AN: As I told you in the previous chapter, things will get more serious and interesting from now on. So get ready because the big stuff is about to come.
In one place, somewhere in the world, there was a room where several soldiers stood, all wearing a uniform that bore a symbol of a human skull with tentacles.
Not only was the room filled with soldiers, but also with some of the greatest villains that world had ever seen. Abomination, Arnim Zola, Baron Zemo, Attuma, Baron Strucker, Crimson Dynamo, Crimson Widow, Crossbones, Erik Killmonger, Grim Reaper, Hyperion, Justin Hammer, Leader, Taskmaster.
They were all in the same room and it was clear that something very bad was happening. The question was...what.
"Well, can any of you tell me what exactly we're doing here?" asked Baron Zemo.
"There must be a reason why they've summoned all of us." said Erik Killmonger.
"It had better be important. I have more important things to do." said Justin.
"Like what? Wait for Stark to invent something new so you can steal it from him or copy it to make it 'better'?" asked Killmonger.
"I'm a thousand times better than Tony Stark!" said Justin not liking the African villain's insinuation.
"Right. For that reason, he and his little buddies kicked your ass a few times." said Hyperion with a small laugh.
"Says the superhero who couldn't defeat them." said Abomination with a toothy grin.
"Watch your words, you filthy beast!" replied Hyperion at the gamma mutant's insult.
"You want a fight? I was looking for a punching bag to practice with." said Abomination.
"If there is to be a fight, then I will participate to demonstrate the strength of Atlantis." said Attuma readying his trident.
BANG
A pistol shot stopped what could have been a fight between villains. Everyone turned their gaze toward Crossbones, who had a pistol pointed upward.
"Enough is enough! If we're all here, it's not to fight each other!" said Crossbones.
"That's right. Later you can kill each other if you want, but for now we'll wait to get more information." said Taskmaster, getting the three villains to calm down and return to their positions.
"How long before he shows up?" asked Crimson Widow to the cybernetic man.
"It shouldn't be long before he shows up." said Arnim Zola.
Just as he said that everyone heard footsteps from the front of the entire army. A pair of lights came on to reveal Johann Schmidt, leader of Hydra, an evil organization whose goal is world domination. At one point, he injected himself with an incomplete version of the super soldier serum, which turned him into what he is now known as the Red Skull.
"Sorry for the delay. I had to take care of some business before I came." said Red Skull. "I'm glad to see you all here. Many of you may be wondering why I have summoned you here. I assure you that the reason will be of interest to you."
"It had better be." said a voice from around the corner.
Everyone turned their heads in that direction to see emerging from the shadows Victor Von Doom, aka Doctor Doom.
"I'm glad you came, Victor." said Red Skull.
"Just remember, Skull, if what you are about to say interests me, I will work with you, but not for you." said Doctor Doom very seriously.
"I'll keep that in mind, but I don't think you're in a hurry, your robot double is doing your job very well." said Red Skull.
"Then what did you bring us here for? I doubt it's for a villain convention." said Killmonger.
"I will proceed to explain. As many of you may know, there was a time when I sought the power of the infinity gems. I even got my hands on the space gem." began Red Skull.
"We remember that. Especially when you tried to betray us. How do we know you won't do it again?" asked Attuma pointing the trident at him.
"Because this time, it's a win-win for all of us. You can trust me or not after hearing what I have to say." said Red Skull.
A dead silence was signaled to indicate that he could continue.
"Well. During one of the many tests we conducted on the gem, in one of them, I decided to use the gem personally. As a result, I spent a couple of days traveling around different worlds, each one interesting in its own way, I even found a world that was quite similar to ours, but out of all the worlds I encountered on my little trip, there was one that totally caught my attention." said Red Skull.
"What kind of universe?" asked Baron Zemo.
"In that world, 80% of the human population was born with a special gene that gave them powers. There they call them Quirks. Because of the high population with powers, being a hero became an official profession. Licensed and all." said Red Skull.
"Tsk. Sounds like every kid's dream and every villain's nightmare." said Crimson Widow.
"Why would we be interested in a world that's practically full of heroes?" asked Justin.
"I was checking it out a bit and discovered that the powers of that world are lesser than what we have contemplated in this world. Put another way, the heroes of that world are beginners compared to ours." said Red Skull.
"Are you implying that we go to that world and attack it?" asked Arnim Zola.
"Not attack it, conquer it." said Red Skull. "Everything must be in balance, if there are heroes on that world, then there will also be villains. If we conquer that world, the villains of that world will join us, increasing our army and power. And you will be able to do whatever you want in that world, Victor. I'm sure you'll be interested in researching those Quirks I mentioned."
Dr. Doom was silent, but he had to admit he had a good point. In his world, people born with powers didn't awaken them unless it was under certain circumstances, but a world where almost everyone got them immediately was worthy of his interest.
"And how do you plan to get us to that world? You no longer have the infinity gem." said Baron Zemo.
"True, but in the last few weeks we've been experimenting with a device to generate portals. Days ago, I gave a couple of prototypes to some villains to test, and the result was interesting. Thanks to it, we've managed to create a portal big enough to carry a whole army." said Red Skull.
"What about the Avengers? Even if it's not another world, I doubt they'll stand idly by while we perform." said Hyperion.
"You need not worry. By the time they learn of our plans, that world will be under our feet and with the help of the villains of that world, no one, not even the Avengers or the X-Men or even all of them together, will be able to stop us." said Red Skull raising his fist in the air.
Immediately, all the soldiers present raised their fists upward as they shouted in jubilation and affirmation.
"So, I'll ask you, are you in or not? It's all right if you back out." said Red Skull.
The villains were silent, mentally debating whether or not to join in. Suddenly, Dr. Doom stepped forward.
"You have convinced me, Skull. I'll go with you to that other world, but I don't care about his conquest, I'm more interested in those Quirks you mentioned." said Doctor Doom.
"If he joins, then so do I." said Baron Zemo stepping forward.
"I will show the people of that world how a true hero should act." said Hyperion stepping forward.
The next instant, the other villains stepped forward in a sign that they were going to join the invasion of the other world.
"Good. Looks like you're all in." said Red Skull.
"When do we start the invasion?" asked Arnim Zola.
"Very soon. The only thing left is to prepare the troops and squads. Once we have everything ready, we will set course for that other world to make it ours." said Red Skull.
The soldiers again gave shouts of jubilation at their leader's speech.
Unbeknownst to anyone, there was a small fly-like camera attached to the ceiling, recording everything that happened and what they said.
In another part of the world, two people were watching and listening to what the camera was transmitting, which caused looks of horror and concern to form on their faces.
"This is not good." said the first person who sounded like a man.
"Yes. It's certainly a big problem." said the second person who sounded like a woman.
"We need to warn the others." said the man.
"Right away." said the woman before the two left the room to communicate the news.
Meanwhile, later in the Avengers' tower, the 12 A.U. students who accidentally ended up in that world were in the main room because F.R.I.D.A.Y. had informed them that the Avengers had something to report to them.
"What do you think they're going to tell us?" asked Momo.
"Maybe they'll congratulate us for helping the inhuman royal family." said Eijiro.
"I still can't believe you met the kings of the inhumans." said Ochaco.
"Well, I still believe that what you experienced was also amazing." said Izuku.
"Yeah, man, it's not every day you go to a spaceship to save some young inhumans from a military alien race." said Denki.
"In my opinion, you never get to be bored in this world." said Tsuyu.
At that moment, the Avengers came through the door.
"Before we inform you of the reason for this meeting, we would like to thank you for everything you have done so far." said Captain America.
"You have certainly proven yourselves to be great heroes." said Thor.
"Thank you very much for your words!" exclaimed Tenya bowing several times in a quick manner.
"So, why did you call us?" asked Kyoka.
"We have good news and bad news." began Falcon. "The good news is that we have found a way for you to return to your world."
At that, the students burst into shouts of joy. At last, after many days of waiting, they could had received the news they had long wanted to hear.
"Really, can we really go home?" asked Mei joyfully.
"Yes. My friend recently informed me that he has found the coordinates of your world, so you will be able to return shortly." said Iron Man.
"What a joy! We can finally go back to our families and friends!" said Ochaco with small tears of joy.
"I would have liked to learn more about this world, but I guess I missed ours too." said Izuku.
"Wait a minute." said Shoto drawing everyone's attention. "You said there was bad news too, what is it?"
At that question, the Avengers' face became very serious, worrying the students a little.
"Yes, that's right. We recently found out who was responsible for giving those villains the device that brought them to your world." said Iron Man.
"Who?" asked Shoto.
"Hydra." said the Hulk.
"Hydra? What is that?" asked Momo.
"A terrorist organization created during World War II as an ally of the Nazis. Despite the outcome of the war, it has been existing until today with the sole aim of world domination." said Captain America having his experience with that organization.
"But why would an evil organization want to hand those things over to those villains?" asked Izuku.
"Days ago, Clint and I had a mission where we faced a few Hydra soldiers." said Black Widow.
"One of them managed to escape, but before he could, I placed a small camera on him so we could find out what he was up to. And we just found out." said Hawkeye.
"It turns out that their leader, Red Skull, knows of your world's existence and is planning to bring an army of Hydra, as well as several of our enemies to your world to conquer it." said Thor.
The students couldn't help but be shocked at that revelation.
"Your villains want to attack our world?!" shouted Mina in shock.
"T-That's bad." said Tsuyu in horror.
"Then we have to return to our world as soon as possible! We must warn the professional heroes to get ready!" said Tenya.
"True. Our villains are powerful, but due to our experience, we can say that the villains of this world are better than ours. Not to mention the element of surprise." said Shoto.
"Don't worry. According to intel, we have time until Hydra launches its attack." said Black Widow.
"Besides, you're not going to your world alone." said Falcon.
"Since they are our villains, we will accompany you to help your heroes deal with this threat." said Captain America.
"Especially since you need someone who can confirm your disappearances." said Iron Man.
The students, on the one hand, were happy to return to their world, but on the other hand, they were worried to learn that an army of villains from that world was planning to attack theirs. Still, they were a little more reassured to learn that the Avengers, the mightiest heroes of Earth, would go with them to help the heroes of their world fight those villains.
