A/N: Hey guys, I know that it's been awhile. I've been working on getting all of my stories updated. I've been trying to get several stories completed. If you completely follow me then you will have noticed that I've gotten a couple of stories completely this week. Last week I was working on a different story after I had read a review, tonight I re-read this story along with the reviews for it, so I'm going say the same thing here. If you don't like my story or you don't like something that I have to say…don't read it. I'm a writer in my heart and soul. Not only do I write fanfiction but I also have three books published on Amazon. I don't take kindly to trash talk. Rant over. Thanks. Here's the next chapter, it's a little short. Hope that you enjoy. Read, review and favorite please and thank you.
Chapter 13
Rory POV… four months later.
A lot had happened in the last four months. James and Steph had gotten back together. This time I was staying out of it because I didn't need the drama. Honor was doing better. Mitchum had decided to give her a chance at running the company and she'd been doing well, she and Josh were even back together. Colin and Louise had split up over a fight that they'd had. Finn and Mads were as strong as ever. Logan and I would hear our families talk about how they'd heard from Mads's grandparents that they could see a wedding in the future.
Spring Break was approaching and Logan and I were taking a trip to London. Neither one of us had been there since we'd graduated high school and we thought that it was time. I was sitting at my breakfast bar looking up some things for us to do when I heard my front door open. When I turned around, I saw that it was Mom. "Hey." She said.
"Hey Mom." I said, turning backing to my computer.
"What ya doing?" She asked.
"Looking up some things to do when we go to London." I told her.
"Fun. You excited about this trip? I know the last trip that you and Logan went on was during all of the Honor drama." Mom said.
I went into the kitchen and fixed us each a cup of coffee. "Yeah. She's righted all of her wrongs and she's doing good at the company. Honestly, I think that Logan hopes that she'll succeed. He's never wanted it." I told her.
I handed her a cup. "Makes sense. So, your Dad is gonna be out of town for a while." Mom said.
"Reason?" I asked.
"Grandpa is thinking about opening a second firm. He's looking at Boston. If he decides to do it, he wants your Dad to run it." Mom said.
"How does Dad feel about it?" I asked her, leaning against my counter.
She shrugged. "I don't know. You know how your Dad is. But if he does it, it means that we're moving." She said.
I couldn't believe it. I couldn't imagine my parents not living in Hartford. I couldn't imagine not seeing my mom as often as I do. "It would suck, if you want my opinion." I said.
Mom frowned. "I know kid. I don't know what your Dad's gonna do. We'll figure it out." She said. I walked around the breakfast bar. I hugged her. When I let her go, she gave me a small smile. "Enjoy your trip okay?"
I nodded. "Yeah ok." I said.
That evening, I was sitting on my couch with Chinese food looking through Netflix for something to watch when my front door opened. I looked over my shoulder and saw that it was Logan. "Hey babe." I said when he closed the front door.
"Hey." He sounded exhausted.
"Everything okay?" I asked.
He walked in and sat on the couch beside me. "Just been a long day. I spent most of it in New York with my father." He said.
"Why?" I asked him.
He ran a hand over his face. "Dad wanted to talk about my future with the company since there have been changes." He said. Changes…meaning Honor.
I sat my food on the table. "Meaning Honor?" I asked. He nodded. "So now what? What does he want you to do now?" I asked him.
He sighs. "After graduation, he wants me to move to London and take over the European market." Logan said.
"London?" I asked and he nodded. "For how long?"
He shrugged. "I don't know." He said.
"Well, it's three years away so there's still time." I said. I grabbed my food and continued eating.
"You get anything for me?" He asked.
"Don't I always." I said, smiling at him.
Three days later, Logan and I were boarding the Huntzberger plane for our trip to London. Even though I knew that it was still three years from now, I couldn't help but wonder what would happen to Logan and I if he had to move to London…especially since we didn't know how long that he would be there. I worried that Logan wouldn't want to be with me if he hadn't to move overseas. But I also wondered if he would want me to go with him.
When I graduated from Yale, I was supposed to start Law school, would Grandpa Straub be okay with me going to Law school in London? Would he let me defer for a year or two. I had no idea what to think about any of it. The only thing that I did know right now was that I loved Logan and we still had three years to figure things out.
