Both of her mates were in the nude and even though she has seen them naked so many times, she felt embarrassed staring directly at their cocks as they ran towards her. The girl blushed fiercely and looked away to give them some privacy, despite it being clear that they didn't give a damn about the state they were in. What in the hell was going on? She had only been gone for a few short minutes and suddenly they were both in a state of pure panic. Truthfully, Seras had never seen either of them so perturbed before. They looked so scared. For a second, they reminded her of children that got spooked and went searching for their mother.
"Why are you guys running around the manor naked?!" She asked them, but neither of them answered. Alucard and Sebastian didn't think twice about cupping their bride's swollen stomach in their big hands. There was a very brief moment of relief when they sensed that Chloe and Daniel were perfectly fine. The rhythm of the twins' hearts was even and the life felt strong. But that didn't keep the fathers from worrying. Maybe there was something there that they weren't sensing; something that was wrong with their children. Or what if the issue didn't lie with the babies, but with Seras? What if she was hurt in someway that they couldn't see?! After checking the twins, the demon immediately examined Seras. Sebastian grabbed her by the arms and start checking all areas of her body that he could see. The demon was quite literally praying to God, hoping that his bride had just nicked herself or something, anything that would explain why they smelled her blood! Just don't let it be the twins!
"Hey!" Seras cried out in shock. Her eyes flickered back to their pale faces to see a look of panic in their eyes. That's when she got the sense that something was seriously wrong. Her brows furrowed together as she studied those looks on their faces. Why were they so worried about her? Were they just being overprotective again? Were they worried because she had been cramping? Believing that they were just concerned over absolutely nothing, Seras became frustrated. "What the hell is going on?!" The small blonde asked as she fought the demon that kept grabbing and pulling on her. He had such a tight hold of her that she actually feared that he was going to break something. He didn't even seem to realize how hard he was grabbing as he still searched frantically for something. "Sebastian, what are you doing?! Have you both gone mad?!"
"Seras, stop!" The demon yelled at her without taking a second to meet her gaze. Her former master started grabbing at her as well then. They were hastily checking all over her body, looking for something and she didn't even know what.
"Stop!" Seras demanded as she again tried fighting them off. "You're hurting me!" Sebastian's grip on her arms was tightening the more he looked and wasn't able to find a god damn thing. Alucard was roughly grabbing at her hips and legs and lifting her shirt as he searched her entire backside and found nothing. "God, will you two at least explain yourselves?!" The little vampire bared her fangs in fury as she again tried pushing them off of her. Infuriated by her working against them, the demon turned his head to shoot her a cold, dark look.
"We smell blood, Seras!" Sebastian snarled at her. "The scent is coming off of you! Just stay still and let us check you!" Once hearing those words, all that anger and all that life just drained from Seras' face.
"Wh-what?" She whispered in disbelief. Besides the cramping, she felt fine. But…if they were smelling her blood…could that mean that…there was something wrong with…Cautiously, the Draculina reached down to touch her stomach. The twins had stopped kicking a little while ago, but she hadn't thought much about it; other than being grateful that they had stopped. Seras suddenly felt so very sick to her stomach. She could sense the twins inside of her, sense the small lives, but…they were both so still. Was there something wrong with her babies? "Do you think there's something wrong with our twins?" Alucard and Sebastian stopped their search to look at their bride. They could see the horror clear as day in her eyes. She was practically on the verge of tears. Neither of them had an answer for her. They didn't know what was wrong and it was only becoming more worrisome not finding where the blood was coming from.
There was only one place they haven't searched yet, but admittedly, both men were terrified of looking. What will they do if they lost the twins? Seras will most definitely break down and blame herself, even though it wasn't her fault. And them? What Alucard and Sebastian will do would be so much worse. They would go on a rampage for sure. And the first person they would kill, the only person they could truly blame, would be the doctor for not taking proper care of their mate and children. It didn't matter if the doctor was improperly informed of what Seras has been going through. The monsters would blame him because they could never blame their mate. She would be in enough pain as it is anyway. The demon's eyes trailed down his bride's body to look at her pants. There was such a defeated look on his face as he hesitated telling her what they needed to do next.
"Seras," Sebastian whispered. The girl shifted her head to look up at him, but he refused to look at her because he knew she was crying. He wouldn't be able to keep a sound mind if he saw his mate's tears. He would immediately go to that doctor to kill him...or maybe slaughter anything he held dear. Perhaps he'll let the doctor watch his wife suffer and bawl as the demon murdered their children. Then they would experience the pain they were currently feeling. Seeing their bride cry and can do absolutely nothing about it was destroying Alucard and Sebastian. "We need to check your underwear for blood." Hearing those words broke their mate a little bit more. She dropped her head into her hand as she started to cry uncontrollably.
"God," Seras sobbed.
"We don't know anything yet, Seras." Alucard attempted to calm her. "Please, don't cry." He could feel his heart crumbling in his chest when hearing his bride sob. He didn't know what to do, how to comfort her or what to say. Sebastian cupped her elbow to try and lead her.
"Sit down here." The demon whispered and helped lower her to sit on the bottom step of the stairs. He then reached in to start unfastening her pants, but his bride's crying was heart wrenching and distracted him. "Seras darling, I know how upset you are, but please, focus for a moment. Help me get your pants off." The little vampire lifted her hips off the step and together they slid down her pants and panties around her thighs. Alucard and Sebastian paused in disbelief when seeing fresh blood drops in the line of her underwear. Instantly when seeing it, Seras broke down. One hand went to cover her face as the other shot down to hold her swollen stomach. Despite the life she could feel inside of her, this did not ease her at all. The demon's eyes flickered back to his mate's face. Both males acted on instinct and tried to console their mate. Alucard dropped onto his knees in front of their mate and they both embraced her. The elder monsters felt such anger inside of them, such pain. But they buried that for Seras' sake and did all that they could physically to calm her down.
"What if the twins aren't okay? What if they're dying?" Their bride sobbed as her hand dropped from her face so she could wrap both of her arms around her mates' necks. Unbeknownst to her, this only fueled the monsters' rage. Their twins may be dying and their mate was falling apart in their arms. Someone needed to pay and all they could think about was getting their hands on that damn doctor. They needed to tear into someone and kill them slowly. Alucard and Sebastian were starting to lose control of themselves. Their red eyes glowed sinisterly as they tried maintaining their self-control. Not wanting to accidentally hurt her, the dangerous males pulled away and stared down at their darling mate. "They were kicking so hard earlier. What if they were trying to tell me that something was wrong? I just ignored it. I thought they were just being their energetic selves. I didn't know something was wrong. I didn't know, I swear." Her whole face was red and messy from crying so hard. Such guilt swelled in her eyes. Sebastian stroked over her hair to help soothe her, though that did absolutely nothing to calm her.
"Seras, please." The demon begged her softly. He looked so wounded, but in the depths of those unholy eyes, Seras could see the rage. Were her mates angry with her? Did they hate for letting this happen? A part of her hoped that they did. She hoped that they hated her with every fiber of their being and will never forgive her. She didn't deserve forgiveness for letting their children die. But the other part of her was begging for their forgiveness. She loved Alucard and Sebastian with all of her heart. What would she do if they decide to hate her for what happened? How would she be able to live if her children die and her mates blamed her? "We don't know if anything is wrong. And even if there is, it's not your fault. You are taking great care of the twins and yourself. Whatever is happening is completely out of your control and not your fault." But Seras only shook her head at him.
"I've been having pains for so long. I thought they were normal, but what if they're not. What if there was something we could have done to help the twins if I had just said something to you and Alucard?" She questioned through sobs. "I'm sorry." Seras whispered then. "I'm so sorry this has happened." Instantly, Sebastian wrapped his arms around his bride and crushed her to his body. She buried her face in his chest and cried freely as he stroked her hair.
"Stop apologizing right now, Seras. It's not your fault." He told her for the final time. "Now, let's collect ourselves quickly and find out what's wrong before it gets any worse." The demon glanced up at the elder vampire then. "Alucard, get some clothes on. We need to get the doctor here immediately."
