The day of Mary Margaret's and David's wedding arrived with the sun shining bright and not a single cloud in the sky..

The morning started in a frenzy for all of the ladies, trying to look their absolute best for such an important occasion and yelling at the men in their lives to ensure they also looked their best.

Last minute ironing, polishing, and sewing caused more than one minor panic attack.

But despite all of the craziness, there was still a wonderful feeling of ease thanks to knowing that Neal was not going to be able to show up and ruin everything.

The entire venue looked like an enchanted garden. Garlands of flowers hung from the ceiling and were wrapped around every pillar. Tiny pearls and gemstones were placed in the arrangements to add some sparkle.

Since Mary Margaret was Jewish, and David's family were not very religious, most of the elements of the ceremony adhered to Judaic tradition.

When Mary Margaret was escorted in by her parents, David had to be held back by his to keep from moving toward her.

As the couple stood under the chappa while the seven blessings were read, the love that radiated between the two was easily seen by all in attendance. Neither one took their eyes off of each other throughout the whole ceremony until the end, and David needed to look where the silk pouch was in order to break the glass.

Everyone shouted "Mazal Tov!" and cheered the newly wedded couple.

The ceremony was filled with elegance and emotion.

The reception was filled with music, dancing, and a lot of laughing.

That last part was due to a constant search for the bride and groom, who kept sneaking away from their own party to spend some time alone together.

"No starting your honeymoon yet, you two." Ruby demanded with glee, pulling the newly wedded couple out of the janitor's closet they had been hiding and making out in.

"I think Dave is wishing he had asked Mary Margaret to elope." Killian said.

"Wasn't going to happen. Both of their families would have been heartbroken if they didn't see them married." Emma replied. "Though I bet they are both wishing time would speed up so they can go on their honeymoon. Thinking it over, she asked Killian, "Do you know where he's taking her?"

"He wanted it to be a surprise. He's rented a place. It's the only house on a little island in the middle of a lake. They'll have plenty of privacy. But they'll also be able to visit shops and restaurants if they want to. Since they'll have a motor boat to get to and from the island."

"Sounds perfect for those two."

Killian nodded in agreement and hoped that what he had planned would be considered perfect for his Swan and himself.
