Angel's Light
Chapter 16
AN: Hello all, welcome back. Firstly as always thank you to everyone who reviewed the last chapter or added the fic to your favorites or alert lists. The chapter is a bit shorter than usual for me but I felt it was a good place to stop. Also for those who question the lack of action so far it's because it's all revolving around Harry and things don't start happening with him until Halloween so everything was building up to it as a set up. Thankfully I'm just about done with the world building now and while there are still characters that will be introduced its not anything that needs to be done now.
As for the harem right now I have three people who are definitely in it. I'm debating Fleur and Wanda, the latter of which I would need to make younger and as such not the MCU version. I also don't want a large harem as I'd lose track of characters that way. Also debating if I should but Natasha with Steve or Thor, I'm leading towards Thor. Anyway with that said here is the new chapter.
Start Now:
Quidditch, it was the most popular sport in the entirety of the Wizarding World, while there were other sports such as broom racing, quadpot and even dueling none were as popular. Of the lot of them Quidditch was the only sport that was played worldwide with leagues in every nation and a national teams for a world tournament. In step with its popularity were its fans many of whom were dedicated and passionate about both the sport and their teams.
At Hogwarts this was no different with the exception that the energy was directed towards the house teams and as such many considered the true start of the year as the day of the first game. Such had been as true in the past as it was today with the stands surrounding the school's pitch crowded with students, parents, alumni and regular quidditch fans who after the tournament at the end of the previous year were eager for more.
In his booth overlooking both the pitch and the stands Lee Jordan took it all in with a smile. Like many of his peers the 5th year Gryffindor had a love of the sport and while he couldn't play as well as others he also had a love for calling the action. The booth as such was his domain though it had seen a bit of a change while he'd been gone. For starters it was bigger which made sense as before it had just been him and McGonagall, who as headmistress was no longer sharing his space. Now it was Professor Flitwick as well as representatives from both the Daily Prophet, Seeker Weekly and a tech guy from the Wizarding Wireless.
He had a new microphone that he'd instantly fallen in love with that was connected to speakers hidden all over the arena in place of the Sonorous Charm he'd previously used that would also feed into a connection on the Wizarding Wireless. Finally there was his chair which while many wouldn't consider it important he did as he was the one that would be sitting in it for hours at a time. Instead of the old wooden student chair, he now had a leather chair that was black with red and gold trimming with the Gryffindor crest on the head rest and his name on the back with a cup holster and a place for his wand. It had been a gift from Professor McGonagall with a simple note stating to do her and the pride proud.
He'd been leaning back quite comfortably before Professor Flitwick caught his attention and pointed out the time and as such bringing his excitement back up. Taking a breath he exhaled and flipped the switch to activate the microphone before doing the same to the wireless connection. He waited a few moments before the guy from the wizarding wireless gave him the go signal and he began
"Ladies and gentlemen students, teachers and fans welcome to Hogwarts Academy. Today is the opening day of our Inter-House Quidditch season! For today's match we will see the Snakes of Slytherin taking on our reigning, defending, undisputed Quidditch Cup Champions the Lions of Gryffindor!"
At his declaration there was a deafening crowd that even surprised him with how loud it was. Looking to Professor Flitwick saw he was equally surprised though he was soon grinning once more as were everyone else in the booth.
"Now then due to popular demand we have continued with the rule changes begun during last year's tournament though with a few changes. Firstly the time limit had been extended to three hours not counting any time outs that may be called. Second due to this time limit each team is limited to only two time-outs to last 120 seconds. The referee can also call a timeout in case of emergency. During the course of a time out a team can make any substitution they deem needed injury or no." said Lee reading off a list and imagining the grumbling of some fans both listening at home or in attendance.
"As a warning I'll say get used to the rule changes because they'll also apply to the school vs school games that will be played this year with schedules appearing in the Daily Prophet, Seeker Weekly and the Quibbler on their next release dates. Now that the boring stuff is out of the way let's talk teams."
From her position in the stands Piper Halliwell took it all in and couldn't help but smile as the positive energy played effect on her. Still she didn't know how all of these people could have so much energy considering how hard it was raining but it was plain to see from her position under one of the rather large tents. She was sitting in the Gryffindor section of the stands alongside the rest of her family.
The only ones not present were the boys who she felt were still too young to be there and were currently in Magic School at the daycare. Her sisters were all sharing the row with her and the men including her father were sitting in the row behind them. Joining them was Billie Jenkins who Paige had once again taken under her wing though she was sitting beside Prue who ever the protector acted as a barrier between them and Billie.
Their section had many other people including Sirius and the Black sisters Andromeda and Narcissa. She would admit if only to herself that she was slightly envious of the sisters as after they'd been brought back into the Black Family their features had slowly changed as youth and vitality came to them gifting them the appearance of people in their late twenties or early thirties with the features of the House of Black clearly showing themselves. Considering Narcissa the youngest of the sisters was closer to her forties than her late twenties she felt she could be allowed her envy.
Aside from them had come Frank, Alice and Augusta Longbottom, Amelia Bones, Arthur, Molly Weasley and even Thor in his James Potter form along with a host of others had shown up. They had arrived early where they could be properly introduced to the staff but had since arriving been introduced to many more people who'd come specifically because they'd learned James Potter was there.
Many of those who had approached had been old friends, schoolmates, colleagues, or friends of his parents. He had taken the form of Thor more than a few times though this was for those who hadn't believed that James Potter and Thor were actually one and the same. Eventually the visitors had stopped coming which had allowed them all to relax and allowed James, Sirius, and Remus to reminisce on their own time at Hogwarts and some of the things they had gotten up to.
"Honestly I'd have loved going to a school like this so much more than my high school."
It was only because she was sitting so close that Piper heard the words over the noise of the crowd and turned her attention to Billie who was currently talking to Tonks. Honestly why Andromeda had saddled her with a name like Nymphadora eluded her, but she felt for the younger girl though she was also glad that she and Billie were at least getting along well. Despite whatever lingering resentment she may have felt for the girl she knew having someone her own age to talk with would be a boon for the girl and hopefully keep her from making any other stupid decisions.
Inside of the locker room Harry found himself smiling as he eyed his teammates. The room was packed with both the regular and reserve teams in attendance. The reserves were all visibly nervous even if he doubted any of them would see any play time today while his own nerves had already faded and given way to excitement for the first game of the season.
"Alright people it's game time. Newbies watch and take notes not just on us but on them you can always learn something, you especially Ron as you'll be staring as Keeper next year. As for you lot I shouldn't need to but remember the plan is to repeat. Angelina will be Captain starting next year so I'll leave the play calling to her. Harry we all know that Malfoy has nothing on you, but I want you focused on the snitch today, the sooner you grab it the sooner we can get out of the damn rain." Said Oliver
As Oliver finished the returning members of the team could only look at him in surprise as all of them had expected much more from their normally Quidditch obsessed teammate. At the same time none of them had ever liked playing either in the rain or in high winds so it wasn't that surprising that their Captain wanted it over with sooner rather than later. Harry was just thankful that he no longer needed glasses as they'd been a nightmare to have in the previous rainy-day games.
All of them were also provided with goggles which had a couple of charms on them one that kept them from fogging up and another that cleared the lenses. They were in their rain jerseys which were heavier and had built in Impervious Charms which would keep the water from soaking into them. They also all wore armbands on their left wrists that would stop them from expressing their magic wandlessly which essentially meant no telekinesis and no orbing for him. All of them had grouched about that but they also knew it was fair and kept the game pure so none of them truly minded.
Only a few minutes later found the playing members team mounting their brooms and shooting out of the tunnel and into the open air of the pitch. The reserves had left just after the team meeting as they would be in the stands in an area reserved for them. Emerging from the tunnel they did a loop around the pitch with Oliver leading and Harry bringing up the rear before they flew as a group to take their places in the center of the pitch where Madam Hooch and the Slytherins were already waiting.
Looking them over he found that Slytherin only had two players return this year those being Draco as Seeker and Miles Bletchley as Keeper. The Chasers and Beaters were all new which meant the rumors of those players being disqualified by Professor Sinistra were actually true. Bletchley took the center position for the meeting showing that he was now captain of the team as well.
"This might be interesting." Said Katie as they approached them.
Soon enough he was able to identify a few of the newer players as Tracy Davis and Daphne Greengrass were now Chasers as was Flora Carrow, though he could only tell as she had black hair unlike her twin Hestia who had brown hair. The Beaters took him a while longer to recognize but he soon recognized them as Chester Pettinger and Pierce Buchannan. The Beaters were both 5th years, Carrow a 4th year while Daphne and Tracy were 3rd years. With Draco and Bletchley being 3rd and 5th years respectively that gave Slytherin a solid team for the next few years if no one lost their spot. The time for introspection was soon ended as Madam Hooch blew her whistle before releasing the bludgers and the Snitch which launched themselves away quickly before she herself tossed the quaffle up and they were all off.
Almost immediately he and Draco were engaged against each other as neither of them had lost sight of the snitch. The dissolution of House Malfoy and his adoption into the House of Black in full had changed Draco in ways that went outside of him now having brown hair and less pale skin. His magic felt cleaner, and he possessed a natural air of regality and magical power that the previous feigning and wielding of wealth could never yield. Despite his changes however Harry was pleased to see that it hadn't changed the fact that he was far from his equal especially on a broom. With that in mind Harry smirked before he put in more speed leaving a cursing Draco in his wake.
Annabelle Hammer was an experienced Auror, one who had survived the worst of the Blood War and the politicking that had taken over the Ministry during the Fudge Administration. Like many others who'd seen the writing on the wall she had done this by escaping. A fair few of her comrades at the time did so by marrying and getting themselves knocked up allowing them to retire.
For Annabelle that hadn't been a solution she could stomach, she was too much of a Gryffindor and unlike some of the newer crop that came after them she wouldn't whore herself for position either. Instead she had transferred to the ICW and worked her way up the ranks to become a Master Auror. In that time she had married and had a pair of sprogs, but she hadn't felt any need to retire and become a housewife.
She and her husband had only recently returned to Britain when she'd received a letter from the Head of the DMLE herself Amelia Bones which informed her of the change in power and inviting her back. On return she had become the new Head of the Auror Office as her predecessor had changed offices. One of her first tasks had been weeding out the bad seeds in the Ministry, a task she'd taken to with gusto and would lead to the ousting of many people and open positions even at the level of Department Head once everything was brought to light.
At the moment however none of that truly mattered to her and instead all of her attention was devoted to the crime scene she'd been called for. The scene itself was one of carnage with bodies and blood scattered all over the place. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie. The place was already covered with aurors at work processing the place many of which she paid no mind to until she came upon the two she was looking for Senior Auror's Richard Proudfoot and Emmeline Vance.
"What have you got?" questioned Annabelle.
"Birthday party, guest of honor was Sterling Dunbar 105th birthday." Said Auror Proudfoot
"Thankfully most of the attendees left prior to the attack. Those remaining were the older members of the extended family from what we've been able to gather." Said Auror Vance
"Any idea what caused this mess?" questioned Hammer causing the two others to share a look
"Werewolves." Said Proudfoot after a few moments
"I thought werewolves were run out of Britain." Said Hammer frowning.
"They were. In fact there hasn't been a werewolf attack since the midpoint of the war. As it is we've already called in the consultant. We're just waiting for them to arrive." Said Vance.
Hammer could only nod at this. The werewolves had been a big problem until a little over 30 years ago when something else had arrived in Britain. That something had been called a Lycan and while similar it was bigger and more dangerous than any werewolf. Eventually the number of Lycans rose and the werewolves that survived had fled from the British Isles. A few minutes later and there was the signature crack of apparition that caught the attention of the group. Heading to the apparition point the trio were greeted to the sight of Remus Lupin being escorted in by a pair of aurors.
"Lupin thanks for coming so quickly." Said Vance as they approached.
As Lupin greeted Proudfoot and Vance she took a moment to look the man over. She'd heard of Remus Lupin before of course but had never met the man and the rather large man that appeared surpassed all of her expectations. With the greetings over they guided him over to the scene and she could see the grimace take over his face for a few moments before he was able to tame his expression.
"Problem?" questioned Hammer
"No. I wasn't expecting such a powerful smell of blood." Explained Lupin shortly.
They continued on in a grim silence before they came upon the scene the three of them had left those few short minutes prior. Remus grimaced slightly at the sight of all of the bodies strewn about the place but remained silent. He'd been surprised when he'd first gotten the message and more than a little annoyed they'd wanted him to come before the game was set to start. Now however upon seeing this carnage he knew with certainty that this was needed, and he'd just have to make it up to Harry if he missed the whole game. With that thought in mind he flicked his wrist causing his wand to emerge from its holster before making his way forward, there was work to be done.
The Central City Hospital was crowded, though that was no surprise as it had been crowded regularly for nearly four months now ever since the explosion. Even now there was no ready explanation for what the storm that had literally come out of nowhere but it's results was the explosion of the unfinished particle accelerator within S.T.A.R Labs. The results of the explosion had resulted in many deaths and injuries and of course countless patients for the hospital and an outnumbered staff. They'd received help however with doctors and nurses coming from all of the country as well as assistance from the government. At the moment the hospital saw a group coming in for the first time which consisted of two men and a lady.
The lady was a beautiful African American woman who stood tall at nearly 6 feet with a curvaceous figure that drew eyes to her in admiration, lust, and envy be it male or female eyes that viewed her. She has long and wavy white hair which she wears freely down her back and blue eyes and wore a purple pants suit with a black turtleneck and low black heels. Beside her was a man who stood much shorter at just 5'3" though he was quite muscular and cut a rugged figure with his full yet neat beard and short cut hair. As he walked he pushed a wheelchair in front of him which held the final member of their group who wore a brown suit with matching shows and appeared to be the oldest of them at nearly fifty.
They were being led by a nurse who had met them at the check in station and led them to this point. Already they had passed a few checkpoints and come across a number of S.H.I.E.L.D agents who did nothing to hide their affiliation. From the lobby she led them up two elevators and down a hall before they rode another elevator to come to the 42nd floor. Here they came across even more agents though as they approached them with metal detection wands they were called back by a woman who turned into the hallway. Despite her small stature at just under 5'5" the way the agents snapped to attention in her presence showed it was clear this was not someone to mess with
"May" grunted the man pushing the wheelchair.
The woman May surprised everyone when she actually bowed towards him which he returned though nowhere near as deep.
"It's a pleasure to meet you again sifu" said the woman as she straitened herself before turning her attention to his companions.
Professor Xavier, Ms. Monroe thank you for coming. My name is Melinda May I'll be your escort the rest of the way."
Following Agent May they went down two more halls and took a right before passing through a set of double doors.
"Welcome to the Meta Ward. Everyone here was affected by the particle accelerator explosion in such a way that it altered them." Said May.
"Altered how?" questioned Ms. Monroe
"Short answer it gave them powers." Came a new voice.
Turning towards them there were greeted to the sight of a man who stood at a little over 6 feet in height and possessed a rather thin frame. He had combed back black hair with streaks of grey on the sides along with a pair of deep grey eyes. He wore dark blue scrubs over which was a white lab coat and while he may appear to be a regular doctor the sight of him alone was enough to cause the wheelchair bound man to narrow his eyes.
"Strange. Why am I not surprised you're here?" Questioned the short man behind the wheelchair.
"Because James I am first and foremost a doctor and Central City needs all the help it can get right now." Said Strange.
The man James grunted in acknowledgement but said nothing further. Though most called him by the name Logan, Doctor Strange was one who only called him by his true name. The man had helped him out some time ago and helped him recover a lot of his memories. Though there were still things he couldn't remember about his life it was far more than he'd had before, enough to know that he was in all actuality the oldest person in the entire building with the possible exception of Strange himself who made judicious use of time magic.
"Anyway I requested you come for two of our patients who would do well under your guidance. Their names are Caitlyn Snow and Francisco Ramon both of whom have been residents here since the explosion." Said Strange.
"What are their powers?" questioned May frowning.
Doctor Strange was the head of the Meta Ward and though everyone had wondered why it had been given that name this was the first time she'd heard it's occupants were enhanced, as all that had been said was that their body chemistries had been altered. In retrospect that had been the truth though it also understated things by quite a bit.
"Ms. Snow she possesses an advanced form of Cytokinesis. As for Mr. Ramon he can manipulate vibrations much like your protégé." Said Strange.
"Ms. Snow is in room 4250 along with her mother. Mr. Ramon is in room 4255 with his parents. It would be for the best if both attended your school." Said Strange
"I see then we will do our best to ensure such an outcome." Said Xavier.
"Thank you Charles. Now I'm sorry to rush away but I have a few other patients I need to check on." Said Strange.
"Well then Agent May I suppose it would be best if we get started." Said Xavier getting a nod from the woman.
Watching them go for a few moments Strange turned away and made his way to another room at the opposite end of the hall. Entering he found the room empty for the most part with the exception of the lone figure laying on the bed, a teenage male whose name chart if one cared to look identified him as Bartholomew Allen.
Back at Hogwarts Harry was in his element as he flew around the pitch. His teammates now on their awarded Nimbus 2001 brooms were flying circles around the Slytherin team. Of course with all of their new players this wasn't a surprised and he would admit if only to himself that he felt bad for their new players have a first game in this weather on top of the regular problems of fielding a mostly completely new team. It was for this reason that he wasn't even entertaining the notion of helping his teammates especially as there was no reason for him to be trying to break up plays when Fred and George were more than up to the task if the Chasers themselves ever slipped up.
Instead he had been entertaining himself with Draco for the most part. Despite him being on the faster broom with his Nimbus 2001, Harry was easily able to play against him especially as the new Slytherin beaters weren't engaging in any of the dirty play the former players used. With his magic now free of its bindings and his control greater than ever it left Harry with even more control of his old Nimbus 2000. The vibration of his watch had him focusing as he set an alarm for when only ten minutes were left in the game. Looking over to the scoreboard he found that Gryffindor was up by 60 with a score of 100 to 40. Nodding to himself he put on a sudden burst of speed and shot across the field causing Draco to curse as he followed in his wake.
A glint of gold out of the corner of his eye had him jerking sharply to the right as he focused in on the snitch as he shot over to the Slytherin stands. As if sensing his approach the snitch immediately put on a burst of speed yet before he could follow he was forced to stop suddenly just barely avoiding the bludger that would have hit him in his right side. Scowling he was not surprised that the snitch had taken the moment to hide itself yet again after his attention had been pulled away. He could hear Draco already beginning his taunt and before he could get more than a few words in Harry was off launching himself back to a hovering height so he could overlook the field. Nearly fifteen minutes later and the game time expired and the game was called 120 to 40 for a Gryffindor win.
The players wasted very little time evacuating the pitch and heading for their locker rooms. Once in the tunnel they dismounted their brooms and while his teammates carried theirs into the locker room Harry instead called for Dobby and after his arrival asked him to take his Nimbus and put it on the rack in his room at Potter Manor. Entering the locker room he found Angelina had wasted no time and had already removed her jersey and her undershirt revealing she was wearing a red bra. Before he could really absorb this a brazier appeared in the center of the room before fire lit up the interior, clearly the work of a house elf. As if this wasn't enough a pair of drink trays appeared beside Alicia already with drinks secured within them.
Noting his surprise Katie quietly informed him that Alicia had asked her personal house elf to supply the fire and the drinks. Of course in hindsight he should have realized Alicia's family had house elves as the Spinnets were an Ancient House. Though they weren't a noble house it wasn't because they were undeserving but according to Sirius the dark houses had pushed through a number of elevations that were for lesser houses into the nobility in the immediate aftermath of the Blood War.
Unfortunately as only a Noble or an Order of Merlin holder could sit upon the Wizengamont it meant that there were people with seats and votes that shouldn't have them. Still at the moment this didn't really concern him more than getting warm did. Oliver and the twins were soon standing around the fire with drinks all of them topless and using towels to dry their hair, Angelina joined them though she'd also ditched her pants and was only in her underwear.
"Harry I don't mind if you stare but you'll get sick standing around like that if you don't dry off and heat yourself up." Said Angelina causing him to jump before he hurried over to his locker blushing all the way.
A little over an hour later found Harry rushing out of the locker room with a fierce blush on his face curtesy of Angelina. His current embarrassment was due to not just her state of undress as he was dressing from his shower but what he had stumbled across after leaving the shower. Oliver had taken him aside at the beginning of the year and told him that now that he was in his third year they wouldn't shelter him as much as before and that he may see things while in the locker room but that whatever he saw should never be spoken of to anyone not on the team and never where anyone outside of the team could hear about it.
Sirius and Remus had taken him aside over the summer and given him what they'd called the young wizards talk but neither it or the warning from Oliver had prepared him to see Angelina and Alicia bare breasted when he emerged from the shower and making out with the twins. While he'd seen them making out before in the locker room it had never been like that! Shaking himself from those thoughts he took a few moments to take a few breathes and regain his composure before continuing on.
Leaving the tunnel and once outside of the pitch he was greeted to the sight of his family all gathered around and while the weather was still overcast and cold there was no longer in rain to speak of. He was greeted by a series of hugs from first his father then his aunts, Sirius and then Alice.
"Where's Moony?" questioned the boy.
"He got a summons by the DMLE, but he said he'll see you when you get back." Said Sirius
Nodding Harry accepted his backpack from his father and slipped it on before turning to Hermione who had been silent and opening his arms. Immediately he was the recipient of one of her infamous hugs ignoring the snickering of his godfather from behind him.
"You sure you don't want to come with me?" questioned the boy.
"Next time, this time should just be your family. Besides I still have my lessons with the girls for this weekend." Said the girl.
"At least they got rid of the dementors." Said Harry.
"And there are no trolls, basilisk or possessed professors to worry about now." Said Hermione
"Alright Harry you can see your girlfriend tomorrow." Called Sirius causing both of them to jump and spring apart blushing.
"See you tomorrow." Said Harry getting a blushing nod from Hermione.
He had only barely stepped away from Hermione before he found his arms occupied by Luna who gave him a kiss on the cheek before steeping back. Neville gave him a bro hug and promised to look after both girls before stepping back. As it was the only one who wasn't there was Ron which wasn't surprising as Ron as they had said there goodbyes earlier before the game.
Turning back to his father he found he was just in time to see the image of James Potter be replaced by that of Thor and making his way over he was pulled into a one armed hug before they began walking away from the group. They walked for a few feet until there was two separate groups which consisted of him, his dad and aunts, while Sirius stood with the Longbottoms, Luna and Hermione with about 10 yards separating the group.
"Ready?" questioned Thor.
"Yeah." Said the boy after a few moments.
"Alright remember stay completely still." Said Thor before taking a breath
"HEIMDALL OPEN THE BIFROST!" called Thor loudly and for several long moment all was still and silent before a beam of rainbow-colored light appeared from the sky and engulfed the group for several long moments before retracting and taking them along with it.
When the light placed them back on solid ground the rather awed group were greeted to the sight of a rather large man. Standing over 7 feet tall the man wore a golden chest plate that extended into shoulder guards over what looked like leather clothing. He also had a golden horned helmet with the horns shaped like a bulls along with black pants and gold boots and arm-bracers.
"Harry this is Heimdall the All-Seeing, his is the Guardian of the Bifrost and greater still one of my dearest friends." Said Thor causing the boys eyes to widen
"Heimdall, my son Hadrian, though we call him Harry. These are Lily's sisters Prudence, Piper, Phoebe and Paige." Continued Thor continuing the introduction.
"My Prince, though long overdue it is good to welcome you home. Ladies Halliwell welcome to Asgard, your sister was a remarkable women and would have made a fine Queen."
His voice was deep and powerful, yet he spoke to them with a softness and sincerity that showed he meant every word. After the greetings were returned they were ushered out of what they soon learned was an observatory and outside they came to the sight of a solid bridge made of rainbow light before which sat carriage attached to a pair of abraxans. An abraxan was similar to a Pegasus only they were huge beasts about 10 feet in height and 16 in length and nearly 25 ft. wingspan. After boarding the carriage they weren't pulled over the bridge so much as they flew over it which along with making the trip faster also gave them a breathtaking view of the city.
Asgard was a breathtaking sight and truly lived up to the name of Golden City as with the illumination of the suns rays it gave off a golden glow. They flew over the gates and over the city proper giving them time to take in the sights of the city from the air before they approached the with was in the center of the city with rising towers that stood over everything else. The carriage flew swiftly and before they knew they were overlooking a courtyard in front of the palace where a group of people were already gathered apparently waiting for them. Most of them wore black armor with golden accents, golden capes and helmets with horns that curled inwards.
"The Einherjar. They are the Royal Guard there are very few warriors in all of the Nine Realms that surpass them." Said Thor from beside him
Nodding at that continued looking over the yard, the Einherjar had situated themselves in a pair of lines facing each other while at the end of the line stood a three people, an older man and two women while four more stood to the side.
"My parents Odin and Frigga and my sister Aldrif or Angela as she prefers to be called. Those standing to the side are the Lady Sif and the Warriors Three, Fandral, Volstagg and Hogun."
A few moments later and the carriage had landed rather smoothly. His father gave him a quick grin before the door were opened and he stepped out of the carriage. His aunts Phoebe and Piper followed him out as they'd been sitting on his side before finally he himself stepped out followed by Paige and Prue. He quickly found himself standing beside his father as they walked between the line of guards with his aunts following behind the two of them and before he knew it they had come to the end of the line.
"Mother, father may I introduce my son Hadrian or Harry as we call him. Harry my father Odin Borson, King of Asgard and my mother Queen Frigga." Said Thor.
Frigga was the first to greet him and the smile she gave him easily washed away all of his nerves about there meeting. As she approached him it was as if everything else ceased to be as their gazes met and a number of feelings and emotions flew between them like words before Harry found himself wrapped up in her embrace.
"Welcome home grandson, you're safe now." Whispered the goddess in his ear.
Whereas the maternal energy of Frigga had helped him to relax and enveloped him like a warm blanket Odin was a different story. While also warm the feeling Odin gave off was solid and stable not so much nurturing but just as protective and he found himself standing to his full height under his gaze as his solitary blue eye looked onto him. Like Frigga many feelings and emotions passed between them until the feeling lifted and Odin placed his hand on his shoulder.
"This day has been one we have longed for, though many years late it is good to finally have you home grandson."
The next person he was introduced to was his aunt Angela as she preferred to be called. Though she shared red hair and green eyes like his mother physically that is where the similarities ended as Angela was a very tall woman at 6'2" and covered in muscles as he could tell by the armor she wore. His mother on the other hand had been a small woman who hadn't even been 5'5".
Then he was introduced to another of his father's girlfriends Lady Sif who stood just as tall as Angela only with black hair and blue eyes. The Warriors Three were the last to be introduced and though deferential he knew he'd grow to like them as well. His aunts had gotten a similar greeted though more formal for the most part, but they were welcome all the same being his mother's sisters.
When the greetings were over they were led through the palace and into the family wing. With the exception of Prue his aunts were all given guest quarters for their stay while Prue would be staying with his father. His dads room was huge and was more like a small apartment and had two bedrooms with full bathrooms attached and a half bath, though Frigga stated they would need to add another bedroom for Prue at some point down the line.
His room was down the hall from his fathers and consisted of a sitting room, his bedroom with a full bathroom and a half bath. From his window he could look down into a garden that he knew he'd have to bring Neville to see one day, a small lake, part of the city and further still mountains in the distance. His observation was cut off by a brief knock at the door, opening it he was greeted to the sight of his grandmother followed by his father and a woman who looked as if she could be in her late teens or early twenties though was probably much older.
"Harry this is Aldis, she is to be your personal stylist, as such she will make sure your wardrobe is put together for your time here." Said Frigga and Harry knew his immediate future would be long and embarrassing.
Sirius had a frown on his face as he made his way to the Headmistress's office. While he had been there more than a few times in the past this was the first time since he was hired that he'd been in the office and the invitation had come from a clearly irritated Moony from over the mirrors. It had taken him about ten minutes to get from his office in the transfiguration corridor to the office and that was thanks to the fact that he'd memorized the secret passages throughout the school as a youth. As he reached the final turn that led to the office he was greeted to the sight of Sprout, Flitwick and Sinistra already together and found himself falling into step with them easily.
"Sirius any idea what this is about?" questioned Sinistra.
"No, that's what worries me." Said Sirius.
As they reached the gargoyle that guarded the Headmistress's office Flitwick spoke the password and after a few moments the gargoyle stepped aside and allowed them entry. They climbed the stairs quickly with Sirius bringing up the rear. The door to the office was already open and inside they could see McGonagall and Mordo seated inside. Remus was also inside and he was clearly irritated judging from the fact that his usually amber eyes were solid cobalt blue showing Moony was very close to the surface.
"Thank you all for coming so swiftly." Stated McGonagall her face and tone set in a way that Sirius hadn't had directed at him since he was a student.
"Earlier today just prior to the start of the match Professor Lupin was called away by the DMLE. For those of you who do not know Remus has been a special correspondent with them since the war and they reached out today in that capacity." Said McGonagall causing Sirius to freeze before he looked to Remus who only nodded slightly.
"Last night there was a werewolf attack on a wizarding property outside of Cardiff, twenty people were killed. The attack was led by Fenrir Greyback and evidence suggest he's coming here." Said Remus getting a stunned silence from the professors.
