Good Evening,
I released chapter twenty last night (Friday, June 4). So if you haven't read it yet, obviously, read that before this chapter.
This is the final chapter. I told you it would be short and simple. This fic was requested by lobalunallena.
Thank you guys for reading this. I hope you enjoy the final chapter.
I will be taking a month off to write as many chapters as I can for "Little Mistake". I'll return July 5.

Chapter Twenty-one
Eleven Years Later
Elena was bored out of her mind as she lounged on her sofa watching television. Nothing was on. She was just flicking mindlessly through the channels, waiting for something that would appeal to her. Mark was currently at a rugby practice or meet up, something of the sorts. Truthfully, she hadn't really been paying attention when he told her. All she knew was that he would be home later, meaning that she'll be bored for another few hours. The brunette played with her long hair. She twirled the strands around her finger before sighing and threw down the remote onto the couch beside her. Lazily, she propped her legs up and rested her head on the armrest while she watched some home remodel TV show. She normally hated these types of shows. The people always seemed so fake and their reactions were always over the top. But there was nothing else on; so she settled for that. Who knows, maybe she'll get some form of entertainment out of it. Maybe laugh at how fake the people were or how the host designs the house.
Elena was, thankfully, interrupted from her boredom when there was a knock on her door. Far too eagerly, the girl bolted right out of her seat and sprinted across her living room. She couldn't thank god enough for this brief moment of relief to her endless boredom. She didn't even care if it would be a telemarketer or some other annoying human. Please, just anything to distract her! Elena pulled open her door with a wide smile and was about to greet the person, but was stopped immediately. The smile fell from her face and her eyes widened when she found Seras standing right outside her door. The small blonde didn't look like she changed that much since the last time she saw her, which was roughly ten years ago. She, Alucard, and Sebastian had decided to do some traveling. It had saddened Elena, though she was happy for her friend.
She knew perfectly well that a vampire couldn't age, and yet, Seras somehow looked a little more mature. What was it? Her clothes were definitely a tad bit different. She was wearing a more fashionable outfit, a horizontal black and white striped blouse with a long-open black cardigan, tight black jeans, and cute short, black high heels boots. Elena also noticed that Seras' hair was a bit spiker and she was wearing a tad bit of makeup. Looking closer, she noticed she was wearing mascara. Now either Seras had naturally matured mentally over the years or Sebastian had been giving her way too many beauty tips. Of course that demon would spoil his mate with fashionable clothes, shoes, and makeup. He probably stole those items from her too from time to time. Elena thought to herself.
"Seras!" The brunette exclaimed before she attacked the poor girl with an unbelievably tight hug. Seras squeaked when she suddenly found herself being embraced by what she thought could have been by a damn bear. Elena's arms were wrapped so tightly around her that she actually felt like she may pop.
"Careful! Careful!" The small blonde shouted through laughs. Elena surrendered and instead settled on interlacing her fingers with Seras'.
"I can't believe you're back!" She said while hot tears stung her eyes. "When did you get back?!"
"This morning," Seras answered with a shrug. Elena could also see tears welling in her best friend's eyes. "I would have come sooner, but I was helping Alucard and Sebastian unpack." The girl then snickered with a light blush on her cheeks. "There's still a lot of unpacking that needs to be done, but they insisted that I come to see you." The small blonde then threw herself at the tall girl. She wrapped her arms around her neck tightly and buried her face in her shoulder. "I couldn't say no! I've missed you and it's been too damn long!" She sobbed softly. Elena didn't hesitate wrapping her arms around the small blonde.
"I know!" The brunette agreed as she tried hard to fight back the tears. "Too long! Please, please tell me you're not planning to travel anytime soon!"
"No," Seras answered with a shake of her head. "We're done for now. Well…I was, anyway. I kind of forced them to come back." Elena couldn't contain a laugh.
"Force them?" She snickered. "Honey, those two would follow you anywhere. You didn't force them to do anything."
"I could tell that they wanted to keep traveling, but…" The little vampire trailed off.
"But?" Elena questioned when her friend didn't continue. Slowly, Seras pulled herself from the brunette's arms. Her solemn red eyes were glued to the floor while she sniffed.
"Well…that's something I have to tell you." The small blonde whispered before she used the back of her hand to wipe away her tears. Elena's browed furrowed together as she gave her friend a peculiar look.
"It's not something about Alucard and Sebastian, is it?" She asked sounding and looking suspicious.
"No," Seras answered with a wave of her hand. "I mean…nothing bad…particularly, but…it does involve them." The small blonde then tilted back her head to give her friend a warm smile. "It's just…an interesting topic that I need to share with someone."
"Ooooh," Elena drawled before she gripped Seras by her wrist and pulled her inside. "I love some gossip! It's just like old times!" She closed the front door and quickly led the small blonde over to the couch. Enthusiastically, the brunette pounced onto that couch and curled her legs up under her. Seras, on the other hand, was so calm as she hesitantly took a seat. She didn't look as excited as Elena, but she did keep a small smile on her face. "Tell me! What is going on?!" The brunette asked excitedly. "What did Alucard and Sebastian do?! Whatever it is that you want to talk about, is that the reason why you moved back to London?!" Seras lightly nodded her head.
"Yeah," The small blonde answered softly. Elena saw it clearly when a depressed look seeped into her friend's eyes. Slowly, that smile slipped from the brunette's face.
"What's wrong?" She asked. "You said that the news wasn't particularly bad. But…it's not good either? What happened, Seras?" The little vampire sighed through her nose before turning on her cushion to fully face Elena.
"I'm pregnant," Seras finally told her. There was instant silence. Once more, Elena's eyes widened in her head and her mouth fell open in complete shock. She was only capable of sitting there and gaping at her friend. A blush appeared on the small blonde's cheeks and she nervously looked down at her lap. "I'm still…a little confused about how it happened." The little vampire proceeded. "I did as you said; I suggested the whole condom thing to Alucard and Sebastian to use while I'm in heat. We have been very careful! Every time I'm in heat we use condoms. But…I'm pregnant." Seras sighed again before full on frowning and shaking her head. "I guess faulty condom? I don't know." She clicked her tongue. "Condoms work only ninety-something percent of the time or something stupid like that." Elena's brows furrowed together in confusion.
"You're…not happy about it?" The brunette asked in a whisper. Seras' head snapped to the side to stare at her wide eyed. They just stared at each other for a moment or two while the small blonde just looked purely shocked that she asked such question.
"I'm thrilled." The little vampire corrected her. "I'm…so happy!" And yet, she didn't show it and Elena saw that clearly. Seras just shook her head and looked back at her lap. "It may have been an accident, but I'm…excited and…I can't wait to be a mum."
"But?" Her friend questioned, still looking so very confused.
"But…I don't know if Alucard and Sebastian will be." Seras whispered.
"They don't know?!" Elena asked and she drew her head back in bewilderment. The corner of the small blonde's lips curled to form a smirk and she snickered under her breath.
"No, I haven't had the guts yet to tell them." She answered softly.
"How long have you known for?" The brunette proceeded to ask her questions.
"Um…" Seras drawled as she took a second to think about it. She blew hair out of her eyes before glancing back at her friend. "I think about two or three weeks now, but I think I've been pregnant for roughly a month since it's been a while since I was last in heat."
"Are you ever planning to tell them, Seras?" Elena couldn't help but laugh.
"I don't think so." The small blonde joked through giggles.
"I don't get it." The brunette snickered. "Why are you so afraid to tell them?" The smile fell from the little vampire's face once more.
"I just…don't think that they'll be thrilled." She murmured with a frown. "You remember a couple years back when I had that pregnancy scare?" Elena nodded her head in acknowledgement. "They were terrified of becoming fathers."
"Terrified, eh?" The brunette laughed. "I guess you found their weakness." She joked, but Seras ignored her.
"They told me that they…would give me anything I ever want, even if it was a child. But…what they're saying doesn't mean that they would be willing or ready to be fathers. They're just trying to please me. I want to have kids with them but only if they want to have kids." The small blonde explained, earning another nod from her friend.
"That's why you need to talk to them, Seras." Elena told her carefully.
"And what if they don't want to have kids, Elena? What if they're not ready to be fathers?" Seras asked, looking so very panicked as she looked back at her dear friend. "I can't have an abortion! But…I can't force them to become fathers! The only option would be is to leave them and to raise the kid by myself!"
"No, you wouldn't be alone." The brunette promised with a warm smile. "You can always depend on me to be there for you, Seras. And I can finally be the cool aunt I've always wanted to be." She laughed. "But you need to tell them. Talk to them, Seras. I think their answer will surprise you."
"Maybe," Seras whispered before she forced a smile onto her face. "I'll talk to them later about it. Right now, I just want to hang out with my best friend. What's been going on with you? How's Mark?"
"Well, I'm not pregnant." Elena joked while giving a proud looking smirk.
"Congrats!" The small blonde giggled.
"Thank you, but Mark and I are planning to adopt." The brunette responded.
"Wait…" Seras paused and the smile fell from her face as she looked at her friend in bewilderment. "What?"
"A puppy," Elena chuckled. "There's no way in hell I'm having a kid."
"Yeah, that makes a lot of sense now. You hate kids." The small blonde laughed. The brunette clicked her tongue while playfully rolling her eyes.
"I don't hate them!" She exclaimed. "I'm just…the cool aunt type, not a mum."
"Excuse me? You don't hate them?" Seras repeated. "If I recall, you made that kid on the playground cry hard."
"That was one time!" Elena responded. "And he was asking for it!"
"He was seven!" The small blonde reminded her through giggles. "And he was trying to play with you! But you went full demon on his little ass and scared him half to death."
"I taught him a valuable lesson." The brunette announced proudly.
"Not to cheat in a snowball fight?" Seras snickered with a raised brow. "You were just being a sore loser!"
"Whatever." Elena replied before she childishly stuck out her tongue.
Alucard and Sebastian worked silently and diligently while Seras was away meeting up with an old friend. Normally, the demon could have unpacked everything in the matter of minutes and probably had the entire manor furnished. But he had no desire to rush through things today. He'd rather take his time and plan accordingly of where everything will go. At first, the elder vampire hadn't helped at all. He had been lounging in the dining room with his feet up on the table when the demon found him. And, after a lecture, he managed to get the damn vampire off of his ass and help. Alucard unpacked boxes while Sebastian put things away. They were currently working in the kitchen when their mate came in three hours later after talking to her friend. She looked far more refreshed and happy than she did earlier. Talking to Elena must have done her some good.
"Hey," Seras greeted them softly as she strolled into the kitchen.
"You're back." Sebastian stated with a tender smirk.
"Yeah, it was really good to see Elena." She responded. She wandered over to a box on a table. Balancing on her tip toes, she began to remove the items from the box and place them on the counter. "The place looks great." The small blonde added with a smile. "It's starting to look like home."
"It needs a few touches, but it is coming along nicely." The demon purred as he looked around them to take it all in. He then went back to work, placing plates into cupboards. "I'm glad you got to see Elena, I know how much you've missed her."
"Is she the reason why you wanted to come back to London so badly, Seras?" Alucard questioned, wiping the smile right off of his mate's face. "We don't mind being back here, but Michaelis and I are confused."
"It was out of the blue, Seras." Sebastian agreed.
"You had your heart set on going back to France. You had been talking about it nonstop for weeks. And then suddenly, when we finally make plans to go, you changed your mind and wanted to come back home. Why?" The elder vampire asked. He had stopped unboxing items and was now looking at his bride. Her back was to him. She silently worked, taking one thing at a time out of a box. He noticed that she was working on autopilot; too deep in her thoughts to be aware of what she was doing. Concerned, the elder vampire glanced at the demon, but even Sebastian looked utterly confused about her behavior.
"Did we do something?" The demon asked her softly. "Did you change your mind about Paris because of us?"
"It wasn't because of you guys." Seras assured them in a whisper.
"Then what was the reason?" Alucard pushed a little further. The small blonde finally stopped unpacking. She stood at that counter for a long moment to gather her thoughts. After a long several seconds, their mate turned to face them. She was pale in the face and looked kind of sick to her stomach. However, there was a look of determination in her wavering red eyes. Taking a deep needed breath, Seras spoke.
"We've been mated for a little over a decade now." The little vampire spoke, looking incredibly nervous. "Things…seem to be going pretty well. We're happy and our love has never been stronger, right?" The demon nodded his head in confirmation, but he was only giving her a look of confusion.
"Right," Sebastian answered. "Seras, what is this about? Why are you so nervous?" Her face only paled further though and she began to cower.
"How…do you guys…feel about fatherhood?" She asked them hesitantly. Surprised by the random question, Alucard and Sebastian's eyes widened.
"Fatherhood?" The demon repeated.
"That's what you've been so scared to talk to us about?" Alucard snickered.
"Seras, we told you. If you want kids we'll…" Sebastian had started, but she cut him off.
"I know, Sebastian." Seras sighed. "But what about you guys? Do you guys even want kids?" Her eyes then flickered to stare at the floor and she frowned. "Back then…neither of you seemed too thrilled about it." This earned her a chuckle from both men.
"That's because we had just mated with you. We weren't ready to share you with a child." The demon laughed lightly. "We wanted you all to ourselves for a little while longer. Besides, you were human at the time when we had that little pregnancy scare. We feared that the pregnancy might kill you. So why we weren't particularly thrilled at the time is validated." Feeling a little more at ease, Seras looked back up at them with a small smile.
"So…how do you guys feel about kids now?" She asked them softly.
"Having a child sounds lovely," The demon purred with a look of warmth in his eyes while he stared at his smiling mate.
"I wouldn't mind having a little monster running around." Alucard chuckled. His red eyes glistened with lust and Seras knew right then and there, in the kitchen, that he was ready to make a baby with her. The elder vampire released a low growl as he stalked across the kitchen towards his mate. "If you wished to be with child, then you should have just told us. We would have been happy to oblige." He then chuckled deeply to himself as he reached out a hand to play with locks of her hair. "I think that's an appropriate way to spend our first night in a new home; trying for a baby. We can try over and over again; as many times as we need."
"You horn dog." Seras snickered under her breath.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Alucard. Seras needs to be in heat in order to get pregnant. She recently had a cycle. We have to wait a full year until she has another." Sebastian reminded him with a deep sigh. He came up to stand beside the No Life King.
"I still believe it's an appropriate way to spend our time. Break in the new house a little." The elder vampire purred, causing his mate to blush.
"Actually," Seras whispered while she smiled bashfully up at her mates. "I'm…already…pregnant." Almost immediately, she got the reactions she had expected from them. The smirks fell from their faces and their eyes widened as they stared down at her, looking purely disbelieved.
"What?" Sebastian questioned her. The small blonde nervously rubbed the back of her head.
"I'm pregnant." She repeated with a small, shy laugh. "For about a month now." The males continued to just stand there and stare down at her. They were unable to wrap their heads around what she was telling them.
"A month?" Alucard repeated as if he didn't understand what that meant.
"Yes," Seras answered with a nod. "I've been pregnant for a month." Simultaneously, Alucard and Sebastian's eyes drifted down to look at her stomach. She didn't look pregnant, but…she was saying that she was.
"How…do you know?" The demon asked.
"I took a test about two weeks ago. It came back positive." The little vampire responded.
"Two weeks." Sebastian whispered. Hesitantly, he reached down to place a hand on her stomach. Almost immediately he could sense the small life inside of her. It amazed and bewildered him to feel such a thing inside of his mate. But he found that he was ecstatic. She was carrying their child. Warmth glistened in his eyes and he gave a small smile for the creature that was growing inside of her. And then it clicked what she said and his eyes flickered back to her face. "You've known for two weeks?"
"Why didn't you tell us?" Alucard asked in a whisper before he finally placed his hand on her stomach to feel the life within.
"I was scared," She spoke while she gingerly slipped her hand over their hands on her stomach. "I didn't know what you guys would think. But I don't want to think about that right now. I just…want to share this happy news with you both and enjoy it. Okay?" To soothe his mate, Alucard leaned down to press his lips to hers. She kissed him back, slowly and tenderly, showing her love for him.
"We're overjoyed." Sebastian told her in a whisper as he lowered onto his knees. He stared intently at where his hand was placed on her stomach. He focused only on the life inside. The elder vampire pulled out of the kiss with a snicker.
"I say we celebrate." Alucard purred with a lustful look in his eyes.
"And I say you're insatiable." Seras laughed before she leaned up on her tip toes to kiss him. "One of you got me pregnant and you're still not satisfied."
"No, and I suppose this also means we can stop using those damn condoms because they clearly don't work." The No Life King chuckled.
"They've worked fine for the last ten years. We just got unlucky this year." The small blonde responded with a shrug of her shoulders.
"Unlucky? This little accident?" Alucard questioned as he caressed over her stomach. "I don't consider that unlucky." Sebastian climbed back to his feet to smile warmly at his mate.
"This was a nice little surprise indeed." The demon purred. "It's far from being unlucky or unwanted."
"Are you both truly happy about this then?" Seras asked with a bright smile.
"Happy? We're thrilled, darling." Sebastian whispered before he leaned in to kiss her on the forehead lovingly. "We love you and our unborn child deeply. Never forget that."
