"Last time on Total Drama Fazbear All-Stars, our two teams were once again hoist into a world run by the undead, as they raced to the safe point on the very top of the island's mountain with the goal of making it with the most survivors." Marionette started. "Lefty continued to play mental mind games with Doug by somehow just standing in the distance and not saying anything. After a deep in the woods confrontation with Rebecca, Adrian became even more suspicious of the very obvious secret plan she had hatched with fellow Villains teammate, Roxy. And after almost coming to blows with Goldie after the bear revealed to him some very negative things he told Carly, Carson and the others were in for one of the biggest swerves in the history of Total Drama when the cat showed up completely lacking her shy, nerdy appearance, instead, now clad in black clothes, somehow becoming confident over night." He continued. "But in the end, after an argument broke out within The Villains, it would be Goldie that evidently cost himself and Brent the challenge for their teammates, and Carson and the brand new Carly picking up the scraps and the win for their Hero counterparts, send The Villains to their second Bonfire Ceremony in row, where the dastardly, yellow furred, bear brother, Goldie would finally get sent packing." He finished.
"After last times shocking turn of events, what's next?" Marionette asked. "Find out right now on another exciting edition of..."
"Total..."
"Drama..."
"Fazbear..."
"ALL-STARS!"
(Cues Theme Music)
It was now almost eleven o'clock, and Carson was currently sitting alone in the sand on the beach, just staring out at the lake. He had been doing that almost all morning.
He had been hoping that Carly would show up, but she hadn't yet. The thing he had noticed with her since her "big change" was the fact that she hadn't really made much effort to interact with anyone. Before she may have been shy, but at least she came out of her room and talked to people.
Sure, she had talked to him since then, but not as much as she used to. She didn't really hang around with him anymore. He just... didn't know why that was. Even with this new attitude.
"Hey, you okay?" A female voice asked from behind. It excited him for a minute, but that excitement faded when he quickly realized it wasn't Carly. He took a quick glance back and saw Cheek and Brent walking towards him.
"Yeah... I'm fine." He replied, clearly not fine. Brent and Cheek glanced at each other, well aware that he had something bothering him.
"You don't sound fine, man." Brent said. After, he and Cheek sat down in the sand next to him.
"I hope you don't mind if we join you." Cheek said. Carson shook his head.
"Go ahead." He replied. "Could probably use the company anyway." He admitted as he looked back towards the lake.
After, the trio sat in silence just staring out towards the lake. A small relaxed smile formed on Cheek's face as they did.
"I can see why you and Carly like doing this so much." She finally said. Brent nodded in agreement.
"When you're not thinking about where you are, what you're doing, or how polluted this lake probably is, it's pretty nice." He said. Cheek glanced over at him, slightly annoyed by him ruining the moment, but couldn't argue with him because she knew it was true.
"So... have you talked to Carly any?" Cheek asked, looking from Brent, over towards Carson.
"Not much since the other day. She's been... keeping to herself." Carson replied. Cheek nodded. She had taken notice to that. Like, she hadn't completely been shutting herself out from the others, but she hadn't been spending nearly as much time around them as she used to.
"Hey, I wouldn't worry about it too much. She'll come around." She said, trying to make him feel at least a little bit better.
"I hope." Carson said. "You know though, none of this would have happened if Goldie would have just kept his mouth shut. Carly was perfect the way she was. And because of what he said, he made her feel like she had to change everything about herself for everyone to take her seriously. I took her seriously the way she was. I took her more seriously than I did him. He just... he had NO right!" He exclaimed, obviously getting more frustrated about the situation. Brent and Cheek stared at him in silence as a frustrated scowl took over his face.
(Confessional -Brent)
Brent sat in front of the camera somewhat taken aback by Carson's outburst.
"Man, I understand him being upset about Goldie. That's understandable. But, even though I haven't known him long, I've never seen him do something like that. He seems like he's usually a pretty chill dude. Apparently that's until something happens that negatively involves Carly." Brent said.
(Switch to -Cheek)
Cheek sat in front of the camera slowly shaking her head for several seconds. Once she stopped, she looked into the camera.
"I think Carson has a right to be as upset as he is. Carly completely doing a one-eighty to herself was definitely unexpected. But knowing most of it was Goldie's fault— if I was Carson, I would feel the same way." She said.
(Confessional End)
After Carson's rant about Goldie, the trio sat in silence for several minutes. Neither Brent, nor Cheek really knew what to say. They were trying to come up with something to say, but the awkward silence was making that hard.
But as they tried to think of something to say to him, they were eventually joined by someone else.
"Hey." The voice spoke as the owner approached them. Carson immediately shot around, knowing full well who it was.
"Carly." He said as he quickly climbed to his feet. "I-I... are you... okay?" He said curiously. Carly nodded. She was kind of confused as to why he was asking her that. Why wouldn't she be?
"I'm fine. I just slept in." She replied, shrugging as she did.
Brent and Cheek looked at each other once again, deciding they should probably make their exit and leave these two alone. They stood up before looking their direction.
"Hey, we're going to finish our walk. We'll see the two of you later." Brent spoke up. Cheek nodded, before the two of them headed back towards camp leaving Carson and Carly alone.
Carly stared at him as he looked around in a somewhat nervous silence. He wasn't really sure what to say. He knew there was things he wanted to, but just figured he probably shouldn't.
"Are YOU alright?" Carly finally asked him. Now she could clearly tell something was up with him. Carson stood unmoving for several seconds, before finally giving her a quick nod.
"Uh... Yeah, yeah. I'm... fine." He replied, before once again taking a seat in the sand. As he did, he looked back towards the cat. "You can sit... if you want to." He continued. She stared at him in silence for several seconds, before finally nodding. After that, she took a seat next to him.
The silence continued as the two competitors now sat in the sand staring out at the lake in front of them. After continuing that for several minutes, Carly finally glanced over at him when she realized he wasn't going to say anything.
"Carson, what's wrong?" She asked. Carson continued to stare ahead for several seconds, before looking down at the sand in front of him.
"It's nothing... really." He replied, trying to sound as sincere about it as he possibly could. Regardless, Carly didn't believe him. She knew something was up, but he clearly wasn't going to tell her. She was getting ready to speak again, but stopped herself. She couldn't MAKE him tell her what was bothering him, but she did feel like he would eventually come around and tell her himself, so she wasn't going to push him any further.
She gave him a small nod, staring at him for several more seconds as he continued to look down at the sand before she finally looked back up towards the lake. After, the pairs silence picked back up as they continued to sit there.
(Confessional -Carly)
Carly sat in front of the camera with a pretty stoic expression on her face. She was staring off to the side of it just like she used to.
"I know something's bothering Carson. With the way he's acting and... hardly even looking at me anymore. I can't make him tell me. But I know eventually he will on his own. I'll just have to be patient." Carly said, looking at the camera as she did.
(Switch to -Carson)
Carson sat in front of the camera staring down at the floor. He looked pretty bummed out.
"Yeah, Yeah. I have stuff I want to say, but I just... don't think I should. I mean, if Carly's happy with her change, then that's great. But... I don't think she should have completely changed herself just based off of the stupid stuff someone else had to say." He started, before shaking his head. It became very obvious, very quickly that he was beginning to grow annoyed again. "I'm glad Goldie is gone though. He deserved. It probably won't, but maybe that'll teach him not to be such an *Bleep*hole all the time and run his big *Bleep* mouth to people when he should really be keeping the mother*Bleep* *Bleep* thing shut!" He snapped, deep breaths escaping him as he finished.
(Confessional End)
(With Lefty)
Lefty was currently slowly wandering around camp. He didn't have a set destination in mind, he was just walking— observing.
He began thinking. Thinking about a certain competitor. A certain competitor that ruined his plans for Rachel. A certain competitor that he had been purposely playing mind games with for a couple of weeks now. Doug.
Finding out that the mute dog was as easy to get in the head of as he was wasn't exactly what he was going for, but he wickedly enjoyed knowing it.
The dog had ruined what he wanted to do to Rachel by her getting sent home over him, so the dog was his target. The target that he already knew he could get rid of. And that's exactly what he planned on doing.
He continued his aimless wandering up until he finally heard talking in the distance. A small crooked smile formed on his face as he followed the voice. He only came to a stop when he saw the white and pink fur of Roxy just beyond the bush he was hiding behind. She was with someone, but he couldn't tell who it was.
"You better not tell a sole about this." She said. A huff was heard in response.
"Don't worry, Princess, I wouldn't dare." A male voice responded in a somewhat sarcastic tone. Lefty already knew who that male voice belonged to.
She shook her head before grabbing the male's paw. "You're such an idiot. Now let's go before someone sees us. That's the last thing I want right now." She said as the two disappeared further down the
trail.
After they were gone, Lefty began to let out low, sinister laugh. He quite enjoyed what he had just seen.
(Confessional -Lefty)
Lefty sat in front of the camera laughing his usual creepy, unsettling laugh.
"Secrets. Secrets. Secrets. They all come out eventually." He said, before going right back into his laughing.
(Confessional End)
(With Doug)
Doug was currently sitting at the dining room table inside the Hotel & Spa. He had a plate of food in front of him that he had hardly touched. He just... hadn't been feeling too hungry lately.
He had been trying to do what Freddy had told him: keep his mind off of Lefty. He knew Freddy was right when he told him Lefty getting into his head was exactly what the bear wanted. That made sense. He just didn't understand why he was targeting him out of everyone else there. From what the dog could remember, he hadn't done anything to him. So what was the idea behind all of this?
As Doug sat there pondering with his thoughts, Katy walked in and sat down in the chair across from him. She looked defeated. She seriously must have been pretty upset over this whole "Randy" thing.
After sitting there for several seconds staring down at the table, Katy looked up towards the dog, taking notice of the questioning look on his face.
"I'm... fine." She replied very halfheartedly. Clearly she wasn't. Doug shook his head at her response, letting her know he wasn't buying it. She stared at him in silence for several seconds before finally deciding to say anything.
"Doug..." She said with a sigh, before stopping. As she stopped, that's when Freddy walked into the room.
"Good morning Katy, Doug." The bear greeted, before taking a seat at the table, joining his peers. "So, how are the two of you doing this morning?" He asked. He really didn't need to though, being able to see right away that the two of them still had a lot going on.
"Fine..." Katy replied to him just like she did to Doug earlier. Doug just responded with a little shrug.
Getting the two of them through their problems was going to be tough, but Freddy wasn't going to give up. He couldn't. He HAD to help them.
"Alright, now, Katy, have you talked to Randy at all? I still think that's the best thing you can do right now." Freddy spoke up, looking towards the kangaroo as he did. She glanced up at him but didn't say anything. That was enough to tell the bear that she hadn't talked to him. "You know things aren't going to get any better if you keep letting this Rebecca situation beat you up, right? That's why you need to hear Randy's side of the story right from his own mouth." He said. Katy continued to sit in silence as he finished. Yeah, she knew he was right. She had known that much the entire time. But she just... hadn't been able to talk to Randy.
Sure they were on the same team at this point, but still. Every time she felt like she had built the courage to confront him about all of this, she would either get interrupted by someone, or something else, or she would just... decide against it. And seeing how much time he had been spending with Rebecca didn't help much, either. That by far made things worse.
"I know I need to talk to him. I've been trying." She finally said, shaking her head as she did, before dropping it down onto the table. The bear gave her a comforting pat on the back, before looking across the table towards Doug, who seemed pretty symptomatic of the kangaroo's current situation.
(Confessional -Katy)
Katy sat in front of the camera with a frown on her face. She had just had so much going through her mind lately that it was really getting to her now.
"Yeah, I know what people are thinking ''Why are you letting this bother you so much? If you want to stop it, you need to do something about it.'' I get it. I know i do. And I really wish people would stop telling me the same things over and over again. I'm trying to talk to him. I'm trying to get this all figured out. I'm trying to make sure Rebecca doesn't ruin his life again like she's already done once." Katy started, before stopping as she looked down towards the floor. "I'm going to talk to Randy and figure this out. I am." She continued.
(Confessional End)
The silence around the table remained for several seconds afterwards, before Katy finally looked up again.
"I'm going to talk to Randy, and I'm going to do it tonight." She announced. This surprised, and relieved both Freddy and Doug.
"Good. I'm proud of you." Freddy said, once again giving her a pat on the back.
"But I think we should try and talk The Villains into voting Rebecca off." Katy said. Again, this surprised Freddy.
"Wait, what?" The bear said curiously.
"Look, I know that's not how you like doing things. But her being here isn't doing anyone any good. The only thing she's done the entire time so far, besides trying to ruin Randy's life again, is try to get rid of me. And I WONT let either one of those things happen." Katy said.
"Katy, I don't know. I get over the now four seasons we've been on this show, we've dealt with stuff like this plenty of times, but purposely targeting someone to try and take them out isn't something I can really side with." Freddy said. "I know you've had your issues with her for awhile now, but she's never done anything to any of us." He continued.
"Yet. She hasn't done anything yet. But, metaphorically speaking, if she does somehow manage to get me eliminated, which she won't, she won't hesitate but to turn on either one of you just as quick as she thinks that you're in her way. In some cases, she's worse than Roxy was." Katy said.
"See, I don't know about that. Roxy stabbed everyone in the back, manipulated almost every single one of us, and somehow managed to eliminate almost half of the original season's roster by herself. Don't get me wrong, yes, what Rebecca has done to you, and what she's done to Randy, it's wrong. I'm not defending that and I never will. But I think there's a better way to go about doing this. There HAS to be." Freddy said. As he and Katy argued back and forth, Doug just sat in silence, watching. Of course he didn't LIKE them arguing the way they were. And there were aspects of both of their arguments that he agreed with. But he just hoped this didn't cause friction in his team, because they had been working pretty well so far.
(Confessional -Doug)
Doug sat in front of the camera with a somewhat blank expression on his face. Watching Freddy and Katy argue about the whole "Rebecca" thing left him wondering: could Rebecca and Lefty be working together to individually target and eliminate all of The Heros?
He knew it was a kinda far fetched scenario because he hadn't even seen them interact since they had been here. But still.
Lefty didn't even try to hide his negative intentions, and from what Katy has said, Rebecca didn't either. Heck, for all he knew, all of The Villains could be in cahoots trying to take them out. They act like they don't get along while they're in front of other people, but behind the scenes they're scheming their next move.
After that thought, he looked back into the camera and shrugged. Either that or he could just be blowing things way out of proportion.
(Confessional End)
(With Rebecca)
Rebecca was currently walking through camp trying to find Roxy. She needed to find out what her plan was to get rid of Katy. Besides that, she also wanted to give her the fake Invincibility Statuette as an incentive to get a move on with getting the kangaroo out of here.
After not finding her, she headed towards the trail figuring maybe she was out there somewhere. As she began walking down it, she saw Randy walking in the opposite direction back towards camp. She instantly lit up as she did.
"Randy!" She said happily, getting a somehow annoyed groan to escape the male raccoon's mouth. "How are you this morning?" She asked as she quickly approached him.
"Tired." Randy replied, trying to continue walking as he did. Rebecca, however, wasn't going to let him get away from her that easily. She blocked his path, forcing him to stop and talk to her. "Will you move? I want to try and relax before Stringbean calls us for the challenge." He continued.
"Will you talk to me first? We haven't been spending too much time together the past couple of days. I want it to go back to the way it was when we first got here." Rebecca said. Randy stood there in silence staring at her. It was already clear to him that she wasn't going to let him past her until he told her what she wanted to hear.
"Look, I'll make a deal with you. You let me through so I can go back to the Hotel and relax, and I'll... hang out with you AFTER today's challenge. Deal?" He said curiously, trying to bargain with her. Rebecca stood thinking about his offer for several seconds, before offering him a warm smile.
"Deal." She replied before stepping out of his way. Once she did, Randy began walking again, rolling his eyes once he did. Rebecca stood in silence watching him with a small smile on her face, only turning around when she heard someone approaching her from behind.
Roxy quickly stopped in her tracks, looking pretty surprised at seeing Rebecca standing there.
"Roxy, I've been looking for you all morning." Rebecca said, her smile fading as she did. Roxy didn't look too bothered by this.
"So? For what?" The vixen said curiously. Her ''Do not care'' attitude was really starting to annoy the female raccoon.
"To talk to you about what we discussed before. The deal we made." Rebecca replied, trying not to sound too annoyed with her. Roxy stood there thinking about it for several seconds, acting as if the deal they had made wasn't coming to mind at first. It took several more seconds before she acted like she finally remembered.
"Oh, that deal. How could I have forgotten?" She said in a curious, yet uninterested tone, as she crossed her arms. Again, the only thing this did was further annoy the female raccoon.
"Fine, Roxy. If you want to be that way, then be that way. But if that's the case, I'm just going to keep this then." Rebecca said, pulling out her fake Invincibility Statuette as she did. Roxy's eyes slightly widened at this.
"Wait, you actually found it?!" The vixen questioned her, still not taking her eyes off of the Statuette. Rebecca nodded.
"Yep. I told you I would." She replied. Roxy was actually buying it. That made her smile.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Hand it here." Roxy said, reaching for the fake Statuette.
"Uh, uh, uh. Not so fast. We made a deal. You want this, you'll have to live up to your end of it, too." Rebecca said, pulling the Statuette away from the vixen. This only annoyed her... and bad.
"If you want me to take care of the kangaroo, you'll give me the Statuette RIGHT NOW." She demanded. She wasn't going to play games with the raccoon. No way. Rebecca frowned at this.
"How do I know you won't screw me over like you've done everyone else?" She questioned. Sure, she knew what she was doing, but still. She just wanted to make sure Roxy lived up to her word about getting rid of Katy.
"Because, if I wanted to screw you over I would have done it already," Roxy replied, honestly. "YOU aren't a threat to me. You never have been. That's why I'm not worried about you. Katy, yeah, she could be a problem for me further down the road. Now, if you want me to make sure she gets gotten rid of, you'll hand over the Statuette like you agreed you would do." As she finished, she stuck her paw out expectingly. She stood staring at the raccoon, waiting for her to give her the Statuette. Rebecca didn't look at all amused with the way Roxy was talking to her. She stared down at the fake Statuette, before looking back up towards the vixen.
Eventually she did extend the statuette out towards the vixen. A sinister grin made its way onto her face as she practically snatched it out of the raccoons paws.
"Smart choice." She said, not taking her eyes off of the statuette.
"You better not forget our deal." Rebecca said, clearly worried that the vixen was going to try and burn her. Roxy only seemed to wave her off.
"Yeah, Yeah. I won't." She said. Rebecca didn't seem to fully trust her though.
(Confessional -Rebecca)
Rebecca sat in front of the camera with a somewhat worried expression on her face. It didn't last long before it curved into a frown.
"The statuette may not be real, but as far as Roxy is concerned, I held up my end of our deal, so she BETTER hold up hers." The somewhat demanding tone of her voice would have surprised anyone. She didn't really trust Roxy, but she knew that if she wanted Katy gone she was going to need her help. That's the only reason she went to her for help. "She better hold up her end of the deal..." she crossed her arms as she continued.
(Switch to -Roxy)
Roxy sat in front of the camera, a menacing smirk on her face as she stared down at the statuette.
"This thing is really stupid looking, but it's going to make sure I stay in the game. But the best part is, I didn't even have to look for it!" Roxy exclaimed. "Rebecca did all of the work for me, and just gave it up because I told her I would help her get rid of the kangaroo! Ha!" She continued, finally looking up at the camera. "I honestly don't care about what happens to either one of them, I just wanted this. And I got it." She finished happily.
(Confessional End)
As Rebecca continued to stand there watching Roxy admire the "statuette", they were joined by... a guest.
"Good morning, ladies. How are—" Adrian started as he approached the two females, before quickly taking notice of the statuette. "Oh, what do you have there?" He asked, now staring at the item in Roxy's paws. She flashed him an annoyed glance.
"None of your business, wolfy." She replied. Adrian shook his head.
"The statuette. Where... did you find that?" There wasn't anger in his voice though, it sounded like genuine curiosity.
"Again, none of your business." Roxy scoffed. That's when Adrian's curious expression curved back into his usual smirk.
"I see. Well, I suppose congratulations on... Uh, finding it." He said. That's when Roxy's sour expression curved into a smirk of its own.
"This right here is proof that I'm better than you." She said. This made Adrian raise an eyebrow.
"Hmmm? How so?" He questioned.
"Because I found this before YOU could. Now I have Invincibility for an elimination ceremony, and YOU don't. This right here, it just sealed your fate." Roxy replied. Again, Adrian's smirk returned, as he let out a light chuckle. Roxy was confused as to what he thought was funny.
"Well, I suppose if that does happen, you will have indeed proved you are better than me. But... good luck trying to get there. I truly wish you the best." He said, leaving Roxy standing there somewhat taken aback. Her scowl quickly returned as he shifted his attention towards Rebecca, who had remained quiet for the duration of the conversation so far. "I hope you are having a lovely day so far, Rebecca." He said. She didn't respond.
(Air Horn Blows)
"All competitors meet me in the middle of camp for today's challenge!" Marionette's voice rang out over the intercom. After his announcement ended, Adrian looked back towards the two females.
"Well, I suppose it's time to get back to camp so we can get today's challenge underway. You ladies may want to hurry, wouldn't want to see you end up in the bottom two." He said, staring right at Roxy as he finished. He offered her a signature wink, before turning and heading back towards camp, leaving the two females standing there.
Roxy was scathing. She let out a low growl as she stood there watching him walk away. Rebecca glanced over at her, not saying a word as she did.
(Confessional -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera with a smirk on his face.
"I will indeed give Roxy credit. She thinks she has all of this planned out. But my exit will not happen the way she thinks it will." Adrian started, before letting out a chuckle. "But I give her an A for effort. I really do." He continued. "So... congratulations on the... statuette. Hope you enjoy it." He finished, his smirk never leaving his face.
(Confessional End)
Most of the competitors had now arrived to the middle of camp. The only ones missing at this point were Roxy and Rebecca, who hadn't been too far behind Adrian. The wolf stood there somewhat confused as to where they were.
Luckily for the competitors though, the two females did end up beating Marionette to the meetup spot. So at least they weren't going to have to listen to another one of his long, drawn out tirades.
"Roxy, Rebecca, how nice of the two of you to finally show up." Adrian spoke up. Rebecca glanced in his direction, but Roxy ignored him.
"Hey, is that the Invincibility statuette?" Freddy asked, taking notice of the item in Roxy's paws.
"*Bleep*!" Randy quietly exclaimed, thinking that his chances to find the statuette were now gone. Roxy frowned at the bear, before walking off, not saying a word as she did. This confused the rest of the competitors.
"Hey! Roxy! Where are you going?" Brent called out towards the vixen, but he was ignored.
"Goooood morning, competit- wait, someone's missing." Marionette started as he and Jackson finally appeared.
"Crap." Freddy mumbled, before letting out a deep sigh, knowing what was coming next.
"And even though I have said it COUNTLESS times, you all STILL don't seem to understand what being here on time means." Marionette said, everyone groaned loudly, clearly not wanting to hear this right now.
"Do you really have to complain about this EVERY time someone isn't here on time?" Randy asked.
"Yes! Yes I do." Marionette replied.
"Amigo, amigo. I think we should give Roxy a few more moments. I don't think she'll be long." Adrian spoke up, trying to not only ease the tense situation, but to mainly shut Marionette up.
"Look at that, loverboy standing up for his girlfriend." Randy said, rolling his eyes as he did. His comment got Adrian to look at him.
"She isn't my girlfriend-" he started to respond, before being cut off.
"-even though you wish she was." Randy said, causing Adrian to frown.
"Randy, I don't think YOU of all people should be commenting on someone else's relationship and/or feelings. Seems a little... off for someone in YOUR situation." He said, his smile returning to his face. He knew Randy didn't have a response when he started grumbling curse words out of frustration.
Eventually, Roxy walked back up, getting everyone's attention.
"Nice of you to finally join us." Marionette said in an unamused tone, this caused Roxy to glare at him.
"Shut up and explain your stupid challenge already." She said, clearly still annoyed by Adrian. Marionette seemed insulted by this.
"Rude." He said, but quickly continued when he saw the look that the vixen was giving him. "Anyway, moving on, for today's challenge we must travel back to season three when our competitors skied on the slippery slopes of Greenland!" He exclaimed. Adrian smirked.
(Confessional -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera, remembering that skiing challenge fondly.
"Ahh, I remember that challenge as if it was just yesterday." Adrian started. "Single handedly taking both Roxy and Foxy out of that challenge was great!" He continued. "Winning the challenge was nice too." He finished, seemingly more proud of his casualties of the challenge than actually winning it.
(Switch to -Roxy)
Roxy sat in front of the camera with his arms crossed and a scowl on her face. She remembered that challenge just as vividly as Adrian did, and she HATED IT.
"Even though Adrian and I are on the same team, that doesn't mean... accidents don't sometimes happen. Maybe he... won't make it to the finish line." Roxy said, shrugging as she did.
(Confessional End)
"So! As for today's challenge-" Marionette started, before being interrupted.
"-hold up, let me guess, since it's eighty-five degrees out and there is absolutely ZERO snow here, you're going to make us ski on dry land, right? Am I right?" Randy interrupted, theorizing what the challenge is going to be like before Marionette even gets to explain it. The host frowned, not taking too kindly to being interrupted.
"Yes Randy, that is EXACTLY how this challenge is going to go." He replied, clearly unamused.
"Nailed it." Randy said, as a small smirk formed on his face. Marionette made it too predictable.
"HOWEVER!" Marionette exclaimed, a smirk of his own growing on his face. Everyone instantly took that as a bad sign.
"Nice going, look what you did!" Roxy exclaimed, motioning towards the host. Randy threw his own arms out at this point, looking towards the vixen as he did.
"Besides having to ski down the from the top of the cliff up there and trying to get at least three of your team members across the finish line, in the same vain as the original challenge, you will also be tasked with trying to avoid the obstacles... or boobytraps reminiscent to the ones used in the challenge back in the first season, in your way trying to prevent you from reaching the finish line." Marionette explained, before frowning when he saw the way Jackson was looking at him. "And don't worry... the explosions and bear traps I originally planned on using have been removed due to... *clears throat* safety concerns." He continued. Jackson responded with a silent nod, seemingly pretty happy with Marionette's explanation.
"Bear... traps?" Freddy said, seemingly both surprised and worried. Doug looked over at him, before patting him on the shoulder. Lefty just let out a somewhat low, but still menacing chuckle at this.
"Alright, now, lets get to the top of the cliff so we can get this challenge started!" Marionette exclaimed.
(At the top of the cliff)
Once all the competitors had reached the cliff, Marionette supplied them with their skis and poles, he got them all to the starting point.
"So, just like before, first team to reach the finish line back at camp, while avoiding the obstacles, with at least three team members wins." He explained one more time.
As they were getting ready to start the challenge, Roxy glanced over at Adrian, who's smirk had remained. He glanced in the vixen's direction, offering her a wink as he did. Her glare hardened in response as she looked away from him.
"So... is no one going to question just how ridiculous this whole thing is?" Rebecca asked, looking around towards the others.
"It's not worth questioning. You just get used to it the longer you're here." Brent replied to her. She looked at him, not saying anything, before turning her focus back to in front of her.
"Alright competitors, lets get the fun started!" Marionette exclaimed as he and Jackson moved off to the side. He stared at them for a few more seconds, a grin on his face, before finally blowing his whistle, signaling the start of the challenge.
Once Marionette blew the whistle, the competitors took off, racing towards the bottom of the mountain, back towards camp.
(Confessional -Brent)
Brent sat in front of the camera, silent for several seconds, before finally shrugging.
"I mean skiing has never been my strong suit, and dry land skiing I didn't know was a thing, but I didn't get to compete in the original challenge, so maybe it'll be...fun." He said, letting out a somewhat forced chuckle as he did. "I mean as long as I don't die I'll take it as a win..." he continued.
(Confessional End)
Roxy was currently in the lead with Adrian not too far behind her. The rest of the competitors were following behind them, so they were all pretty even at this point at least.
Carson seem to be struggling a little bit, not too familiar with skiing. He glanced over to his left and saw Carly doing a lot better than he was.
"Have you done this before?" He called over to her, curious if she had been skiing before.
"Only once when I was little. But not on grass and dirt like this." She replied. She had noticed that it clearly seemed a lot more difficult to steer on dry land than it was in the snow... which is what skiing was meant for.
As he remained staring in her direction For several more seconds dog blasted by on his right finally getting him to turn his attention away from her. The mute dog definitely seemed determined to win the challenge.
(Confessional -Carson)
Carson sat in front of the camera, a somewhat blank expression on his face.
"As I thought everyone is doing a lot better than me." He started. "I'm actually really glad that Carly seems to know what she's doing. Doug too! He definitely seems determined to win." He continued.
(Confessional End)
Roxy and Adrian or so currently leading the pack as they sped back towards camp. Trying to maneuver around on skis on grass and gravel seemed to be taking a toll on everybody. There had already been plenty of wrecks in just the couple of minutes that the race had been going on.
Rebecca seemed to really be struggling with it, being barely able to control it.
Randy sped past, looking at her as he did. "Hey, watch out for that branch." He called towards her.
"Huh?" She said curiously, looking ahead as she did. She let out a surprised shriek as she quickly ducked, nearly missing a long tree branch that was sticking out towards where their track was. Her heart was beating a hundred miles from that alone. It didn't help that before she could fully regain her composure, she ramped up a large, slopes rock, flying through the air.
She screamed as she flew, somehow managing to pass every other competitor, landing right in front of Adrian and Roxy, who seemed to be caught off guard by her sudden appearance.
Rebecca's eyes were as wide as saucers as she skied along the trail, still shocked by what had just happened.
(Confessional -Rebecca)
Rebecca sat in front of the camera, her eyes still wide because of what had happened.
"I-I... I don't think I've ever been that scared in my entire life." She started, before shaking her head. "I'm... honestly surprised that it didn't kill me." She continued.
(Confessional End)
Although they were in opposite teams, Brent and Cheek had tried to remain somewhat close to each other.
"So you had to do this before, aye?" Brent called over to his girlfriend. She momentarily glanced at him, before quickly refocusing as she hit a startling bump.
"Skiing? Yes. Without snow? N-no." She replied.
The two started sliding away from each other just as Lefty sped right between them, almost taking both of them out in the process. They both seemed very annoyed by this.
"Hey!" Cheek exclaimed. Lefty let out another dark chuckle in response.
"Sorry..." he offered them an apology that clearly wasn't sincere. The couple just tried to shake it off as they refocused. The last thing they needed to do was get distracted.
Meanwhile, Rebecca continued to lead the pact, while Adrian and Roxy did their best to try and get past her. The three competitors were so focused on other things, they hadn't noticed the trip wire just ahead of them.
Rebecca sped through the trip wire, not even noticing until she felt it being yanked by her feet. As the wire was set, a large cage dropped from seemingly out of nowhere, surprising everyone that was behind her. Most of them managed to quickly swerve to avoid it, but Carson wasn't so lucky. The cage dropped down onto him, causing him to crash hard into the bars, collapsing to the ground after wards. Carly looked back in surprised, which quickly turned to worry.
"Carson!" She called back towards him, not being able to stop her skiing.
Everyone else seemed to be just as surprised. But what caught them off guard even more was when the darts started flying out of the woods at them. Everyone started scrambling around not only trying to avoid them, but also trying to avoid getting hit.
Randy, unfortunately, wasn't one of the lucky ones. He got hit in the shoulder with a dart, causing him to let out a pained yell. If also distracted him just enough to send him skiing right into a rope trap that had been set up. The rope quickly tightened around his ankle, yanking him off of his feet and leaving him dangling upside down from a tree with a dart in his shoulder.
"Well *Bleep*." He said, clearly unamused with the current, and also very familiar predicament he was in.
(Confessional -Randy)
Randy sat in front of the camera with an annoyed look on his face, and his arms crossed. His shoulder now having been bandaged up.
"That was a load of bull. But I don't know which one was worse, getting shot with a dart, or being left hanging upside from a tree AGAIN for almost twenty minutes." He said.
(Confessional End)
After managing to avoid the cage, darts, and the rope trap, the remaining competitors continued on. They were now about halfway down the mountain on their way back towards camp.
The next obstacle came in the form of a large hole in the ground that he been covered her with a tarp and a pile of dirt and leaves.
Without even realizing she was even in danger of being taken out of the challenge, Rebecca had inadvertently moved over just to the right of the trap as she once again tried to regain her balance so she didn't fall.
This left Roxy and Adrian, who were still just about neck and neck in the challenge, ramming into each other, trying to take each other out.
Roxy would deliver another hard bump into Adrian, knocking him just to the left of the trap. She smirked in his direction. Her smirk didn't last long before she rode over the tarp, almost immediately disappearing as she did. She crashed hard into the hole, being wrapped up in the tarp and covered with the dirt and leaves.
Adrian seemed surprised at first, but began to laugh almost immediately afterwords, listening to Roxy screech in anger as he continued on his way.
(Confessional -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera with a frown on his face, that almost instantly began to curve into a grin.
"Alright, now I will admit, I was not expecting that. But, I will take it." He started. "So once again being at fault for Roxy not winning a skiing challenge is a bit hilarious." He continued, letting out a chuckle as he did.
(Confessional End)
The remaining competitors had done their best to quickly try to avoid the large hole, however, as Brent swerved to the right, and Cheek the left, to try and go around it, Lefty, who had also gone towards the left, "accidentally" bumped into Cheek, causing her to loose her balancing, sending her into the hole with the vixen.
"Oops." Lefty said, as he glanced down. Brent, who had seen everything, went wide eyed, before he narrowed his eyes at Bear, now clearly angry with him.
Cheek sat up in the hole, trying to shake off the dizziness as she rested a hand on her head. She looked around, taking notice of the very angry Roxy, who was sitting there covered in dirt and leaves, a scowl having taken over her face.
Freddy was the last one to manage to avoid the hole, with Katy, who was just in front of him.
He had also taken notice of what Lefty had done, and wasn't too happy about it. Something else he noticed was that Doug, who wasn't too far ahead of them, seemed to be getting shaken up again by the black furred bear.
Rebecca had glanced back, having heard Roxy's screams. She noticed that the vixen was now gone, but Adrian was still on her tail. She turned back around, her eyes once again growing wide when she noticed the next obstacle. The path had been blocked by more large, slanted rocks.
The female raccoon let out another surprised scream as she sped up one of the rocks and once again flew through the air. She landed, only to speed up another rock, sending back up into the air. Her screams continued as she tried to regain her balance.
As the rest of the competitors reached the rocks, they were just trying their best not to wreck.
Surprisingly enough, Everyone did manage to make it over the rocks, but their problems didn't stop there, it only seemed to get worse after that.
As they neared camp, about thirty bowling balls were released from behind them, rolling at an incredible speed down the trail. No one seemed to notice until one sped past Freddy, clipping the still distracted Doug on the back of his heel, sending him swerving off the path and crashing hard into a tree. Freddy flinched as the dog slid down the tree.
Lefty, who had taken notice to Doug's wipeout, let out a low, sinister chuckle in response.
(Confessional -Doug)
Doug sat in front of the camera with a somewhat worried expression on his face as he held an ice pack to his head.
Yeah, sure, crash into a tree after having his heel clipped by a speeding bowling ball hurt, but even through the pain, he was still really concerned about Lefty.
That bear's actions really didn't sit well with Doug. And considering he knew he was the bear's prime target, it really nerved him up. He knew Freddy was trying to help him through his building fear, but still.
(Confessional End)
The bowling balls sped through the competitors, threatening to take more casualties than they already had. But despite that, everyone was still doing their best to avoid them and keep their balance.
At this point, besides Rebecca and Adrian, Brent, Lefty, Carly, Freddy, and Katy were the only ones left in the challenge.
As Rebecca continued, she reached their next "boobytrap". She didn't know where it was coming from, but some misty liquid began spraying out of the bushes towards her. She didn't make anything of it at first, but it quickly started burning.
"I-is this... pepper spray?!" Rebecca exclaimed as she began swerving once again. The burning was quickly becoming harsh.
Adrian, who had seen Rebecca get sprayed, managed to cover his face as he passed through, so that way, he could at least avoid getting it in his eyes. He managed to get through the pepper spray, for the most part, unscathed. Rebecca however, was still struggling.
"Rebecca, friend, you need to stay strong, we need you to win this." Adrian called, finally able to pass the raccoon as he did. Rebecca was too busy trying to avoid the burning feeling on her face to respond.
Again, for the most part, everyone was able to get through the pepper spray... at least as best as they could. Sure, it didn't feel good... at all, but they all tried to ignore it. Besides Lefty, he just laughed about it.
The competitors had now finally reached the base of the mountain and were now headed back towards camp. Adrian's grin returned to his face as he saw the finish line in the distance.
"Ahh, I can smell victory already." He said with a smile. His smile quickly faded when he raised an eyebrow. Not too far in the distance, he saw a net on the ground. It was clearly a trap. "Rebecca, watch up ahead. There's a net." He called over towards his partner. He knew as funny as it would have been to see her caught in a net, he knew he needed her to win, so warning her was his best option here.
Rebecca looked in his direction, her face red and eyes wet due to the burning of the pepper spray, she nodded before looking ahead again. Adrian forced a smile on his face, before wincing once she looked away.
Those two Villains swerved, but Brent and Lefty didn't get the memo. For the moment, Brent had tried to push what Lefty did to Cheek to the back of his mind so he didn't cost his team the challenge, Lefty on the hand didn't seem like he cared too much.
Sure, he was focused, but at the same time, he wasn't. He glanced over at Brent, who hadn't seemed to have noticed at first, but once he started feeling like there was a pair of eyes glued to him, he looked over towards the bear.
"What!" He asked angrily, Lefty just began to chuckle in response. This confused Brent. The two remained staring at each other, not taking notice of the large net on the ground. As they rode over it, the net close up yanking them off of their feet, and cramming them together as they now hung trapped in a tree.
Lefty continued to chuckle as Brent began to try and struggle to get free.
Freddy, Katy, and Carly all glanced up at the now trapped pair as they flew past. "Don't worry, we'll come back for you!" Freddy called up to Brent, who was clearly uncomfortable in his current situation.
Adrian finally reached the finish line, flying past it before sliding to a stop. Rebecca wasn't too far behind him. A huge smile was present on his face until he realized... Brent and Lefty weren't behind them anymore. His confusion quickly faded, his eyes growing wide as Carly, followed by Freddy, followed by Katy one by one crossed the finish line. His jaw nearly dropped to the ground in shock.
Marionette walked up clapping with a huge grin on his face, Jackson not too far behind him.
"What a race that was!" He exclaimed. "And with three surviving members to two, it looks like The Heroes have won today's challenge!" He continued. The three Heroes let out relived breathes, as Marionette turned his attention towards the two Villains. "Villains, I will see you at the Bonfire Ceremony." He finished. Adrian stood there in shock. He honestly just couldn't believe it.
(Confessional -Roxy)
The still dirt and leave covered Roxy sat with her arms crossed, her scowl having remained on her face.
"They has one job... just ONE and they blew it." She started, before shaking her head. "It's bad enough that Adrian cost me ANOTHER skiing challenge. But the fact that they couldn't even win... that's ridiculous!" She continued.
(Switch to -Brent)
Brent sat just as unamused about his team's loss as the rest of them were.
"I could have easily avoided that trap if it wasn't for Lefty." He started. "Like, seriously, we were on the same team, and he STILL chose to make sure he took me out. And that was AFTER he purposely wiped out Cheek." He continued, shaking his head as he did. "I just really don't understand that dude." He finished.
(Switch to -Lefty)
Lefty sat in front of the camera slowly rocking back and fourth, his usually creepy grin plastered on his face.
"And they all... fall... down." He said, before he began chuckling.
(Switch to -Rebecca)
Rebecca, who's face was still red from the pepper spray sat in front of the camera, shaking her head. She was not only angry, but she was in pain.
"*Bleep* this." Was all she said.
(Switch to -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera with a frown on his face after his team's unnecessary loss.
"We has this challenge won. All of that work that I put in to making sure we kept the lead, and they blew it. I should be used to their failures by now, but surprisingly I'm not." Adrian started. "Either way, we may have lost, but Roxy managing to take herself out of the challenge trying to wipe me out was really enjoyable." He continued, a small grin somehow returning to his face.
(Confessional End)
(At Bonfire Ceremony)
The Villains currently sat around the Bonfire Pit, none of them too happy to be there again.
Brent sat in silence, taking a small glance over at Lefty, who although was also sitting in silence, was still managing to find a way to creep him out.
"Villains welcome back... again." Marionette started, as he approached the group. "Are you guys trying to maintain a losing streak or something? Because you're doing a really good job at it." He continued. None of the Villains were amused by his jokes. He let out a chuckle before deciding to continue. "Now, since it seems like it's been a year or something since our last Bonfire Ceremony, let me just quickly run through the rules again in case you have forgotten. So, I have four breadsticks on this plate, there are five of you. If you do not receive a breadstick you must take the dreaded walk all the way down the Dock of Shame, where you will be sent flying first class via the Cannon of Losers." He explained.
"Great." Roxy said in an uninterested tone. Marionette ignored her sarcasm.
"So, first breadstick of the night goes to Rebecca, who seems to have somehow taken the most damage even though she actually crossed the finish line." He said, tossing Rebecca a breadstick as he did.
"Next up with Adrian, who unlike the rest of you, ALSO crossed the finish line." Marionette said, tossing the wolf a breadstick. This left Brent, Lefty, and Roxy sitting there breadstickless.
"Hmmm..." he hummed as he stared at the three competitors. "Next breadstick goes to Roxy." He finally said, before tossing the vixen a breadstick. This left Brent and Lefty sitting there.
"Brent, Lefty, I think out of everyone, you two dropped the ball the hardest. I mean, you were almost at the finish line, what happened?!" Marionette exclaimed.
"HE happened." Brent replied, crossing his arms as he did. Lefty just let out a chuckle in response. His chuckle managed to creep everyone, including Marionette, out.
"Yeah, well... one of you is going home tonight." He said, trying to move on as quickly as he could.
(Dramatic Music Starts Playing)
Brent and Lefty were once again silenced. Sitting there watching as Marionette held on to the final breadstick.
Lefty was one thing, but Brent just couldn't believe this was the THIRD challenge in a row where he was in the bottom two. It almost seemed unreal.
Lefty however, didn't even seem the slightest bit fazed by any of this. It was weird.
(Music Gets More Dramatic)
Lefty and Brent continued to sit in silence as they watched Marionette continue to slowly move the final breadstick back and fourth, waiting to hear their fates.
"And the final breadstick of the night goes to..." Marionette started, as he began to slow down his movement of the breadstick.
Brent slid forward to the edge of the tree stump he was sitting, still having yet to remove his eyes from the breadstick. After all he went through to get here, getting eliminated after being in the bottom two three times in a row was not something he wanted on his roller coaster ride of a Total Drama resume.
Again, Lefty seemed to lack any sort of emotions. He sat there, staring ahead, seemingly at nothing in particular. He eventually glanced over towards Brent, who didn't seem to notice the bear staring at him.
"Hmmm..." Marionette hummed as he finally slowed the breadstick to a stop in between the two competitors. "... Brent." He finally called, tossing the relieved falcon the last breadstick. "Lefty... you're out." He finished, turning his attention towards the bear.
(Elimination Music Starts Playing)
Lefty sat on his stump letting out a dark, low chuckle. He didn't seem at all worried by his elimination. This only seemed to creep everyone out.
"Fate... is... funny... isn't it?" He questioned in a low, menacing tone.
"Uh..." Marionette decided to break the awkward silence that Lefty had built up. "It's... time to go, bro." He continued. Lefty just continued to chuckle. "Where's Nightmare when ya need him?" He asked himself quietly, furious that the large bear was still missing.
"Amigo, I-Uh think it's time to go." Adrian finally spoke up. Lefty glanced over at him, but still didn't say anything. This really creeped Adrian out.
But as they were all dealing with this, something else happened that no one expected.
"Hiya, guys!" Betty exclaimed happily as she approached the group. This caught everyone off guard.
"What are YOU doing here?!" Marionette asked.
"Yeah, didn't you get Eliminated, like, two challenges ago?" Roxy asked. Betty shrugged.
"Maybe." She replied. This caused Marionette to face palm.
"Alright, well, you're out too! So you need to go with Lefty." He said. At this point, everyone had turned their attention towards the rabbit.
"Uh... guys?" Rebecca spoke up, but no one seemed to even be paying attention to her.
"Come on! Let me stay! Pleeeeeaaaase?!" Betty pleaded with the host. Marionette shook his head.
"No!" He replied.
"Guys...?" Rebecca said a little louder, but still, she only seemed to continued to be ignored.
"Pleeeeeaaaasssseee?!?!" Betty continued to plead.
"NO!" Marionette said, a little more sternly.
"HEY GUYS?!" Rebecca yelled, silencing everyone, and getting them to finally look at her.
"Attitude..." Marionette said. Rebecca ignored his comment as she continued.
"Where's Lefty?" She asked.
"Huh?" Marionette began looking around, seeing no sign of the bear. "Where'd he go?!" He exclaimed as he frantically began looking around.
"You lost a loser..." Roxy facepalmed as she began shaking her head at the ridiculousness of the situation. This angered Marionette.
"You know what?! This is YOUR fault! So, since Lefty is now M.I.A, YOU'RE getting blasted away in the canon instead!" He exclaimed as he began pushing Betty towards the dock.
"W-wait, what?!" She exclaimed, trying to dig her heels into the ground. As he continued to push her, she twitch, lipstick and an apron appearing out of nowhere. "Sweetheart, sweetheart! W-what are you doing?!" Mama Maggie asked. Marionette ignored her as they finally reached the dock and he began to quickly push her down it.
"Betty-!" Marionette started, before being interrupted.
"-Its Mama Maggie!" Maggie exclaimed, Marionette shook his head, not caring.
"Fine! Maggie! You're out! Now get in the canon!" He exclaimed, pointing towards the canon. Maggie was just trying to figure out what was going on.
"W-wait! Will you at least tell mama what's wrong?!" She asked.
"No! Now get in!" Marionette replied, pointing towards the canon as he did. Without arguing further, Maggie climbed into the canon.
"I don't know what mama did, but just know that-AHHHHH!!!" Maggie began to say, before Marionette lit the fuse, blasting her away before she could finish. He stood there watching as she flew into the distance before twinkling into a star in the sky.
Marionette shook his head as he turned back towards camp, Jackson stood at the end of the dock with an disapproving look on his face and his arms crossed. Marionette rolled his eyes, before looking into to the camera.
"Now, before I have to go deal with THAT! What'll happen next?" Marionette asked. "What'll happen next in the Randy/Rebecca/Katy love triangle? Will Brent ever be able to avoid the bottom two? And will we ever find Lefty? Because him running around on the island with no supervision is... really unsafe." He continued. "Find out all of these answers and more, next time on Total... Drama... Fazbear... All-Stars!" He finished.
And that's a wrap on Chapter 11!
Firstly I'd like to acknowledge the elephant in the room: why was I gone for over a year? Well, the short answer is life. Writing just fell on the back burner.
So for those of you wondering what happened, that's it. I appreciate all the support my stories continue to get and am hoping to start updating regularly again. I knew abandoning Total Drama Fazbear All-Stars was not something I wanted to do. We're almost halfway through with the season and I want to finish it to maybe finally put a good bookend on the series.
So if you've hung around, waiting for updates, thank you.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the first chapter back, and I will see you again soon for Chapter 12!
