Hello people!

As you are aware it is Shinju, this here is my first fanfic aptly named Perseus: God of War!

The franchises Percy Jackson and God of War are owned by Rick Riordan and David Jaffe.

Any Greek/Latin words and phrases used are through Google Translate (Greek/Latin)

I don't beat around the bush so let start with the story:

Dream Sequence

Percy POV

Location: Master Bedroom

I looked around; I was in a tent…. from the looks of it, drapes of blue and white hung, a triad of weapons…my weapons…a sword, shield and the spear lying in the corner.

I looked towards my hands…. caked in dried blood as I drank wine. Good wine.

I looked into the flames flickering at the side, providing me with warmth …reminding me of a woman in a pale blue gown…. Mother.

I knew it was foreign…the son of Sally Jackson…. calling another woman his mother, but somewhere deep down I felt a connection. A connection that had been there since ages past.

My line of thought was broken by the sound of the tent flap opening, a man who appeared to be my age, came in smiling brightly.

"My Friend…. Teacher."

Teacher.

I was good, I knew that…. ("What, you defeat or kill more than half of the Greco-Roman pantheon single-handedly, and you are bound to be a little arrogant.") … but I was no Teacher.

Gaining Skills…All for it…. Imparting them…. Fuck That!

"What brings you here, my friend?" I asked as I swirled the glass of wine in my hand.

"I just completed going through the routine training…" He replied.

"Are you ready?" I asked the much-awaited question, didn't know for what but I presumed it must be battle since you don't have your hands dyed in blood for nothing.

"I am." Came the disciplined response.

"Are you ready to kill?" I asked in a much …much harsher tone.

He hesitated… "Are you ready to look in the eyes of the men you kill as the light leaves their eyes?"

"I am the strongest mortal man in existence, yet I fall before the many nightmares that plague me…. Of the men I have killed"

Small Flashback

"Mercy!Please."

"Ask it in the Underworld." I coldly reply. I strike him down.

"M-monster…" Another stammers.

"No…warrior." I respond.

"AHH!"

Small Flashback Over

I continued as I swirled the wine once more before taking a sip, "They stand at the waters of the River of Mortality and say… Welcome Brother…Welcome. As I get pulled inside the waves of hands that tear into me."

He looked terrified. I looked at my reflection in the cup…just as haunted.

He tried speaking up but I interrupted him, "I taught you how to fight, but not why to fight... So why do you fight?Hmm?"

"I fight for you…"

"And when I am gone…my ashes one with the dirt we walk on…then what…whom will you fight for?"

"The king?" looking unsure he continued "Afterall I am a soldier…and soldiers obey."

"We men are wretched little things, aren't we? Be it soldier or king. We could have all the power, money, fame and boons in the world yet we would want more. That is what a soldier would follow? Soldiers do what they are told. Die when they are told to die. Following foolish kings and generals they have never even met."

"Don't waste your life…live it!... because Thanatos wouldn't give a damn about your regrets or mine when he comes."

My friend looked uneasy.

"Go! Go… Patroclus."

Dream Sequence End

Gasp!

Patroclus…what the hell?!

Why… was a dead…uh... hero? In my dreams. It felt like the time I had the dream about Hercules and Zoe but a lot more kinship with the dream.

I could of course consult Apollo or even Rachel, but I didn't want to owe anyone…not right now. It would put me in the limelight once again. May be The Fates were screwing with me? You know because I was not only capable enough to stand up to them but also screw them to the Void and back.

My back was sore, after all I had not only fought and faded a God but I had to then take care of Liana and Estelle and had gone to sleep in a chair beside the bed. They were currently both asleep in their respective beds. Uh… Liana was asleep in mine…the exhaustion and trauma of nearly getting raped took a heavy toll on her.

I looked towards the alarm clock on the bedside table…it was still 4 AM. There goes a good night sleep! Shitty dreams.

Let's get some training in…

Two Hours Later…. SpongeBob would be proud.

28….29…30! I mentally counted.

Damn even a Cobra Stretch was hard after a two-hour workout.

"Phew…"

"Uh…" I turned.

Liana.

"What?"

She shakily pointed at my sweaty attire… well only tracks and pair of jogging shoes.

"Oh…" Liana looked a little dazed.

"Liana…." I clicked my fingers in front of her face.

"Uh…. oh…Cough." She came out of her stupor and cleared her throat, looking embarrassed if her red cheeks were anything to go by.

"So…I would like to ask even if I know it isn't much…how are you feeling?" I asked.

"I'm fine…" she muttered.

"You don't have to lie to me…Liana" I replied. I walked up to her and hugged her. At first, she flinched…then eased into the hug, softly crying.

"Shhh…" I soothed her. Hercules…you fucking bastard.

"It's going to be okay and Hercules has uh… faded."

"What…"

"He faded… I made him fade. He will no longer harm anyone…there will be no more victims…no more Zoe Nightshades."

"You made him fade…how?" she asked breaking the hug and looking in my eyes.

"I think it was my will being enforced upon him as well as the sword's power itself."

"Sword?"

"Anaklusmos, my sword."

"Oh…"

"Plus, I got a cool Quin dent out of it…Zoe appeared to me using the last of her immortal power to reforge it." Intentionally keeping the part about the fusion of the club of Hercules for her sake.

"You put your life in harm's way for me…wouldn't Lord Zeus be unhappy?"

"Nah…. well yea, but he is not going to cause a war with me against him."

Thunder boomed. Liana looked scared…waiting for the lightning strike to occur…but it did not.

Who pulls of theatrics at Six in the morning?

"And I will always put my life on the line for people I care about." I continued.

"I thank you…"

"Like I said…no problem. Take a day off… have a cup of coffee…Iris message your mother…let her know you are fine. Just keep conversations about me vague. I don't need a new headache."

"That's the least I could do… Once again I thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Then she left…with a certain ease in her step.

"Pewcy…"

Oh, come on…

I turned again… Estelle stood, looking cute in her baby blue pajamas and a dolphin plushie in her arm and another rubbing her eyes.

"Hello, my little mermaid. How are you this fine morning?" I spoke as I knelt down and hugged her. Her head in the crook of my neck.

"Pointy…" she muttered sleepily.

Yeah, I had to shave.

"Let's put you back to sleep for now." I had to take her to UBC today…Sigh.

After Shower

Steam evaporated from the surface of my skin…I looked in the mirror. Clean shaven.

"This is tough…"

"Man, how much time until I have a break…"

"Oh…look at that hot body…"

What the actual fuck…where did the voices come from.

"Damn, this blade is heavy as Hades…"

I put my hands on my head to make the voices stop…hundreds …may be thousands of voices, the buzzing was getting painful. It was gnawing at my mind.

What were these voices…. faces…even faces of what looked to be demigods from the camps…why?

I knew they wouldn't stop if I didn't do anything so I did the one thing I could do… I went back to basics and flung the towel that was around my waist and turned the shower on. As the water flowed down my head, it soothed me and gave me sense of relief.

Sigh.

I couldn't really remember anything that would help me in this situation. I knew this was probably harmful and I had to get it checked in some manner.

I willed the water to evaporate and got out…not naked mind you.

As I got changed in my clothes and turned towards the mirror, I saw a hazy flicker of blonde man staring back at me. Before I could fully make out the reflection it was gone.

Honestly…my time in Tartarus was making me go crazy…less sleep was a normal occurrence for me.

I took my most trusted weapon, The Pen. In a jiffy it turned in the Quin dent I received, gleaming in its sea green aura. I still couldn't believe I now wielded two weapons on the same level at the Divine Weapons of the Gods.

Gods…no consequences to their actions…why and yet when we call them for help and protection from the things, they themselves created, we are ignored. Heroes left in the dust. While I spout that I am not a hero, I wish I could be…but the term we coin for such beings is very blurry in its description. It depends on a perspective, an idea that every era has. Perseus, a hero by name and by history. But a monster at heart. Medusa, a women scorned and made to be the monster she is now.

I did not like her, but I understood her grief and I wanted to know what made her what she is, oh I knew the legends and stories, but what really happened that night. Only known to three. Medusa, Athena and Poseidon.

Poseidon.

My father. If what one legend says is true, then am I like my father? Will I also do those things. I hope not. Sally Jackson may have passed on but her teachings live on…in me.

All this self-reflection made me decide one thing. I would change the world for the half-bloods. Be it Greek or Roman. There would come a time when a hero was a hero. But this still left one question unanswered, "Did the Gods fit in?"

Annabeth POV

Location: Mount Olympus Streets

It had been a little over two years since he had left.

Percy.

It had been a hard time for me. Aphrodite had been angry at me for what had happened between Percy and I. I knew it was wrong but Percy was terrifying in Tartarus and even before then he was the person always to deal with a problem. I knew he cared but he was a man with no dreams, no aspirations and no ambitions. I could never give my heart to such a man. That didn't have a drive beyond the "good of everybody". Yes, the things that he wished for laid the foundations for an era of peace and prosperity but it also slowed down innovation. No competition led to loss of purpose.

But after a long period of time, he returned and those feelings that had been buried deep down resurfaced. Oh, those arms….

This Percy reminded me of the Percy that was a Hero…. but that too was shot down when he kil…faded Hercules.

How?

How could one mortal, no matter the child of the Big Three fade a god. It was unconceivable.

But Percy was known to moonwalk on the line of unconceivable.

It reminded me of the Percy whom I was beside in Tartarus, the man with no morals and only cared about survival. Yes, I too wanted to survive but this was madness. The Rage. The Cruelty.

I would never forget it.

It also reminded me of my conversation with my mother.

She slapped me. Me! Her chosen daughter. The daughter who built Olympus from the ashes. The daughter who completed quests that saved the world. The daughter who defeated Arachne and who got the Mark of Athena. I was one of The Seven.

And for what… one measly boy, who would be nothing today if not for me, the greatest strategist the world had ever seen.

I was confused, angry and regretful all at the same time. Athena was right about one thing; emotions were useless in the real world. They would make you question yourself in the best of times.

I didn't know where I stood with my feelings for Percy or my mother.

I was angry because my mother sided with him.

I still felt guilty because of what Percy went through…but my logic was sound. Anybody with a grain of salt would have done the same thing.

I was making my way to the Council Chambers of Olympus, my fellow minor gods and goddesses sneered at me. It had been like this from the time the Love Goddess leaked the conversations that happened between The War and my ascension.

And why not, a demigod had gotten them the things they had deserved from the time Olympus came into existence. Recognition and Acceptance. That demigod got their voices to be heard. No longer would demigods of minor gods have to stay in an overcrowded cabin.

I walked into the Council Chamber and sat at the base of my mother's Throne. I looked up and nodded towards my mother. We both knew what todays agenda would be.

Percy Jackson.

Whatever be the decision of the Council, I promised myself this, Percy Jackson would not endanger what I had a hand in creating.

General POV

Location: Council Chamber, Mount Olympus.

Time: Midday.

As Zeus sat on his Throne, he surveyed the room.

Dionysus was like usual sipping his diet coke.

Hades and his son, talking about ghosts and the gloomy domain of the Underworld.

Demeter was thinking about something, he didn't know and from the looks of it didn't really care.

Hestia, the older sister tending to the Hearth as always.

Apollo and Artemis as usual quarrelling about the elder sibling.

Athena and her daughter were looking at each other, The Wisdom Talk.

Aphrodite was …. glaring at the daughter of Athena, it had become a common thing now.

Hermes was arguing with those twin snakes of his.

Hephaestus as usual tinkering with some tool.

Hercules's empty throne was falling paler every day. That Blasted Jackson!

Zeus's wife was sitting beside him in her regal gown, oh he was so going to tap that tonight! (/AN: Somethings never change.)

Poseidon on the other side looking at him, they both knew what was the agenda that would be discussed today.

Zeus coughed and the members of the Council turned their attention towards me.

"I have called today's meeting for reasons you are already aware about."

"Perseus…" answered Athena. Artemis for some reason looked anxious.

"Yes…"

"I don't see the problem." Demeter stated.

"Sister?" asked Hera. It was no secret that Perseus and Hera hated each other. The former because of the memory wipe thing and the latter because of the stamp of infidelity.

"He saved my daughter…killed Hercules…you should be happy." Replied Demeter.

"I…am." She spoke softly. Zeus still heard it. He turned his head to his wife and glared, Hera of course glared back.

"Then why?" Demeter in turn asked.

"A demigod this strong shouldn't exist."

"Stop…" The interruption came from Poseidon. But nobody seemed to listen to him.

"I say let just kill him right now…" Dionysus of course.

"Stop…"

"I don't think it…" Apollo.

"STOP!" Poseidon roared as the chamber quaked.

Everybody turned silent, Zeus was shaking with rage in his seat. Hera put her hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

"You are talking about my son. The person who has saved us not once but twice. He has saved your daughter from Atlas, Zeus. Brought our family closer and for what? So that you all can plot on how to kill him."

"He has the ability to fade a God, was capable enough to defeat a God at the age twelve…twelve! And a God of War at that…. fucking War!" Zeus shouted back.

"I believe as long as we leave him alone, he wouldn't care for what we do." Demeter tried to mediate.

"You are just happy he killed a man that tried to rape your daughter." Hera said back.

Hestia finally got fed up of the constant bickering "Shut up! All of you!"

"All of you are all more than 2700 years old…and all day the only thing you do is bicker among each other. Percy Jackson is to be left alone and that's final."

"But…" tried interrupting Zeus.

THWACK! "Shut up! One more word out of you and I will ground you from entering the mortal world for a year! Then that mortal woman you will not see for the foreseeable future."

"YOU WHAT!?" Hera turned towards her husband.

"Well, you see…" Zeus stuttered.

"I am going to my own temple tonight…" Hera said with a tone of finality.

And just like that Zeus and Hades looked twins more than siblings.

"Aunt Hestia…you advise us of what we can do…doesn't it put you on edge even a little bit knowing what Perry Johnson is capable of?" Dionysus inquired politely, instead with the usual arrogance.

"My answer remains the same. I am the goddess of The Hearth and Family, Perseus Jackson cares for Family. As long as we leave him and the people he cares for alone, he will stay his hand."

"If someone strays from this condition, then what…" Dionysus tried asking but was interrupted by Apollo.

"Armageddon…" he answered softly, but was heard clearly, too clearly. Tension hanging thick in the air.

"I am not sure what Percy Jackson represents, but I can say one thing. Percy once asked What can one hero do? Well, one hero can bring change. But Percy Jackson is The Change personified."

"A tide with no rock big or large enough to counter it. A current with an unpredictable flow. A whirlpool with its center leading to Tartarus. That is what Percy Jackson is."

Everybody looked pensive. Apollo stared off into space again. Artemis, smacked him on the head.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"The only time you are actually poetic is during an important discussion."

"I would like to modify it a little bit…" Athena stated.

"What then..." Zeus asked, finally calming his wife.

"I am already teaching a course in the University he is attending. I can keep an eye on him."

"What after that…" whined Zeus.

"We will figure something out…for now it is the best plan." Surprisingly Annabeth spoke up since she was a Minor Goddess.

Everybody left one by one, Poseidon stared at Zeus one last time before leaving.

Clarisse POV

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Time: Midday

It had been a terrifying day yesterday. Prissy…No Percy Jackson, the name would be remembered for all time. He had faded an Olympian. Had caught Zeus's attack, mocked him in public, stood up to the Fates and warned both the Gods and the Fates to stay clear of his path all in the same day.

My younger self would have judged this attitude to be foolishness. But now, I knew that Percy Jackson was a being with no equal. Oh, he may not be as strong as The Protogenoi but in his humbleness, he hid his fury.

After yesterday's events the situation at camp had almost become sour. People would walk with an eye on their backs. Cocky demigods had become a little subdued. They now knew the fury of Percy Jackson.

Things for the Ares Cabin had become a little easy. Oh, they still whispered behind our backs but, they knew that having Percy Jackson as a friend meant you had a little control at Camp.

But I still didn't understand one thing. Percy called himself a Warrior, not a Hero. Even after Tartarus, he never showed himself to be a warrior. What changed? Loyalty was his fatal flaw. Betrayal would have hurt him not destroyed his personality and re-constructed it as a battle-hardened general. I intended to find out?

But I also knew that being in close proximity with Percy would get me under the Gods Eyes. But I was determined to know this and maybe…just maybe be something more than comrades or friends.

I accepted my growing feelings for the man who gave me the opportunity to prove myself to my Comrades, Siblings and Myself as a capable Hero during the Golden Fleece Fiasco. He urged me to see my bond with Silena. He didn't look down on me for being My Father's Daughter.

I walked towards The Big House to find Chiron.

Percy POV

Location: UBC

Time: Break between Classes.

It had been a tiring day.

But Estelle was having a hurricane of a day. Everybody, be it teachers or my fellow university students had cooed and asked me to let them hold her. Estelle was enjoying the new environment and the attention. Thankfully she only cried when it was a break probably to change her, which was now.

As I finished dropping the mini bomb of destruction known as a soaked diaper in the dustbin, I heard someone walking up behind me. I instinctively put my free arm in my pocket.

Ms. Bronte.

"There is no need for that, Perseus. I come in peace." Said the disguised goddess.

"Says the goddess who wanted me dead and now knows what I am capable of." Replied Percy uncaringly.

"So, what do I owe this pleasure of having the Great Goddess Athena visit Lil' old me?"

"I see your attitude still hasn't changed…"

"Of course, not…so let get down to the point of this meeting. You are either here for three reasons. One, you want to learn how to take care of a toddler. Two, you believe I am a very good student or three, you are here because the Thunder Baby sent you." Cue thunder.

"Don't pull the sass on me Jackson but yes, I am here because on my father's orders."

She continued. "I have been instructed to continue my classes as always with a close eye on you Perseus. This goes without saying but I will drop in at any time at your place and check up on you there as well."

"Yippee…I have my own stalker."

As I said that, a blade materialized in front of me with its tip at my throat.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you…"

"And why not, demigod."

"Look closely my little owlet stalker." With the tip of my blade at her throat and the Quin dent prongs at her thigh.

Her eyes widened as she realized the predicament, she was in. We both immediately jumped back and she sighed to calm herself down, knowing that I was only trying to rile her up.

"I will see you again Athena." As I turned and started changing Estelle's clothes. Estelle smiling cheekily at Athena.

"Yes, you will" She flashed out.

Unknown POV

Location: Unknown

Time: Same as above

"So, the demigod has challenged us huh…"

"Yes, it appears so."

"One mortal."

"What will we do now?"

"Just snap his cord."

"Why not make him suffer…he dares to stand up to us….US!"

"He has always been uncontrollable….it has always been problematic. Very tedious."

"He intends to repeat history…."

"The world bends to our will, yet one tries to escape… again."

"He has fallen before…he will fall again."

"Yes."

"Yes."

"Yes…. after all we are The Fates."

"Let the games begin…"

"Begin…"

"Yes…Begin."

That's the end of this chapter.

I hope you liked it.

Anyways…

The dreams obviously give clues and I am not that good with suspense writing. So, those of you who know what is going on…. Congratulations! Those of you who don't, well you are either new to Percy Jackson, God of War or just Greek Mythology in general. So, I welcome you. If you know about any of these and still have no idea…. Shame on you.

And for the Percy Jackson's Fandom's sake DON'T spoil!

I was originally going to do a time skip but decided against it since it would have made the chapter too long.

Hestia's anger…well… Hestia is Bestia!

Percy's modified weapons… capable of partial weapon fluidity.

Clarisse's curiosity…well…go with the flow.

Apollo finally using his domain of poetry. Good for him.

Have a nice time reading!

Αντιο σας ! or Good Bye!
