Season 3 Chapter 5: Hidden Experiments Pt. 1
Anna, Hunter, and I had a week left of our summer break before we eventually had to go back to school. Of course being the kids they are Anna and Hunter didn't truly look forward to school like I did, and for many reasons. I on the other hand wasn't all that worried. I just decided to study some basic subjects I'd be learning like Algebra, History, and English so I can get a headstart.
"Hey Aaron! Could you come down for a sec!?", My dad called from downstairs.
I set down the Algebra book I was currently studying to the side and got out of bed. I exited my room and went downstairs to find my father in the living room on a couch reading some kind of letter.
"You needed me for something Dad?", I asked.
He said nothing but handed me a letter and I accepted the paper, "This came in the mail for you. It doesn't exactly say where it came from or who sent it, but I'll let you do the judge."
That did seem odd hearing it from Dad, but not as odd as the things I've had to deal with in the past. I assumed maybe the person who originally wrote this letter didn't want to give away their identity for reasons unbeknownst to me. I then proceeded to intensely read the letter.
Greeting Aaron Daniels,
We've been watching you ever since, what the kids say these days call the "AaronZilla Incident". We are a secret organization that has taken a great interest in your impeccable abilities and what information you may uphold and would like to talk to you in further detail. If you do agree with our terms please meet us at the docks. Don't hesitate to bring family as well, they are welcome.

After reading the entire thing, I looked at Dad who appeared just as concerned as I was. Now I'm freaked out by the fact that somebody has been monitoring me and my family for god knows how long. I mean I had heard those conspiracies about the secret societies keeping tabs on people, but this note takes the cake.
"What should we do?", Dad asked sounding quite dependant on the decision I'd make.
The only thing we could do whoever sent this up on their offer. I scratched my head, quietly pondering on what to do. Anna peeked into the living room. I guessed she overheard a little bit of the commotion Dad and I was making. "Is everything ok?", she asked looking at us both.
"You and Hunter can go and get dressed.", I answered finally coming to a conclusion. I looked at my father and he shook his head, seemingly unsure of what to think or say. "We've dealt with worse right? Plus we don't know what they want yet."
"Alright, we're here.", Dad sighed.
"Why are we here again?", Hunter sighed.
"Who knows.", Anna replied.
Stepping out of the car I was kind of expecting like a huge ship or something waiting for us. But we stared into the horizon of the ocean ahead of us. "Ok was this somebody's pathetic attempt at a prank?", I piped up, my blood boiling.
Before I got the chance to rant about how we were probably screwed over, Anna tapped on my shoulder and pointed at the water. I discontinued my rambling and looked in that general direction. A large shadowy blob glided under the water right towards us. A medium sized Submarine peeked out of the water revealing it's futuristic design. Blue glowly lines extended across it's black metal exterior, It was built sort of like my van with the sliding doors and all. Suddenly a bright red wave of light came from the submarine sweeping over us, it must be scanning us I guess?
"Scan Complete, Welcome Mr. Daniels."
The doors slid open allowing us entry. I stepped in first in awe seeing the red leather seats, and pitch black carpet. We all sat down in amazement.
"What is all this?", Anna asked in childish wonder.
Our seats automatically clicked us into our seats as the sub decended down into the water. This whole experience was odd and interesting at the same time. I stared out the window as different species of fish swam by us. After a minute or two went by the sub squeezed into a very wide cylindrical tunnel. Whoever built all of this must have some serious money. Yet again, what purpose would I serve to come here?
The sub planted itself into a hard concrete liek surface once were fully inside, the room draining itself of the water.
"Welcome to Evolution Incorporations."
Our seatbelts unbuckled themselves as the we exited the sub carefully. Our jaws dropped upon seeing where we ended up. We seemed to be in some sort of underground laboratory, both humans and anthro scientists operating on machinery I've never seen before, testing all sorts of different chemicals, and doing other science stuff I clearly don't understand.
"What is this place?", Hunter asked his mouth agape.
"Looks like one of those laboratories from those movies we watched.", Dad suggested.
"You must be Aaron Daniels?", a voice asked.
Before us was a man who looked to be in his late forties. He had a slim but well toned figure, a peach complexion hazelnut colored short hair and goatee, and sky blue eyes. He wore a black business suit and tie and kept his composure which made him look more professional.
"Yes I am, who are you exactly?", I beckoned.
The man let out a hearty chuckle before introducting himself, "My apologies, my name is Dom Rosenburg. As the AI in your ride down here has already informed you that this lovely establishment is Evolution Incorporations. Please, Follow me if you would."
Dom took the lead while we sat back, unsure of what to do. Dad along with Anna and Hunter gazed towards me as if waiting for my approval. It didn't seem too bad, wasn't like anything we've ever dealt with before. I shrugged and followed after the strange man. Now we just had to prepare ourselves for anymore surprises.
We passed many different rooms with a group of scientists all focusing on one particular task. Soon we had came to a stop by a room that was quite larger than the rest. Dom held out his hand in a gesture that came off as a warning.
"I will have to warn you that what you'll see behind this door is quite graphic. I think it's best only Aaron comes to see this.", Dom said in a way that brought my anxiety back. I could tell my family were secretly frustrated that they couldn't come, but they eventually cooperated. "If you would follow me Mr. Daniels?"
I nodded in confirmation and followed Dom into the room. Once we passed the door it was apparent that we were inbetween two corridors rather than a room. Many doors alligned the halls with different name tags on placed near their frames. But before us was a window that I couldn't see out of all that well. Dom pressed a button placed by the window and the mechanical shutters opened revealing a sight that not only deeply conflicted me, but pissed me off in words that I cannot describe.
