Good Evening,

I'm sorry if people were expecting conflict or more of a storyline in this fic. I wanted this to be more of a chill kind of fic, like sit back and relax and don't worry about any angst. I just wanted it to be more about romance and family than the constant angst I normally put Seras through. I'm saying this because this story doesn't have too much longer until the end. If I were to guess, I would say that it only had roughly four or five chapters left. But, I've been wrong in the past when it comes to guessing about how long a story has; so it could have longer.

While this chapter and the next is kind of a 'break' from the main storyline, there is a small bit of angst.

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy.

Oxford Not Brogues

Chapter Thirteen

Seras gasped when she was suddenly pinned to the bed by her smirking mates. Each had a tight hold of one of her wrists as they hovered over her. A certain look glinted in their hellish eyes. It was completely malevolent and spine chilling. She had an inkling of what they were planning. For an entire month, Alucard and Sebastian both had been pestering her; begging her to tell them all the 'dirty' details of her jealous rage. The way they had begged had been more than amusing to Seras. Her Sire had even gotten down onto his knees at one point and pleaded her to tell him, while the demon had tried a different approach. Sebastian attempted to go alpha male on her and be intimidating, but Seras only found his performance not only be cute, but laughable. Honestly, did they truly think that she was afraid of them? And yet, this didn't discourage them from trying to get what they wanted. They came up with different ways, even tried bargaining her. Did hearing all about her jealous rage really get them off? It absolutely amazed her how horny the two were. Why was she even surprised? They were always horny.

"You just had to be difficult." Alucard purred tauntingly. The little vampire gave such a melodious laugh while giving him a playful, stern look.

"I wasn't being difficult." Seras tittered.

"Yes, you were, young lady." Sebastian breathed as he brushed his lips up and down her cheek. "You kept teasing us." If only they knew that Seras wasn't purposely teasing them. The reason why she hadn't told them anything about her jealous rage was because she was completely embarrassed by it. And she knew for a fact that they weren't going to be happy because of the result of her actions. It was just a time that she didn't want to think about; didn't want to relive. And she preferred not to remind them of that night.

"But we're done playing." The elder vampire added. "We want to see that beautiful jealousy bubbling in those dark red eyes of yours. We want to see how you acted on that jealousy. Tell us, what did you do, Seras Victoria?" The Draculina lifted her head up off the pillow to bring her face closer towards Alucard's.

"I'm. Not. Telling." She told them carefully, though that playful little smile never fell from her lips.

"Oh, you don't have to." Alucard chuckled while pulling off a wide, toothy grin. The smile slipped from his Draculina's lips as confusion settled in her gaze. "Your blood will tell us all." The girl's eyes widened and she opened her mouth to scream something. Before Seras could react, both her former mentors were taking action. The elder vampire buried his teeth deep into her neck as Sebastian's incisors latched onto her shoulder. Her blood showed them all those memories that they had been longing to see for the past month.

2029

Seras' smoldering red eyes held such fury as she stared intently at a small group of friends from across a nightclub. She sat alone at a booth, having been bothered several times by a human waiter who asked if she wanted anything to drink. Each time he was ignored. She was unable to pull her gaze away from one woman who laughed and seemingly was having a fantastic night out with her friends. That woman repulsed her. From where she sat, she could smell Alucard's scent all over her. That damn tart had her master all to herself last night and this morning. Of course, the human was unaware she had been fucked by a monster because her master had the common decency to pose as a human. He changed his attire and his eye color just for that little tramp, just so he could seduce her without her being scared and fleeing.

Seras dug her nails painfully into the palm of her hands. Her master had only just returned last night after thirty long years and he was already out plowing women. Why wasn't Seras good enough? Why didn't he want her? From that look in his eyes, she could have sworn that he was yearning for her, to feel her skin against his, and to finally kiss her. But instead he left her hanging with hope searing inside of her, only to go fuck this little human. The little vampire's eyes darkened with hatred and jealousy. She loved Alucard more than anything, but she could never tell him that. She could never beg him to share one night with him in his coffin like he did with other women of their kind. She couldn't ask for one night of pleasure. She was too scared revealing any of her feelings to him because she was afraid of how he would react. No, she'd much rather stay a fool in love and suffer than ever see her master laugh in her face from her stupidity. That would hurt too much.

After this morning, when seeing this woman so 'casually' leave one of the upstairs' bedrooms with Alucard, as if they hadn't been up to something, Seras couldn't help but follow her. She was just filled with such rage; she was completely blinded by it that she had thoughtlessly been stalking this woman all day long. The Draculina couldn't help it! Every fiber of her being loathed this woman; wanted her dead. Her instincts were screaming at her while her inner demon was whispering to her, but for the life of her, Seras couldn't figure out what they wanted from her. She still didn't understand what she was doing there. All she knew was that she couldn't leave. No, she had unfinished business with this woman. But what was the business? Did she want to confront this woman? Tell her to back off, that Alucard was hers? But that would be a lie. Alucard wasn't hers. He could sleep with anyone he so pleased.

What was Seras doing here? Why couldn't she let this woman out of her sight? Was she expecting Alucard to show up? Did her master have feelings for this woman? Or was she just a one nightstand? It didn't matter to Seras, though. It didn't matter if Alucard was in love with this woman or if she was just an easy fuck. The woman will pay for what she has done. What did her master even see in this woman? The human was tall and slender with decent sized breasts, about average. She had long, straight brown hair and dark brown eyes with a hint of green in them. Her face was slim with defined cheekbones and her skin was pasty looking. While many would probably see her as a very attractive woman, like her master, Seras was sickened by her. For the life of her, she couldn't find one decent thing to think of when looking at her. She just hated her existence entirely. Is this what her master was attracted to? Was this his type? Seras gritted her teeth and dug her nails so deep into her palms that blood started to leak between her fingers.

"I had the best night of my life with a guy last night." The woman squealed to her friends. Seras perked up when hearing this. Even over the music and chatter, it was quite easy for the Draculina to tune it all out and only focus on the human's conversation.

"You went out with someone? Like on a date?" One of the woman's friends asked with a giant smile.

"No, no, no." Alucard's trollop giggled. "We met in a bookstore and…I don't know. There was just something about him; mysterious and…really hot. I normally don't like it when guys hit on me, but…It was strange. The way he did it had more…elegance to it." Seras' cheeks burned as she glumly looked down at the table she was sitting at. God, she hated her. For so long she has wanted Alucard to flirt with her, but all he ever did was tease her. Was she not pretty or sexually attractive? Or was it because she was his fledgling that he won't touch her? Was it a pride thing? "And he's filthy rich."

"Score," Another of her friends laughed. Seras only threw the group of women a dark look. Of course, money is the only true thing that mattered to them. They didn't even know the real Alucard. They just saw him as a walking, talking bank.

"Seriously, he took me back to his manor." The slut stated. The little vampire snickered under her breath. It was Sir Integra's manor, and she doubted Alucard actually told this girl that it was his. "The best sex I ever had!" She exclaimed. "It was so damn amazing and perfect. He didn't get tired at all. I literally ended up passing out from pure exhaustion. The man is an animal in bed." The smile only widened on her face. "And in the morning, he was right back at it for two hours straight. It was definitely something I needed before work today. Honestly, I think I could get through most days of work if I had that in the morning. Screw coffee and Prozac." She laughed.

"Are you going to see him again?" One of her friends asked.

"It sounds like you should bag him now before another girl gets her claws into him." A second friend stated.

"I asked for his number, but he just brushed me off." The trollop grumbled, looking disappointed. For the first time in hours, a smile cracked Seras' face and she couldn't help but laugh. That was most definitely her master. Breaking beds and then breaking hearts. "I then asked if he wanted to go out tonight or any night, whenever he was free. He said that I was clingy and that he was done with me."

"How rude!" A friend of hers exclaimed. But this only brightened Seras' mood. She was grinning from ear to ear. Good! She was so glad to hear that her master wasn't going to see her again! It was just a one-time thing!

"Yeah, he sounds like a real prick." Another friend added.

"I know, but he was so hot!" The whore groaned in misery. "And he was a real gentleman too before he told me to hit the road." Seras could not contain her laughter. She leaned back in her chair and laughed loudly at the girl's misery. She was purely happy until she heard this. "Fortunately though, he changed his mind." The little vampire's laughter was cut short. She immediately looked back at the brunette. What did she mean that her master changed his mind?! Why would he change his mind?!

"What? Why?" One of her friends voiced Seras' question. Yes, why?! The Draculina screamed internally as she went back to glowering at the human.

"As he was escorting me out, a fellow approached us. I thought we were alone. I don't know who the gent was, maybe a friend. Probably a brother; they did look kind of similar." The slut went on telling her story. Seras' jaw dropped. That bitch better not be talking about who she thought she was talking about! She would gut her! "He completely ignored me and spoke to Vlad, the guy I was with, saying he was in some sort of trouble with someone. I'm guessing their mum because he kept saying how angry she was that he brought me to the manor."

"They live with their mum?" A friend snickered, causing all of her little friends to burst into laughter.

"Anyway, this guy, Sebastian, was extremely hot, even hotter than Vlad. I guess it was evident how attracted I was to him because Vlad went back to being sweet and flirting with me." Oh, God! Seras thought to herself as she dropped her head into her hands. Alucard and Sebastian had read the human's thoughts and knew that she would be interested in a threesome! God, please! Tell her that Sebastian wasn't tempted, like her master, to sleep with that damn human! Not Sebastian too! "Well, let's just say that I'm not getting a date, but I will be having fun time with both brothers tomorrow night." When hearing this, Seras slammed her fist down so hard on top of the table that the wood cracked and splintered. Thankfully, no humans heard it over the loud music.

"Both of them?" A friend questioned in disbelief.

"Seriously, you're going to see this guy again after the way he treated you? Girl, you're desperate." Another friend scoffed.

"You really don't understand how hot these two guys are. And another night of the best sex I've ever had? Trust me, his douchebag attitude is nothing compared to the sex." The trollop practically moaned. "And who knows, maybe his brother will be nicer. I can bag him." She added with a shrug. The brunette then sighed and glanced around her at the crowd of humans dancing and talking. "I'm going to go hit the restroom and then we can get out of here. This place is kind of boring."

"Let's go to the movies." One of her friends spoke up. Immediately, the small group of girls started chattering about what movie they wanted to see as the tramp got up from the table. Her friends barely acknowledged her as she left to head for the restroom. Seras didn't waste a second. Before she even realized it, she was already halfway across the nightclub following the brunette into the bathroom. The little vampire was very much confused and so blinded by her hatred that she wasn't thinking straight. She had no idea what she was doing; she was acting blindingly, as if she was being controlled by someone else completely. But she knew that she was in full control, she was just letting her jealousy get the better of her. Entering the restroom, Seras found one other human present as the brunette stepped into one of the four stalls. Thankfully, the human that was present was in the process of washing her hands, so she shouldn't be much longer. She was a tiny thing, a few inches shorter than Seras. She had long pretty red hair and a dark complexion. The Draculina was quiet as her eyes flickered between the human at the sink and the line of stalls. Seras backed herself into a corner, leaned against the wall, and played the waiting game. The young girl at the sink shook her hands to get rid of the excess water that dripped down her fingers. Not even bothering to fully dry her hands, she fixed her blouse, grabbed her purse, and started making her way out of the restroom. As she was passing Seras and reaching for the door handle, the Draculina spoke.

"Forget my face." The little vampire whispered. The redhead paused for a moment. Her face scrunched up to show her confusion and she turned her head to look at the mysterious blonde that was tucked away in a corner.

"What?" The human murmured. That's when she saw those haunting red eyes staring deep into her very soul. The little redhead straightened as she immediately fell mentally into Seras' grasp. She was unable to look away and was completely frozen to her spot.

"Forget my face." The Draculina repeated, showing a hint of fang. Per usual, the human's eyes reflected Seras' red hue as she unwillingly did as she was told. "Now leave." Without another word from the redhead, the human pulled open the door and, like a zombie, exited the restroom. As soon as Seras found herself alone with Alucard's little tramp, she pushed off the wall and locked the bathroom door. Good, now they won't be interrupted by any other annoying, little humans. With a dark look, the little vampire shifted her head to look back at the line of stalls; waiting impatiently for the human to emerge. On cue, there was a flush from one of the stalls. Seconds later, Alucard's lover exited as she adjusted her pants and blouse.

The clueless human headed right for the sinks, unaware of the presence of the monster that was lurking in the room. The tramp so casually checked her makeup, making sure her mascara was still looking decent. Seras silently stalked across the small room. Her anger simmering as her jealousy got the better of her. She was gritting her teeth so hard that they were crackling in her mouth, threatening to shatter on her at any moment. But she didn't care; she barely even noticed the pain she was inflicting on herself. All Seras could think about was making the woman before her suffer for taking Alucard and Sebastian away from her; for eating up all their attention and affection. Showing her fury, Seras' pace quickened. The brunette saw movement from the corner of her eye and turned, but she didn't get a good look. The human heard an animalistic snarl before she felt fingers digging into her windpipe. With ease, this person lifted her off of her feet. Since her eyes were closed, she could only imagine a very large man was currently choking the life of her, not realizing that it was actually a small, delicate blonde.

Seras bared her teeth while her eyes showed such rage. They swirled with madness and hatred as they gave off a hellish glow that would have made the human piss herself if she had been looking. Her grip on the human's throat tightened, daring to snap her neck. But she didn't want to give the girl the satisfaction of a quick death. No, Seras wanted her to be in agonizing pain for as long as possible. The brunette kicked her legs as she desperately grabbed at the vampire's hand, trying so hard to break free. Even when hearing her choke and gasp for air, even when her face started to turn a reddish purple, Seras wasn't satisfied or any calmer. She was only growing angrier by the second, especially with Alucard's scent wafting into her nose. It sickened her knowing that her master actually took pleasure in fucking this little worthless human. How did he find it pleasurable? What did he find so appealing about this woman? The woman was growing weaker the longer Seras strangled her. Not wanting to kill her by suffocation or by breaking her fragile neck, the Draculina loosened her grasp. The brunette sucked in the air profusely as she hyperventilated.

"Please," She coughed. Her fingers wrapped tighter around Seras' wrist. The slut cracked open her bloodshot eyes to finally look at her attacker. "Stop," She barely got out through her heavy breathing. Fresh tears ran down the brunette's face, but the little monster still didn't show any mercy. Seras lowered her until they were at eye level. She stared deeply into those watery eyes that begged her to let her go. What happened next was a complete and utter blur for Seras. One minute, she was standing there glaring at Alucard's little prostitute. And the next, she had shot her hand through the girl's stomach and out the back so she was fully impaled on her arm. Blood shot out of the brunette's mouth, splattering the Draculina's face. Seras' eyes widened and a very low, but audible gasp escaped her lips. She had followed this woman all day long, loathed her existence from the moment she saw her, and came here with the intentions to kill her. She acted on that anger and jealousy inside of her. She had thrown her beliefs out the window and acted like a savage, preying upon a poor innocent girl that didn't even know why she was being murdered.

The second she saw the life flicker in the woman's eyes, the second she saw that she was dying; all that anger and hatred vanished. Her demon, now satisfied that she got her 'revenge', was silent and no longer urged her on; leaving Seras to deal with this alone. For a brief moment, she felt remorse for the woman before her. She felt shameful and guilty for what she had done, ending this poor woman's life without any reason but jealousy. Seras was normally not a jealous person, but seeing this woman with a man who she loved and knowing that he had touched her, it pained the little vampire. Suddenly, that rage was starting to boil back up inside of her. All she could picture was this woman and Alucard together. All she could think about was the way her master looked at this woman, held her, fucked her, and maybe even kissed her. Biting her bottom lip, her eyes flared darkly to show her fury. The woman in her grasp was petrified due to shock. Blood was pouring out of the wound in her stomach while some of it stained her chin and clothes. She proceeded to stare openly at Seras, though it was evident that she wasn't aware of her surroundings anymore. The girl was as good as dead already.

The Draculina's eyes flickered down to where her hand was still imbedded deep in her stomach. She could feel the hot blood sticking to her skin. The woman's organs felt so warm nestled around her arm. In one swift motion, the little vampire pulled her arm free. A sharp cry of pain left the brunette's lips as more blood spilt from the wound. And yet, she was still alive. It amazed Seras how much humans could go through and still live. How was it that they were so fragile but still so tough? And they were too stubborn to die. The little monster leaned closer towards the woman. She kept her deadly eyes on the tramp's face, seeing the fear mix with the pain in those dark brown orbs. Seras wrapped her bloody arm around the woman's waist to pull her body flush up against her own. Their breasts were pressed together. The Draculina's flat stomach brushed over the gaping wound that once made up the woman's stomach. Removing her hand from the brunette's throat and tangling her fingers in her hair, Seras bared her teeth and moved in for the kill.

Smoothly, like running a knife through butter, the vampire's fangs slid into the woman's supple throat. She pierced an artery and got blood immediately. The hot liquid practically pumped into her mouth as Seras gingerly suckled to gather the blood as cleanly as possible. Even the blood was as foul as she was, but this didn't stop the Draculina from drinking it. She wanted to drain the woman dry; make sure that she was dead and would never come back to seduce Alucard and Sebastian. Seras wanted her out of their lives completely. She succeeded.

It was later that night when Seras found herself standing in the Hellsing's office feeling numb. All that anger and brief moment of guilt had slipped away, leaving her an empty shell. The little vampire stood in front of the paneled windows that overlooked the front grounds of the Organization. As of every day and night, men patrolled the yard with their assault rifles, waiting for any attacks or unexpected visitors. The white marble fountain spouted water, creating ripples in the small pool below. The crescent moon stood out over the leafless woods. She could tell how cold it was from the way the soldiers shivered. Her eyes missed nothing, and yet, she wasn't truly focused on any of those things. The thing she did notice the most though was the scribbling sound of Sir Integra's pen going across paper. It was only a matter of time before she got a report of a woman drained of her blood found dead in the bathroom of a nightclub. Seras' eyes flickered down to stare at her feet. She just might regret doing this, but she would regret it even more if she kept Sir Integra in the dark. Taking a deep breath, she decided to just get it done and over with.

"Integra," Seras spoke.

"Hmn?" The Hellsing hummed in response.

"I killed someone." The Draculina told her. The second those words left her lips the scribbling sound stopped. Seras opened her eyes to look back outside. "A human," She added so it was clear. Sir Integra turned in her swivel chair to give the girl a bizarre look with her one good eye.

"What are you talking about, Police Girl? Who did you kill? When?" The Hellsing asked. Seras folded her arms over her chest before she turned to look at the elder blonde.

"Earlier tonight," Seras answered with a shrug. "A woman," Sir Integra just stared at her in pure disbelief. She couldn't wrap her head around what she was being told. Seras, unlike her mentors, had always been very well behaved. She only ever killed humans she was assigned to kill, normally those who were conspiring with vampires or other supernatural beings. The only human she knew Seras had partaken from, besides herself, was Bernadotte. But the man had willingly sacrificed his blood to her. Was Police Girl honestly telling her that she had feasted from and killed a human? Under what cause? What was the reason for this behavior? She hoped to god this wasn't going to become a habit. She didn't need another Alucard running about doing as he or she pleased.

"I'm sorry to tell you that I don't regret killing the human." Seras admitted to her. This did not make Sir Integra feel any better. It was only making it more evident that the small blonde was being influenced by Alucard. A pit was actually growing in the Hellsing's stomach. Her heart felt like it had dropped straight into that pit. Sir Integra leaned back in her chair and combed her fingers through her hair. What in the hell was she going to do? What was going on with Seras? Was she rebelling? Why? "The only thing I'm sorry for is disappointing you. I am sorry that I betrayed your trust, Sir Integra. I know that doesn't make up for my actions, but I just want you to know that I'm still loyal to you and this Organization. I still have every desire to abolish the evil from this world with you. I understand that you will need to punish me, but I hope in time you can forgive me." The Hellsing was silent. Her one good eye was trained on the floor as she thought carefully about what she was being told. Seras stood there silently and stared at her as she waited anxiously for a response. After a moment, Sir Integra glanced up and asked one simple question.

"Why?" The Hellsing asked in a calm tone. It actually spooked Seras how calm she sounded and looked. Just what was going through the Hellsing's mind? The little vampire once more took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

"Do you remember that woman from earlier; the one that you got mad at Alucard for?" Seras asked. The Hellsing nodded her head before resting her chin in her open hand.

"Yes," She answered and crossed her legs as she prepared to hear what she was about to be told.

"It was her. She was the one I killed." Seras replied. She cracked open her eyes to look back at the Hellsing.

"Did your master tell you to kill her?" Sir Integra questioned as she furrowed her brows in confusion.

"No," The small blonde shook her head. "Master had nothing to do with this. He doesn't even know that I did it." Finally, Seras got the reaction she had been expecting. Anger flared in the Hellsing's eye and she frowned in disappointment.

"I'll ask once more, Police Girl. Why?" Sir Integra asked in a powerful tone.

"Because I was jealous." Seras answered in a whisper. Shameful for her behavior, the Draculina lowered her gaze. Bewilderment shot across the Hellsing's face before she went deadpan again. The only reasonable explanation Sir Integra could think of is that the fledgling was jealous that her master was giving his attention to another. It was common among fledglings to feel ignored or angry when their master's attention was not on them. Alucard was gone for thirty long years and the night he finally returned he spent it satisfying his sexual needs. It was understandable why Seras became enraged because of this woman, though her behavior was still unacceptable.

"Seras," Sir Integra sighed, her voice depicting her disappointment.

"Sir Integra," Seras interrupted. There was a clear look of pain in the Draculina's eyes, looking like she was on the verge of tears. "I'm in love with Alucard and Sebastian." The Hellsing scoffed and buried her face in her hand.

"Seras," The elder blonde started back up. "I think you only think you're in love with them. Alucard is your master. It's natural for fledglings..." Again, she was interrupted.

"Don't do that to me, Integra." Seras responded while shaking her head. "I'm not a fledgling anymore, and I think I understand my feelings better than anyone. Yes, as a fledgling, I admire my master greatly, but that has changed. I don't just admire him, I love him. And even if it was because of fledgling instincts, that wouldn't explain why I'm in love with Sebastian. He's not my master." She explained. Slowly, she saw it as the realization sunk in and she knew Sir Integra believed her. "I love them." Seras repeated once more before gesturing a hand at the door. "And seeing my master with that woman, knowing that he was fooling around with her, it...broke my heart. I acted on my pain and jealousy and killed that human." Silence. Nothing but silence after she had spilt her guts to the Hellsing. Sir Integra just sat there and stared at her, looking purely stunned. Her eye flickered up and down the Draculina's body, as if she was seeing Seras for the very first time and couldn't determine what she was. And then finally there was a response.

"This doesn't excuse your behavior, Police Girl." Sir Integra whispered. There was a spark of relief in Seras when she heard that familiar nickname. She knew that the consequences would be severe, but it was nice to know that the Hellsing still valued her in some way. It was a silent understanding that Seras wasn't an enemy to the Hellsing Organization and she was still allowed to be an agent. The only issue left standing is what was to be done with her; what would her punishment be? "Where was this? I'll have a cleanup crew go out to take care of it. I just hope we're not too late and nobody has stumbled upon the body. The last thing I need is a ruckus and the press all over this case." With that said, the Hellsing swiveled in her chair to face her desk. She instantly reached for her cigar with one hand and with the other she picked up the phone.

"The Zone; it's on Piccadilly." Seras answered as she rubbed her hands over her arms, trying to comfort herself. "I'm sorry for the mess I made." The Draculina knew that someone had to have stumbled upon the body already. The brunette had a group of friends waiting for her, all of which probably went to check on her when she didn't return from the restroom. With the restroom being locked from the inside, they would have notified an employee. For certain, there was currently a panic at the nightclub.

"You are dismissed, Police Girl. I have no desire to see you. Your punishment will be decided later after I get this mess under control."

"Yes, Sir." Seras whispered.

All that night and rest of the next day, Sir Integra hadn't asked for nor spoken to Seras. The little vampire kept to herself, knowing full well that the Hellsing was far too angry to even look at her. She was positive that if she even showed up in the Hellsing's office, her boss would empty an entire clip of silver bullets straight into her head. No, it was best to stay away and let her cool down. Seras sat up on the roof of the Organization, mindlessly stargazing as guilt gnawed at her. She still had no idea what her punishment would be, but she wasn't entirely worried about it. Whatever it was, she fully deserved it. She absolutely hated that she had went behind Sir Integra's back and betrayed her trust by killing a human, the one species she swore to protect no matter what.

The little vampire wrapped her arms around her legs and rested her chin on top of her knees. She stared pathetically up at the moon as she went over everything that happened. It was like a movie was on repeat. It just kept playing over and over again. She still didn't feel guilty for killing the human, but that only made her feel guilty for not showing remorse or sympathy. Was she becoming less human? When did it start becoming easy for her to murder? When did she stop sympathizing?

"Police Girl," Came a chilling voice that sent shivers down the girl's spine. Their presence became known to her then as the elder creatures of the Hellsing Organization approached her from behind. "We heard about your tantrum." Seras frowned before she tilted her head back to look up at her master. He towered over her, looking disappointed but also concerned and confused.

"Sir Integra told you?" The Draculina asked in mortification. For some unknown reason, she thought her boss would keep it a secret between them. She didn't think she would blab it to her mentors. That was so embarrassing.

"I believe she knows more than she's letting on. She only told us that you went through a blood rage and killed a human." Alucard responded. Seras audibly sighed when realizing that the Hellsing didn't tell the true reason for her outburst. Feeling a little more at ease, she faced forward to look back at the lonesome moon. "But that's obviously a lie." He added.

"Why do you say that?" The little vampire asked without looking back at him. She was too afraid her eyes would give it away.

"You're too old to be going on blood rages." Her master reminded her.

"Not to mention, if it had been a blood rage, you would have killed more than one person." Sebastian added with a snicker. It was more than clear that he found the situation amusing.

"You and I both know that you didn't go on a blood rage, Draculina. So tell us, what really happened?" Alucard asked. He stared at her, waiting for an answer, but never received one. His Childe proceeded to stare off into the distance, purposely ignoring him and the question he asked. "Did the human provoke you in some way?"

"I guess you could say that." Seras murmured. The elder vampire's brows furrowed together. Neither her nor his master seemed to want to give the details or the reason behind Seras' actions. What were they hiding? Gingerly, Alucard attempted to skim his Childe's mind, but she instantly reacted. The small blonde jerked and shook her head before glancing up at him to give him a disapproving look. "Don't pry, Master." Seras grumbled and then Alucard was pushed out.

"We're only trying to figure out what went on." Sebastian spoke in a stern tone, reminding Seras of an overbearing mother. "Why are you being so stubborn? You could act like an adult, Miss. Victoria; after all, you are technically forty-nine years old. Just because your body can't mature doesn't mean that your mentality cannot." But all they got was silence as the girl proceeded to sit there, sulk, and ignore their existence.

"I don't think you understand the severity of your actions and what could have happened to you, Draculina." Alucard raised his voice. His gaze hardened and he was unknowingly clenching his fists. "You have truly disappointed me tonight, Police Girl. I was eager to see how much you have grown as a vampire; how much I have missed when being away. So you can't imagine the disappointment I'm feeling when hearing about your little tantrum. You acted like a reckless newborn." Seras shifted her head away from Alucard to hide her tears. Her bottom lip trembled as she fought not to cry in front of them. Her hot tears burned her eyes and blinded her though, making it harder not to cry. "The Hellsing could have bound you. Do you have any idea what that's like? The ritual is truly torture. I barely even survived it." He continued to lecture her. "Or something worse could have happened. She could have ordered an execution. Do you think Michaelis or I have any desire to slaughter you?" He wasn't sure if he was getting through to her. But he knew he was when he suddenly smelled her tears. "You need to have better control of yourself, Seras." He spoke in a softer tone.

"I'm sorry, Master." Seras whispered. Her voice betrayed her. It cracked a little as she tried to keep from crying.

"This is not how I wanted to spend my first week back. I was hoping to share a glass of blood with you or go on a walk and reminisce with you; anything, even a friendly battle between us. I didn't think I would spend it punishing you." The little vampire's head perked up and she glanced up at her master. Such a bewildered look was on her face.

"Punish me?" She repeated in disbelief. The elder vampire frowned before responding.

"Sir Integra ordered Michaelis and me to find a suitable punishment for you." Alucard answered. His Draculina's gaze lowered.

"I have no idea why she requested I punish you. I'm not even your master." Sebastian added, but wasn't paid any attention to.

"That's the punishment." Seras whispered to herself. Sir Integra was punishing her by making the people Seras loved punish her.

"What are you talking about, Police Girl?" Her master questioned her comment.

"How is that in itself a punishment?" The demon also questioned with furrowed brows.

"Never mind," The Draculina brushed them off. It was only aggravating them more that she was still hiding things from them. Why was them punishing her a punishment? Both men wanted to invade her thoughts and get the answers they've been looking for, but they couldn't do that to Seras. They could only hope that she would eventually reveal to them what happened last night and why she killed a human. It was just so unlike her. Did they need to start worrying about her? Was she changing? "What is my punishment then?"

"Understand this, Seras, I must set a severe punishment otherwise I don't think Sir Integra will be pleased. I don't want her going after you. I'll understand if you never forgive me after what I'm about to do." Alucard spoke softly. Worriedly, his Draculina looked back up at him.

"Master?" She whispered. She could see the guilt glimmering in his eyes. He looked so bothered; she had never seen her Sire in this state before. What was he going to do to her?

"You'll receive ten lashings." Her master announced.

"This is you joking, right? This is just your dark sense of humor?" Seras asked while her eyes flickered about his face. "You wouldn't actually whip me, would you?" When her master didn't respond, she quickly glanced up at Sebastian. "Is he joking?" The demon looked just as deadly serious as her master.

"I'm afraid not, Miss. Victoria." Sebastian answered softly with a frown. Hesitantly, the small blonde shifted her head to look back at her master. Her chest started to move up and down rapidly as her breathing accelerated.

"Master?" Seras whispered with a wounded look in her eyes.

"The punishment has to be severe, Seras." Alucard repeated. "I'm sorry," He then held out his hand to her. "Let's just get this done and over with."

"Master," Seras whispered. Such fear shone in her eyes before she wrapped her arms tighter around her legs.

"Seras," Alucard whispered. His lashes lowered a little over his glistening red eyes. He did his damnedest not to show how bothered he was by this; how badly he didn't want to do this. But this was for her safety. "It must be done." The two stared at each other for a long few seconds until his Draculina found her courage. Her eyes drifted down to stare at his open hand. Taking a deep breath, she licked over her lips and cautiously slipped her trembling hand into his.

"I'm scared." She admitted to him in a soft sob. Her master gingerly curled his fingers around her hand in hope to soothe her some.

"I promise to make it quick." He responded as he helped her to her feet.

"Miss...Victoria," Sebastian spoke, hesitating on his words. The scared fledgling glanced up at him. There was a look in his eyes that told her he wasn't proud of what had to be done. Much like Alucard, he too looked bothered, but Seras didn't know if that thought should comfort her or not. It was nice knowing that her mentors cared and didn't want to hurt her, but that wasn't going to help with the pain that was to come. "I hope you understand why we chose this particular punishment." The demon's eyes flickered down her face. For a moment, he raised his hand, looking as if he was about to cup her face in an attempt to comfort her. But, instead, his fingers curled into his hand and he refrained himself from touching her. Seras lightly nodded her head while she tried to keep from crying.

"You're afraid that Integra's punishment will be far worse if you guys don't act." The little vampire answered. She again nodded. "I understand."

"We don't want to do it, but we have to in order to protect you." The demon further explained.

"I understand." Seras repeated in a whisper.

"Good," Sebastian murmured and he lowered his gaze in shame. Taking another deep breath, the Draculina looked back up at her master.

"Let's...get it over with." The small blonde sighed with a defeated look in her eyes.
