Authors note: Lucky with a new chapter of Pokemon Insurgence as I am on a roll with people liking it…and hoping for more reviews but baby steps as now comes…the trainer tournament as Bella is ready to sweep and show her skills!
Chapter 7: The Minda trainer school tournament
From the last chapter Bella traveled into the Minda town mines to train and find Nora, a missing student of the students school to start a tournament to prove her worth as a trainer as she enters the pokemon center "Better heal you guys up to recover before we do the tournament" said Bella as Noir, Cherry and Evo had to agree as they went in and sawed the same strange deliveryman who gave Bella the Delta poke balls as he approached Bella "Are you ?" He asked as Bella nodded "I am and are you the same delivery man who gave me the first package?" She asked as the Delivery man shook his head "I am a different one and I have a gift for you" he said as Bella accepted it and opened it revealing it to be a odd Megastone that was brown, green and a light purple as it emanated a strange energy "A mega stone? What is this?" Asked Bella "Its a Spiritombite, if you give it to a Spiritomb then it will Mega evolve" he said as he walked out as Bella looked it over as she placed it in what she called "Mega stone pocket" where she made it to keep any and all Mega stones (If) she finds. "Well we have a new Mega stone and I have no idea when I will get a Spiritomb but glad to have my first stone" said Bella as she recovered her pokemon as she went to the Trainers school as she had Moss fang out so she can watch "watch and learn Moss Fang once we finish this tournament were are gonna train you up to catch up with the others easily" said Bella as Moss Fang nodded as Bella walked up to the teacher who noticed "Hay Bella right? Thank you for finding Nora for me! Now that you're here we can finally get started with this Tournament" said the teacher as Bella smiled "Sweet and awesome *Anime look around* how does it work?" Asked Bella as the teacher took her up front "Welcome students! I hope you're all ready for one of the biggest tournaments we've had yet! We have two new students from Telnor town Damian and Bella *Bella waves as Noir, Cherry and Evo did the same as well as Mossy Fang flew in a circle around Bella* I think we're all excited to see how well they do!" She said as the other students chattered at wanting to see what the two can do, while some were wondering on where Bella got a shiny Zubat. "Lets begin! Best of luck to all of you!" She said
Today we have 8 very eager students ready to compete for the title of "Champion" Lets have a look shall we?
(It shows a tournament line up as Bella was facing a ninja boy named Kyle
Announcer (Bella and Kyle steps on the stage ready for the fight): this will be a battle between Bella and Kyle Begin!
"Hope your ready to lose! I am heading for the top to face Nora" said Kyle as he tossed out his first pokemon a Tyrouge as the little fella slammed his fists together "sorry but losing isn't in my vocab *Pulls out Cocos love ball* Go Coco" she said as in a shiny sparkle the cake theam Dweeble came out "(Hi) she said cutely as Kyle and Tyrouge was confused "What the heck is that? Some sort of cake with a Dweeble in it its freaky" he said as Bella got mad the same with Noir as Coco got sad "Ok I am mad for that and Coco don't listen to him, you are a beautiful and unique pokemon, who cares if you look sweet and adorable that even Pixie agrees" said Bella motivating and perking up Coco who felt better from the pick me up more so as Evo spoke up "(She is right, you should never let those bullies pick on you, you are sweet and beautiful just as who you are now and have amazing people who see that in you)" he said as Coco smiled as Kyle got bored "Ok don't know what you are saying, but you are not getting in my way use Tackle Tyrouge" he yelled as the young fighting pokemon dashed forward but Bella stood strong "Coco use Powder snow" said Bella as Coco blew a ice breeze that seemed to cause Tyrouge to stumble as Bella sawed a opening "Now use Sweet scent and chain with pound" said Bella as Coco unleashed a pink cloud of sweetness that caused Tyrouge to falter due to how sweet the scent is as he was full on tackled by the cake crab into a wall as Coco smiled "(I did it! I Did it!) She cheered as Bella did the same "You sure did Coco" said Bella as Cherry gave her own congratulations with a head pat as Kyle recalled his Tyrouge "your freaky pokemon may had beaten my Tyrouge, but my second pokemon will knock you out, go Riolu!" He said as he called out his Riolu as Bella recalled Coco "for that rude remark I am gonna take you down with a pokemon with a type disadvantage but is tough so lets go Geo" said Bella as she called out her Geodue who had his arms crossed "(Prepare to loose)" he said with confidence as Kyle and his Riolu got mad "(what's with those words, don't you know my kind can take down a rock type like you!)" Said the Riolu which Bella can understand as Kyle got mad "Well take this Riolu use Feint" he said as the Riolu seemed to fade and teleport fake out but Bellas sharp eyes was able to pick up on it as before the attack connected… "Geo like how we trained with your arms!" Yelled Bella as Geo hummphed and with his strong arms pushed up into a jump as he dodged the attack surprising the audiance and Kyle at the leaping strength.
"Let them have it with Magnetude" she said as Geodude landed hard unleashing a Magnetude 7 which really shook things up which knocked Riolu out as the crowd was surprised and in awe as Bella patted Geos head "Not bad G, really good arm strength" said Bella as Geo was proud as Kyle was shocked "What? No fair! You can't beat a ninja!" He said as Bella recalled her Geodude "I did and I did it splendidly" said Bella as she walked off stage.
Wow! What an exciting first round! The stadium is getting heated up and the contestants are on fire! Let us turn our attention back to the scoreboard for the results.
(It shows that Bella is facing Damian next)
It looks like the next match will be between Bella and Damian, let the battle begin!
"I hope you are ready Bella, I have done some serious training and I am ready to face you again!" Said Damian as Bella nodded "Bring it" said Bella as Damian threw his Pokeball "Go Corphish!" He said sending out his Corpish, but had on a focus sash on her forehead as she looked ready and determined "(Let me at her, let me at her!)" She said as Bella looked at Cherry "Lets go Cherry and show your awsomness" said Bella as Cherry nodded and lept forward as Corpish was ready "Corpish use Metal Claw" he yelled as Corpishs claw glowed and charged as Bella held her arms up "Cherry use quick attack to dodge quickly!" Said Bella as Cherry obeyed as a few slicing attacks from the metal claw as Damian decided to switch tactics as he ordered her to use Icy Wind on the ground so that Cherry will slip which she does a bit as she growled "(Annoying slippery)" she started as Bella studied the icy ground "Cherry use Thundershock to weaken Corphish and tag out so I can send Mumbo out" said Bella as Cherry nodded "(Gocha)" she said as she focused and launched a Thundershock onto Corpish who braced and thanks to the focus sash was able to hold on as Cherry hopped back as Bella pulled out Mumbos great ball "Go Mumbo!" She said calling out Mumbo who was levitating on one foot "(Ladys and gentlemen, the great and amazing Mumbo is ready to show my amazing magical tricks *trys to tip his hat but realize he has no hat* um Bella can we get a hat for me, its not very Magician like to show I am a fine magician" said Mumbo as he leaned close to whisper to Bella. "Noted, but focus and use Flame thrower!" She said as the Kadabra attacked firing a stream of fire as Corpish tried to dodge but the ice made her fall as the flame thrower impacted and caused her to faint as Mumbo whooped and cheered as Damian recalled his Corpish as the flames also melted the ice as Bella hugged her Kadabra as Damian watched as he pulled out his second pokemon "Go Luxio" he said as the electrical lion hopped out as on his tail was a cord with a electrical gem "(Lets light it up!)" She said as she clawed the ground as Bella allowed Mumbo to stay in…but was attacked and defeated due to the Luxio using Ice Fang and froze him and then used Double Kick as the Psi pokemon comically was knocked out "(Shows over for me bleh)" he said as Bella recalled him "Ok that was impressive but try to face Dabi" said Bella as she called out the strange Cubone as he seemed impassive and smirked as Damian sawed the burns and got mad "Bella what did you to that Cubone, how dare you abuse that poor pokemon by burning it!" He said as Bella sighed exasparated as Nora took note better on Dabi 'Baka those weren't new wounds those are scars from the past but how? Fire type pokemon are not in the Tendor caves' she thought as Bella spoke up "Damian, this is natural I don't know why but Dabi can use fire type moves and it caused a few burns on his own" said Bella as Damian was still confused but was ready to fight "Use Ice fang" he said as Luxuio charged with a ice fang ready but Dabi was prepared as he held up his bone "(better watch yourself)" he said as his eyes glared as Bella asked him to use Bone Club and thwacked Luxio and made him faint "That was cold especially with that look in your eye Dabi" said Bella as Dabi just shrugged "(didn't want to show some of my fire moves…yet) said Dabi as Moss Fang was curious as Damian recalled Luxio and breathed a bit 'shake it off Damian, Bella is a strong trainer and she isn't the type to hurt pokemon, but its still weird" He thought as he pulled out his last pokemon "Lets do this girl, go Eevee!" He said as he released his Eevee, who had a Silk scarf on her neck as she cutely said hi "I hope you are ready, because I really trained Eevee to really fight!" Said Damian "good I will like to see how strong your bond is" said Bella as she told Dabi to use Flame thrower, surprising the audience that he could and even Nora however Damian had a counter.
"Jump and dodge and use Secret Power" said Damian as Eevee obeyed and boosted by the silk scarf and that they were in a building it became Body slam and that was some heavy slamming that surprised Dabi on the strength as he recovered "(tough little fur ball, but I am tougher)" he said as Bella had to agree "Dabi use Headbutt" said Bella as the ground type charged, however Eevee used agility and dodged and bit hard onto Dabi inflicting heavy damage with Bite and then struck hard with Echoed voice, the loudness being a bit to much that Dabi fainted "Alright! Took down two of your pokemon, lets hope we can go for three" said Damian as Bella recalled Dabi "Don't count your pidgys before they hatched I am still not stoping *Pulls out Kayguras pokeball* go Kaygura!" She said calling out the Ghostly skeletal dragon causing the audience to murmer as Bella got mad "Oh you all shove it! Kaygura is a beautiful dragon, who cares if she is a skeleton she has a very beautiful and calm Kikyo from Inuasha personality" said Bella as Kaygura smiled "(thank you Bella for those kind words)" she said before focusing on the battle the same with Damian as he asked Eevee to use Bite which she obeyed and charged to take a bite out of the ghostly dragon "Might as well give you a tip and that is that you need to try chaining attacks like so, Kaygaura use Shadow sneak to dodge and chain that with Twister!" She said as the ghostly charmander snuck into the shadows avoiding the bite attack as she appeared and summoned a powerful gust of wind to blow Eevee away who slammed into a wall and faints with swirly eyes as Bella, Noir, Cherry, Mossy fang, and Evo cheered as Noir patted Kayguaras head "(that was beautiful, you mastered using chaining super well and using Shadow sneak to be a good way to dodge attacks)" he said as Kaygura smiled "(I couldn't have done it with out a amazing teacher like you)" she said as she started to glow which surprised Noir as she started to change as Bella was in awe and surprised that she was evolving.
Once the light cleared Kaygura was now a Charmeleon, still bony and a purple hue glow, but now a awesome charmeleon as Bella hugged her happy for the evolution as Rotato floated the phone and took photos as Mossy fang flew around in a circle fi to show how happy she is as the audience were also surprised the same with Nora as Bella calmed the happy Rotom dex down as she gently took him to scan Kayguras new evolution.
Delta Charmeleon the Skeleton pokemon and the evolved form of Delta Charmander
Its claws tear into its foes spirit. When facing powerful opponents, the flame on its tail gives off the appearance of a face
"(I find that hard to believe since I see Kaygura is very nice)" said Evo as the Delta charmeleon blushed at the kind words "(oh thanks, you are very kind)" she said as Damian picked up Eevee and walked off stage watching Bella cheer on her Delta Charmeleon as he smiled 'well I guess I have to push myself harder to beat you Bella'
Well what a spectacular match, and the showing of a impressive Delta Pokemon evolution, but let me just say that all of these trainers are giving there all to prove there worth, but now lets direct our attention at the score board for the final time (Shows the scoreboard as it shows it was now Bella vs Nora) Alright its all set! The final match of this tournament will be between Bella and Nora (Both trainers after healing up there pokemon got on stage ready too face one another) may the best trainer win!
"Hay Nora, don't hold back lets see who is the tougher trainer" said Bella as Nora nodded and pulled out a pokeball "I intend to, lets go Sewaddle" she said calling out the little bug pokemon as Bella was ready to send out Pixie but her pokeball burst and Nix came out "(Surprise little people!)" She said giggling surprising Bella woah, Nix I didn't…I mean…Nix was gonna send out Pixie" said Bella as Nix giggled "(Sorry couldn't resist to play, especially after Mumbo got to play and now I want to have a turn)" said Nix as Nora seeing how Nix popped out came to a accidental conclusion that some of Bellas pokemon are poorly trained "your Ghastly is poorly trained if you allow it to walk all over you like that" said Nora as Nix and Bella got mad "(OI I am not poorly trained I just love surprises!)" Yelled Nix "Nix isn't poorly trained she is just excitable and loves surprises, but if you are gonna fake being helpful then I will bring the wrath of the law on you with Night shade!" She said as a now angry Nix fired a stream of dark energy down as Nora got defensive "Quick Sewaddle dodge and use Air slash" she said as the little bug did as a strong gust of wind fired out slashing at Nix who braced herself "atta girl in staying strong, but now use Shadow Ball" said Bella as Nix fired a powerful shadow ball attack but Sewaddle dogged as Nora ordered him to use Bug bite which the little guy did and nibbled on the ball of gas as she made a face as Bella got worried but got an idea "Good thing Mumbo has taught Nix some of his tricks, Nix use Poison gas" she said as the ghost pokemon smirked and exhaled a purple gas of poison poisoning and distracting Sewaddle as Nora was surprised "Oh no!" She yelled "Alright now Nix finish with Night shade" said Bella as Nix did so making Sewaddle faint as Bella brushed her hands "Never again believe I can't control my pokemon, every pokemon has a trick and feeling quirk to them, you just got to work with there quirks, like for example how Nix is always loving to do *sees Nix is gone* Where did she go?" She asked only to hear Damian scream as Bella and Nora turned and sawed Nix had surprised Damian as she was laughing as Bella laughed a bit at that "Sorry about that she just loves to surprise People like that" she said as Noir walked over and grabbed Nix and carried her back as she just laughed with a naughty grin "(*WHispers to Mossy Fang and Evo* She is gonna be a devil once she evolves into a Gengar)" said Cherry as the Eevee and Zubat laughed at that as Bella rolled her eyes as Nora got her second pokemon 'she seems to be a clumsy loud person, but there is something in this Bella which is why Mew chose her' she thought as she pulled out her second pokemon "Go Trapinch, show them what you got!" She said as she called out her Trapinch which had a focus slash on his waist.
Seeing the Trapinch caused Bella to be confused "I hope you really know what you are doing, Nixs ability is Levitate and is thus immune to ground and rock type moves" said Bella "I know but those types of moves are not the only moves Trapinch can use but also Bite!" She said as with speed that was surprising for the ant lion like pokemon to leap and bit "hard" on Nix as she tried to shake him off but it was a critical hit as she fainted surprising Bella "You defiantly earned your rep as a strong trainer *Recalls Nix* but I am no quitter to stop fighting *ready to call out Pixie however Mossy fang flew off Bellas shoulder much to Bellas surprise* Mossy Fang are you sure?" She asked as she nodded "(I want to fight as well and grow strong to help you Bella)" said Mossy Fang as Bella nodded "Alright its all up to you Mossy fang, start up with Super sonic!" Said Bella as Mossy fang let out a super sonic screech as it caused Trapinch to get confused as Nora was shaken "Trapinch try to focus and use bite!" She said however her Trapinch was muddled so much that he bit himself as Bella took advantage of that "Quickly try to get a lot of damage in Mossy Fang and use Astonish and chain with Poison Sting" said Bella as Mossy fang got in close and made a surprise face startling Trapinch as she then used Poison sting spitting put poisoned needles which struck hard on the Trapinch as a purple mark appeared on the pokemon meaning he was poisoned "Way to go Mossy Fang you poisoned him" said Bella as Mossy fang blushed happily however soon fell due to the distraction and a anemia attack as Bella responded and lept grabbed her as she fell "that was close, be proud you have only a minor anemia symptoms" said Bella as Mossy fang rubbed one of her ears "(Sorry)" she said as Nora was surprised as Mossy fang got back to flying "as odd as it was, we are still battling and so come on Trapinch use Quick attack!" Said Nora as Trapinch shook off the confusion and then speed tackled onto Mossy Fang who faltered a bit before recovering a bit "Mossy fang be careful and use Absorb to try to recover" Said Bella "Oh no you don't Trapinch use Quick attack and Chain with Bite" said Nora taking a page out of Bellas book on combos as Trapinch was fast and punched tackled into Mossy Fang as she bit into him to take some energy but was faced with a bitting retaliation as she was knocked out as Trapinch stood tall…but wobbled a bit as the poison was in effect as Bella picked up Mossy fang "(I-im sorry I loss)" she said as Bella shook her head "Win or loose you did super Mossy Fang *Gives her to Noir so that she can continue watching* you really earned what your title calls you but I am not quoting just yet as I *Pulls out Kages pokeball* chose Kage" she said sending out her Ninja Squirtle…earning a lot of woahs and imrpressiveness as there were a lot of chatting as the ninja turtle sat in medative mode.
"Normally I wouldn't do this, but I will, Kage use Vaccume wave" she said as Kage opened his eyes as with amazing speed sweeped a powerful sweep that attacked on the Trapinch as the ant lion pokemon was defeated as Bella patted him "Not bad Kage" said Bella as Nora recalled her Trapinch as she watched Bella pat her Delta Squirtle happily as Nora got out her last pokemon "Lets do it my friend, go Honeedge" she said calling out the mysterious sword like pokemon as he pulled out his sword body from its shief as he eyed Kage "(Humm a worthy fighter)" he said as Kage Notices and bows in respect "(It would be my honor and pleasure to fight against a worthy opponent)" he said as he activates to use cut not on Bellas orders much to her surprise but recognizes why though Nora was confused as her Honeedge attacked with pursuit with out her command but Kage blocked it with cut "What on? Honeedge why did you attack with out my order?" She asked "Its a honor battle, both our pokemon are fighting a honor battle with one another and so we must respect it" she said as the ninja and sword pokemon fought and were practically evenly matched as Honeedges ghost typing barely scratched Kages own dark typing, however that changed when Honeedge used Gyro ball to struck Kage he started to do it more striking him hard as Kage used Vacuum wave to push back Honedge however leaning of his power and strategy he started to use Shadow sneak to dodge all of Kages Pursuit attacks and striking back with brick break pushing him down "(gehhhh)" he said as he tries to push up as Honeedge held his blade form forward "(Yield and surrender for the sake of my mistress, as I must soon face your own members of your team as well)" said Honedge as Kage growled as Bella yelled "KAGE DONT GIVE UP TILL THE VERY END!" She yelled as Kage got his second win and stood tall and strong as he lashed out as he glowed white and evolved into a Delta wartortle much to the crowds surprise as it unleashed a powerful Aura sphere which knocked hone edge back and knocked him unconcus as the light cleared revealing Kage now a Delta wartortle as he stood tall and strong much to Nora surprise "I couldn't win…is it possible there's a better trainer *walks over to hone edge to pick him up* then Me?" She asked as Bella hugged Kage who gave a gentle smile as Bella checked her dex
Delta Wartortle the Ninja pokemon and the evolved form of Delta Squirtle
Its tail splits to better conceal the back of its shell while it waits for foes. Its gloves help better channel its inner spirit energy.
What an amazing Battle! Both the trainers put up a great fight, but our very own Bella was the one to come out on top!
"WOOOHOOO! WERE THE CHAMPIONS! WERE THE CHAMPIONS!" Yelled Bella as Cherry and Evo also cheered as Noir mimicked his sister figures emotion of happiness and cheer.
Congratulations Bella! You have certainly earned todays title of "Champion"! Thats all we have time for I hope you enjoyed todays contest and we hope to see you again soon.
Few minutes later the teacher was on stage looking at the tournament entries "As usual fantastic tournament it looks like our usual champion Nora has been toppled congratulations to our new champion…Bella (Bella blushes) Next time we have a tournament, I guess we all know who to watch out for! *to the students* don't forget everyone if you study hard maybe you'll be able to win the next one! So crack open those books and get down to it!" Said the teacher. Few minutes later everyone was going back to studying as the teacher and Nora and Damian gathered close to Bella "What a tournament! That battle between Bella and Nora in the final…well I was off my seat with excitement!" Said the teacher as Damian spoke up "The battle between Bella and I was pretty good too right?" He asked as the teacher gave a look "It was ok, the final battle was far better" she said as Damian deadpanned "Oh…alright" he said disappointed as Bella noticed as she subtly unleashed Coco and Pixie as the two nuzzled his legs as he felt better at the sweet Fairy types "Anyways, Bell I'd like to give you this TM as a reward, after all every tournament champion deserves a grand prize" said the teacher as she gave Bella a TM for TM27 for Return "This is the TM for Return you can teach it to anyone and the more it likes you the more damage it will do" she said as Bella and Noir shared a grinning look "Thanks I will save it for later" said Bella "I hope this encourages you to bond further and become closer to your pokemon *Turns to Nora* here Nora for getting second you can have one too" she said as Nora accepted the TM "Thank you Miss" she said as Damian spoke up "I was third, can I have something too?" He asked "No (quite rude tone as Damian bowed his head in depression as his Eevee popped out as she patted his leg) I was really quite impressed with your skill Bella , if you're headed west why not stop in Suntouched City? There's a gym there led by a young trainer named Orion he specializes in Fire and Grass-type pokemon (Bella: that sounds like a interesting combo team) if you want to be a strong trainer getting Gym badges is the key to improving your skills I highly recommend it!" She said cheerfully as Bella checked her Town map app on her Rotom phone "Gonna tackle it it was on my list to battle all of the regions gyms and try to become champion for each region, so it will be perfect to start now" said Bella as Nora walked up to Bella "Thats what I'm doing to Bella, now that I've seen that Im the only one who…you know" she said as Damian confused as Bella nodded as Nora breathed in and out "Nevermind, but I feel more comfortable taking risks *Smiles and winks* I guess its a race! *Turns to Damian* you too uh,…*Turns to face Damian* what's your named exactly" she said forgetting Damians name as Damian sighed "My name is Damian" said Damian "right, Damian, I'll see you both in Suntouched CIty!" She said as she ran out as Damian looked at Bella.
"I think I may do the same was well, winning badges and maybe conquering the pokemon league may prove my worth, more so maybe get Nora to recognize my name, I wish you good luck Bella and I hope we can face each other again" he said as he walked off with Eevee following as Bella waved good bye as she placed her hands on her hips as she looked at her pokemon "Alright guys, time to continue training and move forward on the path to win our first badge" said Bella
Authors note: and that is the new chapter as Bella fights in the pokemon trainer school tournament and won the TM for Return as her pokemon showed there chops as both Kayagura and Kage evolved into Charmeleon and Wartortle respecfully and when will Pixie will evolve…well wait and see as next chapter Bella goes onto Route 2, but meets the trainer with the charmeleon as she catches a strange Crawkanaw with a unique Delta Honedge…
