A/N: Not sure how many more of these I'll write, but your comments/reviews have fueled me lol. Plus, I really do love thinking about them in this universe :)
Guest: Unfortunately I will not be writing about pregnant Santana. I cannot imagine her pregnant and frankly, it would be too chaotic LOL.

"Jesus freakin' Christ," Santana muttered, looking over the instruction manual.
It really should not be this hard. Putting together a children's bed really should not be this God dang hard. She looked between the graphic drawing and the physical parts on the floor before puffing out some air.
It was early morning and Santana had gotten up to receive a shipment from the department store. A few days ago, she was playing airplane with Joey and apparently between that and their many renditions of 'Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed', the dunkelberger had given out.
Santana ended up with a bump on her head from where she'd hit the wood. When she realized the damage, her and her son's mouths formed perfect Os until Joey bursted into a fit of giggles.
"You boke it Mami," he laughed.
Santana didn't even care about the throbbing pain on her forehead, she just wanted to salvage the situation by super glueing it all back together because Quinn wanted to save the furniture for the baby on the way. Luckily when Quinn came in from hearing all the ruckus, she was all too amused at Santana's expense, to be upset.
So here it was, Joey's new and improved Paw Patrol race car bed. Only it didn't come assembled. Santana grumbled trying to make sense of the step by step guide. Usually Quinn was the handyman of the two of them, but the blonde was still sleeping (their night-time activities from the evening prior had worn her out).
When they actually needed someone for repairs/installations around the house, they'd call Mike. Call it pride or whatever, but if Quinn found out Santana needed Mike's help to put together a toddler's bed, she'd never hear the end of it. Plus, she wanted it to be a surprise for Joey too. Their little boy spent the night with Santana's parents and she wanted to have it put together and ready for him when he came back in the afternoon.
The Latina squinted her eyes at the build time listed at 20 minutes on the top of the page. It was mocking her. Finally, she pulled out her phone and Youtube'd it like a real millennial mom.
A little while later… well... 45 minutes later, Santana stood over her work proudly. The vibrant red and blue race car bed was ready to be slept in. She snapped a picture and sent it to Mike, telling him she was more 'dad certified' than he was. She quickly cleaned up the remains and went into the kitchen to make breakfast.
Like clockwork, she sizzled a few strips of bacon on the pan and cut out fresh berries to be placed in oatmeal. The bacon part she'd been doing for years because her wife's an addict, but the oatmeal was new. Oats were apparently great for pregnant women and it was also Quinn's new breakfast craving now that she was going into the second trimester.
Santana sipped on her coffee and looked out into their backyard while she waited for the stove to do its job.
If you told her this was going to be her life 10 years ago, she probably would have gone all Lima Heights. Santana Lopez intentionally waking up well before noon to cook for Quinn Fabray? On top of which, her wife and soon to be mother of her two children, Quinn Fabray? Blasphemy.
Truth be told, Santana was scared shitless when Quinn first came to visit following their 'two-time thing'. It was a five-time thing by the time they checked out of that hotel room, not that it mattered anyway. Santana always recognized how beautiful Quinn was, like no duh. But since that night, her feelings for her frenemy became an intense yearning that she hadn't even felt with Brittany.
Finally, Quinn was fed up and pointed out that she was being distant the whole weekend. The blonde was frustrated from getting the cold shoulder and bordering on slapping some sense into her. Then led to the Latina exasperatedly confessing her feelings in the middle of Central Park. Brown eyes darted everywhere to avoid Quinn's stunned expression until Quinn pulled her into a tight embrace, whispering that she'd felt the same way.
Santana smiled at the memory. Because they took that leap of faith, here they were. 10 years together. Five years married with 1.5 kids, living on a cul de sac in the New York suburbs.
She didn't think it was possible to feel this happy. She had spent the majority of high school walking around so mad at the world, fighting with herself… and now… it was the opposite. Her whole being was filled with insurmountable love and appreciation. It was almost overwhelming.
God she loved her family so much.
She let out a shaky breath and blinked away a happy tear as she turned off the stove and placed the breakfast on a tray. She quietly entered the master bedroom and set the tray down on the nightstand, before slipping under the covers to cuddle her wife.
Quinn was sprawled out on her side in the middle of the bed. Santana brushed her blonde mane back and placed a gentle kiss on her head before sighing contently.
Quinn stirred and peaked one eye open with a lazy smile. "Good morning."
"Good morning baby," Santana whispered, caressing her cheek.
Quinn cuddled further into Santana's warmth and was comfortable in that position until she smelled something glorious.
"Is that bacon?"
Santana laughed lightly and reached over to set the tray down on her lap as Quinn sat up. Quinn beamed at the sight and started eating her breakfast. Santana just leaned back and watched.
"I love you," Quinn mumbled between bites.
"Oh you only love me because I brought you breakfast in bed?" Santana jested.
She finished her food and wiped her mouth before smiling gratefully. "I love you more because you brought me breakfast in bed."
Quinn cuddled back into Santana's side and rested her head into the crook of Santana's neck. Her hand reached down to trace circles on her wife's toned stomach.
Santana smiled and played with Quinn's hair. "I love you too, mamas. So much."
The blonde sighed and kissed her neck. "I'm glad we got married."
"Mhm, you're very lucky. I'm the hottest piece of ass you've ever seen."
Quinn bit into Santana's neck and smirked when her wife yelped.
