Chapter 7
Out of nowhere, Rosa came rushing in, raming Beerus aside. Connor knew she was no match for Beerus, but he knew that she wasn't even as close as Master Roshi, he even realized that she might die.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING" Connor yelled.
Rosa looked, only to get punched so hard that kaioken lost its effect. Rosa soares towards the row of trees. Beerus went to the extent of blasting her, multiple times. Connor slowly got up to only see Beerus readying one of his spheres of destruction, he threw his sword to absorb it, but Piccolo got there first and took most of the damage, but Rosa got damaged. Connor came in to see Rosa, bruised,bleeding, and confused, and started to cry, saying she would be ok.
"Connor, I'm sorry" Rosa said.
"I told you, I had this, now rest." Connor replied.
Connor told Vegeta to go take her to a hospital. Vegeta agreed and left with Piccolo to take Rosa to a hospital. Connor then looked at Beerus, enraged, he charged at Beerus. Beerus, however, shot more spheres of destruction. Connor dodged them, and they started to go back and forth. Connor thought maybe if I outsmart him, I might be able to make damage. So Connor started to take the defensive, Beerus was punching so hard that the heat could have been felt by the fighters down below.
"You're getting tired," Beerus said.
"Shut up," Connor replied.
"Maybe, if there is no Super Saiyan God, I might destroy Rosa personally" Beerus said.
"SHUT UP!" Connor replied.
This triggered Connor, to the point he went SSJ3, but all he did was charge. Beerus shot ki blast at Connor and all it did was make him angrier. He charged at Beerus, who threw multiple Ki blasts. Connor, dodged them and charged at Beerus. There is no way I can beat this guy Connor thought to himself. He drew his sword and started swinging the blade at Beerus. Beerus dodged the majority of the swings and hit Connor in the gut.
"Give up, it's over," Beerus said.
Connor knew it was over, but he kept on fighting. He charged at Beerus, only to get Hammered by him. He realized that he was exhausted from his injuries, but he kept fighting. Connor started to slow down so much that he started to miss Beerus. Beerus took advantage of that and Nailed him to the Boat. Connor was bruised and Beerus was ready for another one of his big attacks. He threw the sphere and everyone was starting to panic. Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, Vegeta, and the other Z-Fighters started to charge up their attacks. They all fired and it hit the sphere. Then Connor, out of nowhere charged at the blast and grabbed it. Everyone was in shock, even Vegeta, but Connor didn't just grab the blast, he started to absorb it.
"What is he doing?" Asked Piccolo.
"He's… Absorbing the blast." Vegeta responded.
Connor started to absorb the blast, but Beerus started to flick his fingers and the blast got bigger. He eventually started to be pushed back, to the point that he lost SSJ3. They all knew that it might be over. Damn it, Connor thought, I can't do this, no matter what I do I still fail to protect those I love. Then Connor remembered the technique.
Connor…
The young Connor looked up and saw his uncle. After another training session, they were both tired.
"I can't do this, I can't absorb something that big" Connor puffed.
His uncle looked at him and smiled.
"Conradious, when you absorb something, don't think of the size of the object, only think about condensing it or altering it, we are descendants of the Omni-King and so we have these special abilities. Such as absorbing and altering ki"
As his uncle said this he formed a ki orb, altering its shape and size, condensing it and then releasing it into the air.
"Don't let my teachings die in vain Conradious"
Connors eyes turned yellow, as a shock on energy coursed through his body altering the blast to a smaller condensed size. As the orange blast shrank, Beerus looked surprised that he was doing it. That technique, I haven't seen that move since before the Great Omni-War, Beerus thought to himself. The blast was absorbed and Connor aura changed into an hazy orange as even Beerus knew he absorbed too much of the energy, all of a sudden there was a bright light and a loud roar that came out of that light. The Z fighters were all blinded and were horrified to see what it was as the light faded. When the light faded showed a Great Oozaru. The only thing was that the fur wasnt black or brown like the usual Oozaru forms, but this time it was Yellow, and that same orange aura surrounded the giant beast. Beerus was supprised to see a rarity such as this. To think that by applying Super Saiyan would cause this to happen. Vegeta and Gohan sprang into action but were knocked away by the foul beast. He started fighting Beerus who just simply dodged the attacks and hit him in the gut. The the beast shouted very loudly as the Earth started to shake. Trees moved and bent to the point of breaking and the shit was almost flipped, another great blinding light surrounded the beast as the beast war cry started to sound more human. When the light faded, the Z fighters were suprised to see what they had saw.
What did they see, will this boost of power be enough for Connor to beat Beerus, and will Goku be able to make it there in time? Find out in the next chapter of OMNI-KING, A DragonBall Story.
