Into the Sacred Tree and Meeting the Spirit

Everyone has gathered at the Sacred Tree in the shrine as Moroha and Setsuna are ready to back to the Feudal Era, and this time Towa and Touta are coming with them to help with the big problems like helping Setsuna being able to sleep again and battle some demons along the way.

"Alright, we're about to get our adventure on, Time Traveling style!" Touta excited.

"Touta, we're only heading to one era." Towa reminded.

"It still counts!" Touta smiled.

"Moroha, the elder association want to give you a parting gift." Great grandpa Higurash handed Moroha a small bag fill with little stuff the elders put in.

"Hey, that's awesome! Give them my regard, will ya." Moroha smiled accepting the gift.

"Moroha, if you see Kagome, please tell her I said hi." Grandma Higurash said.

"Uh, yeah, you got it." Moroha chuckled nervously.

"Though I don't really know her." Moroha muttered to herself as she never knew about her mom until she came to this era.

"Don't worry, I bet my big brother is going to help you find your parents so you can be reunited." Isana believed.

"You really think so?" Moroha asked.

"Of course, that's just how he is. Always willing to help others." Honoka nodded.

"Oh, I can't believe we're sending off a once 500-year prodigy to the Feudal Era. Just promise you'll take care of the violin." Moe said to Setsuna.

"Yes, thank you and I'll play at nights I can't sleep." Setsuna said with a soft smile.

"And since you're going to the Feudal Era, maybe you can try wooing Touta's heart since there won't be any laws with one man having multiple mates." Moe whispered in Setsuna's ear.

"Will you PLEASE stop talking nonsense!" Setsuna snapped with her face blushing like crazy.

"Now Touta, remember to mind your manners in the Feudal Era and try not to cause any trouble for the girls." Zero advised.

"I will, mom, I'll be their guard wolf to the very end." Touta promised with his usually grin.

"I'll be going now." Towa said to Sota and Mei.

"Take care of yourself." Sota said, feeling sad that his first child is going, but knew it's the path she must go on.

"I'll miss you, you better come back, okay!" Mei said surprising Towa.

"You have to promise you'll come back. That goes for Touta, Setsuna, and Moroha. All of you better come home!" Mei yelled getting their attention.

"Come here." Towa lifted Mei into a hug.

"I'm gonna miss you, Mei. I can't make a promise, but I'll do my best." Towa said.

"That's no fair. You have to promise me." Mei pouted, then Touta comes in petting her head.

"Of course, we're gonna come back. Once everything is settled in the past, we are definitely coming back better than ever, and we'll have loads of fun so much that we'll sleep for a whole day!' Touta stated strongly.

"Hearing that from you, I bet it'll be something like that." Towa smiled and kissed Touta on the cheek making him blush.

"Come on, you two, we have to promise Mei." Towa said to Moroha and Setsuna.

"The Feudal Era isn't a place of fairytales, if you're not prepared to die." Setsuna was about to lecture the two.

"We are prepared, but that doesn't mean we're dying." Towa stated.

"Yeah, what motive people more is the drive to live which gives us more than being prepared to die, so you will be able to see the ones you love again upon returning." Touta believed.

"And that's what we're going to do, we'll come back in one piece." Towa smiled.

"Now before you all go, I must warn since you're going back to the past in the Feudal Era, there is a likely chance you may encounter the past me as well." Zero warned.

"Oh yeah, you mentioned once or twice about you having a little brother." Touta remembered.

"Yes, he is very powerful, more so than me, you could say, and I was a different person back then. So, don't be afraid to fight her if you must." Zero advised them to be cautious.

"To fight you, but why?" Towa confused.

"I'm afraid I cannot say anymore than that, you will have to find that out for yourself." Zero said.

"Okay, if we're done with the chatting, it's time to get this show on the road." Moroha walked up to the Sacred Tree.

"Oh man, I wish I brought my samurai costume. I would totally fit right in." Touta proclaimed smiling.

"Touta, your samurai costume has a cat tail, your fake katana is rainbow-colored, and you replaced the samurai helmet you lost with a Viking helmet." Towa reminded him.

"So, we could have told the folks it's demon magic in the silliest way possible." Touta said.

"You are so lucky, I love you." Towa hugged Touta.

"That reminds me, I believe you should have this with you." Zero handed Touta a black katana.

"What's this?" Touta asked.

"I blade I made many years ago with the help of a demon blacksmith, I know you're more of a fist fighter, but I believe it wouldn't hurt to have a blade as strong as its wielder and its name is Kuro ōkami no tsuki no ha (Blade of the Black Wolf Moon)." Zero explained.

"Wow, this looks cool! Thanks, mom!" Touta thanked as he held the sword.

"The Kuro ōkami no tsuki no ha, I think I'm gonna give it a nickname like Black Moon." Touta said.

"That's alright, as long as you keep that blade with you at all times because it was not easy to make." Zero said.

"Got it." Touta nodded.

"Okay, now we can get this show on the road." Moroha said walking up to the tree.

"Hey, Root Head, we're here and we want you to take us to the boring Era if you don't want Lady Zero to kill you." Moroha called out.

"I heard you, just don't let her touch me." Root Head said before making the Sacred Tree glow brightly of rainbow color and that light shot up toward the sky.

"Wow, do you think it's gonna reach the moon?" Touta amazed at the rainbow light pillar.

"I don't know about the moon, but there's no doubt that everyone is neighborhood would definitely see his." Towa pointed out.

"I still can't believe the world advanced so much that we can go to another planet!" Moroha smiled with her hands behind her heand.

(Feudal Era, with Kaede)

Kaede was meditation in her little house until she felt a strange power from her soul and went outside seeing the rainbow light pillar from a far.

"Lady Kaede!" Hisui called out as he runs up to her.

"Do you see that light?" Hisui asked.

"Indeed, it's coming from the Sacred Tree." Kaede noticed where that light is coming from.

"I think you're right. Is Setsuna coming back?" Hisui asked hoping that's the case.

"She just might be." Kaede said.

"Kiara!" Hisui said and the fire cat demon transformed into her bigger demon form flying with him on her face.

"I'll notify Uncle Kohaku!" Hisui said as they flew off to get his uncle.

(Back in the Modern Era)

In front of the Sacred front, a rainbow portal is opening up to Touta, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha.

"Okay, it's go time." Moroha said.

"Towa, is this what you came out of all those years ago?" Touta asked.

"Yeah, it's the same as before." Towa answered.

"Well then, we better get going." Touta lifted up Moroah's large bag and Setsuna's violin case throwing them into the rainbow portal.

"Hey! Why did you do that!" Moroha asked.

"I promise I wouldn't lose it!" Setsuna angered.

"Now, it's your turn!" Touta blitzed behind Moroha and Setsuna, lifting them onto his shoulders.

"What do you think you're doing?" Setsuna asked blushing a little embarrassment.

"You better not be throwing in there-AAAAAHHH?!" Moroha screamed as she and Setsuna were thrown into the rainbow portal.

"Was that really necessary?" Towa asked before suddenly being carried bride style by Towa.

"You ready for this?" Touta asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be." Towa chuckled and looked to her adopted family seeing Mei looking sad.

"Thank you being my family. I'll come back; I promise." Towa said.

"Me too, we're all coming back." Touta nodded and he jumps into the rainbow portal.

"You better come back, Towa! I love you!" Mei called out.

The rainbow portal closes as the strong suction wind stop meaning the girls and Touta have probably crossed to the other side by now.

Mei starts to cry now that she won't be able to see her big sister anymore for quite a long time along with not seeing Touta too because she thought of him as a good big brother and a good man for Towa too.

"I'm sure they'll come home." Moe believed.

"Of course, they're our family." Sota agreed.

"They're my adorable great-grandchildren." The elder Higurashi cried.

"Yes, they are, and Touta is also family too. So, all of them are wonderful." Granny Higurashi smiled.

"I couldn't agree with you more. All that is left for us to do is have faith their journey will lead them to where they must go." Zero looked up staring at the full moon.

"By the way, what power does that sword you gave your son do?" Sota asked.

"Well, let just say it lets him be one with the darkness of his surroundings." Zero chuckled, giving him a hint to figure out.

"(Not to mention, they will also find out the truth about the seven Rainbow Pearls.)" Zero thought.

(Inside the Rainbow Portal)

Setsuna and Moroha are flying within the portal and ahead of Touta and Towa, the latter is looking around getting this familiar feeling.

"(That's right, when I was four, I passed through this exact same corridor.)" Towa thought remembered.

"Just up ahead is the Feudal Era, then our adventure to restore Setsuna's dream can begin. Are you excited?" Touta asked.

"I guess it's more like determine than excited." Towa smiled.

"I must admit, Moroha, I'm glad you didn't try making a deal with the demon like giving him our Rainbow Pearls." Setsuna said.

"Come on, you're saying like something bad could happen. If it does then I'll just kill it." Moroha grinned, then realize something just now.

"Wait a minute, Setsuna. Did you just call me by my name?" Moroha asked surprise.

Setsuna gasped a little of what she just said out loud.

"Is that a problem?" Setsuna asked.

"Nope, not at all. I kind of like it." Moroha smiled.

"Aw, you two are really becoming friends. That's great." Touta complimented as he floats between them.

"Don't think I won't forgive for that little stunt you did with throwing us into the corridor." Setsuna glared.

"Sorry, I just wanted to get there as soon as we can." Touta chuckled.

"I guess I can forgive you, but you owe me one." Moroha said.

"Hey, what's that light?" Touta asked.

The three half-demon girls look to where Touta is this light coming from the bottom of the portal tunnel as it glows brighter until it engulfs all four of them.

(Unknown Spiritual Location)

The scene shows a large dark place with a glowing transparent blue tree with what appears to be a girl inside wearing a white robe.

"A decade worth of time has passed, the half-demon princesses travel beneath my feet and along with them a half-demon boy born from that demon woman." A mysterious glowing woman said walking up to the tree.

"A little unexpected, but that will not change from my prediction that it corrects then those four will indeed save the world." The mysterious glowing woman said.

"For now, I will let Root Head sleep." The mysterious glowing woman waved her hand at the big eye looking up at her causing it to close its eye.

(With Touta and the Half-Demon Girls)

"You know, kind of imagine the Feudal would be more open and less darkness or we could have ended up in another dimension." Touta said as they walk together.

They found themselves inside a strange wooden-like cave with tunnels as they have no idea what happened during their portal trip, and now they walk trying to see if they can find a way out of here.

"You have a weird imagination, but this definitely feels wrong here." Moroha wondered what happened.

"Stay alert, you all." Setsuna advised.

"You us down the wrong path, didn't you, Moroha?" Towa asked.

"How was I supposed to do that when there was only one path?" Moroha pointed out.

"She does have a point; I think that weird light thing we saw must have been behind this." Touta guessed.

"Towa, Touta, you should be aware. In the Warden Era, there's no room for hesitation." Setsuna said.

"Yeah, I get that." Towa said wondering where her long-lost twin sister is getting at.

"My mom always told to be cautious even when it seems like you won the battle in the end." Touta mentioned.

"Good advice, and if you don't strike down your enemies first, they will kill you." Setsuna said.

"If it just you without your boyfriend, you might be fine. But if you're gonna screw up and get yourself killed, better not drag us down with ya." Moroha added earning an angry look from Towa.

"Don't worry, I know you're strong and even stronger when we work together." Touta believed.

"Aw, thanks, Touta." Towa smiled.

"Up ahead!" Setsuna alerted as they look to where she is staring at.

"What is that thing?" Moroha asked.

The four half-demons have found themselves what appears to be an open space area with a big pillar-like with a bright light inside like it's something important.

"I'm no excerpt of weird things, but it looks like a core of some kind." Touta said.

Then the glowing light started to take form changing into the appearance of a woman dressing in a priestess outfit.

"I've been expecting you, Half-demon princesses and prince." The mysterious glowing woman said.

"Prince and princesses, is she talking about us?" Touta confused.

"I believe so since she is looking directly at us." Setsuna said as she and the girls brace themselves in their fighting stance.

"Do you think that's Root Head?" Towa asked Moroha.

"Don't think so, there's no demon energy." Moroha answered.

"Yeah, and she doesn't seem to be our enemy either." Touta said getting a feeling from his instinct.

"Who are you?" Setsuna asked.

"I can the Tree of Ages." The mysterious glowing woman revealed herself.

"The Tree of Ages, does that mean we're inside its own body?" Touta shocked.

"I guess that would make sense of where we are, but is the Tree of Ages supposed to look like a Priestess?" Moroha asked.

"No, this is only a borrowed appearance. The form you see before you was born from the spirit of the arrow of sealing that was embedded in my trunk, I believe the priestess to whom it belonged to was Kikyo." The Tree of Ages Spirit explained.

"Kikyo?" Moroha confused.

"I get the feeling she must have been someone important." Touta said.

"Are you the one who summoned us to this place?" Setsuna asked.

"Yes, am I. I have a request, daughters of Sesshōmaru." Spirit of the Tree of Ages said.

"Ha! See, I told you, you were his kids." Moroha smirked, glad to be right.

"Oh, does that mean the tree also knows who your parents are too?" Touta asked.

"Uh, well, I guess if she knew their dad then I guess she would also know my parents as well." Moroha considered it.

"I do, now please remain silent until I am finish speaking. That goes for you too, Son of Zero." Spirit of the Tree of Ages said.

"Okay, what is your request?" Towa asked.

"There is a demon I want you to slay." Spirit of the Tree of Ages answered.

"You got it, it's Root Head, right?" Moroha asked.

"If he's borrowing you because of how he is latched onto your roots, then we'll be happy to help with that." Touta offered.

"It's not, Root Head is of no consequences. The one I want slain is the Beast King, Kirinmaru." Spirit of the Tree of Ages revealed the name of demon.

"(Why do I feel like I somehow know that name?)" Touta thought confused at himself.
