Arriving in Equestria

It has been a couple of months since the defeat of MaloMyotismon. Things has been quiet for the most part, except for some certain kids.

Tai and Matt were walking down the street talking among themselves.

"I'm sorry to hear that Sora broke up with you, Matt," Tai apologized.

"Don't worry about it, Tai. It wouldn't have worked out between us anyway. I totally respected her decision," Matt said.

"If you ever need someone to talk to you know where to-" Matt cut him off.

"Don't even try, Tai. My dad already tried it. TK and my mom tried it, too. And so did Gabumon," Matt said.

"Nuts," Tai said under his breath.

"It'll be some time before I get back to dating again," Matt said.

"If you say so," Tai said.

Meanwhile over to Sora's apartment, Yolei came on over to her place as soon as she heard about Matt and Sora.

"I'm sorry to hear you and Matt broke up, Sora. You two were a cute couple," Yolei said.

"Thank you, Yolei. I appreciate your sincerity," Sora said.

"Just how exactly did it happen? Did you break up with him, or did he break up with you?" Yolei asked.

"I broke up with him. It was wonderful after a while, but then we started drifting apart, and then I told him that we should start seeing other people. Matt took it pretty hard, but he understood," Sora said.

"At least he didn't throw a tantrum like Davis would have," Yolei said. Sora giggled.

"I think Matt is way too mature to do that," Sora stated.

"I know. I'm just imagining how he would take it if Davis was dumped by Kari," Yolei said. Sora giggled again, knowing how right she was. It was obvious to her (and everyone else) that Davis has a crush on Kari.

Speaking of which, Davis dressed up in a suit and has hair combed. and he took a bouquet of pink carnations.

"Flowers, check. Hair, check. Bodily odor," Davis said, taking a whiff on himself. "Check! Breath!" He exhaled some of his breath into his hands and sniffed. "Minty fresh! I'm all set!"

"All set for what?" Veemon asked, stepping in.

"Veemon, today is the day that I ask Kari out on a date," Davis said.

"You think she's going to say yes to you, Davis? You remember that you chickened out the last time," Veemon said.

"That was last week, and I didn't think it was the best time for that, but this time it's going to be different," Davis said. "I mean saving the world is one thing, so asking out a cute girl out on a date should be a piece of cake."

"That's what you keep saying," a girl's voice spoke. Davis and Veemon turned to see his older sister Jun standing at the door. "Ever since you saved the world, you've been talking big, and the only thing you couldn't even do is ask a girl out on a date."

"Hey, what do you know, Jun?" Davis asked.

"I know better than you! I can see that you got all dressed up for the occassion. Are you preparing for your own funeral? You're not going to kill yourself after Kari rejects you, are you?" Jun asked.

"Hey, shut up! I'm not going to kill myself!" Davis asked.

"Well, whatever happens just don't go and kill yourself," Jun said.

"Why don't you mind your own business!" Davis took off to the door. Jun and Veemon both sighed heavily.

"So, Veemon, how much do you wanna bet that Kari turns him down and he gets all mopey about it?" Jun asked.

"What do you got?" Veemon asked,

"Just my turn with the dishes, and so on for the next six months," Jun said. "If I win the bet, then you'll be doing them for the next six months."

"If I win, then you're going to take me to the store and buy me lots of candy whenever I want," Veemon said.

"Do we have a deal?" Jun asked.

"Deal," Veemon said, shaking her hand and sealing the deal.

Meanwhile over to Joe and Gomamon, Joe sat and studied up to being a doctor while Gomamon was taking a nap. Over to Mimi, she was staying in a hotel for her visit to her friends along with Palmon. Ken was sitting in his room with Wormmon, sharing some of snacks with him. Cody was practing his kendo along with his grandfather. Izzy was typing some data into his laptop when he saw some sort anomaly.

"What the?" Izzy asked. Tentomon went over to Izzy.

"What's wrong, Izzy?" Tentomon asked.

"I'm not even sure to be honest. I'm picking up some sort of strange enery reading. You wouldn't know anything about it, would you?" Izzy asked.

"This isn't anything I have ever seen before, Izzy. You think the others should know about this?" Tentomon asked.

"I was going to suggest that anyway," Izzy said.

Meanwhile over to Davis, he made his way over to the park to find Kari. He eventually spots her sitting on a bench.

"There she is!" Davis said happily. He was heading right towards Kari, ready to confess his love for her and to ask her out on a date. He walked right up to Kari sitting on the bench. "Hi Kari." Kari turned to see Davis.

"Hello, Davis. You look nice," Kari said.

"Thanks. There's a reason I came here today, Kari. There's something I want to say to you here and now," Davis said. He cleared his throat. "Kari, from the moment I met you, I knew there was something special about you, even before I knew about the Digital World and the Digimon. You're more special to me than any other girl I have ever known, so will you do me the honor of becoming my girlfriend?" He held out the flowers in front of her. Kari was stunned to hear Davis's sudden confession of love.

"Wow, Davis, I am touched, I really am. But the thing is, I-" Kari said before Davis cuts her off.

"Say no more! I have made some dinner plans! Dinner for two at Burger World! It just opened up just last week and I want us to try it out! Just say yes!" Davis said. Kari sighed.

"I appreciate your offer, but the thing is, I already have a boyfriend," Kari said. Davis's heart sank when Kari said that right into his face.

"Boyfriend?" Davis repeated in dismay.

"Yes. He's someone you know; as in, someone in our class," Kari said.

"Who?" Kari asked.

"Hey, Kari!" TK called out. Davis turned to see TK coming towards them. "Sorry that I'm late. When I told my mom that we were going out, she just couldn't believe it. So Patamon is trying to calm her down." He sees Davis. "Hey, Davis, you came back from a wedding?" Davis didn't answer as he just looked right at TK. He looked right at his crush.

"You're dating TK?" Davis asked.

"Yes. TK and I confessed to each other and we started dating each other," Kari explained. Davis's heart shatter and then the pieces sinks down as he dropped the bouquet and stood up.

"That's great! Really great! If you excuse me, I'll be heading home now. I'll see you later!" Davis said, taking off. TK and Kari blinked twice as they looked at each other.

"What's with him?" TK asked. Kari sighed, feeling sorry for Davis.

"Davis had just confessed his feelings for me and I think I broke his heart. I feel awful," Kari said.

"Don't say that, Kari. We both knew he was going to find out sooner or later," TK said.

"I know, but still," Kari paused.

"We'll have to break it to him delicately," TK said.

"TK!" A familiar voice called out. It turns out to be Patamon, flying to his partner and new girlfriend.

"Patamon, what are you doing here?" TK asked.

"Izzy called and your mom sent me to look for you! Izzy said there's something important he wants to say to everyone!" Patamon said.

"We should head on over there right now!" TK said.

"I'll go back home and get Gatomon," Kari said.

"Okay. Patamon and I will meet you at Izzy's," TK said.

"Right!" Kari said.

Davis got back home and the first thing he did was head for the bathroom and washed all the gel out of hair and then changed into his regular clothes.

"Man, I can't believe I got all dressed up for nothing," Davis groaned.

"Davis!" Veemon shouted. He opened the bathroom door. "Davis, Izzy just called and he wants us to come on over now!"

"What does he want?" Davis asked.

"He said that it's important," Veemon said.

"Right," Davis said.

Davis and Veemon both stepped out of the apartment.

"Veemon, don't forget about the deal!" Jun called out. It was too late, because they were already gone.

It didn't take long until the rest of the DigiDestined and their Digimon partners got the call, so they make it over to Izzy's house as soon as possible. Matt and Sora were feeling awkward in seeing each other so soon after their break up, but they promised each other to be good friends and respect each other's desicions. The rest of the DigiDestined all made it over to Izzy's house to listen what he had to say to them.

"Okay, Izzy, we're all here, just what's so important that we had to drop everything we're doing to get here?" Tai asked.

"I have made a startling discovery. For a while now, I have been picking up some kind of strange energy reading," Izzy said.

"A strange energy reading?" Ken asked.

"Yes. Ever since we destroyed Control Spires from around the world, I have been updating my computer just so we can detect energy that will alert us just in case Digimon start appearing again," Izzy explained.

"That's good thinking, Izzy. Always thinking ahead the rest of us," Joe said.

"Is it an evil Digimon crossing into the real world again?" Yolei asked.

"I don't know honestly. The enrgy I've been picking up isn't anything like a Digimon, so that's why I called you all here," Izzy said.

"If it's not a Digimon, then what exactly are we dealing with?" Matt asked.

"Especially when we don't even know what we're looking for," Joe said.

"The only way we're going to find out if we go and find it for ourselves," Sora said.

"Okay, let's get to it. We'll use Izzy's house for our base and we can report back when we find something," Tai said.

"Yeah, and maybe Izzy's mom might have some donuts for us," Davis said.

"Yeah, donuts!" Veemon said.

With that said, the DigiDestined and their Digimon all went around to find the strange energy Izzy was detecting.

The DigiDestined searched as thoroughly as they could. Davis, TK, Kari, Yolei, Cody, Ken, and their Digimon all met at the park.

"You guys get anything?" Davis asked.

"Anything at all?" Veemon added.

"We got nothing," Ken said.

"A whole lot of nothing," Wormmon said.

"We've been searching for hours and so far we got nothing," Yolei said.

"We didn't even see a single Pagumon," Hawkmon said.

"Joe was probably right when he said we don't know what we're looking even looking for," Cody said.

"We can be searching until we all have gray hair, and still come out empty," TK said.

"It would just be too easy to find it. It's not like it's just going to show up when we want it to," Yolei said. Just then a surge of energy surrounds the six DigiDestined and the Digimon, making them disappear. The DigiDestined and the Digimon all make a landing out on a field.

"What was that?" Armadillomon asked.

"I don't know, but I don't think I want to go through that again," Wormmon said.

"I feel like a Digimon that was controlled by a Dark Ring," Gatomon said.

"I feel like I was struck by a Black Gear," Patamon said. Veemon looked around.

"Wait, where are Davis and the others?" Veemon asked.

"You don't think they're gone forever, do you?" Armadillomon asked.

"I certainly hope not," Hawkmon said.

We take a look through Davis's POV, as he wakes up with a groan.

"Man, my head. What just happened?" Davis asked. He saw the Digimon and went up to them. "Hey! Veemon!" Veemon and the other Digimon turned to him and they all had dumbfounded looks on their faces.

"Davis, is that you?" Veemon asked.

"Of course it's me! Who do you think it is?" Davis asked. He noticed the odd looks the Digimon were giving him. "Why are you looking at me funny?"

"It's just you look really different," Wormmon said.

"What do you mean different? I get a haircut or something?" Davis asked.

"Try looking at your hand," Veemon said.

"Okay, I don't know what you're trying to pro-" he paused when he saw that he has a dark blue hoof instead of a hand. "Huh?!" He yelled when he saw that he is a dark blue unicorn with his burgundy hair and saw he has a burgundy tail and he looked at saw that he has the Digi-Eggs of Courage, Friendship, and Miracles on his flank. "I have tattoos on my butt and I'm naked!"

"What's all the yelling?" Yolei asked, gaining consciousness. Davis saw the others all being ponies as well. Yolei is a red pony with her purple hair and has a purple tail. Yolei has the Digi-Eggs of Love and Sincerity on her flank. Cody is a small yellow pony with the Digi-Eggs of Knowledge and Reliability on his flank. TK is a green pegasus with the Crest of Hope on his flank as Kari is a light pink unicorn with the Crest of Light on her flank as Ken is a black pegasus with the Crest of Kindness on his flank. Davis looked right at the DigiDestined and they all looked right at Davis. "Huh? Davis, why are you looking at us weird?"

"Wait a minute! What happened to you?" TK asked.

"I should be asking that to you," Davis said, pointing at the DigiDestined. They looked at each other and they gasped in shock. They look right at themselves as well.

"Wha? We're ponies?" Cody asked.

"I don't believe this!" Kari said. She looked right at TK and blushed. TK was looking at his new wings and flapped them.

"Anyone here find this weird?" TK asked.

"I don't know, TK, but I think you're pretty cute," Kari said. TK blushed again. Ken saw that he has wings as well.

"Hm," Ken said.

"What is it, Ken?" Wormmon asked.

"It's just I think I'm having on idea on the situation here," Ken said. The rest all looked at him.

"Care to share, Ken?" TK asked.

"Sure. I looked at the each of you and at my self and saw that Davis and Kari are unicorns, while me and TK are pegasi, while Cody and Yolei are regular ponies," Ken said.

"Regular ponies?" Yolei asked. She took out a mirror and has a hard time holding it becuase of the hooves she has. She growled in frustration. "What's the deal with these hooves?!" They each took a look in the mirror and they were surprised to see the size of their eyes.

"What's the deal with our eyes?" Davis asked.

"And how come we're all naked?" Cody asked.

"Animals are naked, and our Digimon are all naked," Yolei said.

"It never occured to me. The question on my mind is this. Is there a way to transform you back from being ponies and right back to being humans again?" Gatomon asked.

"I hope there is. And I hope we find it soon," TK said.

"Maybe, we should check out that town down there," Davis said, looking at the town. The rest of the DigiDestined and the Digimon all looked to see the town in front of them.

"We could figure out where we are when we go have a look," Hawkmon said.

"I'm for looking around," Kari said.

With that said, the DigiDestined and the Digimon all walked down to the town and saw that it was filled with different kinds ponies, regular, unicorns, and pegasi. They were all different colors and they all had different marks on their flanks, just like the DigiDestined. They also saw some foals and saw that some of them didn't have any of the marks on their flanks.

Walking down the same road is a pink pony with a dark pink mane and tail. She has a mark that is three balloons, two of them are blue, and one of them is yellow. She stops in place to the six new ponies and Digimon.

"Um, hi," Davis greeted. The pink pony gave a gasp and dashed off.

"What did you do to make her run off like that?" Yolei asked in a hostile tone.

"Hey, don't point your hoof at me, Yolei! All I said was hi to her!" Davis said.

"At least she didn't attack us," TK said.

"Yeah, at least," Patamon said.

"She didn't seem hostile," Kari said.

"I wonder what got her in a tizzy," TK said.

"We better keep looking around and have a look," Ken said. Before they could keep going, they bumped right into a yellow pegasus. She has a pink mane and tail and has blue eyes and three blue butterflies with pink wings as her mark. The pegasus gasped.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bump into you," the pegasus said in atimd voice.

"It's okay. We just didn't see you," TK said. They looked right at the timid pegasus. "I'm TK. The girl here is Kari, while the other girl in the glasses is Yolei. The guy with the goggles is Davis, the small kid here is Cody, and this is Ken. What's your name?"

"I'm Fluttershy," the pegasus whispered.

"I didn't get that," TK asked.

"I said, it's Fluttershy," Fluttershy repeated.

"Fluttershy," Fluttershy whispered. The DigiDestined all had trouble hearing her. The DigiDestined blinked twice.

"Well, it was nice to meet you," TK said as Fluttershy squeaked softly. She looked through her mane as she sees the Digimon for the first time.

"Oh my goodness!" Fluttershy exclaimed happily and went up to the Digimon and hugged them tightly. "An armadillo, a caterpillar, a blue lizard, a bunny, a cat, and a hawk! They're so cute!"

"You hear that? She says we're cute," Veemon said.

"Oh my, they can talk? That is so wonderful. What are your names?" Fluttershy asked.

"I'm Veemon. Meet Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Patamon, Gatomon, and Wormmon," Veemon said.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Fluttershy," Fluttershy said.

"And I'm not a bunny," Patamon said.

"You kinda do look like one," Armadillomon joked. Patamon gave him a sour look. Fluttershy turned to the DigiDestined.

"Your pets are so adorable! I'm hoping that you can let me cuddle them, please?" Fluttershy asked. The DigiDestined saw that she was giving them a puppey-eye look.

"Okay," The DigiDestined all said.

Just then, a rainbow blur zoomed pass them.

"Whoa!" Davis yelped.

"What was that?" Ken asked.

"That was me," a new voice spoke. It bleonged to a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. She has a mark that looked like a cloud with a rainbow lightning bolt being red, yellow, and blue. "What did you think? Awesome, right?"

"And who are you?" Kari asked.

"The name's Rainbow Dash, only the fastest and most awesomest flyer in Equestria," Rainbow Dash introduced herself. The DigiDestined were dumbfounded by that they were in a strange new land called Equestria. "Anyway, I was looking for you, Fluttershy! I just got word that this year's Summer Sun Celebration is being here in Ponyville! Isn't that awesome! Princess Celestia is coming here!"

"Oh my! Then I'll have to practice with my birds!" Fluttershy said, taking off. She looked back at the Digimon. "I'm hoping to see you again soon!" Fluttershy kept going.

"She sure can move fast when she wants to," Cody said.

"But not as fast as me. Speaking of which, I'm off!" Rainbow Dash said, flying off at lightning speed.

"Fast is surely one way to go," TK said.

"What's the Summer Sun Celebration?" Veemon asked.

"No idea," Davis said.

"Maybe, we could find out about it," Yolei asked.

"Mommy, why is it called the Summer Sun Celebration?" A kid's voice spoke. It belonged to a filly. The DigiDestined decided to listen in on it to get the idea.

"You see, sweetheart, the Summer Sun Celebration is the holiday that celebrates the day that Princess Celestia defeated Nightmare Moon and banished her right into the moon. Ever since then, the princess raises both of the sun and the moon. And all that happened a thousand years ago," the mother said.

"That answers that," TK said.

"And that happened a thousand years ago?" Yolei asked.

"It sounds like a good holiday. Maybe we should stick around and see it for ourselves," Davis said.

"I find it hard to believe that a princess is able to raise the sun and moon," TK said.

"Well, if we're going to stay here, then we should find someplace to stay for a while," Ken suggested.

"That's a good idea. There's no telling what else could be here," Kari siad.

With that said, the DigiDestined and the Digimon went off to find a place to stay. Along the way, they came across a market. Among the market is an orange pony with a blonde mane and tail. She has both ends tied at the end. She has three apples on her flank and she wore a stetson hat.

"Howdy, y'all! Ah'm sure ya'll have a hankering for some red delicious apples!" The orange mare said. The stomachs of the ponies and Digimon all rumbled at once.

"Well, it has been a while since we had a meal," Davis said.

"Since this morning," Yolei said.

"Well now, how about some free samples. A little something from Sweet Apple Acres, curtisy of Applejack," the orange mare said, offering them some apples.

"Thanks, Applejack," Davis said.

Just then, a white unicorn with blue eyes and a purple mane and tail styled in an elegant twirl. She has a mark of three diamonds on her flank. The unicorn mare seems to be in a good mood.

"Howdy there, Rarity. Y'all look happier than a mouse in a cheese eating spree," Applejack said.

"Oh, Applejack! Mayor Mare has informed me that the Summer Sun Celebration is taking place in Ponyville this year! And I have been tasked with the directions!" Rarity said, letting out a happy squeal. "The princess is coming! Of the best things that could possible happen, this is the possibility the best!" She let's out a happy yell. She noticed the DigiDestined there. "Oh, forgive me, Applejack, I didn't realize you were tending to some customers."

"It's okay. There's nothing wrong with friends talking with each other," Kari said.

"Also, we're new in town, so we were wondering if you know a place we can stay at for a while," Cody said.

"Well now, darlings, I'll be happy to allow you to stay over in my place," Rarity offered.

"And Ah'm sure somepony has a place they'll be selling," Applejack said.

"Thank you, miss, but we don't want to be a bother to you," Ken said.

"Think nothing of it! And I shant take no for an answer," Rarity said. "And I am Rarity."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Davis. These are my friends, TK, Kari, Cody, Yolei, Ken, and these are Veemon, Armadillomon, Hawkmon, Patamon, Gatomon, and Wormmon," Davis said. Rarity looked at the Digimon oddly.

"What in the tarnation are they?" Applejack asked.

"Hm, they seem to be adorable," Rarity said. "I can imagine how Fluttershy would react when she sees them."

"We actually met Fluttershy and she was really happy to meet them," TK said.

"That sounds like our Fluttershy. She always had a weakness for animals," Applejack said.

"Now, come along," Rarity said. The DigiDestined and the Digimon all followed the white unicorn to her home which looks like a carosuel.

"Is that your home?" Yolei asked.

"Indeed it is. It's not just my house, but it's also my shop. It is called Carousel Boutique, where everything is chic, unique, and magnique!" Rarity proudly announced to her guests. She opened the door by using her magic, which is a blue aura. Kari and Davis wonder if they could do that. They saw all sorts of fashionale dresses. Some of the dresses were all on mannequins all shaped like ponies. There were also suits that are meant for stallions.

"This is an impressive store. Just where did you get all of these clothes?" Yolei asked.

"I made them; hoofstiched as it were," Rarity said.

"I am impressed! I feel like I died and gone to heaven!" Yolei bemaed. Rarity glanced at each one of the DigiDestined. She took out her measuring tape, notepad, and her pen. "I hope you don't mind, but I would like to take your measurements." The DigiDestined wonder what she meant when she wrote down their exact measurements. "I think that's everything."

"What was that for?" Cody asked.

"Oh, forgive me, darling, but I was just checking your measurements so I can make each one of you something nice to wear," Rarity said.

"Um, just how much is that going to cost us to pay for all of it?" Yolei asked.

"Oh goodness, put that money away, because you are first time customers, so the first outfits are always free," Rarity said.

"That's very generous of you, Rarity," Kari said.

"Think nothing of it, darlings. It may take some weeks until I get them done; that would be the case if it weren't for the Summer Sun Celebration," Rarity said.

"We're in no rush," Davis said.

Suddenly the pink pony form earlier busts right in.

"Rarity! There are new ponies in town!!" The pink pony exclaimed. She sees the DigiDestined and the Digimon in the store and waved at them. "Hello!"

"Hey, you're that pink pony from before!" Davis said.

"Oh when I went all," gasp, "because I never seen you before, and I know everypony, and I do mean EVERYPONY! I never seen you before, so I went around Ponyville to tell everypony that there are new ponies in town,a nd also I never seen any of you before! And since I never seen you before, that means you're new! Are you, huh, huh, huh?" The pink pony asked.

"Um, yeah, we're new," Davis said.

"I knew it! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it! My name's Pinkie Pie, what are your names?" Pinkie asked.

"Looks she she had more than her fill of sugar," Yolei said.

"I'm Daivs, and this is Veemon," Davis introduced.

"Hi," Veemon said.

"I'm Ken, and this is Wormmon," Ken said.

"Nice to meet you," Wormmon said.

"I'm Yolei, and this is Hawkmon," Yolei said.

"A pleasure," Hawkmon said.

"I'm Cody, and this is Armadillomon," Cody said.

"Hi there," Armadillomon said.

"I'm TK, and this is Patamon," TK said.

"Hello," Patamon said.

"And I'm Kari, and this is Gatomon," Kari said.

"Hey," Gatomon said.

"Nice to meet you!" Pinkie said, grabbing all of them into a great big hug. "This calls for a party since you're all new to Ponyville! That way you can make some new friends, and have fun, and eat cake, and drink punch!"

"I think we're going to need to breathe to do that," Ken wheezed. She lets go of the DigiDestined and the Digimon, letting them breathe.

"Sweet air," Yolei said.

"You're throwing us a party just because we're new in town?" TK asked.

"Uh huh!" Pinkie answered.

"You think there's going to be pizza there?" Davis asked. The DigiDestined all looked at him. "What?"

"We'll talk about that party," Ken said.

"Okie dokie lokie! I need to set up for the Summer Celebreation anywho! The princess will be here soon enough!" Pinkie Pie said. She started to trot off. "La-la-la-la-la-la-la-la!"

"What was that about?" Gatomon asked.

"I see you met Pinkie Pie," Rarity said. The DigiDestined and the Digimon all looked at her.

"I take it she's a friend of yours?" Hawkmon asked.

"Oh yes. Pinkie Pie is the party planner here in Ponyville. She is tend to throw a party for everypony she meets for the first time when they move to Ponyville. And I can assume that she's planning to make throw you all a welcome to Ponyville party soon," Rarity said.

The DigiDestined and Digimon knew it was going to be a while before the original DigiDestined finds them, and knew it wouldn't be long until they notice that they're missing.

Speaking of which back in Odaiba, the original DigiDestined all met up with each other.

"Anything?" Tai asked.

"Nothing," all the others said.

"Figures," Tai said. He sighed. "Thought it would be too easy." He looked around for the younger DigiDestined. "Hey, where are Kari and the others?"

"Don't know. We haven't heard from since we started investigating," Izzy said.

"We should try to check up on them as soon as we can," Sora said.

"I agree. It's not like them to let this happen," Izzy said. He tried to make contact with them through their D-Terminals, but they had no luck. "Odd! I can't get through!"
