Kurt and Blaine appeared back in The Unknown nearly a century after they'd left it, wrapped around one another, their lips pressed tightly against the other. They held on for as long as they could, feeling that calm sense of nothing and no lifetime falling around them, the feeling that always greeted them in The Unknown.
"You're back!" Caphriel said, grinning. "It's nice to see you two again."
"Did you like your gifts?" Karma asked, joining them again. She always seemed to be there when they got back, and neither boy was complaining. "You both deserved them after everything you'd been through."
"They were wonderful!" Kurt promised, giving her a hug around the neck. "Better than I could have ever dreamed." He smiled wide as Blaine did the same. "Thank you."
Karma beamed, happy to have been of help to them.
"So, what's next for you?" Caphriel asked. "Are you ready to go again right away?"
The boys looked at one another, then they looked at Caphriel and shrugged.
"We're not sure," Blaine admitted. "What do you think? Where should we go next?"
