti-Sparky." Timmy whispered, hugging him a little more.

Wiggling out of the hug, Anti-Sparky's expression softened somewhat, faking a cough. "No problem, Timmy." He rarely addressed him by his name, trying to hide the slightest bit of sounding sincere to him. "If you're done wanting to get emotional, do you want to have some fun with the city dam?"

"Flooding the town? Sure, why not?" Timmy rolled his eyes, taking out a new chew toy. "But first. I got this for you, new chew toy."

Curse this annoying trait he shares with his counterpart, he couldn't resist having a genuine smile on his face, desiring to catch it and hear that satisfying squeaking noise. Looking at Timmy, he looked less aggressive and more playful, barking as he leapt towards the child and chew toy.

"Chew toy!" Anti-Sparky barked, as Timmy threw the toy and he caught it in his mouth, landing atop his laughing and happy owner.

Underneath the cold exterior, Anti-Sparky had a heart and he was subject to such weaknesses himself, even embracing some of them. He cares about Timmy, never admitting it, but he does care.

The end.
