"Last time on Total Drama Fazbear All-Stars, our competitors were once again sent on a ski race, but this time with the added bonuses of doing it without snow, and having to avoid obstacles and booby traps along the way." Marionette started. "Carson was left to continue having to try to get used to the new and improved overnight Carly. Freddy continued to try and play Captain Solva Problem as he continued to try and help Katy and Doug through their relationship and stalking issues. And Rebecca and Roxy's secret alliance continued to get toasty after a very statuette-y trade off." He continued. "But in the end after a ski race full of insane wipeouts and and close calls, it would be The Heros that would secure the victory with the numbers advantage after Lefty decided to wipe out his own teammate, sending The Villains to the Bonfire Ceremony, where the psycho bear would get voted off, but somehow manage to escape before we could boot him, ending in a returning Mama Maggie being sent packing instead. I hope that doesn't come back to bite us in the butts." He finished with a chuckle.
"What insane obstacles are next for our remaining competitors?" Marionette asked. "Find out right now on another exciting edition of..."
"Total..."
"Drama..."
"Fazbear..."
"ALL-STARS!"
(Cues Theme Music)
It was currently a quarter after three in the morning. Despite laying in a comfortable bed with soft blankets draped over her, Katy couldn't sleep.
She laid there, silence filling the dark room. The only noise that could be heard was the occasional gust of wind outside the window. That's it.
She still had a lot on her mind. She figured that was the culprit behind her not being able to sleep.
After rolling around for awhile, she finally grabbed her pillow, covered her face with it, and let out a muffled, annoyed scream. She sat up, staring at the wall ahead of her, before shaking her head and pushing the covers off of her.
She NEEDED some air.
She slid her shoes on before walking to her bedroom door. She quietly opened the door, peaking out into the hallway, darkness consuming it.
After carefully making her way through the hotel as to not wake up any of her teammates, she headed outside, letting out a loud sigh of relief when she felt a gust of cool air hit her face.
She closed her eyes before taking a deep breath. Once she opened them, she began walking down the steps. She figured maybe going through a walk might help cool her head a little.
She headed towards the trail, ignoring the fact that it was shrouded in darkness thanks to the trees covering it. She walked down the trail hoping that maybe she would tire herself out enough that she could get some sleep when she got back to the hotel.
After walking down it for several minutes, she began to grow somewhat weary. She didn't know why. But... something didn't feel right. She stopped and began looking around.
"Hello?" She called out, but didn't get a response. She eventually heard rustling in the bushes behind her. She quickly shot around, her eyes trying to focus on the bushes, but the fact that everything was dark and she didn't bring a light with her didn't help.
Her eyes remained focused on the bushes for several seconds before she heard foot steps rushing further down the trail. That confirmed it: someone was out there with her.
"Follow me..." a voice said. It was a voice that she instantly recognized.
"R-Randy?" She said curiously as she, against her better judgement, once again began walking down the trail. She followed up until it led her to the entrance of the cave. She stopped, staring into the darkness of the cave. "Uh... Randy?!" She called quietly into the cave, hoping to get a response from the raccoon, but she didn't.
She looked back behind her down the darkened trail wondering again if maybe she should just turn back, before sighing and turning back towards the cave.
(Confessional -Katy)
Katy sat in front of the camera in silence for several seconds before she finally started.
"Okay look, now usually I wouldn't follow a voice into a dark cave because it told me to... but... Randy." She started, her cheeks slightly heating up as she looked away from the camera in embarrassment.
(Confessional End)
Katy finally began her trek into the darkness of the cave. She didn't know what she was going to find, but she knew what... or better yet WHO she was looking for.
She slowly made her way through, trying to make sure she didn't trip over anything in the darkness. She only began to slow to a stop when the darkness had consumed the area around her.
"R-Randy? Are you in here?" She called again, this time her voice slightly shaky. Again, no response. At least... at first.
A whisp of sound behind her got her to slowly quickly shoot around. At that point, she knew for sure she wasn't alone.
She frantically began looking around to see if she could see ANYTHING at all... but she couldn't. And as she began to panic, she heard the sound again, running the opposite direction.
That was it... she took off back towards the entrance of the cave. As she ran, she heard the rushed sounds of running footsteps behind her.
But suddenly... they stopped.
Katy could see the entrance of the cave in the distance, but slowed to a stop when she didn't hear the footsteps behind her anymore. She slowed to a stop, before slowly turning around.
As she did...
"BOO!" Randy quickly popped up in front of her, shining a flashlight up at himself.
"AHHHHH!!!!" Katy exclaimed as she quickly shot back, more scared than she had been in along time.
Randy broke out into laughter as Katy fell back into the cave wall, her heart beating a hundred miles an hour as she stared at the laughing raccoon.
"W-What the *Bleep*!" Katy exclaimed, as Randy continued to laugh.
"S-sorry, sorry... I just..." he tried to say through his laughter. The more he laughed, the more annoyed Katy started to become.
Randy finally took notice to this and tried to cease his laughter. "O-okay, okay... I-" he finally continued, only to have the kangaroo cross her arms and look away from him.
"Hmph." Was the response he got. This made the raccoon's eyes slightly widen.
"C'mon Katy, that was totally funny." He said, instantly knowing that wasn't the right thing to say. He rolled his eyes, knowing he had upset her. "Okay, fine, I'm sorry for scaring you. I... shouldn't have done that." He apologized. Katy still refused to look at him.
He stared at her for several seconds before a small smirk grew on his face. He immediately rushed forward, pressing both of his paws against the cave wall on either side of the kangaroo, pinning her to the wall. The flashlight he had dropped moments earlier shone up at the pair, making his smirk pretty clear.
Katy was somewhat taken aback by his daring-ness, but decided to let him continue.
"C'mon, you know you can't stay mad at me." He side. Katy, who had finally turned her full attention back towards him, slightly blushed. Without saying a word, she shook her head before wrapping her arms around Randy's neck and pulling him into a kiss. One that he gladly accepted.
The two held their kiss for several seconds, before they finally broke it.
"You're a lucky raccoon." She said, Randy shrugged.
"Yeah, probably." He said. "You know, we've been here for a few weeks already and this is the first time you've kissed me. I feel a little offended." He continued, he somehow sounded serious and like he was joking at the same time.
"I've hardly got to be around you..." Katy started, sounding a little offended herself. "And besides, this "relationship" thing works both ways, ya know?" She continued.
"I mean, I've been around." Randy replied, trying to play it off.
"Yeah? You mean spending all of your free time with Rebecca?" Katy spoke up, her annoyance once again returning as she thought about the female raccoon. Randy immediately took notice to that, knowing this was not a path he wanted to go down.
"I haven't been spending ALL my free time with Rebecca..." He mumbled, before immediately shaking his head. "Things are... confusing right now." He continued, immediately regretting wording it that way.
"Confusing? CONFUSING?! Randy, I'm going to end up killing her! And you're confused?!" She exclaimed, causing the raccoon to back away. She tried not to show it, but he knew that Katy had a temper when she was passionate about something. And besides that, she knew how to fight. The last thing he wanted was saying something so ignorant that she kicks his head off.
"Okay, okay. Cal-" He began, before cutting himself off when he saw the way she was staring at him. "This whole Rebecca thing... you have NOTHING to worry about. I'm not into her. I promise." He continued, really trying to calm the situation. Katy didn't seem convinced. "C'mon babe, we've been a thing for how long now? How many times have I brought up Rebecca?" He asked. Katy glanced off to the side, crossing her arms before mumbling her response.
"You... haven't." That's exactly what Randy wanted to hear.
"Exactly! You're worrying yourself with this whole thing for no reason." He said, once again stepping back towards her.
"Nothing to worry about?" Katy questioned quietly as she leaned in towards the raccoon's chest.
"Nothing to worry about." He responded, his tone low, yet serious, his smirk once again returning to his face. After, he leaned in and kissed her once again.
After kissing for several more seconds, the pair finally decided to head back towards the hotel to try and get some sleep.
"So what were you doing out here this late?" Katy asked as they walked the trail, now guided by the light of Randy's flashlight.
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" Randy said curiously. Katy shook her head.
"No. No you shouldn't." She replied.
The two continued their walk, unknowingly being watched by a dark set of unsettling eyes.
(Confessional -Randy)
Randy sat in front of the camera for several seconds, before finally shrugging.
"I take not getting my head kicked off by an irate kangaroo a win." He said.
(Confessional End)
(With Carly)
Carly had woken up a little earlier than she had been. Ever since her complete change of character, she had been sleeping in late. Something she never really did before.
She went out of her way to make sure she got up early because she wanted to try and spend some time with Carson. She knew he had been pretty upset the past few days, and that was something she didn't like seeing.
After getting up, showering, and putting on some clean clothes, she headed out of the hotel to try and track him down.
She began wandering around camp to see what she could see. She walked over towards the beach first, knowing that's l where he usually liked to spend his free time, but he wasn't there. No Carson in sight.
After not finding him there, she turned and headed back in the direction she came. Her next destination was the dining hall. Maybe he just decided to go hang out in there... for some reason?
She entered the dinning hall, it seeming pretty barren at first glance, but it didn't take long before she noticed Brent and Cheek sitting at one of the tables.
"Three times Cheek! I haven't even been back for two weeks and have already been in the bottom two THREE times!" The falcon exclaimed, still not completely sure of what had been happening. Cheek shook her head.
"The problem is... you're on the wrong team. You're not an absolute jerk, that's why." She replied. As Brent was sat there thinking about his girlfriend's response, he finally noticed the cat standing in the doorway.
"Carly, hey." He said, getting Cheek to turn around to face her.
"Good morning, Carly." She said. The cat offered the two a small smile before responding.
"Good morning. Have either of you seen Carson?" She asked, getting right to the point. Both of her feathered peers shook their heads in response.
"I haven't seen him since we got back to Hotel last night. He locked himself in his room and never came out." Cheek replied. This worried the cat.
"I checked his room before I left the hotel and he wasn't there." Carly said. This somewhat took Cheek aback. So he had decided to leave his room?
"He must have left early this morning?" The chicken said curiously.
"Do you want us to help you find him?" Brent asked. She seemed as worried about his whereabouts now as he did for hers the other day.
"You guys don't have to. I didn't mean to interrupt you." Carly apologized. Brent waved her off.
"No, you're not interrupting. We were just wasting time. It's not a big deal." He said. Cheek nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, we don't mind helping you." She said.
"Well... I- thank you." Carly began to argue with the pair, not wanting to make them go out of their way to help her, but after they both assured her they didn't mind, she just decided to thank them instead.
(Confessional -Carly)
Carly sat in front of the camera, glancing off to the side for several seconds, before finally looking into it.
"I... don't usually like asking for help. I just feel like a bother. But Brent and Cheek, they've been really nice to me since we've been here. They said they don't mind helping me, and I believe them." Carly said. "I just hope we can find Carson before today's challenge starts. I would... like to talk to him." She continued, sounding worried, yet hopeful as she did.
(Confessional End)
Carly, Cheek, and Brent has exited the dining hall and began their hunt for Carson. They walked around camp for a few more minutes just looking around to double check to see if he had come back... but no luck.
After that, they decided maybe they should split up. They figured they would cover more ground that way. As they discussed their game plan, Carson came walking down the trail and back into camp, coming to a stop when he noticed the three of them looking at him.
"Carson." Carly said, relief taking over her as she did.
"Hey... uh, what's going on?" He asked, confused.
"Makeshift search party." Brent replied. Again, Carson was confused.
"Search party? What's wrong?" He asked.
"They... were helping me. I was looking for you." Carly replied, getting Carson to look back at her. He didn't say anything before she continued. "I just wanted to talk." She admitted.
"Yeah, sorry for worrying you. I got up early and went for a walk around the island. Just needed to think." He apologized before explaining why he was M.I.A. all morning.
"Carson... are you okay?" Carly asked. He stared at her for several seconds before finally nodding.
"Yeah, I'm... great." He replied, forcing a smile on his face as he did. He was trying to be as genuine as he could possibly be, but from the way Carly was staring at him, she could tell he didn't mean it.
Brent and Cheek glanced over at each other, remaining just as silent as Carson and Carly at this point. They didn't really want to interject themselves, but they also didn't want to just walk off either.
(Confessional -Brent)
Brent sat in front of the camera for several seconds before he finally said anything.
"I'm honestly not really sure what to do in a situation like that. Carson and Carly clearly have their own things they need to talk about that aren't any of Cheek and I's business. But it would have been rude to just... walk off, right?" He said curiously, not really sure of the answer.
(Confessional End)
"I'm okay, Carly. I promise." Carson finally spoke again after remaining silent for far longer than he probably needed to.
Just like the other day, instead of pushing him or arguing with him about it, Carly just nodded in response. She didn't want to make him mad. After seeing her nod, Carson offered her a thankful smile.
"I... think I'm going to take a shower and get some breakfast. I'll... uh, catch up with you later, okay?" He said.
"Ok..." Carly replied. Her tone was somewhat somber, at least compared to what it usually was. She just seemed to lack her usual positivity.
After, Carson gave her another smile, before walking away. Nodding at Brent and Cheek as he walked past them. Nobody said a word, listening as they heard the door to the hotel open and close behind them.
Brent and Cheek stared ahead at Carly, who just seemed to be lost in thought. They glanced at each other, before finally approaching the cat.
"Carly, are you-" Cheek began to ask, before being interrupted before she could finish.
"-I'll be fine. Thank you guys for your help." She looked over at the pair, thanking them again, before walking off towards the dock, leaving Brent and Cheek standing there in silence.
(Confessional -Cheek)
Cheek sat in front of the camera, a somewhat worried look on her on face.
"I know that Carson and Carly are both having their own problems right now, and I know that it's really none of Brent and I's business. But I just really hope that the two of them can figure things out before it gets too bad." Cheek said.
(Confessional End)
(With Rebecca)
Rebecca was currently pacing back and fourth in the girls side of the Losers cabin. She was waiting for Roxy, who had agreed to meet her there after she took a shower and got breakfast.
That was almost two hours ago...
Rebecca began to grow impatient with the vixen. She knew going in to things that Roxy wasn't going to be easy to work with. But she had already accepted that she was going to have to deal with it if she wanted to make sure Katy got taken out.
But ever since Rebecca had given her "the statuette", she seemed to care even less about their agreement than she did before.
Eventually, Rebecca was broken from her thoughts when she heard the creaky old wooden door of the cabin open and saw Roxy walk in.
"What?" Roxy said in her own annoyed tone when she saw the way Rebecca was looking at her.
"It took you two hours to eat breakfast and take a shower?" Rebecca asked. Roxy rolled her eyes.
"Eating the slop they had in the dining hall and using that disgusting public bathroom? Yeah, it did." She replied, somehow sounding more annoyed than before.
"Look, I know this is all a big joke to you, but this Katy thing is taking way too long. You said-" Rebecca started, before being interrupted.
"-I know what I said. No need to remind me." The vixen said, as she continued doing her own thing. Rebecca let out a low growl at this.
(Confessional -Rebecca)
Rebecca sat in front of the camera with an annoyed expression on her face.
"Roxy and I had a deal. I... technically fulfilled my end of it. At least as far as she knows. So... I EXPECT her to do the same." She started. "But... the more time she's wastes, and the longer Katy is here, that's just less uninterrupted time I'll have with Randy, and that doesn't sit well with me." She continued.
(Confessional End)
As Roxy continued to pretty much try to ignore Rebecca's presence, the raccoon finally decided to speak up again.
"Ah... HELLO?!" She exclaimed, her annoyance very obvious. Roxy once again rolled her eyes, before turning to face the raccoon.
"What?" The vixen said, clearly uninterested in what she had to say.
"Again, WE made a deal. And I lived up to my end of it. It's YOUR turn to do the same. I want Katy GONE!" Rebecca snapped, louder than she knew she probably should have.
Adrian, who had been exiting the guys' side of the Losers Cabin at that EXACT moment had overheard the raccoon raise her voice.
"Hmm?" He quietly hummed as he came to a stop to listen in.
"Please. You're only getting loud with me because you KNOW deep down that Randy wants to be with the kangaroo and it's eating you up." Roxy started, silencing the raccoon. "I know what I said. She's going to get eliminated, I can PROMISE you that. She's going to get eliminated just like everyone else because I'm promising you right now that I WILL win this season." As she continued, a frown formed on Rebecca's face. "Now, let me give you a word of advice. Don't you DARE get an attitude with me again. Because I will make you regret it." After finishing with her threat, she walked past the raccoon and out of the cabin, completely ignoring Adrian as she did.
Adrian watched her walk away, pretending he hadn't been standing there eavesdropping on the two females, before peeking into the cabin and glancing at Rebecca, who stood there with paws clenched into fists. Even though her back was facing him, he could easily tell that what Roxy had said had made her irate.
(Confessional -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera with a small smirk on his face.
"So, those two have been working together to get rid of Katy. I'm shocked." He said sarcastically, before shaking his head. "They may think they have all of this planned out, but a wrench is about to be thrown into their plans. A wrench that neither one of them is going to be able to avoid." He continued, his smirk widening as he did.
(Confessional End)
(With Freddy)
After eating breakfast and getting a nice early morning shoulder massage, the now relaxed bear headed out of the Hotel & Spa. His first real mission of the day was to track down Doug to see how he was doing. He had gone to check his room to see if he was there before leaving, but he wasn't.
Freddy began his stroll around camp as he searched for his "missing" teammate.
His search eventually led him to the dock, where he saw Carly sitting alone. He thought about leaving her be, but the quick realization that she was upset about something prompted him to approach her.
"Good morning, Carly." The bear greeted in his usual friendly tone. Carly glanced back, momentarily locking eyes with the bear.
"Good morning, Freddy." She replied, the sadness in her tone obvious to the bear. She returned her gaze forward, toward the lake, as Freddy stood there staring at her.
"Is everything alright?" He asked. He knew it wasn't any of his business, but with how upset she seemed, he just couldn't help but ask.
"I guess." It took her a minute, but she finally gave the bear a response. It didn't sound too convincing though.
Freddy stared at her for a few seconds before finally walking towards her and taking a seat next to her at the end of the dock.
"I hope you don't mind if I join you." He said. Carly shook her head.
"You're fine." She replied. After, the pair stayed silent for a minute as they stared out at the lake.
"I think you should talk to him." Freddy finally spoke up. This got Carly to look at him.
"Huh?" She seemed confused by this.
"Carson. I know this isn't any of my business, but I just hate seeing you guys like this." Freddy explained, looking back towards her.
"You... guys?" The cat questioned. Freddy nodded.
"I'm not sure he'd be too happy if he found out I said anything, but Carson has seemed pretty upset the past few days, and a gut feeling of mine says it probably has something to do with you." He said. "I think it would probably be best for the both of you if you sat down and talked about it." He continued. Carly stared at him for a few seconds before looking down towards the dock, now lost in thought about what he had just said.
She cared about Carson. She had noticed that he seemed to have been acting different. But the thing she didn't know for sure was that it had something to do with her. She didn't want him hurting because of her. She also knew that Freddy was right... she did need to talk to him.
"Freddy... you're right." She said, finally looking back up towards the bear. "I have to find Carson." She continued. Freddy gave her a small smile and a pat on the back as she went to stand up.
"There ya go. Go get 'em." He said. Carly returned the smile and gave him a nod, before turning and heading back up the dock.
"Thanks Freddy!" She called back towards the bear as she ran back towards camp. Freddy watched her with a smile on his face. But once she was out of sight, his smile slowly dropped into a frown. He sighed as he sat there.
(Confessional -Freddy)
Freddy sat in front of the camera with that same frown taking over his face as before.
"Although I'm here to try to help make everyone else I can happy, I still can't help but feel... bad." He started, before shaking his head as his smile returned to his face. "But it's not about me. Sure, I'm here to win just like everyone else, but hey, if I can help solve people's problems too, it's a win." He continued.
(Confessional End)
After sitting on the dock for a few more minutes, Freddy got up and began his walk back towards camp.
(Air Horn Blows)
"All competitors meet me in the middle of camp for today's challenge!" Marionette's voice boomed over the intercom.
Luckily for Freddy, he didn't have far to walk considering he was already back in camp. Unfortunately though, he was never able to find Doug to check up on him. That slightly worried him.
Freddy stood around alone for a few minutes before anyone else showed up. The next competitor to actually get there was Rebecca.
The female raccoon stormed towards the center of camp, arms crossed, with a clear scowl on her face. If it was obvious already, she was upset about something.
Carly arrived next. But she was alone. "How did it go?" The bear asked as she approached him. She shook her head in response.
"I never found him. I checked the hotel but he wasn't there." She explained. That disappointed the bear to hear.
"Ah, I'm sorry about that, Carly." He said.
"It's okay. I'll get a chance to talk to him." She replied.
Before the pair could continue with their conversation, Brent and Cheek walked up. After them, the others started arriving relatively quickly.
Randy and Katy actually showed up together. Rebecca did NOT seem too amused by that. She glared at the kangaroo as they approached. Katy noticed and instantly returned the glare.
After them, it was just Doug they were now waiting on. This worried Freddy. Especially with Lefty apparently still roaming around on the island.
"Gooooood morning, competitors!" Marionette exclaimed as he approached the group with Jackson not far behind him. That's when he stopped and began looking around, squinting as he did.
He quietly began counting the competitors, "We're missing someone!" He exclaimed.
"Here we go..." Roxy said, rolling her eyes as she did.
"Yeah, Doug." Freddy spoke up.
"Well, where is he?" Marionette asked. Freddy shook his head.
"I'm not sure." He replied.
"I haven't seen him all morning." Cheek spoke up. Carson nodded at this.
"I haven't either." He said.
"So no ones seen him?" Marionette asked, clearly annoyed by this.
"Perhaps Lefty got to him. He has kept his eyes on him." Adrian spoke up. The thought of that alone made Freddy shake his head.
Lefty clearly had issues. He didn't even want to think about what the bear may do to Doug if he got ahold of him.
Regardless of the seriousness of the current situation, Marionette's twisted mind kept turning and he came up with an idea.
"I got it!" He exclaimed. "Due to Doug's apparent ''kidnapping'', we obviously won't be able to continue on with today's original challenge. At least not in it's original form." A smirk formed on his face as he spoke. No one liked that.
"This is serious! You're really going to turn this into a game?!" Cheek exclaimed. Marionette nodded.
"Yep!" He exclaimed as if nothing was wrong. Jackson didn't seem amused by this either.
"I don't agree with what you're doing here. If the safety of a competitor is at risk, this is something that should be taken seriously." He spoke up. Marionette rolled his eyes.
"It is, it is. No one's even let me explain the challenge yet. Sheesh." He said. "Now, today's challenge has now become an apparent rescue mission. The first competitor to find Doug and return back to camp wins. Simple." He explained. Randy shook his head.
"Not buying it, beanpole. What's the catch? There's always a catch with you." He said. The others nodded.
"Yeah, enough with your games. What's the rest of the challenge?" Roxy asked as she stood with her arms crossed, and an annoyed expression on her face.
"Pushy, the whole lot of you." Marionette started, only further annoying them. "Well, for starters, I'm going to give all of you a pair of these-" he continued as a crew member ran up with a box and sat it as he feet. He leaned down and began pulling deer antlers out of it, before tossing them around to the competitors. "-because today, as you're trying to hunt for Doug, my new *clears throat* assistant, is going to be hunting you." This caught everyone off guard.
"New assistant?" Rebecca said curiously. Marionette nodded.
"Yep!" He exclaimed.
"Who is it?" Carson asked.
"Now what fun would it be if I told you? Why ruin the surprise?" Marionette said curiously, his smirk returning to his face. They HATED his ''surprises''.
"Okay, but I'm not wearing these." Randy said as he looked down at the pair of antlers in his paws.
"Yes, yes you are. Because, refusal to participate in costumed portions of challenges going forward will result in automatic elimination from the competition!" Marionette exclaimed. Randy scowled, before he began mumbling very obscene things towards the host.
(Confessional -Randy)
Randy sat in front of the camera, a scowl on his face, his arms crossed, and deer antlers on his head.
"I hate this place." He said simply.
(Confessional End)
"Hold on, amigo. So, what about teams? You said first person to find Doug and bring him back to camp wins. Does said competitor win, or does the whole team win?" Adrian asked. Marionette thought about it a minute, before his smirk once again returned to his face. He was enjoying this.
"For this challenge, it will be... every... competitor... for... themselves." He replied. Everyone gasped as they began looking around at each other. "So... good luck, because the challenge starts... NOW!" He continued. As soon as he did, everyone competitor took off running.
The hunt for Doug was on.
Marionette stood there watching, a low laugh escaping him as he did.
(Confessional -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera, a small smile on his face.
"Every competitor for themselves? Even if it is just for this one challenge, it's time to prove to perdedores that not only am I better off without them, but that I'm going to win this season." He said, before letting out a little chuckle.
(Switch to -Freddy)
Freddy sat in front of the camera, worry clearly having taken over his face.
"Now, I suppose worrying is the last thing I should be doing right now. BUT considering the current circumstances surrounding Lefty, I feel worrying is justified." Freddy started. "Wherever Doug is, I hope he is okay." He continued.
(Confessional End)
(With Doug)
It was dark. Really dark. Doug was currently hanging upside by his feet with a sack over his head. He didn't know where he was. The last thing he remembered was getting up to use the bathroom the previous night, then he blacked out.
Even though he couldn't see anything, he began wiggling to maybe try and get free. As he did, he heard a dark, low laugh. A laugh that made his blood run cold. Even though his head was covered, he began pancaking, trying to look around. He knew the laugh. It was a laugh that he was all too familiar with...
...It was Lefty.
The laughing continued as it began to get closer to him until it was only a couple feet away. It took a minute, but it finally stopped. The silence returning. He froze. Not moving an inch.
Several seconds passed before the sack was ripped off of his head and he became face to face with the bear that had been haunting his nightmares. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't. He was horrified and Lefty could tell. The bear once again began his laughter as he continued to stare at the helpless dog.
(With Randy)
Randy was currently walking around in the woods, hoping maybe he'd just so happen to stumble upon Doug.
He honestly didn't figure he was going to be that lucky though.
He had been with Katy searching, but the pair had decided to split up in hopes of covering more ground.
"Randy! Hey!" He heard a voice call from behind. This caused him to stop and turn around, locking eyes on Rebecca as she ran towards him. "H-hey, hi." The female said as she came to a stop in front of him. Randy stared at her for several seconds, not saying a thing as he did.
"What?" He finally said, not seeming too interested in making conversation with her at that moment.
"I-I uh... I just thought maybe we could look for Doug together. We could find him and take him back to camp together to share the win." Rebecca explained her idea to Randy, who clearly wasn't interested in it.
"I'd rather look for him alone. Thanks though." He said before turning and beginning to walk off.
"Wait!" Rebecca exclaimed, causing him to roll his eyes.
"What?" He said with an exasperated sigh, clearly more annoyed this time.
"We... haven't really got to spend much time together the past couple of days. I'd... like to." Rebecca said. Her tone sounded innocent enough, so Randy slowly turned around to look at her. She stood with her paws clasped together, staring down at the ground.
"We're in the middle of a challenge. I don't think nows the time to-" He started, before being interrupted.
"-hey, Randy, I-" Katy began as she appeared from behind some brush, coming to a stop once she saw Rebecca. The two females instantly began trading glares with one another.
"What do you want?" Both females asked in unison. Randy closed his eyes and sighed a deep sigh, knowing where this was going. "What do I want?! No! What do YOU want?!" They once again both exclaimed in unison, this time even more annoyed by the other than before. After, they both let out low growls as they closed in on each other. They were face to face now, ready to go.
Unbeknownst to the trio, they were currently being watched. They were being watched by the person that Marionette sent out to "hunt" them.
Deciding dealing with the two females was not something he wanted to do at that moment, Randy turned around and began walking away from the two in the direction he had been going. This left Rebecca and Katy angrily glaring at each other in the middle of the trail.
"Come on Randy, lets leave hops alone and-" Rebecca started, before finally noticing the male raccoon was gone. "-Randy?" She said curiously as she began looking around for him. Katy did too.
"Where-" Katy began to speak to no one in particular when she was cut off.
"Great! Look what you did! You scared him off!" Rebecca exclaimed getting Katy to look at her in shock. That shock quickly wore off, turning into anger.
"Me?! Are you kidding me?! Everything was fine until YOU showed up and started bothering him like you usually do!" She snapped back. This, in turn, angered Rebecca.
"Bothering him?!" The female raccoon exclaimed. At this point, the two females were fixing to go to blows... but they didn't get the chance to.
A dart came flying out of a nearby bush, nailing Katy. She instantly started feeling woozy, before dropping to the ground. Although her anger was still there, Rebecca's confusion took over her face.
She quickly looked up, her eyes locking on the pair staring at her through the bush. Before she could react, a dart was fired at her, nailing her right in the arm. It only took a few seconds before she joined the now out cold Katy on the ground.
The assailant slowly made his way out from behind the bush, walking towards the two females.
"Two down, eight to go." The figure said to themself, before continuing their way down the trail in the direction Randy had gone.
(Confessional -Randy)
Randy sat in front of the camera with his arms crossed.
"Ya know, I could have stayed behind and stood there listening to them argue, or heck, even tried to keep them from killing each other, but at this point, I just didn't want to deal with it." He said, shrugging as he did. "Besides, I'm sure they're fine. They haven't done taken each other out yet, so why start now?" He continued.
(Confessional End)
(With Freddy)
"Doug? Doug are you over here?!" Freddy called out towards the missing dog as he made his way through the forest.
The island was big, so he knew Doug could have been anywhere. He was worried, and the fact that Marionette was making a game out of this angered him. But for Doug's sake, he knew he needed to find him before Lefty did something to him.
"Oh, man." The bear said to himself as he continued his search.
(With Brent and Cheek)
Regardless of the current "team" situation, Brent and Cheek decided to try their luck at working together to find Doug.
Neither of them had been around Lefty for too long compared to some of the others, but just from the little bit of time they had been around the bear, he had always given them really unsettling vibes, and considering his apparent obsession with Doug, they knew they needed to find him.
"What do you think Lefty is going to do to Doug?" Cheek asked. She sounded worried. Brent glanced over at his girlfriend. He didn't know what that crazy bear was thinking.
"Hopefully nothing worse than... kidnapping." He replied, hoping that they would find the dog unscathed.
"Hopefully." Cheek said.
(Confessional -Brent)
Brent sat in front of the camera, glancing off to the side for several seconds before finally looking into it.
"I know someone will find Doug. I'm just hoping when we do, they'll finally get Lefty off the island. This whole thing is just way too creepy to let slide, ya know?" He said.
(Confessional End)
The avian couple continued their hunt through the forest, still not having any luck on finding Doug.
As they walked, Cheek glanced over at her boyfriend, the antlers on his head. A small smile crept onto her face as she stared at him.
"I think you look cute with antlers." She said, getting him to look over at her. She didn't know why she said it, but she felt like she needed to. Brent chuckled.
"Really?" He said curiously. Cheek nodded.
"Really." She replied. Brent couldn't help but be amused by his girlfriend's admission. Something that it did for both of them was help ease their worry a little bit. They both needed that.
"Well, I mean, I think you look cute with antlers, too." He said. Cheek's cute smile remained on her face as he did.
(With Adrian)
Just like the others, Adrian had been wandering around the island in search of Doug. He wanted that victory.
He had already checked some of the most obvious places he could think of that he and Lefty would be: the boathouse, the beach, and the dining hall were all empty, to his annoyance, of course.
After checking around camp, he headed towards the back side of the island and into the forest. Everyone else had scattered. So he was hoping they all went the wrong way, and he was getting closer to finding Doug.
As he made his way through the forest, he began to hear rustling in the distance. This piqued his interest. He began making his way towards it, hoping that it would lead to him easily winning the challenge. But instead of being greeted by Doug and/or Lefty, he saw Carson looking through bushes. He seemed rather... down.
A smirk formed on his face as he planned his next move. He cleared his throat as he approached the other competitor.
"Hello Carson," he greeted in a friendly tone, causing him to slightly jump in surprise, before turning around to look at him. He seemed a little annoyed about being startled. "how's it going?" His small smirk returned to his face as he spoke. Carson stared at him for several seconds before deciding to say anything.
"Why?" Was all he knew to say. Although he hadn't had too much interaction with Adrian so far, he did know about what he had done in other seasons.
"Can't a man just be curious what an amigo is up to?" He said curiously. Carson continued to stare at him for several seconds, before a curious glare formed on his face.
"What are you up to?" He asked. Adrian faked an insulted expression.
"I'm not sure what you mean, Carson. I am not up to anything at all." He replied. Carson stared at him for several seconds before shaking his head and looking back towards where he had been looking.
"I don't believe you." Adrian stared at him, his smirk having turned into a frown at this point.
"That is truly unfortunate, Carson. I mean no harm, I assure you. I was just walking through and wanted to check on you. I know you've been rather down lately." He spoke, trying to sound sincere. This got Carson to look back at the wolf.
"What are you talking about? I haven't been... down." He said.
"Amigo, come on, you've made it rather obvious. You're upset, and I have a sneaking suspicion it's about Carly's big attitude adjustment." Adrian replied. The mention of Carly only seemed to upset The Hero. He immediately made his way towards the wolf, pointing a finger towards his chest.
"Don't mention Carly in any way, shape, or form." He said in a very serious tone. Adrian put his paws up in response.
"Whoa, whoa, I meant no disrespect, Carson. Honest." He said in defense. "I realize you care about her, and you're upset that she's gone and changed herself. You liked her the way she was, right?" He said curiously. Carson stared at him for several more seconds, his annoyed frown remaining on his face, before he finally looked away, dropping his finger down from the wolf's chest as he did.
"Yeah, Yeah I did." He replied. Adrian nodded.
"You know, perhaps you should embrace her change considering you were the reason it happened to begin with." He said, trying to hide his reforming smirk. Carson seemed surprised by this.
"What are you talking about?" He said curiously.
"Well, you guys have spent a good majority of your time on the island together, correct? She was a shy, timid thing at first, then she started spending all of her time with you. I'm not trying to offend you in any way here Carson, but it seems to me that the whole reason for her major change was you. Perhaps somewhere along the line you made her feel like she needed to be better? I'm not saying that you did, it's just a thought." Adrian explained. This left Carson staring down towards the ground in silence.
Adrian stood there in a silence of his own, waiting for Carson to respond to what he had just said.
"I-I..." he finally started, before shaking his head as he looked back up towards the wolf. "-no. She didn't change because of me. I don't believe that." He not only sounded angry, but he sounded hurt at the thought of being the reason that Carly felt the need to change.
"I do not mean to make you angry, friend. I'm just letting you know. Perhaps you should give Carly some space for a little while? At least if you can't accept who she is now." Adrian said. Carson finally looked away from the wolf again, before he began to walk off without saying another word. Adrian's smirk became more apparent now that Carson's back was turned to him.
(Confessional -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera with a somewhat proud smirk on his face.
"Even with these silly antlers on my head, I still know how to easily play the game. Carson seems harmless, obviously. But it doesn't hurt to get a head start, just in case." He said before shrugging.
(Switch to -Carson)
Carson sat in front of the camera in silence for several seconds before he finally said anything.
"I'm not the reason for Carly feeling like she needed to change. I know I'm not. I can't be." He said before shaking his head.
(Confessional End)
As Adrian stood watching Carson disappear into the distance, he didn't realize there was someone walking up behind him.
"Was that Carson?" The mystery approacher asked. This caused Adrian to turn around. It was Carly.
"Carly! Hello, friend. Yes! That was Carson. I tried talking to him, but he seemed like he was feeling guilty about something and wasn't in the mood to talk. I would let him be if I was you. He seems like he could use the space." Adrian replied.
"Feeling guilty about something?" This confused Carly. What would be feeling guilty about?
"Unfortunately, yes. Hopefully he'll start feeling better." He said. Carly honestly wasn't too sure about what to say to that. Now she began to worry about what he was feeling guilty about. She knew she wanted to talk to him still, but she also began to wonder if maybe Adrian was right. Should she give him his space and leave him alone? "I wouldn't worry about it too much right now, we still have a challenge to finish." He began again, patting Carly on the shoulder as he began to walk again, leaving Carly standing alone with her thoughts.
(With Doug)
Doug was still dangling upside down. At this point, it seemed like all the blood had rushed to his head so he was feeling dizzy.
Lefty had continued to weirdly pace around, not doing much beyond that. Occasionally he would get in Doug's face and do his signature chilling laugh, but that's it.
Although he couldn't really focus on anything, Doug began trying to look around the area he was in. It was somewhat dark and cold. There wasn't much to it besides rock chunks scattered around. They were clearly in a cave. They much seemed obvious.
But as he continued to look around, his eyes finally landed on a drawing that was stuck to the wall. It was somewhat hard to make out what it was. As he tried to focus on it, he heard Lefty begin to mutter to himself.
"All alone. No ones home." Doug wasn't sure what that meant, but he tried to ignore it as he focused on the drawing. That's when he began to make out a shape. It was a person. With the build it seemed like a female. A grey female with tall ears?
Wait...
Just as Doug was fixing to make the connection, Lefty quickly approached him and spun him the other way. The two were now face to face again.
"Hi doggy... having fun?" He asked. He slightly tilted his head to the side as he did. It was definitely unsettling. Doug tried to move his head back away from the bear, but really didn't get far. This got Lefty to start his laughing once again.
(With Roxy)
Roxy had circled around camp at this point and had headed back into the forest by the trail. She was beginning to grow rather annoyed by the fact that she hadn't found Doug yet and won the challenge.
"Where is that stupid bear hiding?" Roxy asked herself as she made her way through the forest.
(Confessional -Roxy)
Roxy sat in front of the camera rather annoyed. It was clear that she wanted to get the challenge over with.
"I know Lefty is a creep. The bear made that much obvious. I know that if you're going to kidnap someone you should probably find a good place to hide them if you don't want to get caught. But he seems like an idiot. I don't understand how he can be doing so well at hiding Doug. It doesn't make any sense." She said.
(Confessional End)
She continued walking around for several more minutes until she finally heard something in the distance. This caused a smirk to grow on her face. Did Lefty just give himself up? She hoped.
She quickly approached to where the sound had come from. She saw a somewhat tall bush and figured they must have been on the other side.
"This challenge is mine." She said as she grabbed the bush and parted it so she could peak her head through and hopefully catch the bear off guard, but what she got instead was Freddy had been on the other side doing the exact same thing.
"Ow!" Both competitors exclaimed as they knocked their heads together, before falling back out of the bush and down to the ground.
"HA!" Roxy heard from the side as she angrily sat on the ground rubbing her forehead. She looked over and saw Randy standing there, seemingly having enjoyed the show.
"Yeah, it's hilarious. Laugh all you want." The vixen said, clearly annoyed by the raccoon's amusement.
"Oh, I'm going to." He replied, still laughing as he did. As he stood there laughing and Roxy pushed herself to her feet, Freddy came walking around the other side of the bush, rubbing his own forehead.
"That was great." He said in a sarcastic tone, before shaking his head. "Have either of you found anything yet?" He asked, looking towards the other two competitors.
"Does it look like it?" Roxy said, clearly annoyed.
"Come on, chill, Princess. It was a question." Randy said after his laughter finally ceased. Roxy frowned at him.
"I'm not in the mood for questions right now." She replied.
"Considering the jeopardy that Doug is currently in, I feel like questions are very warranted right now rather you're in the mood or not." Freddy said.
"Yeah, I think-" Randy started, before stopping when a sudden rustle was heard. This got all three competitors' attention.
"Doug?" Freddy said curiously as he slowly began to approach the bush.
"Make sure not to hit your head again." Randy called out. Freddy ignored him, but Roxy returned her annoyed glance to him.
"What?" He said curiously.
Freddy slowly approached the bush, and just as he was about to peak into it, a dart sped past his head, causing him to jump back. It nearly avoided Roxy, before nailing Randy right in the side.
Freddy and Roxy, both in shock, turned their attention towards the raccoon, who was looking down at the dart sticking out of his side.
"Oh, man. Not cool." He said, before collapsing to the ground.
After he dropped, they quickly looked back towards the bush, where another dart was fired at them. Freddy dodged this one. Roxy had taken off running, but wasn't quick enough, before the dart hit her right in the butt, causing her to drop to the ground.
"W-whoever shot that... is... so... dead." She managed to get out, before blacking out. Before another dart was fired, Freddy finally took off running, leaving their mystery attacker standing there watching.
(With Carly)
After her confrontation with Adrian, Carly decided to head the opposite direction of where Carson went. Maybe she did just need to give him space.
She had wandered back through camp before heading back into the forest on the other side. She walked around for what must have been twenty-five minutes before she finally stopped and began to look around.
She really felt like if she was going to find Doug and Lefty, she really needed to use her head and focus on that instead of worrying about everything else. So she stood there thinking about somewhat obvious hiding spots that maybe the others would think were too obvious so they wouldn't even bother checking them.
Her mind instantly landed on the cave towards the back of the island. It was obvious, but she figured it may at least be worth checking, so that's where she headed.
She walked towards the cave unaware that she was being tailed. Not only by the "hunter", but Adrian had also decided to catch back up to her. After getting her away from Carson, he wanted to see if maybe she could help lead him to Doug.
After several more minutes of walking, she finally reached the cave. She stopped, standing right outside of it, staring in. She honestly didn't know exactly how deep it went, but she knew she needed to check it. She sighed before finally walking in.
Adrian had stopped a little further away, watching as she entered. "Hmm..." he hummed to himself, before once again continuing after her.
"The Hunter" was the next to arrive. They didn't even stop before following the two competitors in.
(Confessional -Carly)
Carly sat in front of the camera with a frown on her face. She stayed silent for several seconds before she finally decided to speak.
"There's a lot going on. That's obvious. But maybe if I try to focus on the challenge I can at least get my mind off of it for a little while." She started. "And the cave may be a good place to start..." She continued, before shaking her head.
(Confessional End)
Carly walked for several minutes deeper and deeper into the cave, not really taking notice of anything out of place. But just as she was about to call it quits and turn back, she heard an echoed laugh in the distance. It was a very distinctive laugh, too. It was Lefty's laugh.
Carly slowly began to continue her way through the cave, the laughter only becoming louder as she did. She eventually finally reached where she needed to be. She slowed to a stop, ducking behind a larger rock. She peaked over and saw Doug hanging upside down from the ceiling, and Lefty pacing back and forth, murmuring to himself. She honestly wasn't really sure what to make of the scene.
Her next step was figuring out what to do. She knew she wasn't going to be able to just run in and help Doug, not with Lefty guarding him.
As she kneeled behind the rock trying to come up with a plan, Adrian had snuck up not too far behind her. A smirk once again formed on his face when he realized that she had led him right to Doug. He didn't know what she was trying to come up with, but he had a plan of his own.
He looked up towards the rope keeping Doug dangling from the ceiling. It didn't look that secure. Almost like, if someone messed with it it enough, it may break, and if Doug fell the right way, he would land right on top of Lefty.
Adrian looked around on the ground behind him, smiling when he spotted a somewhat sharp rock laying there. It was risky, and he only had one chance, but it was a chance he had to take.
He moved in a little closer so he could try to get a better aim at the rope. After, he waited until Lefty walked a little bit closer towards Doug, and just as he was about to take his shot, he heard someone approaching behind him. He quickly turned around and saw the mystery hunter standing there. He fired a dart, but Adrian was quick enough to dodge it.
The dart flew right past him and nailed the rope keeping Doug held up. The rope snapped and Doug dropped towards the ground, falling right on top of Lefty. This surprised Carly, getting her to quickly turn around. That's when she saw the scene unfolding behind her.
Lefty groggily tried to shake off the dizziness. He pushed himself up to his paws and knees, looking up towards the entrance. Thats when he saw the three intruders. A frown was quick to take over his face.
"Not alone... you ruined it!" He exclaimed as he climbed to his feet. The hunter shot another dart towards Adrian, but the wolf once again ducked. This time the dart hit Lefty, who at this point was quickly approaching them. It slowed the bear down, but it didn't stop him.
Lefty quickly approached Carly, who ducked and rolled away from him. As he tried to catch her, Adrian ran towards the hunter to try and get his dart gun away from him. The two put on a struggle match, trying to pry it out of the other's hands. As they did, another dart was fired. It flew and bounced off of a nearby wall, before finding its way over towards Lefty and hitting him in the shoulder.
This one seemed to do some damage, as at this point, Lefty really began to slow down. That's when he decided to run. He groggily headed deeper into the cave leaving Adrian and the hunter to fight over the dart gun, and Carly trying to figure out how to get Doug out of there.
Carly raced over to Doug, who seemed to be almost out of it at this point. She knew that he was going to be too heavy for her to carry, so she had to come up with another idea.
She deciding on grabbing his arm and doing her best to try to pull him to his feet. She was going to try to loop his arm over her shoulder and walk him out like that. But as she was doing that, she felt a slight sting in her leg. She looked down and saw a dart sticking out of it. She then looked back and saw Adrian and the hunter still fighter over the gun. In their continued struggle, they had fired another stray dart, this one hitting Carly.
She did her best not to drop Doug as she fell down to her knees, after which, she slumped down to the floor, quickly feeing the effects of the tranquilizer.
After the continued struggle, Adrian managed to shove the hunter backwards and against the cave wall. The gun fell down to the ground and slid a few feet away. As the hunter sat there dazed, Adrian ran over to Doug. Victory was almost his.
He looked down at Doug, a smirk on his face, before looking over at Carly, who also lay out of it on the ground. He grabbed Doug and hoisted him up over his shoulder. He turned and was ready to run back towards the entrance when he stopped. He looked back down towards Carly, before letting out a loud groan.
He leaned down and grabbed her too, hoisting her up over his other shoulder. It took him a minute to get used to the combined weight of the two competitors, but he eventually took off running back towards the entrance. As he ran past, the hunter quickly began to try and scramble to get his gun, before climbing back towards his feet and rush after Adrian.
(Outside the cave)
Freddy had finally run up on the cave. He looked around for several seconds, before deciding maybe he should check it. Just as he was about to enter, he heard something inside.
"Huh?" He huh'd trying to get a look inside. That's when Adrian came rushing out with Carly and Doug on his shoulders. He tossed Carly into the bear's arms, barely even stopping to do so, before continuing on his way down the trail and back towards camp.
Freddy looked down at Carly, noticing the dart in her leg, before looking back up just as the hunter ran out of the cave, running right past the bear, headed after Adrian. Freddy was greatly confused by this.
(With Adrian)
Adrian had been racing down the trail as fast as he could go with Doug on his shoulders. He had seen a couple of darts fly past him at this point, so he knew the hunter was on him.
As he continued running, he ran right past Brent and Cheek, who had made their way out of the forest and onto the trail. They were somewhat caught off guard by this, but they did see Doug on his shoulders. They went wide eyed when they did, and immediately started chase.
As they ran, another dart was fired towards Adrian. But even though it didn't hit him, it hit someone. Brent got hit in the back of the shoulder letting out a grunt before slowing to a stop. He dropped down to his knees forcing Cheek to stop and check on him. Only then did she see the dart sticking out of his shoulder.
"Brent!" She exclaimed. As she did, the hunter ran past, ignoring her.
"G-go... get..." Was all Brent managed to say before finally collapsing to the ground. Cheek was torn here. She didn't want to leave him, but she also knew that he wouldn't want her to throw the challenge just to stay with him. She looked back down the trail, before looking back towards her out of it boyfriend.
"I-I'm sorry." She said, before getting up and continuing her run after Adrian.
And after all of that, Adrian finally saw camp. He raced off the trail and back into camp, another dart being fired at him as he did. But it wasn't enough, he made it over towards Marionette and Jackson, before tiredly dropping to his knees and laying Doug on the ground.
"And we have our rescuer!" Marionette exclaimed, motioning down towards Adrian. Even though he was tired, a smirk still formed on his face. The hunter ran up next, slowing to a stop as he did.
"Looks like you weren't fast enough, amigo. Take up better aim." Adrian said in a mocking tone as he looked towards the hunter.
Cheek was next to show up, immediately slowly down when she saw Adrian had already won the challenge. She stopped, putting her hands down on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. Not too long after her, Freddy showed up, still carrying Carly. "Aww man." He said after just losing the challenge.
"Carly?" He heard, getting him to look over, that's when he saw Carson quickly making his way over to them. As Freddy lowered her to the ground, an intern came walking up, pushing a cart with all the other tranquilized competitors on it. Marionette looked amused by this, Jackson did not.
"And with that, it looks like Adrian wins immunity for tonight's Bonfire Ceremony! I will see the rest of you there!" Marionette exclaimed. After, he looked over towards the hunter. "You can take that mask off now." He said. As he did, Freddy looked over towards the hunter as he removed his mask, shocked to see who was underneath it.
"Goldie...?" He said curiously.
"Hello, brother. Miss me?" He said.
"What are you doing here?" Freddy asked.
"He's my new assistant." Marionette replied, causing Goldie to shake his head,
"I've already told you, I'm not your assistant!" The bear exclaimed, causing Marionette to roll his eyes.
"Due to popularity amongst the viewers, the network wanted to bring Goldie back onto the show in a non-competitor capacity." Jackson answered, annoying Marionette. Freddy was just really surprised about this.
(Confessional -Cheek)
Cheek sat in front of the camera pretty disappointed.
"I'm glad Doug is okay, but I'm not glad that Adrian won the challenge. I feel like after Brent getting shot with tranquilizer, I should have won for him." She said.
(Switch to -Rebecca)
Rebecca sat in front of the camera, still pretty loopy from the tranquilizer dart.
"T-this is all... Katy's fault." She said, sounding very annoyed as she did.
(Switch to -Katy)
Katy sat in front of the camera just as loopy as Rebecca)
"If it wasn't f-for Rebecca... I wouldn't have gotten shot with a tranquilizer... I blame her." She said.
(Switch to -Roxy)
Roxy sat in front of the camera, still furious about being taken out of the challenge.
"I-I'm going to kill... that stupid bear." She said angrily.
(Switch to -Adrian)
Adrian sat in front of the camera with a victorious smirk on his face.
"Ahh, don't you just love the smell victory? I did exactly as I said I was going to: win today's challenge. Not having teammates to hold me back really makes a world of a difference." He said.
(Switch to -Randy)
Randy sat in front of the camera with his arms crossed and a frown on his face.
"That dumb yellow bear got lucky. He's lucky I don't take one of those tranquilizer darts and shove it up his-"
(Switch to -Carson)
Carson sat in front of the camera, staring down at the floor. He let out a sigh before saying anything.
"I heard Carly almost won the challenge. I wish she would have. I'm just glad she's okay though after with shot with a tranquilizer." He said.
(Switch to -Carly)
Carly sat in front of the camera still somewhat confused by everything.
"I-I almost had the challenge won. I felt a sting and blacked out. When I woke up, Freddy told me Adrian carried me out of the cave." She said. It seemed like she was still trying to process it.
(Switch to -Doug)
Doug sat in front of the camera, still pretty shaken up about what had happened.
As he sat there, he couldn't help think about the drawing on the cave wall. The one he could see at least. There were a couple of other ones scattered around too that he wasn't able to get a good look at.
(Switch to -Freddy)
Freddy sat in front of the camera still pretty confused and surprised about what had happened today.
"Okay, So, Doug being okay was the main concern. So I'm glad he is. But Goldie showing back up apparently due to fan popularity? I'm surprised." He said.
(Switch to -Brent)
Brent sat in front of the camera still feeling the effects of the tranquilizer dart.
"Hey, s-so I got shot with a tranquilizer and lost the challenge. It could be worse." He said
(Confessional End)
(At Bonfire Ceremony)
The remaining eleven competitors were currently sat around the Bonfire pit, some in better shape than others. The effects from the tranquilizer darts hadn't fully worn off yet, unfortunately for the ones that got hit. Eventually Marionette, Goldie, and Jackson walked up to get things started.
"Competitors, welcome! Glad you all could make it tonight. Even those of you who are still a little woozy from today's challenge." Marionette started, as he looked around at the competitors. None of them, especially the ones that got tranqued, looked amused by this. "Since it was an every competitor for themselves challenge, I only saw it fitting to have all of you participate in tonight's Bonfire Ceremony." He continued. "So, without further ado, I have ten breadsticks on this plate, if you do not receive a breadstick you must take the dreaded walk all the way down the Dock of Shame, where you will be given a free ride in the Cannon of Losers. Any questions?" He said curiously.
"Will you... get on with it?" The still somewhat loopy Roxy asked, still managing to sound really annoyed as she did.
"No questions? Okay!" Marionette exclaimed, ignoring Roxy completely. "So, since Adrian won today's challenge, he gets the first breadstick." He continued, tossing Adrian a breadstick as he did. Adrian caught it, a clear smirk on his face.
"Next up, since Doug was the kidnapee today, he's safe, too." Marionette said, before tossing the still shaken up Doug a breadstick.
"Freddy, Cheek, and Randy, the three of you are also safe." Marionette said before tossing the three competitors breadsticks.
"Uh... Roxy, Carson, Carly... and Rebecca." He called before tossing the four competitors breadsticks. Rebecca caught hers before throwing a mocking smirk over towards Katy.
Brent threw his arms out when he realized that there were now only two competitors without breadsticks, and he was one of them. "Oh, come on!"
"Katy you were the first one eliminated in the challenge today, and Brent... this is just comedy gold at this point. One of you is out!" Marionette exclaimed as he looked towards the two breadstick-less competitors.
(Dramatic Music Starts Playing)
Katy and Brent offered each other a quick glance, before looking back towards Marionette. Neither one of them really felt like they deserved to be there, but there they were.
(Music Gets More Dramatic)
Brent finally looked over at Cheek. Although she was worried too, she tried not to show it in favor of giving her nervous boyfriend a comforting smile instead.
Katy sat there staring ahead at the last breadstick. She couldn't be eliminated. Not now. Not after all of this. She couldn't even imagine leaving Rebecca here with Randy.
"And the final breadstick of the night goes to..." Marionette started, before stopping as he slowly moved the final breadstick back and forth between the two competitors.
They were both on the edge of their seats at this point. Brent had been here four times in a row now, was his luck finally over? And Katy, she couldn't let Rebecca win this. She just... couldn't.
"Hmm..." Marionette hummed as he finally slowed the breadstick to a stop in between the two competitors. This was it... who was going home?
Both competitors leaned forward as Marionette's clear enjoyment became even more obvious...
"...Brent." He finally called, before tossing the surprised Brent the final breadstick. "Katy, you're done." He continued.
(Elimination Music Starts Playing)
"WHAT?!" Katy exclaimed in shock, her eyes wide in surprise.
"HA!" Rebecca exclaimed happily as she looked towards the kangaroo.
Katy looked towards Randy, who was also surprised by this.
"Brent, no offense, but why her?" Randy asked, firstly looking towards Brent, before looking back at Marionette.
"Hey, she had the most votes." The host replied.
"Sucks to be her." Rebecca said, still clearly ecstatic by the kangaroo's elimination. This just angered Katy.
"Do you know what!" She exclaimed, getting Rebecca to slightly back up in her seat. "I don't care that I'm out! Do you know what I do care about though?! You constantly hitting on my boyfriend!!!" She snapped. This surprised everyone, including Randy.
"Boyfriend?" Rebecca said, clearly insulted by the use of that word.
"Yes! Boyfriend!" Katy replied, before grabbing Randy's shirt and pulling him forward into a kiss. This just surprised everyone further.
"Wow... they're together. Shocker." Roxy said sarcastically, as she sat with her arms crossed.
Once Katy finally let Randy out of the kiss, she grabbed ahold of his head and pulled him into a hug against her chest.
"You see him?! He's MINE! And if you don't back off, I'm going to pummel you into the ground!" She continued, leaving Rebecca sitting there somewhere between stunned, sad, and angry.
Randy was just at a loss of words. He didn't know what to say.
"Well, as hilarious as that was, Katy, the Cannon awaits!" Marionette said, his smile having remained on his face throughout that show that was just put on.
Katy just barley glanced his way, before quickly turning her glare back at Rebecca, who still hadn't said anything. She was glaring right back at the kangaroo.
She finally let go of Randy, allowing him to return to an upright position. His cheeks were slightly red in embarrassment of what had just happened. It was new to him because he never usually got embarrassed. He stared at the kangaroo, blinking a few times, still at a loss for words.
"I'm sorry, I know you didn't want to say anything. But if I'm leaving, it NEEDED to be said. I'm done with her flirting with you." Katy said. Randy continued to stare at her, he blinked a few times before he was finally fixing to say something.
"K-Katy, I-" was all he got to say before a couple of interns walked up at the behest of Marionette. They grabbed Katy's arms and began dragging her towards the dock.
"Hey! He was about to say something!" She exclaimed as she was dragged away. Randy flashed an annoyed glance in the direction of the host as he walked past.
"She was taking too long." He said, shrugging as he did.
Randy began to following him to the dock, leaving everyone else sitting in an awkward, stunned silence.
(At The Dock)
The interns had drug Katy down the dock before throwing her into the Cannon just as Marionette showed up.
"Katy! Any last words before your flight?" Marionette asked.
"Yeah! Rebecca! You're a stupid bi-AHHHH!!!" Katy began, before Marionette lit the fuse, blasting her out of the Cannon.
Randy had run up the dock just as she was blasted away. He stood there watching as she twinkled into a star in the horizon.
"That never gets old." Marionette said, before letting out a chuckle.
"And after another shocking elimination, what's next?" Marionette said curiously. "Will Adrian's plan to divide Carson and Carly work? Will Brent ever break his bottom two curse? And with Katy out of the picture, what's next for Randy and Rebecca?" He asked. "Find out all of these answers and more next time on Total... Drams... Fazbear... All-Stars!" He finished.
And that's it for chapter 12 and Katy! What a shocking turn of events, aye? Haha.
Hope you all enjoyed the chapter. I'm honestly pretty happy with it.
