'Dr. Pope!' Quinn yelled as loud as she could, now jogging towards Olivia. She wasn't sure how somebody so short managed to walk so fast, but Liv made it look extremely easy.

Olivia didn't slow down one bit, clearly ready to get going to her next patient. She had a clipboard in her hands and was skimming the paperwork clamped in it. 'What is it, Quinn?'

'I need your signature on something.' she huffed, nearly out of breath. She held the paperwork out in front of her clipboard, hoping that she'd finally catch her attention.

'What is it?' she finally slowed down and attempted to go over what was in front of her.

Quinn finally took a break, taking a few moments to allow her body to catch up with her mind. She began to explain what the paperwork was, but it soon became obvious that Olivia wasn't exactly listening. The Apple Watch on her wrist began to buzz, and her eyes darted to that.

Olivia quickly signed whatever paperwork Quinn had given her and then handed it back. She and Quinn had been working together for years, so she trusted that it wasn't anything vicious.

'I need to go!' she said, handing over the clipboard as well. 'Can you go handle the patient in room 3?'

'But, Dr. Pope, I didn't get a chance to—'

'Later!' she yelled, now running in the other direction.

One of the ambulances had just brought in a man from a car accident. He had a long piece of rebar going through his side, and he was clearly in shock. The EMT's had managed to get him inside the hospital without causing any further damage, but he was definitely in critical condition.

'Finally, you're here.' Stephen sighed as Olivia came rushing through to the operating room. One of the nurses was putting a cap over his black, curly hair, while another prepared his face mask.

Years ago, when Olivia was just a resident, Stephen took her under his wing and showed her basically everything he knew. She didn't need much help, though. Everyone at the hospital was impressed by her knowledge, and he was proud to be her mentor. Even now he felt more like a big brother than a coworker.

'I was dealing with another patient.' she said somewhat apologetically.

In the corner of the room was a small station for shoe covers, and Olivia immediately slipped her feet into some. As she and Stephen prepared for surgery, their patient was laid down on the table and prepared.

It was obviously going to be a very long day.

After 5 hours, Stephen and Olivia had finally wrapped things up in the OR and they were taking a well deserved break. Instead of going into one of the rest areas, they collapsed on the floor, shoulder to shoulder. The nurses had already wheeled the patient out into a recovery room, and they were the only two people left.

'Nice save today, Pope.' Stephen commented, finally pulling his face mask down.

'Shut up.' she murmured with her eyes closed tightly. 'I feel like I can just take a nap right here on this floor. I just need you to be quiet.'

He chuckled softly. 'Well think again, buttercup. The job isn't over yet.'

'No, no, no.' Olivia whined. 'Don't make me do it. Please. My knees are aching, and I'm so hungry.'

'I did it last time.' he stretched out his legs and they both listened to his joints pop. 'Besides, I'm just an old man. You wouldn't make me do it, would you?'

'I'm getting sick and tired of this old man's excuses.' she stood to her feet, groaning the entire way. Olivia put both hands on her lower back and stretched, causing her bones to pop as well. 'I'm so glad my shift is almost over.'

'I thought Olivia Pope was built for this.' Stephen teased, still refusing to get up.

'She was about 10 years ago.' she removed her face mask as she headed towards the door. 'Now she just wants a massage.'

Stephen chuckled and shook his head at his friend, but continued to sit there and enjoy the peace and quiet. He was sure it would only be a few more minutes before someone else started to page him, but at least he had these few moments.

The OR waiting room was always busy, and this evening was no different. Olivia groaned as her arms popped as she reached for the handle to the door. She couldn't wait to get home and soak in her bathtub with a glass of wine, but that was at least another hour away.

At least tonight her shift would end on a positive note. One of the nurses had already told them the patient's son had been waiting to hear about the condition of his father, and it was always nice to deliver good news. There was only one young man in the room, and she immediately walked over to where he was sitting.

'Excuse me, sir.' Olivia said, catching his attention.

He looked to be in his early 20's, 23 if Olivia had to guess it, but she did notice that he was very handsome. He had short, brown, curly hair, and the prettiest blue eyes she had ever seen. He was dressed in a suit and tie, which seemed pretty formal for waiting around in the hospital, but she had to assume that he had just gotten off of work. She pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind, though. Not only was it inappropriate, she was more than ready to go home.

The man immediately stood to his feet, and Olivia had to tilt her neck upwards to look at him. He shot her a crooked smile as he reached out to shake her hand.

'Good evening, doctor.'

'Well, I'm happy to say that your father is doing just fine.' she smiled brightly. 'He's definitely not out of the woods just yet, but he pulled through. He's a very lucky man.'

His nose crinkled. 'Excuse me?'

'Your father.' Olivia's eyebrows furrowed. 'Mr. Mackey.'

'That's not my father.' he shook his head and chuckled. 'Actually, I've been waiting to see you Dr. Pope.'

'Me?' she took a step back and crossed her arms against her chest. 'Why?'

'Dr. Beene sent me to find you, but you've been in surgery for the past few hours.' he slid his hands into his pockets. 'My name is Fitzgerald Grant, and I'm your new intern.'

No more than 5 minutes later, Fitz was trying his best to keep up with Olivia as they rushed through the administration suites of the hospital. They were on their way to Cyrus' office, and she just prayed that they were able to catch him before he left for the night.

Mostly everyone else had gone home for the evening, but his door was still cracked. Olivia took that as her opportunity to walk in, not even bothering to knock or announce herself as she came through.

'No, no, no, no, no.' she said, now standing in front of his desk.

Fitz was still a couple of paces behind her, struggling to catch his breath. He wasn't expecting such a tiny little person to be so fast.

Cyrus glanced up from whatever he was reading on his desk and he smiled. 'Good evening, Olivia. I see you've finally met Mr. Grant.'

'Nice to see you again, sir.' he nodded in his direction, trying his best to hide the fact that his breathing had become labored. Suddenly he was regretting that extra Twinkie he had for lunch.

'I don't want an intern, Cyrus.' Olivia stated, but then glanced back at Fitz. 'No offense to you. I'm sure you're a lovely person.'

His shoulders shrugged. 'My mom thinks I'm a pretty swell guy.'

Cyrus laughed. 'This one is funny. I like him.'

She groaned. 'Cyrus!'

'Dr. Pope, I have your signature right here saying that you didn't mind having a summer shadow.' Cyrus dug through his paperwork, smiling when he found the one with Olivia's signature.

Olivia marched over to the desk and snatched it out of his hand. She didn't remember signing off on anything like this, so her first thought was that somebody that forged her name on the document.

After analyzing the sheet of paper, she remembered it was what Quinn was urging her to sign off on earlier that day. She sighed and shook her head. 'This was a mistake. I didn't get a chance to read all of this.'

Cyrus stood up from his chair and walked towards the door. 'Mr. Grant, could you wait outside in the lobby for a moment? I'm sure Brenda could rustle you up a cup of coffee or something.'

'Sure thing, Dr. Beene.' he nodded his head. Before he walked out of the door, he turned to Olivia. 'And, for what it's worth, I was very much looking forward to seeing your work, Dr. Pope.'

He shut the door behind Fitz, and then shut the blinds on the windows. Cyrus sighed and rubbed his temples, knowing that he needed to be prepared to fight. He loved Olivia like a daughter, and she was one of the best surgeons that they had at the hospital, but she was the most stubborn person he had ever met.

Olivia sat down in the chair across from Cyrus' desk. She didn't mean to be rude, but the last thing she needed was an intern. There was a reason she avoided the people doing residency at the hospital every chance she got. Teaching wasn't exactly her strong point, and it just frustrated both her and the students to even try it. Things tended to move fast, and she didn't have time to stop and explain every other patient.

Cyrus knew he wasn't going to win coming into the deal empty handed, so he was already strategizing the things he could offer Olivia. He walked over to his chair, leaning back a bit as he clasped his hands together.

'Do you know who that is?'

'He told me his name was Fitzgerald Grant.'

'Yes, that's true.' Cyrus nodded thoughtfully. 'But, do you know who he really is?'

She groaned. 'Don't try and play word games with me, Cyrus. I don't know anything about the kid.'

'He's Fitzgerald Grant III. He's the son of Governor Grant, and the grandson of Fitzgerald Thomas Grant.' he informed.

'So we let him in the program because his daddy is the governor and his grandfather donates to the hospital?' she scoffed. 'Typical.'

'That's not why we let him in.' he shook his head. 'Do you know the average age of our interns?'

Olivia rubbed her temples. 'Just get to the point, Cyrus.'

'The answer is 23. Do you know how old Mr. Grant is?' he gestured towards the window, where he could faintly see Fitz standing and drinking a cup of coffee.

'23?'

'He's 18.' he smirked. 'He'll be 19 in a couple of weeks.'

Her eyes widened. 'Wow. He looks very mature.'

'And that's why I need your help.' Cyrus smiles brightly. 'He's young and talented. I have no doubt he's going to be a great surgeon. He's finished his undergrad degree, and he's been accepted into every medical school he's applied to. But-'

'But, what?' her eyebrows raised.

'He's a bit.. immature.' he explained.

'And so you think I should be the one to help him grow up?' she waved him off. 'Forget it. Get somebody else to babysit for you, Cyrus.'

'Olivia, this could be a great opportunity for you as well.' he urged in an attempt to sweeten the deal a bit. 'Don't you remember the days when you were just some little intern running around the hospital? I remember how you used to shadow Dr. Filch closer than his actual shadow.'

'No, I don't remember.' she plainly stated.

'Yes, you do.' Cyrus retorted. 'And if you don't, I do.'

He reached behind him and grabbed a photo off of his desk. It was from a few years ago when Olivia had just started her residency at the hospital. She came in wide eyed and ready to learn, and that's what he loved about her.

'What if we had denied you valuable learning experiences?'

Her eyes rolled. 'That's different. Fitzgerald is just an intern. He hasn't even started medical school yet.'

'But, he's about to.' he put the photo down. 'Look, if he gets to be too much then I'll pull him from your load and stick him with someone else. I think this is a good match, though.'

Olivia rubbed her temples, clearly still not enjoying the idea.

'Plus, the mentor relationship is important to the dynamic of the hospital.' Cyrus continued. 'We won't be able to keep running if we never recruit young, talented people. I'm positive that Mr. Grant will meet, no, exceed your expectations of him.'

'I have absolutely no expectations of him.' she snarked back, although it was too late by this point. Cyrus knew he had won.

He grinned widely. 'So, then it shouldn't be that hard for him.'

She sighed. 'What am I supposed to do with him, Cyrus? He can't operate on patients, he can't treat people, he can't even check their blood pressure.'

'He's here to learn, and work on some research he's had going.' he opened up the file cabinet on his desk and pulled out a thick, heavy binder. 'Here's a copy of the things he's already done independently. His main focus has been gestational diabetes, and his goal is to be a gynecologist.'

Olivia reaches out to grab the paperwork, her arm nearly falling to the desk because of the weight. 'Have you read it?'

'I have.' Cyrus sat back and nodded.

'Is it any good?' she placed the binder in her lap and began to flip through the first few pages.

'Brilliant.' he confirmed. 'He reminds me of someone else I know. Somebody that came to this exact same hospital just a few years ago.'

'You've made your point, Cy. No need to keep going.' her eyes rolled. 'You're just kissing ass now.'

'I'm just saying.' he shrugged. 'So, you're agreeing to do this?'

Olivia sighed. 'I'm agreeing, but only on a trial basis.'

'Perfect!' he clasped his hands together. 'You all will start bright and early tomorrow morning. You deserve some rest tonight. I heard about that patient you and Stephen saved earlier.'

She stood to her feet, and held the binder out for Cyrus. 'You owe me one, Cy.'

'Of course, of course.' he nodded and waved her off. 'And you keep that binder. It'll give you something to read over tonight.'

'I don't want to read anything tonight. I'm going to bed.'

He rocked back in his seat. 'Well, then just do it at your leisure. It'll tell you more about the person you'll be working with over the summer.'

Olivia scoffed as she turned on her heel to leave the office. She was sure to shut the door behind her, shaking her head as she wondered what she had gotten herself into.

Fitz wasn't much of a coffee drinker, but he still gulped down the liquid in his cup as he waited for Dr. Pope to come out of the office. He had read a lot about the work Olivia had done, and he was very excited to have been placed with her. He wasn't expecting her to have the reaction she did when he introduced himself.

He'd be okay if he was placed with another doctor, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be disappointed.

He immediately stood to his feet once he heard the door open, and his smile betrayed the tension and nervousness he was feeling inside. There was only a little coffee left at the bottom, but his shaking hands still managed to make the hot java stir.

Olivia walked up to Fitz, now supporting his binder on her hip. It seemed to get heavier and heavier with every step she took.

He looked down at her, his eyebrows raised as he waited to hear her decision.

'I will see you tomorrow in my office, Mr. Grant.' she instructed sternly. 'I start my rounds at 7am, sharp. And please, don't be late.'

Fitz had to fight the huge, toothy grin threatening to take over his face. 'I will see you then.'

7am was a bit early for Fitz, but he made it work. The hospital had put him, and their other summer interns, into a small housing facility on the campus. The building itself was old, the shag carpeting made that obvious, but he tried to make it as much like home as possible. He had to share his space with 3 other guys, but they all had their own separate bedrooms and bathrooms.

It was the living and kitchen area that they shared, and Fitz already hated it. It was their first night, and they had already been drinking and playing loud music until almost 2am. When he woke up they were all passed out on the couches. There were beer bottles everywhere, pizza boxes on the floor, and the tv was still on.

It wasn't that Fitz didn't like to have a good time, but this was something he took very seriously. For as long as he could remember, all he wanted to be was a doctor. It was something he and his father often butted heads about, actually. Big Gerry wanted him to go into politics, and had done almost everything in his power to keep him from medical school.

Fitz put in the work, though, and did exceptionally well at every project that was thrown his way. He wasn't going to give up his opportunity for a chance to party with some people he hadn't even known for 24 hours.

The walk to the hospital was only about 5 minutes, but Fitz managed to do it in 3 because he was so excited. Olivia hadn't told him to bring anything in particular, so he just packed his briefcase as best he could. He stuck a pen, pencil, and notebook inside, and then his lunch to make it seem as if he were carrying something important.

Cyrus had given him a sheet of paper with her office number on it, but it wasn't hard to find. He took the elevator all the way up to the 8th floor, and the suite was right in front of him. He glanced down at his watch and smiled when he saw that it was 6:59am on the dot.

Unlike Cyrus' office, there was no receptionist or coffee machine. There was no window view, and no snacks laid out in the waiting area. All Fitz could see were shut office doors, and a tv that no one had even bothered to turn on yet.

Straight ahead was Olivia's office. Her door was cracked just a bit and he could see a sliver of light peeking out from the room. He cleared his throat then reached out to knock on the door, but she spoke up before he could.

'Come in.' she instructed.

Olivia had been in for at least an hour when she heard Fitz come through their waiting area. She could tell it was him, because no one else in her office came in that early. Unless they had a meeting to attend, people usually started rolling in around 8am.

Fitz pushed the door open, and greeted her with a small smile. 'Good morning, Dr. Pope.'

'You're late.' Olivia commented.

His eyes widened. He glanced down at the watch on his wrist. 'I'm sorry. I thought we agreed on 7am.'

'I said my rounds start at 7am.' she reminded, not bothering to look up from whatever she was reading. 'Not show up at 7am.'

'My apologies.' he swallowed hard. His goal for the day was to make a good first impression, but he had obviously failed at that. 'I'll know for next time.'

'Please do.' she stood to her feet. The only thing on her schedule today was to see patients, so she had on some simple blue scrubs, and a pair of tennis shoes. Her hair was pushed up into a bun on top of her head, and she kept the makeup down to a little mascara.

'To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late, and to be late is unacceptable.' Olivia said as she walked past him. 'Remember that.'

Her white coat was hung on the back of her office door, along with a stethoscope, and her ID badge. She had to get on the tips of her toes to reach it, and Fitz had to admit that she looked pretty adorable doing it.

'I will, Dr. Pope.' he nodded. 'Should I start wearing scrubs when I follow you, or should I just stick to business wear?'

Olivia finally turned her head to look him up and down. She hated to think it, but he was really rocking his dress shirt and slacks. She slid her arms into her coat sleeves, trying to get her mind back on track.

'You look appropriate.' she said. Fitz had a feeling that that was the closest thing to a compliment that he was going to get out of her. 'But, you'd probably be more comfortable in a pair of scrubs. I move around a lot, and they carry less bacteria.'

He nodded his head. 'I'll grab a pair for tomorrow.'

'There's a locker downstairs with plenty of them, and they're free.' Olivia advised, clipping her badge to the pocket of her shirt. 'They're not anything stylish, and they're a bit itchy. But, they're free.'

'I will check it out once our shift is over.'

Olivia almost laughed when he said 'our' shift, but she held it in. She had already promised to play nice, and that's what she was going to do.

'Ready to start?' she checked her watch. 'We're already 2 minutes behind. We need to get moving.'

Fitz reached out and opened the door, supporting it with his outstretched arm. 'After you.'

She nodded in his direction, before heading out of the office. The door locked automatically behind them, and it required a key code to get back in.

'Can I ask you a question, Dr. Pope?' he chimed as they headed towards the elevators.

She was quiet for a few moments, almost as if she was considering it or not. 'You may. Ask me anything.'

'Why do you get here so early?'

Olivia chuckled as she pressed the button to go down. The building was getting older, and the carts didn't move as fast as they used to so she knew it would be a few moments before it made it all the way up.

'That's, if you don't mind me asking.'

'I don't mind.' she shook her head. 'Why do you think I get here at 7?'

'Because being early is being on time?' he answered hesitantly.

She immediately laughed, which made Fitz relax a bit. He couldn't tell if she was amused because it was funny, or because she thought his answer was dumb, but at least it relaxed the mood a bit.

It was a weird thing to notice, but Fitz actually liked her laugh. It was loud, but still contained, and he could almost swear he heard her snort a bit. It was one of the first genuine signs of emotion she had given off, so it good to hear. Even if she was laughing at him.

'That's true, but, no.' the elevator doors finally opened, and they both stepped on. She pressed the button to the 3rd floor. 'What comes first at a hospital?'

'Patient care.' he said with a confident smile.

'Correct.' Olivia affirmed. 'And what do you think falls under that category?'

He thought for a few moments. 'Patient follow up and after care?'

'Yes.' she tilted her neck to the side. 'But, something else.'

'I'm not sure.' his shoulders shrugged.

'The patient's peace of mind.' Olivia answered for him. The doors opened, and they both stepped out of the elevator and began to walk down the hall towards the staff entrance. She needed to pick up a couple of charts before they started meeting with patients.

'Usually, during the night time hours, there's no doctor here.' she explained. 'There are plenty of nurses and techs around, but sometimes the patients like to see their regular physician.'

Olivia used her badge to swipe against the sensor on the wall, and the door automatically unlocked for them. Fitz pushed it open, allowing her to walk in first.

'Thank you.' she commented. 'We're talking about brand new parents, and a lot of them are first timers. So even after they've read all the books, and trust me when I tell you they've read all the books, after having their baby with them for over 12 hours they have more questions. They're this mixture of happy, and excited, and scared shitless.'

'I could imagine so.' Fitz agreed as they walked through the break room. There were a couple of lockers, a vending machine, and a few nurses asleep in the chairs.

'Nobody likes being in the hospital.' Olivia said as she grabbed an orange out of the fruit basket on the table. 'But, this should be a very happy time for the patients. We want to make this the best experience as possible for them. If it means that we come in an hour early and show them a kind smile, then so be it.'

'Got it.' he nodded.

After picking up a few charts, they started going down the hall that had been assigned to Olivia. Most of her patients she had been seeing throughout their pregnancy, so they knew each other pretty well and had a good rapport.

'This is Mrs. Singh. She gave birth to a healthy baby boy 2 days ago, and they're about to be dismissed. Her son is having problems latching, and she's a little worried about how he will cope once they're dismissed in about 30 minutes.' she informed without looking at her clipboard, which impressed Fitz. 'Ready to go in?'

'I'm ready.' he reached out for the door handle.

Olivia grabbed his wrist and shook her head. 'Knock. Always knock.'

He blushed, but nodded again. 'Sorry.'

'That's alright.' she said as she gently knocked on the door.

They waited a few moments for someone to say 'Come in' and then proceeded into the room.

Mr. and Mrs. Singh were both sitting on the bed, staring down at their baby. They were young, and Fitz could tell by the look on their faces that they hadn't gotten any sleep at all. Olivia walked towards them with a smile, while he hung back a few feet.

'Good morning.' she greeted warmly. 'This is Fitzgerald Grant, and he will be shadowing me today. Is it alright if he sits in on our visit?'

'We don't mind.' the worried looking mother answered.

'Great.' Olivia clasped her hands together. 'It's dismissal day. Is everybody ready?'

Mr. Singh sighed and shook his head. 'Thank goodness it's just you, Dr. Pope. We thought the nurse was coming early to kick us out.'

Olivia chuckled. 'No, but I'm sure Nurse Quinn will be by here soon. Is the car seat already in your vehicle?'

'Yes.' Mr. Singh answered. 'But, he still isn't latching on like he's supposed to. We're afraid that he won't be eating enough.'

'Did the lactation specialist come by here yesterday?' she asked, glancing down at the baby's chart.

'Yes.' she quickly answered. 'But, it didn't help.'

'Well, let's just try one more thing.' Olivia walked over to the counter and used some hand sanitizer, then rubbed her palms together well.

Mrs. Singh began to remove her top, and Fitz immediately glanced down at his shoes. Olivia noticed, and gently cleared her throat.

'Please watch closely, Mr. Grant. This is important.'

He nodded and walked closer to the bed, sliding his hands into his pockets. He knew this was all just to help the baby, but he wasn't sure how close the mother wanted him to be while her chest was out.

Neither Mr. or Mrs. Singh seemed to even notice he was there while Olivia helped her situate the baby just right in her arms. She gently compressed Mrs. Singh's breast.

'Sorry, I'm sure my hands are freezing.' she apologized. 'I'm going to let go, and then you two can try it. It looks like he just needs a little help to get it just right.'

She removed her hand, and the baby's father replaced it with his. They all watched together as the baby began to suckle fast and hard, and both of the parents grinned in astonishment.

'I can't believe that worked.' Mr. Singh gasped. 'Dr. Pope, you are a life saver.'

'I'm just glad I was here to help.' she reached into her pocket and grabbed the orange she had snagged from the break room earlier. She put it on the bed beside them. 'I snuck this out earlier. I'm sure neither of you have had anything this morning. Share it on the way home, and try and get some rest.'

'We will, Dr. Pope.' Mrs. Singh promised. This was the first time she had smiled since she had been admitted.

'You need to stick with Dr. Pope.' Mr. Singh commented to Fitz. 'She's the best.'

'That's the plan, sir.' he nodded his head and smiled. 'I'm glad you guys have it figured out.'

'Call me if you have anymore issues.' Olivia said as she and Fitz made their way towards the door. 'Nurse Quinn will be by soon.'

'Thank you, Dr. Pope.' they both said in unison.

Olivia gently shut the door behind them. They started walking towards the next room together. 'If I had come in at my regular time, those two would've already been dismissed. I wouldn't have been able to help them.'

'It's a good thing you were here.' he agreed.

They made it to the next door, and Olivia took a step to the side, allowing Fitz to take the lead. His jaw clenched, but he reached out and confidently knocked, then held his ear closer to the door to hear a response.

Once they finally gave the okay to come in, he opened the door for her. Olivia smiled softly.

At least he was learning something.

Things had certainly changed since their first experience a year ago. Olivia hadn't been in the market for an intern, or an assistant, or even a boyfriend. But she ended up getting all that and more when it came to Fitz.

Her breath was labored, beads of sweat formed on her forehead and dripped down her bare chest, pooling at her bellybutton. Olivia's hands were shaking, and her toes were curled so hard her joints were turning white. The mattress below her had sunk a bit, she hadn't moved from that spot in over an hour, and her green silk sheets were darkening with sweat and a pool of her own essence. What was once emerald was now moss, and it was obvious that they would need to be changed.

You could hardly see out of her large windows that overlooked the usually crowded beach. It was dark outside, and the rain seemed to be drenching the building. The only light coming from the other side was the occasional strike of lightning. The thunder was so strong, it seemed to shake and rattle her bed with every boom.

'I.. I..' was all Olivia was able to muster out before her bottom lip betrayed her by snapping shut. If she had been able to find her voice, she would've let Fitz know that she was almost there. He wouldn't have been surprised, though. She had been on the verge of her peak for a while now, but he had continuously denied her.

They would usually play this game of cat and mouse and as annoying as Olivia found it, even she had to admit that it added to her orgasm. In some ways, she hated that Fitz knew exactly what to do to make her body shake and her head spin.

'Please..' she murmured.

'Mmhhmm.' Fitz hummed lowly. 'Are you ready?'

'Yes!' Olivia nearly hissed. Her eyes snapped shut, finally seeing the light at the end of her tunnel.

Fitz couldn't help but lick his lips as he watched over her facial expression. She was all but begging by this point, and he found that as one of his biggest turn ons.

'Go ahead, baby.' his head slightly nodded, his hand never stopped its ministrations. 'Let's finish.'

That was all that Olivia needed to hear. Her orgasm washed over her like a river in a long lasting drought. Her thighs trembled, her spine arched and ached, and her eyes rolled to the back of her head. She would usually try to keep her pupils trained towards him, but tonight all she could see was stars. A gush of wetness ran down her thighs as her body exhausted on the bed.

Fitz watched her intently, his eyes raking over her flesh in the most selfish, and carnal of ways. Olivia was her own person who only belonged to herself, but her pleasure was solely his. It was a gift that she has personally handed to him, and he took very good care of it. He rubbed his penis, his fingers grasping tightly on his shaft while his other hand massaged his balls. He called her name as his seed shot from the tip of his cock, and his tense shoulders relaxed a bit.

'I hate you.' Olivia said softly. Although she couldn't see Fitz, she could hear him as he finished.

He breathlessly laughed. 'I can see how wet the bed is. There must be something that you like.'

'Whatever.' she huffed.

As if it were clockwork, they both rolled over and got out of bed and headed towards their respective bathrooms to wash up. While that part didn't take long, they both had to remove the sheets from their beds if they expected to sleep in material that didn't smell like sex. They always gave each other 5-10 minutes to clean up a bit before they met back again to say goodnight.

Olivia and Fitz hadn't seen each other in person in over six months at this point.

After they decided to try their relationship out to see where it took them, they immediately had to separate. Olivia couldn't just pick up and take her job with her, and Fitz had a big decision to make as well.

Where was he going to go to school?

While he had made it into every school he had applied to, it had always been his dream to attend Harvard. They were number one in the country for their research, and Fitz was craving a challenge. He could nearly taste the Boston air, but he was more than willing to give it all up if it meant that he could be closer to Olivia.

Their relationship was new, but he wanted to be able to pour as much as he could into it.

The University of Miami was right across town from the hospital where Olivia worked, and he knew he'd be able to find an apartment in a decent location. While UoM wasn't his dream, it was still one of the best schools in the United States, and he was sure that with a letter of recommendation from Cyrus he'd have no issues. Besides that, Fitz felt like he no longer needed to attend his dream school. His slice of happiness was right there in Florida, and her name was Olivia Carolyn Pope.

Olivia, though, encouraged him not to stick around. Actually, she told him to leave. She knew the only reason he would consider setting his dream aside was so that he could be closer to her, but she didn't want that for him. She knew he'd absolutely regret his decision, and she didn't want him to resent her later on.

After a somewhat emotional goodbye, Fitz boarded his flight to Boston and his medical school journey began. Olivia had warned him about how much different it would be than anything else he had ever experienced, but he initially didn't believe her. He had always been good at school, which is why he was able to excel so quickly, so he figured that this would be no different.

After his first week, though, he realized that Olivia was right. He was still doing much better than most of his peers, but his studies took a lot out of him. In the very beginning there was no flying out to see each other or virtual dates. With both of their hectic schedules they really only had time for a phone conversation here or there, but it wasn't enough.

After some trial and error, they were able to find some sweet spots in their plans. Fitz would study for exams while Olivia was on the other end in her office going over patient files. Instead of going to the gym they would do workouts together at home over FaceTime. She would cook while he cleaned his apartment and ate whatever takeout he had chosen for the day. It definitely wasn't easy, but they had fallen into a pretty structured routine.

Much like the rest of their long distance relationship, the intimacy hadn't come easy either. It took a lot of convincing to get Olivia on board, but eventually she was willing to test the waters over a video call. It took a lot of reassuring to even get her to send a nude photo of herself, so he was elated when she was willing to move to the next step.

'Performing' on camera was a huge leap for her, but Fitz seemed so confident about it she tried not to complain. It was awkward and they fumbled a lot, but now she couldn't see their relationship without it.

Although it took a lot of trust, Olivia gave him the reins when it came down to this. Even before he left for school, Fitz had established himself as the more dominant one in the bedroom. It only made sense that it continued over video. He instructed her on how and when to touch herself, and helped to guide her along to her orgasm. It took practice, but they now had it down to a science.

Olivia tied her black silk robe around her body, allowing the bust area to hang a bit loose as she stood in front of the camera. Her hairbrush in hand, and a ponytail holder placed between her lips, she began to push her hair into a neat bun.

'Whew.' Fitz whistled. 'Is that new?'

She nearly snorted. 'You ask me the same question every time I wear this, and the answer is always the same. No, it's not.'

'You sure?' He cocked his head to the side. 'Turn around and let me see the back.'

Olivia's eyes rolled. She immediately knew that Fitz had ulterior motives behind his actions. She did a quick little spin on the balls of her feet, then turned to face him once more.

'Wait, you did it too fast.' Fitz frowned. 'I think there's a design on the back. Let me see.'

'There's no design on the back, Fitzgerald.' She said sternly, although they both knew she was going to turn back around for him. She just had to be difficult about it first.

'How do you know that?' His eyebrows quirked. 'You can't see what's on the back. Let me analyze it. I'm a trusted source.'

'Oh, really?' Olivia folded her arms against her chest. 'And what qualifications do you have?'

'20/20 vision, baby.' He grinned. 'Now go ahead. Turn around for daddy.'

She couldn't help but smirk and shake her head at him. Olivia, once again, turned on the balls of her feet. This time she stopped so that her back was facing the camera, knowing that that was exactly what he wanted to see.

While there was no real design on the back, that didn't stop Fitz from glancing her up and down. His favorite part about this ensemble was that it was a bit too short to cover up her entire behind.

'Hmm.' Fitz hummed. 'You're right. No design. I could've sworn I saw something. Maybe we need to try a new angle.'

Olivia laughed. 'You're being ridiculous. If you want me to do the thing, just ask.'

Finally giving up on their little game, Fitz nodded his head and leaned forward to the camera so that he could get a better view. 'Please do it.'

She rolled her eyes and shook her head once more, stifling back a chortle. Olivia bent over and grabbed her ankles, completely exposing herself to him. With very minimal effort she was able to shake her legs enough to make her butt jiggle the way she knew he liked.

Fitz swallowed hard and licked his lips. It wasn't anything he hadn't seen before, but it still made him react every single time. He could already feel himself getting hard once more.

Actually, he didn't think he'd ever get tired of seeing Olivia naked. Fitz imagined that years from now, even after they're married and have their 5 kids (which was his idea), he'd still be jumping at every opportunity to get her clothes off.

Olivia slowly stood back up, ignoring Fitz's groans in complaint. She turned herself back around and adjusted her robe once more.

'You've already had your show tonight.' She reminded him.

Olivia took her brush, still in her hand, and began to stroke through her hair. While she normally liked to maintain her natural curly tresses, this week was special. She had just left the spa earlier that day where she had gotten a facial, manicure and pedicure, her hair blown out, and a nice massage. It reminded her that she hadn't treated herself in a while.

'I was hoping for an encore.' Fitz mentioned suggestively.

Her eyebrow raised. 'Oh, hunny. If you want an encore you're going to have to pay me.'

Fitz simply chuckled and shook his head. 'How much?'

'You can't afford me.' Her shoulders shrugged. Olivia sat down, facing the camera.

'You don't know what I can afford.' He said, clutching his chest as if his feelings were hurt.

'An unemployed medical student who buys a large pizza on Monday so that it will last him until Wednesday.' Olivia reminded him. 'I think I know exactly what you can afford.'

'Ouch, Livvie.' He winced. 'You really know how to hit a man where it hurts.'

'And don't you forget it.' She quipped. Olivia grabbed her head scarf off of her nightstand and began to tie it neatly around her head.

She adjusted her iPad a bit to make sure that she was at a desirable angle, and then began to tie her hair up in a tight bun.

Fitz couldn't help but grin as he watched her. 'You are so beautiful.'

She chuckled. 'You always say that.'

'I always mean it.' he bit back.

'Mmhhm.' Olivia hummed. 'What time does your flight leave tomorrow?'

He glanced over at the clock in his room. 'Wheels up at 8am sharp, and I should arrive at JFK around 5pm.'

Hearing that made Olivia's nose crinkle. 'That can't be right. Why would it take that long?'

'I have a 5 hour layover.' his shoulders shrugged casually.

'That doesn't make sense.' her eyes rolled. 'A straight through flight from Boston to New York should take an hour and 30 minutes at max. Why didn't you book something straight through?'

He bit his bottom lip. 'I wasn't paying attention and I just snagged the cheapest flight I saw. You know I'm not good with this type of stuff.'

She scoffed and shook her head, but Fitz was right. He was terrible at making travel arrangements. In the few times they had seen each other in person he had either missed his flight, booked something incorrectly, or accidentally left his bags somewhere. Initially she assumed it was because he was young and careless, but that wasn't it at all. He spent so much time engrossed into his textbooks, he had let a lot of other things slip in the meantime.

'You could've asked me for help if you had too much on your plate.' she offered. 'Do you want me to call and see if you can get on another flight?'

'Not at all.' he immediately rejected the idea. 'Not only are all the other flights booked, this is my bed and I have to lay in it.'

Olivia groaned. 'I just wish you would come to me when you get overwhelmed.'

'And I do.' he grinned. 'Who stayed up all night with me when I had that Human Structure and Function exam last semester?'

'It was me.' she sighed. Olivia loved being there to support him in any way that she could, but even she could admit that she didn't want to relive medical school. It was as if the nightmares were flashing before her eyes again.

'But I'm good at other things as well, you know? Things that aren't medical related. Like booking flights, and-'

'And, I know that.' Fitz cut her off. 'My baby is good at everything. You don't have to tell me.'

She crossed her arms against her chest. 'You sure you don't want me to call?'

He chuckled. 'Olivia if I wanted to change it I would call myself. I'm a big boy, you know?'

'I know.' she sighed.

'Hey,' he smiled, attempting to change the subject. 'I can't wait to see you in a couple of days. I've been thinking about it all week.'

Now that put a smile on Olivia's face as well.

Even though Fitz was out of school on summer break, he had still been interning and shadowing other professionals in his area. With the 4th of July quickly approaching, though, he had decided to take a break and spend some time with his parents.

Well, that wasn't exactly true.

He would've much rather had spent it in Florida with Olivia, but his family was practically begging him to come home and see them. After much convincing, he agreed on the condition that he could bring his girlfriend. Fitz felt like it was time for her to meet everyone, anyway. This way, he could have his cake and eat it too.

'I can't wait to see you, either.' she said softly. 'It's been almost 7 months.'

'Please don't remind me.' he grobbled. 'Too long if you ask me.'

She giggled softly at his dramatics, but she honestly felt the same way. Of course Olivia knew they wouldn't see each other often, but there wasn't enough video calls in the world to replace being in his arms.

'I don't understand why you can't just come in tomorrow with me.' he poked his bottom lip out, in hopes she would take pity on him.

'Because I have a job, Fitzgerald.' she reminded. 'And it's way too late to call out at this point. I'm going to see you bright and early Saturday morning.'

'This isn't fair.' he huffed.

'Life isn't fair.' Olivia quipped, causing him to laugh.

The next day at work Olivia was walking around with a little bit more pep in her step than usual. It was only a few more hours until she was able to take off, go home and pack, and be on the first flight out to New York. People had commented all day on the fact that she seemed to be even glowing a bit, but she paid them little to no mind. She knew she couldn't help the large grin that she sure was now permanently plastered on her face.

'You're scaring me, Olivia.' Abby commented as they walked through the break room to find a table to eat at.

Usually they would camp out in one of their offices, but Cyrus said that someone was coming through to fix the air conditioning in the suite that they were in. Today, they were stuck amongst the interns and residences. She probably would've been much more annoyed if her heart wasn't beating so fast.

'I don't see why.' she responded as she finally spotted two chairs. Olivia grabbed Abby's hand and began to rush them towards the spot before anybody else could make it.

'You're happy.' Abby chuckled, her long legs barely stretching to keep up with Olivia's quick strides. 'And not your normal happy. If I didn't know any better, I would think you got some last night.'

'Abby!' she hissed and smacked her arm. 'You know Fitz is in Boston.'

Abby sat her food down on the table, and then proceeded to sit in one of the seats. 'You're right. You're excited because you're getting some tomorrow.'

Her comment made Olivia blush, but she knew she couldn't deny it. When she said she missed Fitz a lot, she meant that she missed everything about him. She loved his funny nature, his huge smile, and even his curly brown hair- but she definitely loved those other parts as well.

'This is the last time I will ever tell you anything.' her eyes rolled.

'What? I'm happy for you!' she laughed. 'It seems like just yesterday you two were sneaking around to make out in the family restroom.'

'We did not!' Olivia laughed. 'Fitz and I kept it clean until the day of his awards ceremony. There was absolutely nothing inappropriate before that point.'

'Right, of course.' Abby teased, but she knew it was the truth.

The two of them sat and ate their lunch together, but before they were finished they saw Cyrus walk through the doors. He very rarely socialized amongst everyone, so it came as a bit of a surprise. A few people attempted to stop and talk to him, but he went right back to where Olivia and Abby were sitting and unpacking their food from the hospital to go boxes.

'Great news, ladies' he smiled and clasped his hands together. 'The air in your office suite is completely fixed. I want you both to go and check it out.'

'Amazing.' Abby sighed with relief. 'It was a sauna in there. I thought I was going to melt.'

'I think you're both being dramatic.' Olivia's eyes rolled. 'I never felt a difference all week. I'll have to go check it out before I leave. I have patients for the rest of the day.'

Cyrus shook his head. 'I need you to go now. The repair guy is going to leave soon, and I need to know that you both are comfortable before he escapes.'

Abby's eyebrows quirked. 'Didnt you feel it yourself?'

'Fine.' Cyrus held his hands up in defeat. 'But don't come whining to me if he can't come back out for another 2 weeks and you ladies are sweating in your offices. And don't ask to camp out in my suite, either.'

This made Olivia chuckle. Cyrus' tough guy persona was much tougher than what he was on the inside. While he did have a no nonsense personality, he was quite the pushover if he liked you. And Abby and Olivia were his favorites

'Let's go, Abby. Cyrus looks like he may burst if we have to borrow his office.' Olivia stood from her seat.

Cyrus reached over and grabbed the container that Olivia's food was in. 'I'll be taking this, since you want to be a smart ass.'

This made her gasp. 'Cy, I need that.'

He held his hand up, essentially shushing her. 'I'm the boss around here.'

Abby nudged her and smiled. 'Don't worry, I'll share with you.'

Olivia's eyes rolled as she watched Cyrus open up her lunch and take a huge bite out of her salad. 'One of these days I'm going to report you.'

He grinned, before taking another exaggerated bite of her food. 'And when the report comes across my desk, I'll be sure to read through it all.'

Abby and Olivia chuckled before making their way out of the cafeteria. In all honesty, Olivia wasn't even that hungry. Her mind was only seeing Fitz, and finally getting that vacation she so desperately needed. As silly as it seemed, she had butterflies fluttering all around in her stomach.

After taking the elevator and opening up the suite doors, both of the ladies took a step inside.

'It feels the exact same.' she scoffed. 'You both are crazy.'

'It does not.' Abby said, closing her eyes and out stretching her arms. 'Finally, some air.'

Sitting in the waiting area of the suite was Michael, Olivia's new intern for the summer. Unlike Fitz who was able to enter the program at a young age, Michael was on a normal progression track. He was 25, already in medical school, and eager to learn anything he could. He had dark black hair, piercing blue eyes, and stood at about 6'1. When he wasn't following right behind Olivia, he could be found at the gym or asleep.

'I agree with you, Dr. Pope.' he said, standing up from his seat. Neither of them had noticed him before, but his deep voice was just the jolt they both needed.

'Michael!' Abby gasped. She wasn't expecting anyone in the area. 'Didn't I send you home earlier?'

'You tried to.' he nodded his head. 'But, I thought it was a joke. Dr. Pope would kill me if I just disappeared.'

'Why'd you try to send him home?' Olivia asked, cutting her eyes at her friend.

'All the other interns went to the beach today.' she explained. 'No need to torture him on a Friday evening.'

'And I told Dr. Whelan that we have been working on an important case. The beach could wait. You needed me here.' Michael retorted, causing Abby to roll her eyes.

Olivia smirked. She wasn't sure if she "needed" Michael for anything, but she wouldn't kill his confidence.

'Dr. Whelan may be on to something, Michael.' her shoulders shrugged.

'She is?' his eyebrows raised.

'Well, they do say that ambition is folly.' Olivia quoted as she began to dig around her in her purse for the key to her office door. 'Everybody deserves a good break every now and then. And besides, it's good for you to network with the other interns while you're here. You all will be able to use each other for years to come.'

'Think of it as a team building exercise.' Abby quipped, feeling more than triumphant.

Michael sighed. 'Do I have to?'

Olivia thought about it for a moment, and then chuckled. 'Yes, actually, you do. Come inside my office and put your clipboard and charts away, and then go to the beach. That is your new assignment.'

Abby took a bit of joy in the look of despair on Michael's face. 'That's right, Olivia! Punish him with a fun day at the beach!'

With his head hung low, he walked towards the office door with Olivia a couple of steps in front of him. While Dr. Pope and Dr. Whelan were right, he definitely didn't see the point of skipping a work day just to hang out. A part of him began to wonder if he could just head upstairs and ask Dr. Beene if he had anything for him to work on.

'And I'm going to ask the other interns if you show up to the beach today.' Olivia commented, as if she could read his mind. 'And I'm going to ask them how long you stayed.'

Michael couldn't help but chuckle. 'How are you always 10 steps ahead of me?'

'Because I can see myself in you.' she commented back. 'And I know exactly what I would be thinking.'

As they approached Olivia's office door, they noticed that it was ajar. Her eyebrows immediately furrowed, because she knew she would never leave it that way. The only person with a key to that space was her and Cyrus, so this was concerning.

Michael noticed the door as well, and the cogs immediately started churning in his head. 'Maybe maintenance forgot to lock it up.'

'No.' she shook her head. 'Dr. Beene was up here, and he would have known to lock the door again. There are patient files in there. Maybe I should call security.'

He shook his head. 'Just stand behind me, I'll open it.'

Olivia cut her eyes at him. 'Who do you think you are? Clark Kent? There could be somebody dangerous on the other side.'

'Only one way to find out.' he commented, stepping around her completely. Michael pounded loudly on the door, waiting to see if he would hear anything back. When there was no response, he flung the door open.

The pair were expecting to see papers strewn about, Olivia's belongings on the floor, or at least something damaged - but there was none of that.

Instead, her desk was cleared of all paperwork. On top sat a white, lace tablecloth with a brown, wicker picnic basket. There was very soft music playing in the background, and the lights were a bit dim. Balloons floated over where the sofa sat, alongside a few boxes wrapped up as gifts.

Michael had his arms outstretched, essentially blocking Olivia from getting inside of the office space. She had to stand on the tips of her toes to see over his limb, and she immediately had to put her hands over her mouth to keep herself from screaming out loud.

Sitting behind the desk, wearing a white button up and a pair of dark brown pants, sat Fitz. He had the biggest smirk on his face as he watched the way his Livvie's eyes and demeanor lightened up. He stood up from her office chair and rounded the desk, outstretching his arms to her.

'Look, man,' Michael said, lightly pushing Olivia back. He had never even seen a photo of Fitz, or even heard her mention having a boyfriend, so he wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation before him. 'this is a closed office space. You're not allowed back here.'

Before Michael could think twice, Olivia had ducked under his arm and was nearly running into the office space. He tried to reach out and catch her, but she was out of his reach by that point. Despite the fact that she was wearing heels, she was able to leap up high enough to launch herself into his open arms.

Michael took a step back and blinked a couple of times, trying to clear his vision a bit. Olivia rarely ever smiled, laughed, or showed this much excitement about anything. It was like he was viewing a stranger in front of him.

Before he could get too caught up in the moment, he felt someone pat his back. He glanced over his shoulder, just to see Cyrus and Abby also looking on. They had been in on the whole thing together, so this was no shock.

There was never anything wrong with the air in their unit suite, but Cyrus had to get her out of her office long enough for Fitz to set the scene. And he really didn't want her lunch, but he didn't want her to be too full before she got to enjoy whatever was in that picnic basket.

'You all know this guy?' Michael questioned, still in a state of disbelief.

'Would you believe that this was Dr. Pope's intern from last summer?' Abby commented, nearly having to wipe a tear threading to prick through her eyelids.

He glanced back over at them, seeing how tightly Olivia's legs were wrapped around Fitz's waist. While he kept their relationship professional and would never attempt anything with her, he did think that she was hot.

'That's the greeting she gives her interns?' his eyes widened a bit.

She cut her eyes at him. 'Don't you need to get to the beach?'

'Well, ya.' he responded, still looking at Olivia and Fitz. 'But, Dr. Pope wanted me to turn these papers back into her and-'

'I'll take them.' Cyrus said, grabbing his bag off of his shoulder. 'Now scram.'

'Okay, okay.' he relented. 'I'll go.'

Fitz hadn't been paying much attention to the interactions at the door, but he couldn't help but chuckle as Cyrus shooed away the intern. He lightly kissed Olivia's temple. 'I'm going to put you down now, okay?'

Olivia shook her head. 'Not yet.'

Cyrus couldn't help but smile, either. He had known Olivia for years, and he had never seen her this happy. 'Olivia, I'm giving you the rest of the day off. Dr. Whelan has volunteered to fill in for you for the remainder of your shift. You two enjoy your lunch, and enjoy your vacation.'

This statement finally made Olivia release the death grip she had over Fitz's body. There was so much excitement going on her heart was nearly beating out of her chest. She rushed over to her office door and wrapped her arms around Cyrus and Abby's necks.

'I love you guys.' she mumbled so only they could hear.

After sharing a sweet moment, Abby went to go start on her rounds and Cyrus went back to his office space. Olivia shut and locked her office door, although she seriously doubted anyone would disturb them. When she turned around, Fitz was leaning against her desk with his hands in his pockets, and the biggest grin on his face.

'What are you doing here?' she asked, more shocked than anything. She was trying to piece all of the parts together in an attempt to understand what exactly was going on.

'You remember that long layover I said I had?' he asked, waiting for her to nod her head to continue. 'Well, it was in Miami. And there was no way I was coming to Miami without seeing my favorite girl.'

Olivia nearly pinched herself as she felt the urge to cry. It was so hard to keep her emotions in check, but no one had ever gone through such lengths to surprise her with anything. Not only that, she really did miss Fitz. Sure it was only another day until they got to see each other in person, but the wait had been unbearable.

She walked back over to where he was standing, and immediately wrapped her arms around his waist. Olivia used his body as a support, leaning all of her weight onto him.

He could tell the entire experience was a bit overwhelming for her, but he would give her all the time she needed to relax. His arms linked around his body, and he kissed the top of her head, his nose lingering there and he took in her scent. There were some things that could never be replicated over FaceTime, and this was one of them.

'Did I surprise you?' he murmured softly.

'Yes.' she responded, then tilted her head upwards so that her chin was resting on his chest. 'I don't even know what to say.'

'Well, you could start with an apology.' he teased. 'Remember last night when you said I was bad at making travel arrangements? I want to hear "I'm' sorry for ever doubting you. You're the best boyfriend in the world, and I love you."' Fitz said in an exaggerated feminine voice.

This made Olivia chuckle. 'But, you are bad at making travel arrangements. You were supposed to be headed to New York, and you ended up in Miami.'

'That's because I had to come down here and see my baby.' he smirked. 'I don't like the way that Michael guy was trying to hold you back. If I didn't know any better, I'd think he has a thing for you.'

'What makes you think I would even think of my intern that way?' her eyebrows quirked.

His hands slowly traveled down to her bottom, and he took a cheek in each hand. It had been months since had gotten a chance to feel her, and that alone was enough to make him groan.

'You've got a bad track record.' he teased.

'Don't start anything you can't finish.' Olivia said softly, as Fitz began to lift her.

Her legs wrapped around Fitz's waist once more, her hands lightly exploring his chest as she relished in the feeling of what was his physical presence. It had been so long since they connected in anyway, this felt more like a dream than anything.

'My flight doesn't leave for another 5 hours.' he said, leaning in to take her lips.

What started off as small pecks turned into something more as Olivia captured his bottom lips between her teeth. Her hips began to grind against his crotch, and his breathing became labored.

'What about lunch?' he nearly groaned against her lips.

'You said you've got 5 hours. You're going to have to make them count.' Olivia replied before sliding her tongue in his mouth.

'Right here?' he asked, now trying to push her pencil skirt up to the best of his abilities. It was a bit tight, especially considering the position they were in, but she was making it impossible to wait any longer.

'Anywhere.' she anxiously responded as she began unbuttoning his shirt. As good as the smooth cotton felt against her palms, she knew his bare chest would feel even better.

This wasn't exactly how he planned their afternoon to go, but he knew he couldn't deny her. Not only that, he was craving to be reconnected to her.

Fitz pulled away from their kiss, only so that they could focus on getting their clothes out of the way. While Olivia got his shirt all the way down, he was finally able to push her skirt up without ripping it. She then reached down and began to unbutton and unzip his pants.

Once his member was released from his boxers, Fitz let out a breath that he hadn't even realized he was holding in.

'He's always so excited to see me.' she teased.

'Who could blame him? You've been rubbing all over him for the last five minutes.' he chuckled.

Fitz let go of her behind long enough to get a good grip of her shirt. Instead of carefully unbuttoning her top like she did, he ripped through the buttons holding the blouse together. She gasped, and then immediately smacked his shoulder.

'I'm going to kill you' she facetiously warned.

'What a hell of a way to die.' he responded, his eyes now trained on her exposed cleavage. She was wearing a simple, nude colored bra, but it still drove him just as crazy.

Seeing the excitement in his eyes, she immediately worked to get her bra off. Olivia knew it would have the same fate as her shirt if she didn't move fast enough, and she preferred to keep it around for a bit longer.

As soon as the undergarment hit the floor, his lips were on her breasts. She was biting, sucking, and licking anything he could get his mouth on, relishing in the sound of her moans.

Olivia reached down between their bodies and began to stroke his cock. He was already hard, and his arousal was beginning to drip from his bulbous tip.

After what felt like hours of them kissing, fondling, and petting one another Fitz finally her down. Olivia huffed in complaint as her unsteady feet hit the floor. Before she could take her heels off, he grabbed her sternly by both of her arms.

'Leave them on.' he commanded.

With one swift move, Fitz had her pinned against the mahogany wood of her desk. Before she could even blink, he had her arms twisted behind her back. Olivia couldn't see what he was doing, but she could hear the buckle of his belt start to shift.

He used the leather strap to tie her wrists together, something they had experimented with months ago, and then tightened it to ensure she couldn't move.

'Someone has been practicing.' Olivia commented.

'Thanks, coach.' he smirked and pulled on the restraints. 'Too tight?'

'Perfect.' she confirmed.

'That's my girl.' Fitz cooed softly at her.

Before she could get another word out Fitz grabbed her by the back of the neck, causing her body to flinch. He ignored her tensed up muscles, and forced her to bend over the desk. He pushed her skirt up a bit more, making it scrunch up at her waistline.

He immediately dropped to his knees behind her, wrapping one of his arms firmly around her thigh. He used his other hand to rid her of the only thing left between him, and what he had been craving for months.

Fitz hooked his pointer finger in the crotch of her nude panties, and slowly pulled them down her legs. The constant teasing had put her in a state of bliss, and the underwear was soaking wet. He allowed the now discarded material to sit neatly by her feet, with all intentions of picking them up later on.

He used his hands to slowly part her cheeks, and his eyes widened as if he had struck gold.

'My God, Olivia.' he murmured, his voice now low and gravely.

'I missed you.' she sighed, her breath short and ragged as he neared her pussy.

Fitz leaned in slowly, and began placing open mouth kisses on her entrance. He worked his way down until he finally reached her clit. Olivia's body tensed in anticipation, but she held still for him while he did his work.

He sucked her nub into his mouth and began to flick his tongue over it repeatedly. Olivia couldn't help but let out a high pitched squeal and he mercilessly pleasured her. His hands continued to move, rubbing and occasionally smacking her ass.

As determined as he was to bring her to an orgasm, he wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to keep this up. His own arousal was starting to ache, but he didn't want to finish anywhere but inside of her. Her constant rubbing from before meant that he was hard as a rock, and he felt like he could blow at any moment.

Olivia's face dug into the white, lace tablecloth beneath her. Without the use of her hands, she found it extremely difficult to ground herself to anything to keep her upright. Her body began to naturally grind against Fitz's mouth, searching for anything more that it could offer to her.

She couldn't tell if it was the excitement of seeing him in person, the anticipation of finally having him after so long, the teasing beforehand, or just their natural intimacy level being heightened after being apart for so long; but Olivia was close. And it was building fast.

Fitz rubbed up and down her womanhood using his thumb, covering it in her flowing essence. He could feel her hips begin to shake and he knew her release began to steadily creep up on her. She was nearly dripping down her thighs, but he wanted more.

He used his wet digit to tease her at first, and then he slowly pushed it into the tight orifice of her ass. While they had never done anything like this before, it was something they had spoken about extensively over the last year so he knew she was open to it. Fitz continued until it was sheathed all the way down to his knuckle.

Her shaky thighs began to jerk as her body tried to get used to this new sensation. Olivia let out a noise that even she couldn't recognize coming out of her own mouth.

Fitz finally released her clit from his greedy mouth, placing a kiss on it. Her arousal was dripping down his chin, and he couldn't help but lick his lips.

'You like that?' he asked softly, checking in on her.

'Yes.' she nodded, although she was still a bit unsure of herself.

'More?' Fitz responded, now slowly sliding his thumb out.

It took her a moment to respond, but she eventually nodded her head again. 'Yes, daddy.'

'You hesitated.' he stated, halting his movements.

'I just have to get used to it.' Olivia reasoned.

'Tell me if it's too much.' Fitz instructed, this time replacing his thumb with his pointer and middle fingers.

Her back immediately arched, and she screamed as his thick digits intruded her body. He continued to move slowly, paying close attention to her body language as he did. Once he was sure that Olivia was relaxed, his mouth returned to clit and he continued his ministrations from before.

This was more than enough to be her downfall. The combination of pain and pleasure took her to new heights, as she continued to struggle to take both of his fingers. Her now spent body left a small puddle of sweat within the materials of the lace beneath her, and she wasn't exactly sure how she was standing upright.

Fitz finally stood up from his place on the floor, sliding his fingers out of her in the process. His cock was pressed against his bellybutton, and he couldn't help but grunt as he thought about being inside of her warmth.

He firmly grabbed both sides of her waist, lining his manhood perfectly with her entrance. Fitz's fingers squeezed down tightly, braving her to take all of him.

They both moaned in unison as he pushed inside of her, stretching her to accommodate his girth. Olivia didn't think she would ever get used to his size, but it was probably because they only got to do this a few times a year.

'That's my good girl.' Fitz encouraged from behind her. 'You feel so good.'

As much as he wanted to go slow and take his time, he knew he wouldn't be able to. After months of being apart, Olivia's portal was gripping him like a vice. His nails dug into her skin, her body nearly launching forward as his hips snapped into her with nearly all his force. His eyes began to water and cross as he felt his release close in on him.

Olivia's already wobbly legs were threatening to give out on her as he continued to ravish her from behind. Wearing heels had never been an issue before, but it was hard to concentrate on standing upright while he was hitting her spot with each and every thrust. As her eyes began to cross together the only thing that she could see was the bouquet of roses that he had brought with him, and a photo frame with their picture inside.

Using all the strength she had in her core, she managed to stand upright, her back pressed against his chest.

Fitz leaned into her, placing his chin on her shoulder as his lips searched for hers. Olivia's mouth met his, open and ready for anything that he had to offer.

'I love you.' he panted. Fitz was barely able to form a sentence at this point, so he surprised himself by even having the ability to say that.

'I love you.' Olivia echoed as their teeth clashed together.

Fitz's hands traveled up from her waist, finally giving it some relief from the pressure he had on it. In its wake he left two red handprints, and nail indentations that would surely take hours to disappear. His digits traveled up her body until they were able to cup both of her breasts into his large palms.

His movements started to become erratic, and he bit down on her bottom lip as his eyes began to roll to the back of his head. Olivia knew that he was about to finish, her inner muscles squeezing down on him even more now.

With a loud grunt, Fitz squirted his seed inside of her. He continued to pump as his breathing finally began to slow down a bit. He laid kisses up her cheek until he finally reached her temple, whispering sweet nothings into her ear as both of their bodies began to relax. The grip he had on her breasts began to loosen, his hands falling to the desk to give him something to lean on.

'I hope you brought something to clean up with.' Olivia murmured.

Fitz chuckled. 'Don't I always come prepared?'

'No.' Olivia said with a smirk of her own.

'Funny.' he retorted, nipping at her earlobe. 'Be still.'

Fitz pulled himself out of her slick portal, a mixture of their arousals threatening to drip as he did. He over and flipped up the lid of the picnic basket on the desk, grabbing a pack of wet wipes he had on top.

'You were obviously very confident you were going to get some.' she teased.

'Every time I see you, your panties fall off.' he teased, very grateful that her hands were still tied up behind her back. 'If I didn't know any better, Dr. Pope, I'd think you like me.'

'Ya, well I'll give my final answer after I see what's in that picnic basket.' she said matter of factly.

'Tough crowd.' he chortled as he opened up the pack of Cottenelle wipes. He grabbed a couple and proceeded to wipe down her thighs.

'I could do that myself if you untie me.'

'We're keeping that on you for the afternoon. You just can't seem to keep your hands to yourself.' Fitz threw the wipe in the trash and went back to grab another one to finish up.

'If I wanted you again I could have you, hands or not.' Olivia challenged, causing him to laugh.

Fitz closed the pack of wipes, and set them back on the desk. He gently undid the buckle of the belt keeping her wrists together, and freed her from her restraint. Olivia immediately sighed with relief as the pressure eased from her now aching shoulders.

When she finally turned to face him, she had the biggest smile he had ever seen on her face. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders and craned her neck upwards to lay a kiss on his lips.

'Hi.' she giggled, finally properly greeting him.

'Hi.' he responded, his lips curling up into a smile of his own.

Olivia continued peppering soft kisses all over his face, while he worked to unzip her skirt. As soon as he got it all the way down, gravity did the rest and it pooled down by her heels and discarded panties.

'I brought you some clothes.' he gestured towards the small suitcase he had lying by the couch. When she pulled back with her eyebrow cocked, he simply shrugged his shoulders. 'I told you I came prepared.'

'Indeed.' she confirmed, walking over to see what all he managed to scrounge up.

While Olivia explored her outfit options, Fitz opened the picnic basket up all the way so that they could finally have some lunch. He only had a few minutes to prepare after his flight landed, so he opted for her favorite meal at Boston Market instead of trying to throw a meal together.

Despite the fact that they didn't see each other very often, Olivia and Fitz both kept spare outfits at the other person's apartment. It was like having a little piece of each other physically at home, and served as a nice reminder while digging through their drawers. He packed one of her favorite outfits she enjoyed wearing to Boston, knowing she'd be most comfortable in it.

Olivia slipped into a new pair of panties that he had brought along, and then rescued her bra from underneath one of the chairs that it had gotten thrown under. At the bottom of the bag were a simple pair of jeans, a Star Wars t shirt that was a bit too big on her.

When she was done getting dressed, she joined Fitz who was now sitting on the floor atop of a blanket he had laid out. She sat right in between his parted legs, her body nearly melting into his.

'I still can't believe you're here.' she said for what seemed like the 10th time.

'In the flesh.' he playful nipped at her ear. Fitz handed her a bouquet of roses that had gone completely ignored before. 'These are for you.'

'You really shouldn't have.' Olivia said before grabbing them. 'I don't have anything for you, and you've gone through all this trouble.'

'It was a surprise,' he reasoned. 'You weren't supposed to get me anything.'

'I know.' she responded softly. 'I just feel so spoiled rotten right now with all of this.'

'Good.' Fitz hummed. 'You're supposed to be spoiled. My only regret is that I can't do it more often.'

Her fingers intertwined with his and she brought his hand to her mouth, placing a gentle kiss there. 'You're in school, Fitz. I know that you do what you can.'

'It's not too late for me to transfer, you know?' he suggested.

'It is.' her tone was stern, immediately knocking that thought out of the conversation.

'I should've brought this up a few minutes ago.' Fitz sighed. 'I could've gotten you to say yes to anything.'

'Aren't you happy at Harvard?' Olivia asked, but she already knew the answer. Despite the intense school work, and the fact that he missed her deeply, he had been having the time of his life. He has made a lot of friends, and he really enjoyed his professors.

'But I'd be much happier wherever you are. I miss you, Livvie.' he said, purposely sidestepping her question.

Fitz wrapped his arms around her body, and began kissing the side of her neck. Olivia knew exactly what he was trying to do, but she had to be strong.

'I don't want to be the reason you give up your dream, Fitz.' she said though baited breath.

'You are my dream, Olivia.' he said before sinking his teeth into the column of her neck.

She swallowed hard, her head tilting a bit to give him full access to her flesh. He was starting to get her riled up again, but she wasn't sure if she could take another round right then. Olivia tried to break free, but the grip he had over her was too strong.

'I have dreamed of nothing else except you since the day we met.' he continued, knowing that he was clouding her better judgement. 'You consume my every waking thought.'

'Being close to you is the only dream that I have worth fighting for.' Fitz's hands began to travel her body, and she began to writhe and squirm.

Eventually, she was able to break free from his grip. She immediately cleared her throat, and moved to the other side of the blanket. Olivia knew if they didn't put some space in between them things were going to heat back up again.

'Come back over here, baby.' he instructed, widening his legs a bit more.

'You stay in your corner, and I'll stay in mine.' she said with finality.

A/N: Just a little surprise drabble I had tucked away. Let me know if you're interested in another chapter or 2 of them. I do have a little plot in my head that we could explore.
