I'm always so overwhelmed by the amount of support and love!
Onto the date!
Sasuke had wracked his brain for days, trying to figure out what he and Naruto could do for their first date. He'd never been on an official date before. Just hangouts that turned to hook-ups/flings. And with Sakura – well she'd planned everything for them, sometimes down to their outfits. He'd been distracted at the office, straining his eyes as he tried to focus on the screen filled with spreadsheets. Yet he couldn't help but keep going back to the 15 browser tabs opened, trying to decide where they should go.
Only a restaurant sounded too simple.
Movies? No. That didn't sound right either.
He got home and distractedly did laundry, he'd almost poured bleach into his dark clothes!
The answer came after texting Naruto nonstop for a good two days. He learned how much Naruto loved animals. Particularly frogs. He'd been in the shower washing his hair when the thought hit him.
Suigetsu.
Now he'd never want to imagine Suigetsu while he showered ever again, but at this moment it was perfect.
Suigetsu worked at the animal conservation center and while he focused more on marine animals, he had access to all sections as a chairman. The very same conservation center had an entire section that focused solely on frogs.
He ran the idea through Karin while he had dinner at their place and after her excitement (that had earned him a 'loving' punch on the shoulder), along with Suigetsu's wiggling eyebrows, they'd come up with the greatest plan.
Naruto had tried to ask nonstop what type of outfit he should wear and even though Sasuke knew that no matter what he wore, Naruto would be striking, he'd told him to just dress casually, like when they went to the bar.
Hopefully without the transparent shirt that tantalized Sasuke for the whole night. He wasn't sure how he'd be able to get through a whole date with that much skin. Especially now that he knew Naruto was interested in him and the possibilities of an actual relationship were extremely high. Wait, did a date count as them being in a relationship?
No?
No…
He cursed his minimal knowledge of relationships.
The night before he'd tossed and turned and barely got any sleep. The excitement and anticipation were killing him and giving him a damn stomachache.
When he woke, he went through his closet, trying to decide what to wear. What the hell did people wear to a conservation center? He found an outfit inside a Balmain garment bag that his mother had gifted him a year ago. He unzipped it and found a black Balmain jacket with thick silver buttons and a white shirt underneath, the white sleeves rolled up and tucked above the black sleeves of the jacket. It was paired with black slacks with a rolled cuffs at the bottom, a belt, and black oxford loafers. It was perfect.
He picked up Naruto, whose casual outfit consisted of tight high waisted jeans that accentuated his curves, a sapphire blue Hermes belt, a dark blue, and black soft wool Louis Vuitton sweater, and black loafers. His hair was in a long braid and he had blue eyeshadow and eyeliner. Naruto made casual look so fucking good and he couldn't help but feel slightly insecure about his outfit.
"Hi." Naruto leaned over and gave Sasuke a gentle kiss in greeting, admiring the light blush that spread on Sasuke's cheeks. The blonde fought back a grin. He loved flustering Sasuke and it was quickly becoming his favorite hobby. He wondered what else he could do to fluster the stoic man.
"Hi."
Naruto's eyes shined with mirth, jittering with excitement, "So where are we going?"
Sasuke fawned over Naruto's enthusiasm, "The Conservation Center."
Naruto gaped, "I've always wanted to go!"
He smirked, "Suigetsu is one of the head people, so we'll get some behind-the-scenes perks." Fuck was he fucking proud of his idea.
"That is so awesome!"
Sasuke threw caution to the wind and interlaced their fingers. During the drive, Naruto talked to him about his week. He loved hearing Naruto speak. He was fascinated by the way he spoke.
Suigetsu left them a pass at the front desk, not wanting to intrude on their date. Naruto's face shined with childish glee as they crossed to the frog conversation area. It was a huge area, filled with lush scenery and warm lights behind pristine panes of glass. It almost looked like a piece of a rainforest placed there. There was a couple of TVs displaying information about every single one.
Naruto peered through each and every area, eyes wide and pressed against the glass. Sasuke was temporarily forgotten but he was completely okay with it as he fondly looked on. After a while, one of the attendants led them past the employee-only area and let Naruto gently touch (the ones that weren't poisonous) and feed all of the frogs. Even the endangered ones.
Naruto looked at Sasuke like he had gifted him a priceless gem by the time they left the section.
He pulled Sasuke towards him, bubbling with glee. "Sasuke." He grabbed Sasuke's hand and squeezed it then lifted his own hands and ran his thumbs over his pale cheeks, wanting to smother him in kisses. This stunning, smart, incredible man did all this for him. It was hands down the best date Naruto had ever been on.
They went to the next section, which was the marine area. They got to play with penguins, turtles, and seals. Naruto liked seeing the sharks, but he stated he'd prefer to stay at a distance.
They were offered to get in the water with some of the penguins to help take care of them. Throughout the whole date, Sasuke couldn't stop staring at Naruto and Naruto held his gaze every time. He'd leaned in close, making Sasuke lose his breath every time. The animals were intrigued by them and Sasuke had to run away from some when they kept poking him. Naruto cackled the entire time.
After feeding all the animals, it was time for them to eat. Naruto dragged him to his favorite ramen restaurant, wanting to share a part of himself with Sasuke. It was a hole in the wall, easily overlooked by bystanders but Sasuke could see that they had a loyal clientele.
The owner greeted Naruto with joy, urging them to sit at the corner he'd playfully named Naruto's Den. No one else was allowed to sit there and he'd given Naruto free reign to design the tabletop.
Sasuke traced his finger over the colorful swirls, "This place is special to you."
Naruto nodded, "When I was at the orphanage, this was my safe space. We didn't have a lot of food and he fed me when I couldn't even afford it."
"A lot of ramen?"
Naruto laughed, "Yeah but he also made sure I ate vegetables and taught me how to cook other things."
Sasuke's face softened, "That's very kind of him."
"Yeah, he means a lot to me." He smiled into his ramen as he broke his chopsticks.
"I can see why." The ramen was fucking exquisite.
They ate in silence for a bit then Naruto spoke up, "How's Aiko handling Sakura not being around?"
Sasuke shrugged, "She didn't even notice at first, then didn't even care she was gone."
"Has she – bothered you?"
"She called me constantly until I blocked her off everything. She even sent me a dollar through an app just to say things through the memo."
The blonde's eyebrows raised, "She might send you a letter next."
Sasuke leaned forward and muttered, "Maybe even smoke signals."
"Yeah maybe." Naruto snickered.
"Have you had a lot of relationships?"
Naruto tucked his chin on his fist, "Not many. About 3? Two designers, worst idea ever by the way, and a stuffy businessman."
"Why was it the worst idea?"
"They kept trying to input their designs into mine. My designs are mine and personal, ya know? I put a lot of heart into them."
Sasuke nodded seriously, "I can definitely tell."
"And with the businessman, he was too dry and didn't want kids. I do."
"You're great with them. Well, I've only seen you with Aiko but… she adores you."
Naruto beamed, "I adore her too!"
"How many kids do you want?"
"A bunch. A whole team!" He held in his laugh as he saw the way Sasuke's eyes widened. "I'm kidding. Two? Three? I've always wanted a big family. I wouldn't even care if they called me mom." He waved his hand, "Terms like that don't bother me as long as they're happy."
Sasuke looked at him fondly, "You'd be a wonderful parent."
Naruto shifted and averted Sasuke's gaze, "Did you… want more?"
"I don't mind more, I just want Aiko to be happy."
"Well, she was ecstatic at getting another sibling."
Sasuke smirked, "You're right. What's three more, right?" He didn't want to outright say that he'd want kids with Naruto, as many as the blonde wanted, but he hoped the message was clear. It was obvious Naruto received it when the blonde looked flustered.
"Have you had many relationships?"
Sasuke shook his head, "No. Nothing serious. I guess Sakura was the only one."
Naruto nodded in thought, "Well for what it's worth, this has been the best date ever."
Sasuke warmly smiled, "I'm really glad."
They left a while later and during the drive they held hands again. Sasuke walked Naruto to the door, as much as he was desperate to be with Naruto, it'd been ages since he'd slept with a man. No matter how utterly attracted he was to him, he wanted to take it slow. Make sure Naruto understood how much he really liked him.
Naruto waited as Sasuke worked through his thoughts on how to go about kissing him. He rolled his eyes eventually and just cupped Sasuke's cheeks, placing a chaste kiss on it. This shy wonderful thoughtful man. Naruto liked him so so much already. It was almost scary.
Sasuke felt his body set aflame. He quickly deepened it, groaning at Naruto's taste. The plumpness of his lips and the tentative suck on his lips. He pressed Naruto against the door, devouring him in a way that left Naruto gasping for air. He felt Naruto's hands tightly grasp his waist and pulled him closer. He fought the urge to grab Naruto's plump ass and just continued to devour him with his mouth.
They eventually drew back, Sasuke trying to compose himself. He was about to start rutting against the man like a horny teenager. He pressed their foreheads together, "I want you so much. But not yet."
Naruto huffed in annoyance. He understood where Sasuke was coming from, but he really liked him. And wanted him. He'd felt Sasuke's boner briefly against him and the man was packing. Not that he wasn't either. He pouted, "Okay."
Sasuke closed his eyes and groaned, "Don't do that."
Naruto's pout curled into a coy smile, "Do what?"
"That." He gathered his last bit of restraint and walked away, "Few more dates."
"We'll see." Naruto singsonged, determined to break Sasuke's resolve.
"I'll be walking away now before you seduce me."
Naruto laughed, "Yeah yeah. I get to pick the next date!"
"Deal."
