"Haaaa… haaaaa…" Sora panted as he was on his knees. "Ah geez…" He panted.

"Your hand to hand is severely lacking…" Bea said. "I mean, it's understandable, given how you fight with just your melee weapon."

"Cut me some slack… I never threw a punch in my life!"

"That would explain why your punches felt soft…" Bea nodded. "Still, if we continue doing this, you might just be able to pull it off. Hit me again, come on!"

"Alright…" Sora cast an Esuna as he got back up and started punching Bea, but she was able to block these rather easily… until Sora would throw in a right hook to her cheek, which was strong enough to knock Bea's head a bit. "Oh!" He winced. "Sorry, I didn't mean to hit you that hard."

"No no, it's fine." Bea said with a chuckle. "That was your strongest punch you could muster?"

"Hey, I'm training in front of a young woman who trained with those things!" He said, pointing his thumb behind him as Machop was casually lifting up a Machoke who was reading a weightlifting magazine while Machamp was doing pushups with one arm… with a large boulder on his back for some reason.

"Yeah, that would do it." Bea said and then giggled. "I should've known that I'd treat your punches like they were soft feathers. I tanked a lot of hits from those guys." She said.

"Wait… HUH?!" Sora said as he turned to the Machop line, remembering what Bea had said earlier about one of them able to destroy a Dump Truck with one punch as he turned back to Bea in bewilderment. "How are you not dead?"

"Strong will and determination. Nessa thinks I'm absolutely insane. Marnie thinks I'm a woman of steel and… Gloria thinks I'm not even human." Bea said, and then giggled again. "Honestly, I can see why they think that. No one can tank a punch from a Machamp just like that."

Sora sweatdropped. "Ooookaaaaay…" So uh… should I give her a referral to Hercules or…? He wondered to himself.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Come in." Bea said as Cloud opened the door. "Oh hey Cloud, what's up?"

"I see you're working Sora to the bone." Cloud said.

"Just training him up. …You look a little surprised. What is it?" She asked as Cloud whispered in Bea's ear, causing her eyes to widen.

"WHAT?!" Bea yelled in surprise. "I didn't even hear her come back… nor did I see her. When did she…?"

"She came back as soon as you took Sora away."

"Damn… just missed her then." Bea whispered. "So… what of Rawk Hawk?"

"He's in the infirmary. She did a number on him and kinda went overboard."

Bea sweatdropped. "That definitely sounds like her…" She said, rubbing her head before smirking. "I have to say… it's about time he got knocked down a few pegs. I was honestly about to retire from the Glitz Pit so I wouldn't have to listen to his BS for a minute longer."

"I don't blame you…" Cloud said.

"Uh guys? What the heck are you talking about?" Sora asked.

"Okay… soooo… there's a change of plans to the championship." Bea said. "You're not gonna be fighting Rawk Hawk."

"Oh, so did Vivian burn his feathers off?" Sora asked.

"As entertaining as that would be… no." Cloud said. "He got knocked off his pedestal… a little too hard if you ask me. Sprained ankle, pulled muscle on his shoulder… the works."

"Oooof, so are we the champions then?" Sora asked.

"No… but it's someone you know." Cloud said.

Sora grinned. "Alright, so who are we facing?"

Back with the rest of the team…

"You gotta be kidding me." Luigi said.

"Mama mia… that's gonna be a handful." Mario said, rubbing his head.

"Soooo uh… how screwed are we?" Koops asked.

"Judging by these two's faces… a lot." Nocturne said.

"Oh boy…" Vivian whispered and then suddenly, Sora came bursting through the door, panting.

"Guys! It's-"

"-Tifa." Mario responded.

"Oh right… you guys would know." Sora rubbed his head. "Soooo… you guys ready to get your butts kicked?"

"Like we have a choice?" Luigi sweatdropped as Mario hit the button.

"Boy howdy, y'all are up and ready to go! As you might have known, Tifa Lockhart is the new champion of Glitzville. Rawk Hawk is currently in the infirmary. So… as you are a team, my advice is that you go as a group and take her down! Or don't… it's entirely up to you."

"No, we'll all go." Mario said. "That way, we have a shot at taking her down."

"Sounds good! See y'all in the ring!"

"Let's do this." Sora said with all of them nodding as they went into the ring.

"For this match up, we have Team Sky going against the One Punch Woman herself… give it up foooooor… TIFA LOCKHAAAAAAAAAAART!"

"Oh wow!" Tifa smiled as she got on the stage. "I wasn't expecting to fight all of you, especially you, Sora." She said.

"Yeah… we weren't expecting you either." Sora chuckled.

Tifa chuckled before squaring up. "Alright, let's do this!" She said as the others got in their stances.

"Let's get ourselves ready to… BAAAAAAAAAAAATTLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

BGM: Fight On! (Final Fantasy VII Remake)

Champion of the Glitz Pit - The One Punch Woman (Tifa)

Tifa jumped in and punched at Sora, but he rolled out of the way and countered to knock Tifa away as Mario would jump in and then fire punched her, but Tifa would block this and then proceeded to roundhouse kick him to send him away as she then got struck with a lightnig bolt from Luigi, where she shook that off and front flipping, and attempted to knee Luigi in the face, but Vivian popped up from behind and fire punched Tifa in the back to make her trip as Luigi would punch her in the gut right after.

Tifa smirked, grabbing Luigi and flipped him over to Vivian, knocking the two away as Koops Shell Slammed into her, but she jumped out of the way as her fist caught ablaze as she Firaga Punched the ground to create a shockwave, forcing Nocturne and Sora to jump over the shockwave as the latter Airstepped to Tifa and slashed her away. Tifa would respond by her fists crackling with electricity as she clapped her hands and shot off Thundaga Blasts to knock Sora and Nocturne back.

"This lady's crazy!" Koops said, getting into his shell as Mario hammered him to Tifa, where she turned around and got smacked in the head by Koops, but she shook it off as she grabbed the shell and threw him back as she then rushed over to Vivian and attempted to use Somersault, but Vivian dove underground and reappeared behind her, unleashing a fiery uppercut to knock her up in the air but Tifa recovered and threw a Blizzaga at Vivian.

"Uh oh!" Vivian said as she dove underground and reappeared next to Sora who used Strike Raid on her but Tifa caught the Keyblade with her hands and tossed it behind her as she lunged over to Sora and delivering a strong straight punch, but thanks to Bea's training, Sora would instinctively weave his head and responded by slugging Tifa in the gut, hoping that would make her slide… but all it did was make her raise an eyebrow.

"That was a punch?" She asked, causing Sora to sweatdrop as she used Somersault to kick Sora up into the air as she jumped up to punch him down, but Mario would do the same and punched Tifa down while Sora Aerial Recovered and used Thundaga on Tifa, making her wince and then Nocturne threw a few eggs at her to make her stumble as she turned toward Nocturne as she rushed to him, quickly sliding underneath a stream of fire from Vivian and kicked Nocturne away before hitting him with a Dolphin Flurry attack.

"Mmmph!" Nocturne grunted. "Where did those dolphins come from?" He wondered as Koops was knocked near him.

"Alright… got any bright ideas?" Koops asked.

"Uh… okay! I need a blonde wig and some gauntlets that can shoot out bullets! That could turn the tide of battle!"

"…Huh? I don't think such a thing exists!"

"Alright, you got any other ideas?!"

Koops smirked. "I do have one." He said and whispered in his ear.

"Better than my idea!" Nocturne said, swallowing Koops after grabbing him with his tongue as he ran to Tifa who was busy Water Kicking Mario and Luigi, then Nocturne spat out Koops and smacked her in the back of her head.

"Mmph!" Tifa winced as she turned to the Yoshi and Koopa as she Aeroga Punched the ground, sprouting a few tornadoes that managed to suck the both of them in as Sora had an idea and swiftly shot her with a Waterga spell as Luigi immediately knew what he was about to do as he added his Thunder Hand to Sora's Thundaga as they both electrocuted Tifa.

"Nnngh!" Tifa grunted, unaware of Nocturne flutter jumping over her after being flown into the air as he would then dive bomb her with a ground pound, striking Tifa in the head as Mario got into position ater throwing a few fireballs.

"Oh yeah! HEEEYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He yelled, unleashing Mario Finale as she turned to him and threw down a Blizzaga Punch to conjure up an ice shield to block the finale, as Sora took a look at the ice wall and had an idea as he Airstepped toward the ice shield and bouced off of it, immediately going into Flowmotion as he jumped over the wall and came crashing down onto Tifa, the resulting explosion would knock Tifa away as Vivian would use Fiery Jinx on her as well.

"Rrrrgh!" Tifa grunted as she ran straight to Sora and slugged him, but he used a Reversal to sneak past Tifa and used Aerial Slam on her as Luigi got into position and used Knockback Bros on Mario to send him to Tifa, striking her head on as Mario got himself out of the ball and brought out his hammer, causing it to burst into flame and swung it down directly on her head right at the same time as Luigi misfired into her gut, sending her flying over and nearly fell off the stage.

"Koops, hit me!" Nocturne said, immediately popping into an egg shell as Koops got into position and Shell Shot into the egg, where the egg went flying and smacked into Tifa.

"Ooof!" Tifa grunted, falling off the stage and fell on her back in defeat.

End BGM

"KO!" Grubba yelled as everyone cheered. "YOU SEEN IT HERE FIRST! YOU ARE WITNESSING THE NEW CHAMPIONS OF GLITZVILLE! LET'S GIVE 'EM A BIG HAND!" He yelled as the crowd went wild… and then Sora's pager went off.

"Hmm?" Sora wondered as he looked into it.

"Head to the Phantom Thieves' Locker Room - X"

"We gotta go." Sora said to his team as they nodded and took off.

"AND NOW, WE GIVE THEM THE CHAMPION BEL-… wait, where are y'all goin'?!"

In the infirmary…

"Heh, that didn't last long." Rawk Hawk said, as he felt a twinge. "YOWCH! Watch it!"

"Sorry!" The nurse apologized.

At the Phantom Thieves' Locker Room…

Everyone ran in, where they would notice King K and Luminary sitting there, both of them recovering as Joker had stolen a few things from the infirmary, and they also noticed Byleth looking absolutely livid.

"What's going on?" Luigi asked. "Wait, is that King K and Luminary?!"

"We found these two in the storage room." Akira said. "And to make matters worse, we know where the others are at… and needless to say, Byleth being angry is a bit of an understatement."

"Everyone else… they're inside of that machine being used to power Grubba up." Byleth growled.

"What?!" Mario said in surprise.

"It's bad enough that he's doing this, but doing this to MY students?! Of all the nerve…" Byleth clenched her fists.

"Oh my…" Sora said. "That's horrible!"

"Well, on the plus side… we got the Calling Cards all ready to go!" Ryuji said with a grin. "Check 'em out!"

"I… had to go and make it look pretty." Yusuke said as Sora looked it over.

"Alright, cool! …Now what?"

Akira's phone went off as he went to take a look.

"Grubba just left his office. Spread the Calling Cards around Glitzville and the Glitz Pit, and put one in Grubba's office. Team Sky must wait in hiding with the schematic. The Phantom Thieves will strike when Grubba leaves. Bring Byleth with you, if you must. - X"

"Alright… it's time." Akira said. "Let's bring this bastard down and steal his heart!" He declared as everyone nodded. "Let's move!"

"Hmhmhm~" Neptune hummed as she spotted a Calling Card on the front door. "Huh?" She wondered as she decided to read it. "Dear Grubba, we know you are responsible for the disappearance of the fighters-"

BGM: Life Will Change (Persona 5)

"Do not try to hide it, we know you made the likes of King K, the Luminary, Jade and even Prince Mush disappear, and that is not even counting the other bodies you are hiding-" Wendy read as she was reading one near at the snack bar. "WHAT?!"

"It is time this scandal has been put into light and for you to be put in your place-" Cloud read as he had found it outside and was reading it to the other Major Leaguers.

"Oh my!" Vert said.

"We know about the machine in the middle of the arena-" Jolene read as she was just on the right side of the Glitz Pit. "Hmhmhm…" She smirked.

"We are coming for you. Time is ticking. Signed, the Phantom Thieves." Grubba read as he was in his office. "Well, I'll be dipped! This is nothing more than just a publicity stunt."

"That's what you think!" Sora said as they came out of hiding and showed him the schematics.

"YIPE! Where did you…?! …Uh oh…" He paled as he took off running… all the while his Mementos self stood there in the darkness, growling.

"So it's a fight, huh? Bring it on, Phantom Thieves! I'm waitin' for ya!"

In the arena, Grubba went running to the main stage as the team made their way to the stage. "It's over, Grubba!" Sora yelled.

"Hyuck hyuck hyuck… I should've known something was going on the moment y'all disappeared…" Grubba said. "But it's true… I have made everyone disappear… and now that y'all know, it's time I silenced y'all as well!" He exclaimed, pressing a button as the machine came out of the ground.

BGM: Blooming Villain (Persona 5 Strikers)

"It's the Crystal Star!" Vivian exclaimed, noticing the Crystal Star up top as Grubba went inside the machine and started powering up.

"HRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Grubba yelled. "MACHOOOOOOOOOO!"

"NEPWHAAAAAT?! IT'S ACTUALLY REAL?!" A voice yelled as they turned to see the Minor and Major Leaguers having ran inside to check if it was real, and even the Elite Four was there.

"Oh my goodness…" Bea whispered.

"All of you are witnesses… and now I will make you all disappear and make a brand new roster!" Grubba roared as everyone looked at each other, and then hopped into the ring to join Team Sky.

"Come on guys, let's go!" Sora declared.

At Mementos…

"HYUCK HYUCK HYUCK! You miserable Phantom Thieves think you can take ME on, huh?" Grubba exclaimed, already in Macho Grubba form. "It's time I make you wish you were never born!"

"Time to eff you up, pal!" Skull exclaimed as the Phantom Thieves and Byleth got into position.

"TIME TO ROCK YOU INTO SUBMISSION!" Grubba roared.

"Let's go! PERSONA!" Joker yelled.

Grubba pulled back his fist and punched the ground to create a shockwave, making the Phantom Thieves and Byleth to dodge as they ran toward Grubba as Joker quickly and gracefully flipped around and shot him in the head while also using Eiagon.

Grubba raised his fist up, as electricity formed around it and then punched the ground, creating bolts of electricity flying around as it struck Byleth and Queen, but they shook it off as Queen got on Johanna and drove off, unleashing Mafreila on him, then narrowly dodged Grubba stomping on her.

Byleth would go running in and then impaled him with Areadbhar before swinging up to knock Grubba away as Panther did graceful flips and struck Grubba with Maragidyne, causing him to back up from the flames as Morgana unleashed Magarudyne to push the flames into him.

"GRAAAAAH!" Grubba yelled, buffing himself up and then punching Fox, sending him flying but he quickly recovered as he would shoot at him, forcing him to shield his eyes as Panther would heal him up as he went off and slashed at Grubba.

"Alright, giving you guys a strength buff! Here we goooo!" Oracle yelled.

"Perfect." Byleth smirked as Noir jumped in and started shooting Grubba with grenades before hitting him with Psiodyne and Fox hitting him with a Bufula spell.

"Rrrgh! You little…!" Grubba jumped up into the air and then slammed into the ground to create a shockwave, knocking away Skull and Morgana, but Joker had managed to fire his grappling hook over a beam as he grabbed Byleth and swung her over as she flipped over and then a flash of white appeared in her eyes.

"HERE IS SOMETHING TO BELIEVE IN! HAAAAAAAAAAH!" She yelled, swinging Amyr down and hitting him on the head.

"YAAAAGH!" Grubba yelled as he fell on his back.

"Skull! Queen! Noir! On me!" Joker ordered after shooting Grubba.

"Right!" The three of them said and then once they got into position, Joker smirked.

"Ravage them!" He said as they jumped into the air and then proceeded to beat the living crap out of him with an All Out Attack.

"Woo! Here comes the pain!" Oracle cheered and then Joker landed on the ground, pulling his glove back with a smirk before blood shot out of Grubba's neck.

"GYAAAAAAAAGH!" Grubba yelled before shrinking back to normal size, and at the same time, Sora had launched Bea into the air right as Green Heart dropped Heavy down as they both punched Grubba in the head to knock him down, making him fall on his back in defeat.

End BGM

Joker walked over to Grubba, aiming his pistol at his head. "And that's checkmate." He said.

"Uuugh… kill me then…"

"No, that won't happen. We steal hearts, but we are no murderers." He said as he put his gun away. "However, you are going to pay for your crimes."

"I'm… well aware of that…"

"Good." Joker said as he walked back to his team. "Come on, let's go steal that treasure."

"…Surely, he deserves better than being sprawled out on the ground." Byleth said.

"Well, he'll be publicly humiliated, so there's that to look forward to." Skull said.

"Mmm, I suppose you're right." Byleth nodded.

Back in the real world…

"Uuungh… you… you're all too good… uuungh… well fought…" Grubba said, and before anyone could say anything, someone clapped.

"Thank you everyone." A voice said as they saw Jolene approaching them. "Now… there is something that needs to be done."

BGM: Jolene (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)

"Jolene? What are you-" Mario wondered.

"You know those messages that Sora got? I… am X." Jolene said as their eyes widened. "I invited the Phantom Thieves to steal Grubba's heart… I knew there was something sinister behind that smile of his. Our family was poor… and so my brother, Mush… he went to the Glitz Pit to support our family… but one day, he disappeared."

Jolene glanced at Grubba. "I came here, in disguise of this one's secretary, in hopes to search for answers. Once I had all that I needed, I contacted the Phantom Thieves. Although, I had no idea that Team Sky would come and quickly rise through the ranks. At that point… I knew there had to be a team up."

"Ah, so you carefully crafted everything!" Luigi said as Jolene nodded.

"Indeed."

"So uh… I hate to interrupt, but where are these missing fighters?" Lysithea spoke up.

"They're in that machine." Sora said. "Grubba made sure of that."

"WHAT?!" Min Min yelled.

Jolene clenched her fists and grabbed Grubba by the collar. "Answer me this, Grubba… how do you get them out…?"

"I'm… I'm afraid that's not possible… I made sure that the Crystal Star will never bring them back."

Jolene gasped and then growled. "LIAR! You bring me back my little brother this instant!" She yelled… and suddenly, the top of the machine glowed brightly, and then once the lights stopped, everyone who Team Sky had seen were sprawled out on the ground.

"Spring Man! Ribbon Girl!" Min Min exclaimed.

"Jade!" Tifa said.

Ryu and Ken walked over, gently helping up Terry and Blue Mary. "Ugh… what happened?" Mary wondered.

"Ooogh… my achin…" Mush groaned, sitting up behind a KO'd Marth, Caeda, Hinoka and Kamui.

"Mush!" Jolene cried happily and hugged him tightly.

"O-oh! Jolene! Hey, it's good to see ya!"

"Hold still, I need to heal you up." Medic said as he proceeded to heal everyone while Lysithea and Hilda happily hugged a drowsy Claude.

At that moment, the Gold Star floated down gently toward the heroes. "I believe this is for us." Mario said and with a nod, Sora reached over to grab it… but then in a swift motion, it disappeared.

"WHAT THE?!" Sora yelled.

"Thank you for handing me this Crystal Star." A voice said as they saw that it was none other than Thunderbolt.

"Thunderbolt!" Sora growled.

"Now that I have this Crystal Star… I shall take my leave." He said and then ran off.

"Oh no you don't!" Sora exclaimed, instinctively pulling out the Emerald Star and threw it at Thunderbolt, where it suddenly morphed into an Emerald Bomb and landed near Thunderbolt, causing an explosion and freezing Thunderbolt in place.

"Rrrgh!"

"So that's what it does." Sora said as the Glitz Pit Fighters turned to each other before heading over to try and snag the Crystal Star from Thunderbolt, but he would get out of his frozen prison and brought out his sword and tried to fight them off… but suddenly, Thunderbolt would feel pressure on his shoulders and then hands grabbed a hold of his helmet.

"Show me your true form!" Akira said and forcibly removed the mask from him, revealing that it was none other than a young woman who had pink hair.

"Rrrgh!" She grunted, holding on to her face.

"A woman?!" Sora said in surprise and before the woman could try to do anything, Byleth grabbed the Crystal Star with the Sword of the Creator.

"Guys! Catch!" Byleth said, throwing it to them as Mario jumped in and grabbed it, and then Ryuji put her into a choke hold.

"You mind telling us who you are, sweet thing?" Ryuji said.

"Like I should… tell you!" She said, stomping on his foot and then swiftly kicked him in the crotch for good measure.

"AAAAAGH!" Ryuji yelled, holding on to his crotch in agony. "What the… hell was that… for… you… you… fu-" He fell over in agony. "Ooogh!"

"Ryuji!" Ann exclaimed as she was immediately by his side as the young woman turned around and saw everyone ready to knock her down.

"Hmph… I'll see you when it's less crowded, Sora." She said and threw a flashbang down, disappearing when the blinding light disappeared.

"Who was that?" Noire wondered.

"I have no idea… but I have a feeling she's been brainwashed…" Sora said. That pink haired girl… who is she? He wondered as everyone was left either celebrating or wondering where that pink haired girl came from.

And as for Ryuji, Medic would go ahead and give him an ice pack.

So funny enough... I actually don't remember recycling a plot point from Paper RWBY: The Thousand Year Door. I remember the Glitz Pit Arc being themed to Punch-Out but I don't recall Little Mac pummeling Rawk Hawk... actually kinda forgot about that part. Not to mention putting my RWBY series on hiatus for a while to write up that Zelda's Journey story didn't really help matters either.

So when I got a Guest review pointing that out, I was like "...Huh?" and then I looked into it and went "Oh... well, how about that." I thought it was like a brand new plot point I came up with... only to realize I had only done it a few years before. Whoops! XD

But anyway... Glitzville is done! And it didn't take 11 chapters this time compared to the old one! Yay!
