Chapter Sixteen

Yet again, Alucard and Sebastian had to deal with another disappearance from Seras that left them frustrated, but also highly concerned. They knew how much of a little troublemaker she was when she was just a fledgling. But, at least she had a lot to occupy herself with when the Organization was up and running. She always burned away her energy on missions, training the soldiers, assisting Integra, and getting in some self-training. Foolishly, Alucard and Sebastian had believed that she would calm down a little now that she was pregnant. Surely she would have a lack in energy, right? Some days that was true. Some days, she would just sleep or stay put somewhere because she didn't have the energy to do anything. But, as the elder monsters noticed, other days the Draculina's energy would return tenfold. Normally, they would be able to distract her and burn that energy away with sex. But today was certainly not that type of day.

Alucard and Sebastian were currently standing in the doorway of a particular room, staring in astonishment at their mate. After a few seconds of processing what he was seeing, the demon hung his head and covered his face with his hand. Of all the things she could do to get rid of that energy, she chooses this. Was she trying to give them a heart attack?

"What are you doing, Seras?" Sebastian groaned in exhaustion.

"Okay," Seras spoke softly as she prepared to defend herself. "This is really not what it looks like." She said as she clicked a full magazine into a very large automatic rifle. Here their mate was almost six months pregnant and standing in the weapon locker area while holding a very large gun. What were they supposed to think? They knew how badly Seras was itching to go out and shoot things. She'd been talking about it nonstop for months. But that was the last thing Alucard and Sebastian were going to allow her to do. They weren't going to put their mate or unborn children at risk just so Seras could be a little reckless.

"Just put the rifle down." Alucard instructed her. The little vampire frowned when hearing those words. Miserable, her shoulders slumped, allowing her arms and the gun to hang freely at her side.

"I wasn't going to use it!" She promised them in a whine. "I swear!"

"Put the gun down." The elder vampire repeated with an amused grin.

"I just wanted to hold it and…maybe play with it a little." Their mate pouted as she looked back at her favorite gun.

"So, you were planning to use it?" Sebastian questioned as his hand slipped from his face just to give an elegant wave. "You lied to us?"

"I wasn't going to shoot anyone!" Seras corrected him. "But…I could have shot at some targets or something."

"Seras," The demon sighed and he frowned at her in disappointment. "I get that you're feeling anxious and that you want to blow off some steam, but this isn't safe." He walked across the room just to snatch the gun right out of her hands.

"Hey!" Seras exclaimed from that rude action.

"If you go out looking for trouble, you can risk hurting the twins. Be more responsible." He lectured her.

"But I wasn't going to go out looking for trouble!" The little vampire argued before she glanced over at her Sire. "Alucard!" She called out to him, as if he was going to help her out of this hole she dug herself in. "I wasn't going to do it!" She stated again and looked back at her other mate who took away her favorite toy. "And you don't have to treat me like a child!" She tried snatching for the gun, but he held it up out of reach.

"We must if you think you can play with guns in your state." Sebastian raised his voice while giving her a cold, stern look.

"In my state?! I'm pregnant, not an invalid!" Seras emphasized. She then sassily placed her hands on her hips while she glared daggers at him.

"But you still need to think of someone other than yourself!" The demon yelled at her, purely frustrated by her behavior. This silenced his mate quite quickly. "You have twins that need your protection! You're not a soldier anymore! You're not an officer of the law! You're their mother, and you need to start acting like it!" The little vampire's frown deepened before her gaze left his to stare at the floor. It truly hurt what he said to her. She can understand perfectly why Alucard and Sebastian would constantly be frustrated with her because she still wanted to play soldier. But there's far more to it than they knew. She didn't want to play soldier. She wanted to help people, set a good example for her kids, and make sure they grew up in a world that they could be proud of. How would their children feel growing up and seeing that their people were savages? Vampires and demons, they were nothing but killers taking advantage of the human race. They slaughtered humans and for what? Not to eat, but just to have some fun. It sickened her. Her fingers curled into her hands to create tight fists.

"Sebastian," Seras whispered before she lifted her gaze to look back at him. "I am Chloe and Daniel's mother. I have never denied that. From the moment I knew that I was pregnant, I was already an overprotective mother who would do anything for her kids. I love them more than you can understand, and they aren't even in this world yet. I know that the twins are my number one priority, which is why I'm not out there right now ripping heads off of bodies." She stated calmly though her eyes gave off a hellish look as she proceeded to glare at him. "I think about Chloe and Daniel a lot. But I also think about the world that they're going to grow up in." Seras' eyes flickered over to look at Alucard then. "I am thankful for the life you have given me. I'm thankful that you chose to save me that day, Alucard. But our race is nothing but scum full of murderers and rapists. They disgrace you and everything that vampires used to be. The elders are dead. You are the only one that stands, but you do nothing. Truthfully, it bothers me that you don't wish to take charge and reprimand or execute the vampires that have defiled your name." There was a brief look of shame that crossed over the No Life King's face just before she saw a shimmer of pride. A subtle grin settled on his lips.

"Seras," Alucard attempted to speak, but his mate interrupted.

"I love you and Sebastian a ton. And I love Daniel and Chloe like crazy." She continued with a small smile, hoping to assure them that she will always love them. "But as soon as I get through this pregnancy, and the twins are safe in our arms, I will go out to hunt and kill vampires, and neither of you will be able to stop me." Her mates stood there for a long moment and stared at her. It was hard telling what they were feeling or thinking as they just frowned while looking her up and down. Finally, one of them spoke.

"As you wish, my queen." Alucard whispered with a nod of his head. That was definitely not the answer Seras was expecting. She thought for sure that they would argue and find her behavior appalling. She believed that they would have stopped her from killing her own kind or at least try to remind her that she no longer worked for the Hellsing Organization. Bewildered, her eyes widened and her head drew back. The No Life King grinned so widely and snickered to himself. "Do you keep forgetting that you are a queen?" He asked rhetorically. "If you wish to lay waste to all vampires and start anew, I will stand beside you. You can be a mother and rule as a queen."

"You'll…let me…kill vampires?" Seras asked in disbelief.

"Like you, I am ashamed of how far vampires have fallen. We've lost all grace and act like animals. It's time something was done about it." Her mate purred. "We'll slaughter anyone who goes against us and create legions of powerful, sophisticated vampires, just like the old days."

"Thank you for understanding, Alucard." Seras whispered while she gave him such a loving smile.

"This will wait until your pregnancy is over?" Sebastian questioned, drawing his mate's gaze onto him. She nodded her head in agreement.

"Yes," She answered, earning a soft smile from him.

"Very well," The demon sighed then. He handed her back the automatic rifle. "I have no issue with you killing whoever you wish to kill. If you wish to rule this land and your people, then so be it. I, too, will stand beside you then, Seras." The Draculina's smile shifted to a mischievous grin that was wide enough to show off those sharp fangs.

"It's good to know that you're both on my side." The Draculina purred. "I could always use my king and prince's support."

"We'll always be on your side, no matter what." Sebastian vowed as he placed a hand on his chest and gave a light bow of his head. "Now," The demon purred and stood up right. Those dark red eyes glistened as he stared openly at her with a small smirk. He enclosed the space between him and his mate. Naturally, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her forward until her belly stopped him. "My little wrathful queen, it's late and perhaps it's time for you to get to bed. Your delivery date could happen at any day now. So, let's take it easy these next few days, shall we?" With that, he placed a loving kiss on the top of her head. His mate gave him a peculiar look though. It was a little late, almost five o'clock in the morning. Normally, by now they would be in bed. But usually, she went to bed when they went to bed, which is why she ended up staying up so late. Why weren't they in bed yet? Seras wondered to herself. Alucard and Sebastian both still looked wide awake, she noted. Were her mates not going to bed with her?

"Are you guys coming?" Seras asked with a frown.

"We will, but not right now." The demon told her quickly while lightly shaking his head.

"What?" She murmured. "Why?" The small blonde cocked her head to the side as she studied her mates. Did they want some alone time? Were they going to have sex? Or maybe they wanted some time away from her? Or maybe she has thrown off their sleeping schedule completely from when she had insomnia?

"Don't worry about that, darling." Sebastian tried to assure her. He gave her such a tender look while he gingerly brushed his fingertips over her cheek. But Seras could tell that the man was trying to slip his way out of answering any questions by acting smooth. The little vampire sighed and let the matter go. While it was disappointing that her mates weren't coming to bed with her, she decided not to nag them about it. It wouldn't feel right fishing for answers when they clearly didn't want to give her any answers. They were up to something, but perhaps that was strictly their business. Of course, it made her all the more suspicious, but not knowing was something that she was going to have to live with…for the time being. Seras stood up on her tip toes to place a kiss on the demon's lips.

"Fine," She whispered afterwards.

"Don't be mad." Alucard spoke with that large grin still plastered to his face.

"I'm not." Seras replied. Even though her tone seemed calm, her eyes held a vexation that she couldn't hide from them. She handed the rifle back over to Sebastian before she stepped around him to get to Alucard. "I'm just going to go to bed. I'm not really tired, so I'll probably just stay up and read for a bit in bed." The elder vampire leaned down a little so his tiny mate could kiss him warmly on the lips. He teasingly swept his tongue over her bottom lip, tempting them both to resort to another physical activity. Seras would have leaned back in for another short, but hot kiss if Sebastian hadn't interrupted.

"Try and sleep, Seras, it will help you." Sebastian told her in a strict tone. Okay, now she was really starting to feel like he was trying to get rid of her. He wanted her to be asleep so he and Alucard can do something without her knowledge of it, but what? What were they planning to do? She could tell for a fact that the demon was actually worried that he was going to get caught doing something. The Draculina turned to give Sebastian a bizarre look. He was simply giving her such a fake smile that was meant to ease her, but it was only doing the opposite. She was dying to question him further, but decided against it. No, she trusted Alucard and Sebastian one hundred percent.

"I'll try," Seras murmured. Feeling so defeated, the small blonde left the room. Did she have a right to question them? Would that be too invasive of her? She knew perfectly well that she was their mate, but there were still boundaries on a person's privacy. She just didn't know when she was allowed to cross those boundaries and when she shouldn't. Was now a time? She wanted answers so badly, but that could be overstepping. She could seem clingy or like she's trying to dictate their relationship. But what did they have to hide? Why were they both being so secretive? What were they doing together that she wasn't allowed to be a part of or even know about? If they did just want alone time together and/or were going to have sex, they didn't have to hide that from her. So, it couldn't be that. Then what else? Were they going to sneak out somewhere? Were they doing something in town? Maybe they were hunting? Still, not something they would or should hide from her.

An unwanted thought then popped into her head. Maybe Alucard and Sebastian were cheating on her. Immediately, Seras shook her head as if she was trying to shake that thought right out. No! She trusted them! One hundred percent! She kept reminding herself. But that thought just wouldn't leave her alone. It's been a while since she's had sex with them. How long has it been now? Two, almost three months? They fooled around every now and then, but Seras couldn't pinpoint the last time she had sex with either male. It was just hard for her to get in the mood when there was so much going on. She doesn't ever feel sexy, she's always uncomfortable, and she was always tired from the lack of sleep. Alucard and Sebastian both were incredibly understanding whenever she turned them down, but it always ended up making her feel so guilty.

She had noticed that her mates were having sex with each other a ton these last two months, and she wondered if it was because she kept rejecting them. Possibly. Seras wanted to have sex, she wanted to express her love for them physically and take them until they were cumming hard. But she just wasn't able to. Not right now at least. Were Alucard and Sebastian cheating on her? That unpleasant thought resurfaced, making her feel sick to her stomach. Were they looking for sexual satisfaction elsewhere since she refused to provide it? Her stomach twisted and churned. The girl groaned in pure misery. It wasn't like she didn't want to! She wasn't doing this to them on purpose! Like them, Seras wanted that type of intimacy; she wanted to be physically close to them and feel that mind numbing pleasure. Hell! Earlier when Alucard kissed her she had felt excitement in the pit of her stomach. Perhaps it would have led to something more. It just wasn't her fault that getting into the mood was so hard while pregnant!

Unless…Was it her fault? Was she just no longer interested in having sex? She had heard about these types of relationships before, most of them being marriages. It starts off hot and heavy, but then, basically, the passion and intimacy dies. Was she one of those wives? Will she just never be in the mood again? Seras knew that her thought process was absolutely ridiculous and that she was overthinking it. But she couldn't help but worry. What if she'll never be in the mood for sex again?! Do having children really kill the intimacy between husband and wife?! Or what if they can have sex, but none of them will ever be in the mood because they're always too tired after taking care of the kids?! In that case, should she try having sex with Alucard and Sebastian now and as much as possible before their children are born?! But that would involve her having to get in the mood and that was why they weren't having sex in the first place!

"This is all so frustrating!" Seras growled through gritted teeth. Automatically, the small blonde turned around and started making her way back down the corridor towards the armory. Saying she was annoyed was putting it mildly. Her eyes burned hellishly as she dug her nails painfully into the palm of her hands. One of her fangs had pierced her bottom lip, but she didn't pay any mind to it, not even when she tasted blood. She walked down that hall unsure of what she will do or say when she meets back up with her mates. She wasn't necessarily mad at them, but mostly at herself. Has she been incredibly selfish? Should she have put Alucard and Sebastian's needs before hers? But she knew how absurd that was. Yes, she was their mate and she was head over heels in love with them. But that didn't mean that she had to sexually satisfy them every single night for the rest of eternity, especially if she wasn't up for it.

Thankfully, Alucard and Sebastian had never pushed or pressured her into having sex. When she said 'no', they let the matter go. But Seras couldn't help feeling tremendously guilty for not satisfying them. She needed to be assured that the intimacy between them will never die; that she'll still want them, even after having kids. Will they still want her? Will they still find her attractive? She just needed to know. She needed comfort, and right now sex was the only thing that was going to give her that comfort. Seras did her best to fish for that feeling Alucard made her feel earlier when he kissed her. That rush of excitement and the need to be in his arms. The feeling did return, but it was just a ghost of what it once was; it just wasn't strong enough to put her in the mood. But that wasn't going to stop her.

The Draculina desperately searched her memories, trying to find past experiences of heated moments. All the times Alucard and Sebastian had kissed her, grabbed her, touched her, and fucked her. So many different memories raced through her head, helping her get into the mood as quickly as possible before she finds her mates. Her stomach was tight and she could start to feel that excitement bubbling in the pit of her stomach. Her body felt warm and her heart beat just a little bit faster. Seras quickened her pace as her eyes hastily scanned each corridor and door she passed, looking for the dark haired males. She could sense that they were near. Passing the armory, she found it unoccupied so she walked right on by without stopping. They couldn't have gone far.

"You really do find everything you say to be quite humorous, don't you?" Sebastian spoke. His tone gave off just how peeved he was. By the sound of it, they were in the middle of a conversation. Seras paused to peek down a connected corridor. From where she stood, she could see how cold the demon was being as he walked smoothly down the corridor. Alucard has his hands stuffed away in his coat pockets. As normal, he practically strolled down that corridor with an air of arrogance around him.

"You don't think I'm funny?" Alucard snickered. He didn't appear bothered at all by this and only seemed to get amusement out of it. Walking away from her were the two monsters she had been looking for.

"I think you're annoying." The demon admitted. The little vampire's brows furrowed together. Were Alucard and Sebastian fighting? She could have sworn they got along pretty well, like a house on fire. Weren't they still lovers? A part of her wanted to keep listening in, but she knew how rude that would have been. If anything was wrong with their relationship, surely they would have told her, right?

"Hey!" Seras exclaimed before she chased after them the best she could. Alarmed by her sudden appearance, the demon swung around to look at her with wide eyes. The elder vampire paused, but only to look at her lazily over his shoulder.

"Seras?" Sebastian muttered as he looked her over in a panic. Was there something wrong? He thought worriedly. But his mate appeared to be perfectly fine. Seeing this, he sighed and stood up straighter. "I thought you had gone to bed." The little vampire, slightly out of breath, stopped in front of them.

"Let's have sex." She suggested, causing the males to blink stupidly at her.

"That was completely unexpected." The demon commented softly. It bothered her somewhat that he didn't look very thrilled or even happy by it. Alucard, however, was grinning from ear to ear. His red eyes simmered with lust and hunger before he ran his tongue over his fangs.

"Are you sure you're up for it?" The elder vampire asked in that deep resonating voice. It instantly sent chills down her spine.

"What?" Sebastian exclaimed and he glanced back at Alucard in bewilderment. "Alucard," The demon said in a strict tone, but it was clear that he was being ignored. His eyes followed him as the No Life King walked right past him to get to his mate. Seras smiled so warmly up at her master. She was so delighted with the way he was looking at her. For a brief moment, she felt…sexy again. A blush tainted her cheeks and she bashfully lowered her gaze. Alucard didn't allow this. With a soft chuckle, the elder monster pressed his fingertips under her chin and tilted her head back so their gazes met once more. "Alucard, we shouldn't. We need…" Sebastian proceeded to try and sway the vampire from temptation. But he was interrupted.

"I think you're upsetting our bride. Think before you speak, Michaelis." Alucard warned him. The demon anxiously glanced over at the Draculina to see her giving him such a wounded look. Straightaway, that look stung him.

"I didn't mean it that way, Seras." Sebastian attempted to explain. "Sex would be a marvelous treat, but…" Again he was interrupted.

"It's okay if you don't want to have sex. I just thought…since we haven't had it in a while…that you would want to." Seras mumbled timidly. Staring at her for a moment or two, the demon sighed and hung his head in shame. He then took out his pocket watch and clicked it open. Glancing at the time, his frown shifted to a small smirk and he snickered under his breath.

"We do have time to kill." He murmured to himself. "Very well then," Closing his pocket watch and placing it back where it belonged, he gave his adorable mate a seductive smile. "Are you positive that this is what you want, darling?" The demon asked as he walked down the corridor towards her, looking as if he was prowling. If Seras wasn't in the mood before, then she was definitely in the mood now from that look he was giving her. Sebastian's suggestive eyes glistened with warmth, arousal, and an animalistic need. He truly looked like a beast that wanted to devour her whole. The little vampire gulped as the butterflies in her stomach flapped incredibly hard for the man.

"I want this." Seras breathed while she stared at him, unable to blink, no less think.

"Good," Sebastian whispered. As to not waste any time, he didn't bother stopping. The demon wrapped his fingers around her wrist and yanked her so she had no choice but to follow him down the corridor. "We'll go easy on you."

Even though he had promised that they would go easy on her, Seras swore that they broke that promise several times. The men had really showed just how badly they had wanted her, letting loose those animal urges and took her as if it would be the last time. The only thing that kept them somewhat rationally sane was when they were reminded to be careful repeatedly by their mate. But, in the end, their intense, somewhat ferocious lovemaking lulled their mate into a deep and peaceful sleep. It was just what she needed after such a long and rather terrible month. However, it was unknowing to her that the sex, while remarkable, was not enough to make the monsters stay put. As soon as they found their mate fast asleep and purring away, Alucard and Sebastian got dressed and slipped away. Seras was completely unaware of their absence until she woke up at eight in the morning.

The little vampire stretched out her numb arms and legs as far as they would go. With that nice stretch, she moaned before a yawn snuck up on her. Tiredly, Seras cracked open her eyes to find that she was entirely alone in the bed. There was no immediate reaction from her. She simply stared at Alucard's side of the bed for a long few seconds. And then, she turned to look over her shoulder. Yep, Sebastian was gone too. She noted before she glanced up at the ceiling. Where did they go? Seras absently ran her fingers through her messy hair as she licked over her dry lips. Once more, she was back to being curious about what her mates were up to. Was it something that she needed to worry about or could she just go back to bed? Sleep sounded beyond nice to the Draculina. But, unfortunately, she knew that she couldn't rest until she knew where her mates were and what they were up to.

"Damn," Seras sighed while throwing back the sheet that covered her nudity. It took her several tries, but she was eventually able to rock herself up into a sitting position and crawl her way off the bed. Cautiously, looking like a kid in new skates, Seras slowly stepped onto the floor while desperately holding onto the bed for support. She already had the misfortune of falling once from climbing out of bed, and she was not going to let that happen again. She absently stuck out her tongue as she tried to find her footing before she fully stood up on her own. Now, where were her damn clothes? Seras looked begrudgingly at the floor to find her clothes littered about. Sitting up and getting out of bed was hard enough, but bending over or kneeling was the absolute worse! Not only did it kill her back and knees, but it was practically impossible to get back up. And bending over, she would be beyond lucky if she was actually able to get what she was trying to reach. At this point, picking up those clothes was an impossible task that she would leave to one of her two mates who can bend without any problems.

Stepping over her clothes, the Draculina made her way over towards the large wardrobe to retrieve a new outfit. She didn't want the hassle of putting on pants, especially since she planned on going straight to bed after seeing what her mates were up to. So, she simply grabbed a royal blue maternity dress and slipped it on. Seras caressed over her swollen stomach before she pulled at the skirt until the fabric smoothed out the wrinkles. Feeling a bit more decent, the little vampire turned on her heel and was about to leave the room when the phone suddenly stopped her. The unexpected ringing of the phone caused her to jump before she hastily looked over her shoulder. There sitting on top of the desk was the white phone. From where she stood, she could see the red light blinking for the front gate, indicating that someone was there waiting to be invited in. Seras furrowed her brows and before the phone could ring for a second time, she turned and picked it up. Instantly she heard the sound of a loud engine on the other end.

"Hello?" She answered, wondering if the person would be able to hear her over all that noise.

"Hello?" A woman responded. "Can you hear me? Are you there?"

"Who is this?" Seras asked outright.

"Ma'am, I'm here for a delivery for a Mr. Sebastian Michaelis. Is he here or will you be present for him today?" The woman asked. When the Draculina didn't immediately answer, the human proceeded. "Someone will have to sign that the packages were delivered. Will you be signing for him, Ma'am?"

"What is being delivered?" The little vampire asked. Her brows were drawn so close together as she wracked her brain to try and figure out what it was that her mate ordered. Is this the secret that Alucard and Sebastian had been hiding from her all morning? Is this what they wanted to wait up for?

"I have no idea. I was only told by the company to deliver them to this address." The woman answered.

"Seras?" Sebastian spoke, making Seras gasp with a jolt. The small blonde turned to find her mates standing in the open doorway of the room. There was an awkward silence between both girls as one waited on the other. At the moment, Seras was only capable of standing there and stare at her mates while they frowned at her in disapproval. Calmly, the demon walked across the room towards her.

"Ma'am, are you going to buzz me in?" The woman asked as she waited semi-patiently for a response. "Ma'am?" Even though the men weren't showing any form of hostility towards her, she felt a strange sense of danger in the air. "Are you there?" The way they stared at her, like she had greatly disappointed them, it was deeply unsettling. It reminded her of when she was a fledgling and constantly screwed up only to be scolded by them. But this time, she wasn't being scolded. Instead she was only given a look that made her feel cold. When Sebastian reached her, he carefully slipped the phone out of his mate's grasp. "Ma'am?"

"Where did she go?" They heard a male ask on the other end.

"I don't know." The woman responded. "Maybe I should try buzzing in again?"

"No need," Sebastian spoke into the receiver.

"Oh!" The human exclaimed when she finally got a response.

"I apologize," The demon added while he proceeded giving his mate a look that shamed her. "Come in through the main gate. You may park in the front and unload there." Before the woman could even respond, Sebastian hung up the phone. He then pressed a single button to open the front gates, allowing the delivery truck to come through. Not once did he stop staring at her. He didn't even blink. "We thought you were in bed." Sebastian simply stated. His mate lightly shook her head.

"No," She whispered. "I woke up and you were both gone. I was going to come looking for you guys but then…the phone rang."

"You answered it before I could." The demon muttered. He then sighed deeply through his nose before he turned to gesture at the bed. "Would you please go back to bed, Seras?"

"Why are you and Alucard being so secretive?" Seras asked him. "What is being delivered?"

"Just something for a project, now please go back to bed." Sebastian raised his voice a little. It infuriated the little vampire that they both proceeded to act like nothing was going on. She wasn't dumb! She could see that something was happening!

"Stop being so cryptic!" She demanded. "Why can't you just tell me what is being delivered?"

"Because it's obviously a surprise, Draculina." Alucard interrupted. His mate turned her gaze onto him, looking all the more confused. The elder vampire was leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed over his chest. While there was annoyance there in his eyes, a creepy grin was stretched across his lips. "It's so very clear. You should have easily guessed it."

"A…surprise?" Seras asked before she looked back at the demon suspiciously. Were they telling her the truth? Or was he just saying this to get her off of their backs?

"Why do you sound so shocked?" Alucard snickered. "We try and do something nice for you, but every step of the way you try sabotaging our plans because why? We're being secretive so you automatically think that we're up to no good?" His grin faltered to form a frown then. "You always say how we should trust you, Seras. But you've made it clear that you don't trust us the second Michaelis and I don't involve you in something."

"Well said, Alucard." Sebastian responded. A red tinge spread across the girl's cheeks before she shamefully lowered her head. "Is this why you wanted to have sex so badly this morning? Is it because you thought we were planning to be unfaithful?" She could hear it in the sound of his voice how truly upset and hurt he was by what she thought of them. "Why is it that you don't trust us, Seras? Have we done something that would have you question our fidelity to you?" Seras opened her mouth, but was immediately shut down when the demon raised his hand to stop her from speaking. She could see the clear anger in his eyes and knew that this little argument wasn't going to blow over anytime soon. "Just don't say anything." The demon spoke. "Alucard and I don't have time for this type of discussion. We have to meet with the delivery people; they must be waiting for us." He turned his back on her then. "Why don't you just go back to bed? Or better yet, think about what was said here and why you don't fully trust us." The door closed behind them as Alucard and Sebastian left the room, leaving her alone with her thoughts and feelings.
