F: Colin just called and he agreed to try a Disney trip over Labor Day weekend.

R: ok, so which Disney do you want to try? Your choice I can fly us to either.

F: well Florida is a shorter flight so let's go there when we just have a weekend.

R: fly down Friday evening after work and home Monday afternoon?

F: sounds like a plan to me, I'll check with Colin to confirm. I'll organize the hotel.

R: I've got the plane. Might be time for Colin to find out I'm the person he's been resenting recently.

F: It might be an interesting flight. I'll call you after work x

R: talk to you later x

The Friday of the long weekend arrived and Finn picked Rory up from her office in his car service. He had taken her luggage for the weekend with him that morning when he left her apartment.

"Hi Finn, how was your day?" Rory said, greeting Finn with a kiss.

"All good Kitten, how was yours? I grabbed you a coffee for the drive to the airstrip."

"Thank you, you definitely know the way to my heart." She said, climbing into the car.

"That's my plan." He replied with a smirk.

When they got to the airstrip Rory went on ahead of Finn, she wanted to talk to her pilot and the crew before they took off.

Finn stood outside the plane and waited for Colin and Stephanie to arrive. He was hoping that the weekend would go well. He knew how Colin could sometimes become like a petulant child when he feels cornered or isn't having a good time.

"Deep in thought Finn?" Colin asked, "Rory's had a better effect on Finn than we thought. Look at him voluntarily thinking."

"Colin, no mocking Finn." Stephanie said, slapping her fiance's arm. "So Finn, where's Rory?"

"She's onboard already, she wanted to talk to the crew." Finn replied walking up the stairs on to the plane.

"You get a new plane Finn?" Colin said, looking around the plane.

"Not my plane mate."

"Hey Rory, how's it going?" Stephanie said coming into the cabin.

"Hi guys, everyone ready to get out of town for a while?"

"Yes, I cannot wait, it has been a long week," Colin responded.

"I've got some work to do once we are in the air, so you will have to forgive me for being boring during it." Rory said apologetically.

"It's ok Kitten, I figured you might when I picked you up so early."

"At least the flight should be long enough to get it all done so that I won't even need to turn my work cell on all weekend."

"Well that sounds like a good compromise," Finn said, giving her a kiss. "Come sit beside me for take off."

"Sure I'm just going to tell them we are all ready to go."

"Okay," he replied, watching her walk away.

"So Finn, you never answered if you got a new plane?" Colin repeated his question.

"I did answer, it's not my plane mate."

"Then whose plane did we hijack for the weekend?" Colin looked around curiously for a clue.

"Mine," Rory said, coming back from the cockpit. She bit her lip to stop her from openly laughing at the shock on Colin's face.

Finn however, just gave in to it and openly laughed. "Colin, you should see your face."

"Rory, I mean this in the nicest way possible but how do you have a plane?" Colin asked incredulously.

"Colin!" Stephanie slapped the back of his head. "Sorry Rory, you can ignore my rude other half."

"It's ok, Finn was shocked too. I travel alot for work so it's just handy to have."

While they were talking the plane took off. Once they were in the air they moved around and Rory quickly moved to her desk on the plane and flipped open her laptop and her briefcase. The flight attendant appeared as if from nowhere and set a coffee down in front of her.

"Let me know if there is anything else you need, Miss Hayden."

"Thanks Jessica, just get my friends whatever they need and keep the coffee coming like normal." Rory said returning to her case file, internally hoping that Colin didn't hear her.

Finn dismissed Jessica, telling her the rest would just help themselves from the bar on the plane. He poured himself and Colin a scotch, and a gin and tonic for Stephanie. They talked and vaguely made plans for the weekend, but they all acknowledged that really they needed Rory to make a firm plan as she was the only one who had been there. Meanwhile Rory was typing rapidly at her laptop, occasionally stopping to dig in her briefcase.

As the crew began to prepare the cabin for its descent, Rory tidied up all of her work materials and locked them in her briefcase. She then made a point of showing Finn that she was locking it in the bedroom on the plane to prove she wasn't bringing anywork with her for the weekend.

"So what did I miss while I was contributing to society as you all got to relax?" Rory asked, plopping down beside Finn with a kiss to his check.

"You didn't miss much Kitten, we couldn't do anything fun without you," Finn reassured her.

"Whipped already Finn," Colin laughed at him.

"Just know how to keep my woman happy, Colin," Finn retorted.

"That you do," Rory muttered under her breath. When Stephanie snorted with laughter, she realised it hadn't been as quiet a mutter as she thought and she turned crimson.

"Oh, look at that, we're here," Rory stated trying to distract them before the teasing started, they had just landed at a private airstrip in Orlando.

They all started to deplane, as they headed to the waiting town car with their luggage, Rory hung back. She thanked her pilot and attendant, she had actually made a point to hire a couple so that they got to travel together. Rory had arranged for them to stay in the area and also gave them tickets for the park as a thank you for working on a holiday weekend.

As she walked away from them, Jessica shouted a final "Thank you Miss Hayden, we will see you on Monday."

This time as Rory was walking towards the others to join them, she could tell by Colin and Stephanies faces that they had heard.

"Miss Hayden?" Stephanie asked, as they climbed in the car.

Rory looked at Finn, he just shrugged his shoulders and pulled her in close to him and took her hand. He figured she might need some moral support for this conversation.

"Yes, Hayden is part of my last name, always has been, even if not widely advertised."

"But I thought you were a Gilmore?" Colin asked.

"I am," Rory replied. She took a deep breath before continuing. "Lorelai Leigh Gilmore-Hayden the third."

"Did we know Rory wasn't your first name?" Stephanie asked.

"Hang on Lorelai Leigh? Are you Leigh Hayden? No cant be, they are based in Boston and went to Harvard, Rory went to Yale with us." Colin half stated, half asked, almost talking to himself.

"I'm Leigh Hayden, I went to Harvard Law. I'm based mainly between the New York and Boston offices, hence the jet." Rory said, the words tumbling out quickly.

"What? How? I'm so confused," Colin responded.

"My dads Christopher Hayden, Colin. Always was."

"No way!"

"Colin!" Finn scolded.

"I don't mean it like that, I'm just shocked we never knew. Sorry Rory."

"There was an NDA in place when I was in Yale to reduce the security risk to me. Logan did meet my dad, and my dad even was my escort at my debutante ball. Society people just have either short memories or are bad at putting two and two together."

"It's late and I for one have had a long week. How about we leave any other questions for later in the weekend?" Finn asked. While they had been talking the car had pulled up to their hotel for the weekend as arranged by Finn.

Once they got out, Finn checked them into their rooms.

"Okay I booked us two separate suites but on the same floor, so we are close but private. How about we meet in our suite at nine for breakfast?" he asked Colin and Stephanie.

"Sounds like a plan," they said as they exited the elevator. Their suites were next door to each other. They all said good night and separated to their own suites.

The next morning both couples met in Rory and Finns suite as it was the biggest. Finn had ordered a mini buffet for them for breakfast.

"So I think we should ease Colin in and start at Epcot for today." Rory started.

"Is that the one that goes around the world?" Stephanie asked.

"Yes. I think we should try snacking or drinking around the world. So we each have to have either a drink or food at each stop. I don't recommend a drink each time, you end up pretty hammered. I've done it before." Rory confirmed.

"I'm game, Kitten," Finn said.

"I'm in," Stephanie said. They all stopped and looked at Colin.

"Fine, I'm in too, he said, rolling his eyes, as they finished up breakfast.

"So meet downstairs in twenty?" Finn stated. They all agreed, going their separate ways to finish getting ready to go.

They started their day in Mexico with Blood orange margaritas for the girls, jalapeno margarita for Finn and an avocado margarita for Colin, they all shared some churritos. They continued from there working their way towards Canada at the other end of the park. There were some wins throughout the day like the Grand MArnier and grey goose orange slush in France and the

La Fin du Monde in Canada, and some big loses like the mango gingerita in China and the hot sake in Japan. Rory was happy to get funnel cake and she introduced them all to the poutine in the Canadian pavilion.

It was a good relaxed day to ease Colin into Disney. They enjoyed walking around and seeing the different sites and characters. Rory and Finn got their picture taken with Belle in the french pavilion and Alice in Wonderland in the United Kingdom. Stephanie managed to persuade Colin to get their picture taken with Jasmine and Aladdin in Morocco, and also with goofy.

They didn't finish out the day in the parks and instead watched the fireworks from the balcony of Rory and Finns hotel suite, both couples agreed that they would stay in the parks for the fireworks the next night.

The next day both couples met in the lobby for head to Magic Kingdom, Finn was kitted out in his Iron Man outfit that Rory had got him for Disneyland, everyone else was in normal clothes. Finn was determined to get them all a set of ears as soon as they got into the parks.

He went to the first shop as soon as they got in the park, he got Stephanie classic Minnie mouse ones black ears with a red polka dot bow, he got Colin plain black ones as he knew he wouldn't wear anything else, for Rory he got her some red sparkly ones, and for himself he got the marvel ones he had looked at in Paris.

"Here you all go," he said, handing them out. Everyone else had gone to starbucks so they hadn't known what he was doing. The two girls happily put theirs on, Colin put his on after alot of whispering in his ear from Stef so she probably promised him sex in exchange Finn thought.

"Rory, we need a picture in front of this castle to add to our Paris one," Finn said, while he was already dragging her that direction. "This time I can kiss you for the picture," he said as they posed.

"I wish you had the first time, I really wanted you to." Rory replied after their picture had been taken and they were watching Colin and Stef pose for a picture.

Rory and Finn had decided to start the day by introducing the other couple to Space Mountain to start, then they did the Seven Dwarfs mine train and headed to Pirates of the Caribbean, by the time they were coming out of the Haunted Mansion even Colin was openly admitting to having fun. While Rory and Finn rode the carousel Stephanie made Colin go with her to visit all the princesses.

As they had just snacked all day, they had supper at Cinderella's Royal Table Restaurant. Rory had never eaten here before either, as it had always been too fancy to go to all alone, or with her mom. By the end of the meal Colin was raving about the quality of the food, his beef tenderloin apparently having been the best he had ever tried.

The well fed and watered (wined) foursome left the restaurant to go and secure themselves a spot to watch the fireworks. Rory pulled Finn in tight behind her, replicating their pose from when they had been in Paris.

"I had a good day Finn, thank you for coming with me again."

"No, thank you Rory, I had a great day. I mean it, I want you to come with me to visit all the disney resorts. I'm a fully converted Disney fan. I think we may have even converted Colin this weekend." As Finn said that, they both looked over at Colin and Stephanie who were standing in a similar pose to them just out of earshot.

Once the fireworks started, Finn leaned down into Rory, with his mouth beside her ear he started:

"Rory, I'm in love with you. I feel those fireworks everytime you touch or kiss me. I've never said that to anyone, or felt like this before."

Rory turned so fast in his arms, he thought she was going to give herself whiplash.

"Finn, I love you too. I've said those words before but it has never felt like this before."

They both looked at each other completely unaware of the fireworks continuing around them. Finn leaned down and met her in a kiss, then neither of them knew if the fireworks were in their heads or in the air.
