Happy Halloween!

Unfortunately, I was only able to write two chapters for this fic. This one will be a little longer than "Toxic". It's an idea I had stuck in my head for several years now and I'm glad that I'm finally writing it. Hopefully it will turn out exactly the way I want it.

I hope you guys enjoy.

Happy Halloween!

Oxford Not Brogues

Chapter Two

Sebastian was only capable of shaking his head in disappointment as his old companion provoked the girl who he was trying to have a serious discussion with.

"Come at me, darling!" Alucard's baritone voice resonated through the alleyway. Such a large, insane grin grew on his face while his red eyes burned with arousal. "Show me your beautiful wrath! Get me harder than I already am!"

"That's sick!" Seras exclaimed with a look of repulsion. Much to his joy, the little reaper came right at him. She swung her hatchet down, aiming straight for his chest, but he moved just in time. Alucard cackled and his dark red eyes simmered with arousal as he moved swiftly to the side to avoid her attack. "How could you talk to someone like that, you creep?!" She again swung her hatchet at him, but the man was far too agile for her. As if he was lighter than air, he moved backwards with such grace, missing her hatchet by an inch. Alucard's heated gaze stayed glued to her face, not even bothering to see where the hatchet would go.

"I wasn't just talking to anyone." The vampire purred. He showed off his incisors with a wide, sick grin. "I was speaking to my mate. My cock is throbbing for you, my little death goddess." Seras came to a halt when she heard exactly what he said. Her eyes widened and her mouth gaped open in disbelief.

"What?" She whispered just before she was tackled from behind. The demon she had stupidly forgotten about suddenly had her in his grasp. He tightly had a hold of her wrists, preventing her from swinging her hatchet so she couldn't attack Alucard further. The little reaper glanced over her shoulder in fear, realizing the dangerous position she put herself in. Never turn your back on a demon! She was so bloody stupid! How could she forget?! The girl immediately began to struggle in attempt to break free from his hold. Unfortunately, no matter how much she struggled, he barely budged. With a deep frown, the demon sighed in disappointment when seeing his little mate trying desperately to escape.

"Let me finish what I was about to say before Alucard so rudely interrupted." The demon raised his voice. On cue, the elder vampire let out a sharp laugh, as if what the demon said had been funny. But, of course, the demon ignored him and continued. "Perhaps you're too young to understand or to sense it, or maybe reapers don't condone it, which is why it was never explained to you. But we, Alucard and I, are your mates." His words had no effect on her. She proceeded to struggle in his hold.

"Let me go!" Seras yelled. Almost immediately she was released. Her eyes widened as she stumbled forward, nearly losing her footing. Had it really been that easy? He just let her go because...she asked him to? Seras didn't give it a moment's thought, though. The second she was free, she swiftly turned and swung her hatchet upwards right at the demon. However, the demon had already predicted her move and was acting. With ease, his one arm shot out to hit her arm out of the way, making her miss her target. He looked annoyed, frustrated, and maybe even hurt that she wasn't listening to him.

"Why are you attacking us?" The demon asked in a hard tone. "We have done nothing to you. We aren't even fighting back. Are all reapers this hotheaded and aggressive?" Sebastian's eyes flared brightly before becoming a dark smolder, like embers in a dying fire. With every attack, he simply moved or used his arm to block it. But he never returned the attack by striking or kicking her. How easy it would have been too. Most definitely, if she was an opponent, she would have been dead by now. How long was she going to keep at this? Had she even heard what he said? Why was she choosing to ignore it? How can he get through to her to make her understand that what they were saying was the absolute truth? And then it came to him. He knew exactly what to do. Seras was disturbed when a wide, malicious smirk crept across the demon's lips. The way he gazed at her with those horrid red eyes like she was a treat he wanted to snatch up. It sickened her. It made her stomach churn and her heart lurch in her chest. She was terrified. The little reaper went pale in the face. She was out of breath and debating if she should continue this fight or just make a run for it. Instinctively, her body proceeded to fight for her, waiting for the right opportunity to run. But the demon did something that really threw her off. Instead of moving backwards like he had been doing, he instead came right at her, looking similar to a black panther pouncing towards his prey.

Before she could even swing her hatchet, Sebastian grabbed her tightly by her wrist. With his other hand, he lovingly cupped the side of her face and stroked her cheek. And before she could even gasp or groan his lips were on hers. Those bright green eyes of hers widened in utter shock. The second their lips met, things...changed. Her heart beat uncontrollably in her chest. Not out of fear, but excitement. Her stomach had butterflies and her mind was racing. Such warmth came from that kiss along with other questionable feelings that left her so confused but ecstatic. She had never been kissed before, but she understood perfectly what others meant by fireworks. There was a symphony of fireworks inside of her, making her feel so...alive. It was truly the first positive thing she experienced, had felt, in over a decade. And she loved it. The kiss had only lasted at the most five seconds before the demon abruptly pulled away to see the results. Once their kiss had ended, Seras found that she was absolutely baffled by his play style. He had kissed her?! He just stole her first kiss?! Her cheeks burned with a dark blush. The feeling of fireworks vanished as mortification set in. Oh, God! A demon kissed her and she liked it! This was so bad! So very, extremely bad! God, was she being manipulated?! Would a demon go so far to manipulate someone?! Probably!

"Well?" Sebastian purred. There was such a haughty look in his eyes and a wide smile on his face. He leaned his face in closer towards hers as he proceeded to stroke over her cheek. Speechless, scared, and confused, Seras moved her head back away from his as she made a whimper sound of distress. "Does that prove to you that what I've been trying to tell you is indeed the truth?"

"No!" Seras blurted without thinking, causing his smile to fall completely from those perfect lips. He looked stunned by her answer. He had been certain that he had gotten through to her. How could he have been wrong? Had he not kissed her for long enough to let the message sink in? Before he could kiss her again, Seras was acting. She kicked him hard in the kneecap, forcing his leg to bend the wrong way. Sebastian grunted as he collapsed to the filthy ground of the alley. Once free, the little reaper hopped over his body, fully intending to escape before things escalated.

"Damn it, girl!" The demon hissed in frustration. Why wouldn't she just listen?! It never occurred to him that his mate would act like this; be scared of them as if they would hurt her. He thought that when he found her, she would be understanding and loving; that she would know who they were because she could sense it. Why didn't she want to be with them? Why did their mate hate them like everyone else? She was supposed to be the last person on this earth to hate them. This was cruel. Sebastian was absolutely livid. His mate was a little hellion that kept trying to attack them all so she could escape. What have they done wrong? Why did they deserve this type of treatment? His leg healed and he climbed to his feet with ease. Lifting his gaze, he found the small blonde trying to run from them.

"Foolish," He scoffed. With a wave of his hand, a dark shadowy barrier blocked the girl's exit. The small blonde nearly ran straight into it. Coming to a dead stop, she stumbled, but managed to regain her balance by throwing out her arms. After recollecting herself, she looked up at the tall black barrier in surprise. The demon snickered before he casually glanced over his shoulder at the vampire. "Alucard, did you know that reapers are completely blind without their glasses?" When hearing this, Seras gasped and her whole body stiffened. If he took her glasses, how will she be able to escape?! What could she do?! She would be vulnerable!

"You wouldn't dare!" Seras exclaimed as she turned to throw a glare at the demon, but he was no longer there. Just the vampire stood there staring at her with a creepy grin on his face. Her eyes flickered around in search for the other male. Where did he go? In preparation for the sneak attack, the little reaper raised her hatchet. She took a cautious step back, hoping to press herself up against the barrier, but instead she ran right into someone. Seras gasped and quickly spun around. Before she could fully turn to face him, Sebastian plucked the glasses right off of her face. Luckily, the girl had brought her hatchet down just as he was sliding her glasses off. Seras heard a satisfying growl from the demon and felt the impact of her hatchet slicing into his arm.

"Will you please stop swinging that damn hatchet?!" Sebastian raised his voice. Angrily, he removed the hatchet that stuck out of his arm and threw it on the ground. Blood gushed from the fresh wound and his good shirt was cut up, but he attempted to ignore it for the time being, especially since his mate was so scared. The small blonde, looking absolutely terrified now that she was completely defenseless, stepped back away from him. Her eyes wavered in their sockets as she kept them on him. He could only guess that he was currently a black, unidentifiable figure in her vision. Gingerly, he closed her glasses and set them carefully in his pants pocket to keep them safe for her. "I'm sorry for raising my voice." The demon whispered before he cupped his bleeding arm. "I only wish to talk to you and...the hatchet was getting in the way of that." He stepped closer towards her, but seeing her move further back away from him, he quickly stopped. "Sorry," He apologized again and decided to stay put. "I don't mean to frighten you. I just...want you to understand." Sebastian leaned over to pick up the girl's death scythe. He then slipped the handle through one of his belt loops, allowing the hatchet to hang freely, but securely on his hip.

Seras was beyond scared. Her vision was completely blurry and what was even worse was that it was night time. At least during the day if she lost her glasses, it was a bit easier to make out the blurs. But at night it was basically impossible. She was totally blind and could only listen for sounds. But all she could truly hear was her excessive breathing and her racing heart. She couldn't calm down or focus. She felt so trapped! Her chest became heavy as a panic attack started to set in.

"It's alright," Sebastian attempted to calm her when seeing that she was freaking out.

"What do you want from me?!" Seras yelled while she hyperventilated.

"To understand," The demon repeated. "We don't want to hurt you."

"Then why did you take my glasses?!" She shouted.

"Because you were trying to run." He defended his actions. "This is certainly not the way I wanted us to meet. I apologize that it turned out like this. We've made a terrible first impression."

"Like her impression was any better than ours?" Alucard snickered. "She started the fight. She even got one of us." The demon glanced down at his wound. Death scythes were definitely tricky weapons, even for a demon. Getting hit by one, the wound took hours, sometimes even days to heal. Blood was still pouring down his arm and the wound burned, but he was able to ignore it.

"Alucard, you're not making this easier." Sebastian sighed.

"Oh, but you are? You blinded the poor girl and you expect her to trust us?" The vampire scoffed.

"I'm doing the best I can to get through to her." The demon responded.

"Why don't I keep a fucking spare?!" Seras growled in frustration before she hastily checked her pockets, as if a pair of glasses would magically appear in one. "People kept telling me to keep a spare and I just wouldn't listen." She grumbled to herself as she proceeded to check all of her pockets for a second time.

"So, you just have a knack of not listening. Well, that makes me feel better. I won't take it so personally then." Sebastian spoke.

"Go to hell!" The little reaper yelled as she threw a dark look in his direction.

"Telling a demon to go to hell?" Alucard chuckled. "That isn't much of an insult or even a good comeback."

"Get stuffed!" Seras responded.

"So, you resort to being vulgar when backed into a corner? How is that helpful?" The demon sighed in disappointment.

"You have no room to talk after all of the filthy things your friend said to me." The girl clicked her tongue and folded her arms over her chest.

"I do apologize for that as well." He muttered.

"Enough with the empty apologies and just give me back my glasses!" Seras growled before she held out her hand. The demon frowned.

"You believe that my apologies are meaningless?" He questioned her.

"Give me back my glasses!" The small blonde repeated.

"Why do you pretend that nothing happened?" Sebastian asked her then. This seemed to have silenced Seras for the first time since they made their presence known to her. The anger flitted out of her eyes as another expression appeared on her face. But for the life of him, the demon couldn't decipher that look. Was she confused? Scared? Maybe embarrassed? So, she was aware that there was something there in that kiss, but was trying to ignore it. He concluded. Why though? Why ignore it instead of embrace it? "You wouldn't believe my words, so I thought I would show you the truth through a kiss." Another moment of silence dragged on between them. The little reaper was now full on frowning. There was a faint blush on her cheeks while she kept her head and gaze lowered. Even though she couldn't see him, she was afraid to look at him. "Are you ashamed? Or maybe…you just don't believe it. Is that it?"

"Perhaps she needs further convincing." Alucard purred who was now directly behind the small blonde. Seras' head perked up and her eyes widened when hearing how close he was now. She barely had a chance to do anything before he was grabbing her by the shoulder and forced her to turn. A large red blur came into her view before she was slammed back against the wall of a building. Automatically, her hands flung out to grab the man by his arms, trying her best to keep him at bay.

"Stop!" Seras whimpered and, like a scared child, she closed her eyes. She was unable to keep him at arm's length. With ease, the man moved forward until she could feel his hot breath wafting over her face. The little reaper couldn't help but envision a big, black wolf huffing in her face with razor sharp teeth bared as he salivated. Was she about to get gobbled up by this monster? One of her hands flung up to try and shove his face way from hers, knowing full well that he could bite her, but she still wanted to take the risk just to survive. She managed to make contact with his face and to get a good shove in before he grabbed her by the wrist and threw her arm over her head to pin it against the wall. "Stop!" The girl breathed heavily. She was so damn scared and didn't know what to do. Was she going to die?

"Alucard, you're being awfully rough and scaring her!" The demon lectured the vampire. "This isn't helping our situation! You're making it worse!" Just as Sebastian was saying those words, Alucard leaned the rest of the way in and kissed the little reaper deeply on the mouth. All at once, those strange feelings from before came rushing back to her; the warmth, tenderness, passion, and especially the fireworks. Seras became frozen. She stopped wiggling to try and escape. All of her muscles relaxed, even though she was a little tense still. The monster kissed her with such eagerness, such hunger with...cute, little growls in between. Monster? Wolf? Suddenly those words felt so very wrong to use. Would a monster be kissing her so tenderly right now? Her heart rate calmed as the fear slipped away. Her stomach felt like it was doing somersaults from excitement. Her knees trembled, but in a good way. The kiss was so...mind-numbing and his taste was absolutely intoxicating. She was dizzy from all of it.

Alucard's lips froze against hers, instantly disappointing her. He then slowly moved back with the intentions to end the kiss. But something spoke inside of Seras. Something called out to this male and drove her to act before he escaped her. The little reaper bolted up and connected her lips back with his. This must have surprised the vampire because he grunted softly in her mouth from the small attack. He was bewildered further when Seras kissed him with match hunger while she gave such sweet moans of passion. Finally, Alucard thought before he kissed her back hard. Sebastian stared at the two with wide eyes. He was astounded by what he was seeing. The kiss had most certainly changed the girl's mind and made her realize something but he could only feel frustration. Subconsciously, the demon pressed his fingertips against his lips. What had been wrong with his kiss? Why hadn't his mate responded to him like that? Instead she had broken his leg just to get away from him. Had he not kissed her for long enough? Or maybe...she wasn't his mate? No. Sebastian turned away from that thought. He knew for a fact that this little reaper was his mate. He could feel it, his very being cried out for her, wanted her. Her soul is what drew him to her. His hard gaze narrowed on the small blonde. The little reaper was his and he'll prove it to her and himself.

The ill-tempered demon stalked down that alleyway towards the passionate creatures that hungrily kissed one another. Sebastian was starving for those lips, growing more and more possessive and jealous seeing her with Alucard like that. The two agreed to share her, but thus far she only showed affection towards Alucard; ignoring him completely. It hurt far worse than anything that has ever happened to him. It was a good thing the little reaper was blind because he was currently losing control of himself. A black aura surrounded his entire form, simmering and shaping to show his rage. His glowing red eyes were as sharp as a knife and would have the strongest of men die of fright. When reaching them, the demon stopped to glower at Alucard. The vampire merely smirked when sensing the danger in the air. Calmly, the No Life King pulled away from their mate's warm, sweet lips to grin openly at Sebastian. It was evident that Seras was highly upset when his lips left hers. Lost in that haze of pleasure, the small blonde stood up on her tip toes in search for her mate's lips. She even gave a little whine, sounding as if she was begging to be kissed again.

Before the demon could say anything, Alucard took Seras by the arm and spun her around to crush her back against his front. Lovingly he wrapped his arms around her as he teased her by nibbling and kissing her throat. The little reaper was like putty in his arms. She leaned back against him to bury herself in that warmth. However, she wasn't able to relish long in the male's body heat. Sebastian pinched her chin between his fingers and roughly turned her head so she faced him. Without speaking a word to her, he leaned down to crush his lips against hers. The demon was immediately comforted by the warm kiss, relieving him of all that pain. His anger and jealousy melted away. He parted from those luscious lips to smile warmly at her. The little reaper was still blind as a bat, and he decided that it was time she gained her sight back.

Carefully, he pulled her glasses from his pocket and slid them back onto her face so she could see properly. The little reaper blinked several times before focusing her gaze on him. Then, much to his delight, she smiled up at him while a cute blush tainted her cheeks. He became enthralled when Seras jumped up to wrap her arms around his neck and kiss him hard. She showed him the same passion and kissed him back with such enthusiasm. Yes. The demon hissed in excitement as he took their kiss up a notch. Fall deeper into the passion, little reaper, become theirs forever. He swept his tongue into her mouth to deepen their kiss further. His mate buried her fingers in his hair, much to his pleasure, and moaned. Those moans, once having been sweet were now upgrading to being erotic and needy. It made his cock throb for her. He took those moans as an invitation to the next level. His fingers slipped from her chin so his hands could smooth down her body. He first unbuttoned her black coat and pushed it open. His wandering hands then moved up towards her tie.

Seras had been utterly lost in the new feelings they brought to her. She was overwhelmed and excited. For the moment, it didn't matter to her what they were or that they were supposed to be her enemies. Kissing them, being with them all felt so incredibly right. This is what she wanted. This is where she belonged. These were her feelings until she felt the demon fumble to undo her black tie. It didn't cross her mind why he was untying it. She proceeded to kiss him with eagerness and played with his tongue in her mouth. It wasn't until she felt him unbutton the first few buttons on her shirt did she realize what he was going for. Seras gasped and jerked her head back away from his lips. Sebastian immediately stopped when seeing the way she responded.

"What's wrong?" He asked her immediately. The small blonde looked at him in horror. Her eyes flickered about his face as if she was seeing him for the very first time, only…as if she was seeing the true creature that was just beneath this skin. Cautiously, the demon glanced down at his hands to make sure that out of his excitement he hadn't accidentally morphed to his true form. Thankfully, he was still very much in his mortal form. Then what had bothered his little mate? He looked back at her worriedly with furrowed brows. "Reaper?" He whispered. "Have I done something?" It dawned on Seras just how far she took this. She had succumbed to the monsters' kisses; had enjoyed and craved it. A feeling of pure panic washed over her. What bothered her further was just how far they wanted to take it with her. They wanted to have sex?! Was that what they were after this entire time?! Her eyes burned with fresh tears as her bottom lip trembled. It became hard to breathe, like a great weight was suddenly on top of her chest. What had she been thinking? What was she doing? How did she succumb so easily? She felt so stupid having kissed them, believing them, only to find out that there was only one thing they were truly after. She was foolish for believing in this whole mate stuff. She should have known that she was just being manipulated. Fresh tears slid down her pale cheeks. Something stirred in the demon's eyes, a look of concern perhaps, but she wasn't able to tell.

"What's wrong?" Sebastian asked her again, looking truly alarmed and worried about her. But she wasn't going to fall for it! She won't be tricked again by him! Hurt and angry, Seras pushed him away from her, using all of her strength just to do it. The demon did stumble back, looking stunned and ever so confused. "Mon chaton?" He whispered. "What is it?" Rudely, the girl elbowed Alucard in the stomach, causing him to take a step back with a loud grunt. The second she was free, though they hadn't kept her restrained, the little reaper defied gravity. Jumping up into the air, she landed on the ledge of a close building. "Wait!" Sebastian exclaimed. He and Alucard chased after her without second thought. Like her, they practically soared right up onto the same ledge. Fortunately, the Reaper hadn't got far when they landed on top of the roof. The poor dear had broken down and was crying her eyes out in the middle of the roof. "What happened?" The demon asked, sounding like he truly cared.

"Stay away from me!" Seras yelled at them. Alucard and Sebastian frowned when hearing this from their mate. They were so confused of what happened. One minute she was a passionate girl who kissed them with such tenderness and excitement. And now she was crying and yelling at them to leave her alone. What had they done wrong? How could it have gone wrong so fast?

"Why?" The demon asked.

"What the fuck did you think was going to happen?!" The small blonde shouted as she glared at them through giant tears. Her clothes were disheveled from their goofing off. Her chest heaved up and down with every harsh breath. Her face was pale and sickly looking as tears stained her cheeks. And there was such hatred and disgust in her eyes as she stared at them. The sight wounded them. "You just start undressing me, like...like I was going to just have sex with you in the middle of that alleyway, like I'm some...whore just trying to get my pay for the night?! How is that anyway to treat any girl?!" She asked them in a panic. Her hands helping her do the talking as she flung them about and used to gestured. "You both claim that I'm your mate! But now I think it was just words you used to try and manipulate me just so you can screw me! It's sick! I've never been kissed or touched before, and you're both pawing at me and trying to get under my clothes like desperate perverts!"

Sebastian and Alucard stared at her in shock. They hated seeing their little mate in tears and feeling as if she was violated by them. That wasn't their intention to ever make her feel like that. And they were completely speechless after learning that she was still a virgin. They hadn't known this and hadn't thought to ask her. Judging by her age and her being a reaper, they assumed that her flower was given away a long time ago. But they were wrong, and this made them look like villains in her eyes. She was so upset, hurt, and angry, and they knew that nothing could be said to make this situation better. Their mate loathed them for their actions.

"Just leave me alone! And try not to bother or corner some other defenseless girl on your way home!" Seras growled as she glowered at them. The demon's gaze lowered and he frowned. This wasn't the way it was supposed to happen. How did it turn out like this? Just a moment ago, she was seeing things their way. She was kissing them and smiling, and now…He didn't even know what to think. He was just still so confused on how they even got here. He had started undressing her, making her feel dirty in the process, and now she was crying her eyes out. The action had been so small in his eyes; so…normal and habitual. It should have occurred to him that she probably wouldn't feel the same. Why did he take things so fast? Sebastian thought shamefully, repeatedly blaming himself and unable to look his mate in the eye.

"I am truly sorry if we made you uncomfortable. That wasn't our intentions, little goddess." The demon whispered. "We'll leave you alone." When he wasn't given a response, he slowly placed her hatchet down in front of him on the roof. He heard his mate sniffle and saw her use her coat sleeve to wipe her tears away. It only made him feel worse. The demon and vampire disappeared, leaving their crying mate all alone to deal with her pain and anger. The males appeared in a dark, barren kitchen in their temporary home. It was all the way on the other side of London, giving them a good distance from their weeping mate. Sebastian was grumbling incoherently under his breath as he snatched a kitchen towel from off the counter. He wrapped it around his wounded arm to stop the bleeding and sop up the blood that coated him. He added pressure before he finally turned to look at the vampire. Even though Alucard's attention was on something else completely, the demon started up a conversation.

"That was an utter disaster!" Sebastian growled in fury. "We completely pulverized any relationship we could have with her! We acted like absolute moronic barbarians! We terrified the poor girl and tried reasoning with her in the worst way possible! But she wouldn't listen and I got frustrated!" He ranted on, still oblivious that Alucard was not paying him any mind. "I was certain the kiss would change her mind, and it did for a moment! But then, like a complete idiot, I tried moving it along but only ended scaring the little reaper! Did you have any idea that she was a virgin? Could you sense or smell it?" Alucard finally met his gaze.

"No," He answered simply. His eyes slowly shifted down to look at nothing in particular. "It was the way she acted when she kissed us, like..." He trailed off as he searched for the right words.

"She's done this before?" Sebastian finished for him.

"Exactly," The vampire muttered. He looked entirely deep in thought as he recalled the pressure on his lips from that extraordinary kiss. "She kissed us so naturally, like it wasn't her first time. And it definitely wasn't a bad kiss either; quite the opposite. The kiss only made me hunger for her more. It made me want her more." A frightening look appeared in the monster's eyes the more he thought about that kiss. "I could practically feel the blood and adrenaline rushing through my veins. Much like you, I was ready to take her right then and there. That's all I could think about; all I really wanted. To lose myself between her thighs and show her endless pleasure." Something else then appeared in Alucard's eyes. It was a look of longing and a deep sadness. "So very little time we had spent with our mate and I'm already certain that I want to be by her side for the rest of eternity. She was so feisty, but pure. And the brief moment she was happy, the way she looked at us was...bewitching and soothing. I never want her to look at me any other way again." The male then scowled when something new occurred to him. "But our mate is afraid and hates us. Most likely another sick trick played on us by God." Sebastian then sighed and dropped his head.

"Perhaps it is," He murmured.

"Winning her over may prove to be difficult." Alucard grumbled.

"It could be impossible…or simple." Sebastian responded before he lifted his head to look back at Alucard. The vampire gave him a confused look with furrowed brows, earning a smirk from the demon. "We just have to change our tactic. Now knowing that she's a virgin, we know that a slow seduction is in order."

"But she can't stand the sight of us." Alucard reminded him with a shrug. "How can we get anywhere near her after what happened tonight?"

"I'm sure that very much like us, the Reaper can't get that kiss out of her head. She kissed us back willingly, which means that she felt a stirring inside of her and knew that we spoke the truth about being her mates." Sebastian answered as the smirk on his face widened. "I think we just need to give her some time alone before showing ourselves again."

"And if she still hates us?" Alucard scoffed.

"A slow seduction, Alucard. We'll take as much time as needed until our little goddess of death feels comfortable around us." The demon purred with a look of confidence. "Let's take this 'old school' and be proper, worthy suitors for her." This brought a large grin to Alucard's face. He couldn't hold back his chuckles.

"It has been a very long time since I last courted someone, but it should be fun." The vampire responded before he pulled something from his coat pocket. Sebastian was surprised when Alucard raised a familiar black book.

"Is that the reaper's?" The demon questioned.

"Her schedule," The No Life King elaborated and he flipped open the book. "She isn't very busy tomorrow, only a couple of souls to gather. But at eleven tomorrow night, her shift should be finished."

"A little late at night for a date, but it should be doable." Sebastian thought carefully about it as he pinched his chin. "Let's start preparing. We'll need a better approach, and let's choose our words carefully this time. We will salvage this, Alucard. In the meantime," The demon glanced down at his arm. Blood had completely soaked through the towel and was dripping down to his fingers. His shirt was ruined, there was no saving it. "I'm going to go tourniquet this better."

Seras was blinded by the tears that she desperately tried wiping away. Using her coat sleeves, she roughly rubbed over face as she sobbed and sniffed. Her heart was beating so hard in her chest and her stomach felt so twisted inside of her, like she was going to be sick any minute. Her bottom lip trembled while she took raspy breaths of air. Her hands and knees shook, but she managed to stay in an upright position. Needless to say, the girl was beyond confused. She was still trying to process everything that happened only moments ago. Creepy men showed up and she thought they were after the soul she was reaping. But...she had been wrong? She still wasn't sure. What had they been after? They claimed she was their mate, but how could that be? She just wasn't positive if that was true or not! How can she be sure that they weren't lying to her, trying to manipulate her so they get whatever it is that they wanted?

What was it that they wanted? Did they think that if they got on her good side she would sneak them souls? Or were they truly just after her? Did they just want to fuck someone and she was the closest around? What would've happened if she had let them...fuck her? Would they have immediately discarded her afterwards? Would they have killed her? Maybe torture her first and then kill her? What did they want from her? What if they were telling her the truth? Seras sniffed before she finally gave up trying to wipe her tears away. She slowly lowered her hands, allowing her glasses to fall back into place on her face. Her face was a light shade of red from crying so much and her cheeks were all wet. She allowed the tears to flow freely down her face. What if they hadn't lied to her and she was truly their mate? Seras closed her eyes and groaned as she hung her head. She didn't understand anything anymore. How was she supposed to feel? How was she supposed to deal with this?

Completely miserable and exhausted from the long night, Seras dropped to her knees. Her eyes found their way to the lonesome crescent moon and, for a second, she admired it and appreciated its company. She shifted her legs out from under her body to hug them to her chest. The tired reaper placed her chin on top of her knees and went on looking at the moon through her tears. If Alucard and that demon were telling her the truth...Seras frowned. How could she be sure that they had spoken the truth? With a deep sigh, she closed her eyes. If they...were truly bad...wouldn't they have acted far worse than they had? Neither of them tried to steal the souls she had been reaping. They stayed a respectful distance away and allowed her to finish her job without any interruptions. When she attacked them, they hadn't fought back. Alucard had said some filthy things to her, but she could hardly call him evil for that. He was just another pervert she had to deal with. And what about that demon? Even when she struck him with her hatchet, he still hadn't retaliated in anyway. He didn't hurt her or threaten her. And then there was the kiss she shared with the both of them. Seras had never felt that way in her entire existence. She had felt...alive when kissing them. Something inside of her responded to those males; something inside of her wanted them. She still wasn't quite sure what that part of her was, but she could still feel it. It was so intense, kind of overwhelming. It scared her how much she craved to feel their lips back on hers. It also scared her that...she missed them.

How could she miss someone she barely even knew?! It worried her a great deal, but she was unable to suppress that feeling of loneliness and longing inside of her. But those monsters got too handsy with her. The demon had tried working her out of her top. What did he think was going to happen after that?! Seras closed her eyes even tighter as she gripped her legs hard. Her body shook while she fought to cry more. Why did they ruin a perfectly good moment by trying to have sex with her? Was that all they wanted from her? If they were bad guys that were lying to her, wouldn't they have...raped her? Seras could only think about how fast the demon moved away when he saw how uncomfortable she was. He had stopped unbuttoning her clothes immediately and asked her if she was alright. Would a bad guy do that? Was that just another trick to make him look good? Could this get any more confusing?!

The second she had yelled at them, the males didn't argue or fight back. They didn't say that she was a tease, like so many guys have said to her before in the past. They looked hurt by her words, like what she said had truly bothered them; as if...her opinion of them truly mattered. Would bad guys care what she thought of them? And even with all she said, they...seemed to be understanding. The demon had apologized for making her uncomfortable and they both left without another word. Had Seras been mistaken? Were they not...bad? Were they telling her the truth and did they, in some way, care about her? She supposed...she could understand...why the demon had tried removing her clothes. Things had got pretty heated between them awfully fast. The kiss had riled all three of them, making them act like intoxicated fools. She had practically been drunk off of their tastes, scents, and kisses. Had it been the same for them? Had she intoxicated them? The demon and vampire seemed to be pretty old. They were so far from being virgins and must be used to getting their way when seducing a woman. Had it just been natural instinct for them to try and get her out of her clothes so...they could have sex with her? Was it a subconscious thing?

Seras sighed once more. She was unsure. She never had a boyfriend or a lover. She never had long, passionate make out sessions or even rubbed up against someone in the heat of the moment. She had no idea what was considered normal when it came to sexual intimacy. But...she supposed she could give Alucard and the demon the benefit of the doubt that they're used to doing this stuff, unlike her. They're used to doing things at a certain rhythm and...perhaps they misread her signals. And it's not like they knew she was a virgin since she didn't tell them earlier. Maybe they believed she was as randy as they were and thought to take it to the next level? The more Seras thought about it, the more her thoughts and feelings became jumbled. What was right and what was wrong anymore? If these guys were good, it would still technically be wrong for her to...date them. They were considered enemies. If the Reaper Society found out she was hooking up with a demon and a vampire, then she was screwed. She was too scared to think of what the consequences would be. But if Alucard and the demon were bad guys...Well, she was still so screwed! She had such a deep need inside of her to see both of them again. And she knew for a fact that if those two ever showed their faces to her again, she would become a puddle of goo and fall for them. Seras groaned loudly before she fisted her hair.

"What is wrong with you?!" She shouted. "Get ahold of yourself!" She then buried her face in her hands. Why was she now starting to fall for "bad boys"? Why couldn't she do this during her rebellious phase as a teenager?! Why now?! Tired of overthinking all of this, Seras fell onto her back to stare up at the night sky. What was she going to do? God help her.
