I stared in shock, but I eventually collected my wits, and though back to Lunch, "I thought as much. My dads Edward right?"
The names seemed to make my mum physically burst with love, so I was going to guess yes. "So that was my dad, and my aunts and uncles at school today?" I ask my mom again.
"I believe so."
"Bella if I'm not being too assertive, may I ask you and Renesmee to accompany me back home so we can all talk as a family?"
Bella's pov
Watching Renesmee's face light up at the word family made it impossible for me not to say okay. Plus the idea that I would be seeing Edward again, even if he was beyond mad or hurt by me, I would be a billion times happier if I saw a glimpse of him.

The Cullen residence was similar to the one they had in force, however slightly larger. Isolating surrounded my forest, the complex had windows in place of a lot of walls and driving u the driveway, I could see all family members eyes upon Carlisle's car. "What if they don't like me?" my daughter asks worriedly. Though she looked 16, it was hard to remember she had only been around for 10 years, and sometimes her emotional maturity reflected that. Just like when she was a toddler, Renesmee stood behind me as we walked the steps to the house, hosting to the back of my long-sleeve top in her fist.
For the first time in 10 years saw Edward. It was hard not to just collapse to the floor then and there and the very sight of him. He took a tentative step towards me, but at vamp speed, I flew myself over to him, and he wrapped his arms around me so tight as if letting me go was never an option. I ran my hand through his fluffy brown hair and smashed my lips onto his. It feels so right and yet so wrong. I want this more than anything else, but how has he just forgiven me for the past 10 years like that? "Bella?" laughed in disbelief into my hair, "My love?" he whispered again.
And this time I really did melt under his words, "I'm so sorry. I'm sorry. I love you and I'm sorry like nothing else. I rushed to get out in one breath It was only then I remembered Renesmee at the door, and I tried to separate from Edward, but the greatest distance he was letting between us, ended at holding hands. For that I was thankful. I still wasn't sure that I could ever be away from him ever again.
Once again Renesmee took ahold of the back of my shirt, "Everyone." I announced. "This is Renesmee mine and Edwards daughter." Nobody has said anything since we arrived apart for Edward and me, and I was starting to feel Reneemee shift awkwardly behind me.
"Your lack of response is making her nervous," Edward voiced her thoughts to everyone.
Esme was the first to speak out of everyone, "Hi Renesmee," her voice whispered in glee and shock, "Is it alright if I gave you a hug," she almost choked out. Renesmee nodded her head and met her Grandma Esme halfway taking her into an affectionate hug.
Esme directed Renesme over to the couch, and that is when all eyes fell on me and Edward again. But before anyone had another chance to do anything, Alice raced forward and lifted me in a big bear hug. "Don't ever leave us like that again! You have a lot of explaining to do Bella!"
"And I will tell you all anything and everything you want to know, but first let me show you what I can." I single Renesme over here and two by two she goes through showing everyone our life story together, and from the look on Edwards's face, everytime she showed her birth, his face contorted into pain.
Eventually after filling in a few gaps, everyone understood why I left. What was worse is that each one of them felt terrible for ME and were asking ME to forgive THEM. "Hello! I left without an explanation, when you all were family to me. I should be grovelling for forgiveness not the other way around."
This time Jasper spoke up, "Bella I think I speak for everyone when I say that you left behind your husband and life to look after your child but to also save your family. How could we ever be mad at you for loving us?"
"Truth be told. I never really though of it that way. I always thought you would be mad I kept her from you all."
"From what I've deducted out of Renesmee's mind, she's immortal now right?" Edward asked me.
"Yeah, she has been sixteen for the past five years, and we believe that it will stay like that forever."
Everyone released a collective sigh, and Edward answered Renesmees thought question, " They sighed because they want to get to know you and they want to spend time with you, they're not sighing with annoyance that your going to live forever."
This time Carlisle spoke, "Renesmee, your family. So is your mom. I'm sorry we weren't their for the first part of your life, but I hope we can be here for the rest of it."
